NEA Targets Harold Johnson in N.C. 8th Congressional District

I like many of you have been bombarded with political flyers for the last couple of weeks. One of the more persist groups is the NEA Fund for Children and Public Education.

The National Education Association is probably the largest professional organization and labor union in the country. Their support for socialist policies is notorious and disconcerting; especially since the members of this organization are primarily educators. The NEA website has Saul Alinsky as recommended reading. Isn’t that scary?

The target in North Carolina’s 8th congressional district is Harold Johnson. The NEA Fund for Children and Public Education is clearly in the Larry Kissell camp. Here is a sample of their fear mongering:

Harold Johnson would give corporations and the rich a tax break while putting more burdens on our backs

Harold Johnson would hurt middle-class families and our economy

Harold Johnson would privatize Social Security, reduce guaranteed minimum benefits, and give billions of dollars in fees to Wall Street firms

Harold Johnson wants to let Wall Street gamble with Social Security

Harold Johnson would let Social Security’s guaranteed benefits end

It seems the NEA is concerned with every issue except education. Now we know why Johnny can’t read.
