N.C. Waste More Stimulus Money

The more we learn about the Stimulus Bill and where the money is going, the more disgusted I get. Representative Larry Kissell and all the other yahoos who praise this boondoggle should be ashamed of themselves.

Here is a list compiled by Civitas of the top ten most egregious programs that have wasted taxpayers money:

1) Study of Monkeys using cocaine $71,623

2) N.C. Dance Theater $50,000

3) Reducing hot flashes thru yoga $147,694

4) Collecting, researching, and reporting on stimulus (propaganda) $492,940

5) Create interactive dance performance technology $762,372

6) American Dance Festival $50,000

7) Construction of a new town hall in Bladenboro $300,000

8) N.C. Folk Life Institute $25,000

9) Preservation of an insect collection at N.C. State $253,123

10) Greensboro Symphony Orchestra $50,000 -- no doubt Senator Kay Hagan had a hand in this one.

This is absolutely outrageous. Do these people have no shame?
