Obama is Lincoln Incarnate?

Obama is no Lincoln.  This so-called president has never led from the front.  As a matter of fact, he hasn’t even bothered to lead from behind.  No, this man is a political opportunist, who’ll capitalize on the events unfolding before him.  Until the events are ripe, that’s when he’ll come off the golf course or some fundraiser where the sheeple fawn over his majesty.

But that’s not how the Media will play this tragedy.  To them, Obama is the savior of the republic, who deigns to come down from Mt. Olympus and grace the plebeians with his omnipresent wisdom; he’ll unite a do-nothing Congress whose Tea Party faction is undermining the will of the people.  Savior Obama is Lincoln incarnate.  So says the Media.  So says the republic.

But somewhere in the hinterlands is the truth.  The Democrats shuttered the Senate republicans, and the House majority were feverishly at work on a budget:

Until a call from the president on Wednesday, Senator McConnell says he had had no contact from any Democrat on the fiscal cliff since Thanksgiving. “The phone never rang, so here we are five days from the New Year and we might start talking,” he said in a floor speech on Thursday.

On the House side, Speaker Boehner, who faces a reelection for his post on Jan. 3, says the House has already passed legislation on May 10 and Aug. 1 to avert the entire fiscal cliff, so now the "Senate must act."

"Speaker Boehner will attend a meeting with congressional leaders at the White House, where he will continue to stress that the House has already passed legislation to avert the entire fiscal cliff and now the Senate must act," spokesman Brendan Buck said in a statement on Thursday.

With no new offers from Republicans or Democrats on Capitol Hill, say many congressional analysts, it's up to a president who has little incentive to shoulder a burden that the congressional leaders themselves have failed to take up.

The analysts believe it’s up to this president to solve our fiscal crisis?  This man can’t even get a budget passed in the democratically led Senate.  But they are right in one respect:  he has little incentive to shoulder the burden.  The MEDIA has seen to that!

Mexico Fulfilling Reconquista Dreams Through U.S. Courts

Isn’t it wonderful that a foreign country can come to the United States and undermine our sovereignty?  It makes it that much easier when we have a federal government who cares more about the rights of an invader than its citizens.
Mexico has picked the most “progressive” court in the land to fulfill its reconquista dreams:  the 9th Circuit Court.

PHOENIX (AP) — The Mexican government has urged a U.S. court to stop Arizona from enforcing a minor section of the state's 2010 immigration law that prohibits the harboring of illegal immigrants.

Lawyers representing Mexico asked the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in a filing Wednesday to uphold a lower-court ruling that blocked police from enforcing the ban. Mexico argued the ban harms diplomatic relations between the United States, undermines the U.S.'s ability to speak to a foreign country with one voice and encourages the marginalization of Mexicans and people who appear to be from Latin America.

"Mexico cannot conduct effective negotiations with the United States when the foreign policy decisions of the federal governments are undermined by the individual policies of individual states," lawyers for the Mexican government said in a friend-of-the-court brief.

Undermined?  Let me get this straight.  Arizona is undermining the immigration laws of the United States?  The only parties I see who are undermining the immigration policies of our country is the Obama administration, Mexico, and basically the whole damn third-world who need an outlet for their indigent poor.
As far as I’m concerned:  Screw you Mexico!  Screw you Obama administration! And screw the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals!

Record High Numbers of Americans Collecting Social Security Benefits

This is probably the scariest statistic I’ve seen.  We almost have more people on the public dole than we have private sector workers.  This doesn’t bode well.

(CNSNews.com) - The Social Security program ran a $47.8 billion deficit in fiscal 2012 as the program brought in $725.429 billion in cash and paid $773.247 for benefits and overhead expenses, according to official data published by Social Security Administration.

The Social Security Administration also released new data revealing that the number of workers collecting disability benefits hit a record 8,827,795 in December--up from 8,805,353 in November.

The overall number of Social Security program beneficiaries—including retired workers, dependent family members and survivors and disabled workers and their dependent family members—also hit a record in December, climbing from 56,658,978 in November to 56,758,185 in December.

In 2011, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there was an average of 112.556 million full-time workers in the United States, of whom 17.806 million worked full-time for local, state or federal government. That left an average of only 94.750 million full-time private sector workers in the country.

That means that for every 1.67 Americans who worked full-time in the private sector in 2011, there is now 1 person collecting benefits from the Social Security administration.

Wow.  This is unsustainable.

Generation Y Voted for Permanent Depression

I want to congratulate the 20 – 35 year old voters for their participation in putting Barack Hussein Obama back into office.  You are the epitome of the low-information voter.  And the sad thing is you don’t even know how badly you screwed yourself.  Here is a report of what your present and future is going to be:

Generation Y professionals entering the workforce are finding careers that once were gateways to high pay and upwardly mobile lives turning into detours and dead ends. Average incomes for individuals ages 25 to 34 have fallen 8 percent, double the adult population’s total drop, since the recession began in December 2007. Their unemployment rate remains stuck one-half to 1 percentage point above the national figure.

Three and a half years after the worst recession since the Great Depression, the earnings and employment gap between those in the under-35 population and their parents and grandparents threatens to unravel the American dream of each generation doing better than the last. The nation’s younger workers have benefited least from an economic recovery that has been the most uneven in recent history.

‘Permanently Depressed’
“This generation will be permanently depressed and will be on a lower path of income for probably all of their life -- and at least the next 10 years,” says Rutgers professor Cliff Zukin, a senior research fellow at the university’s John J. Heldrich Center for Workforce Development. Professionals who start out in jobs other than their first choice tend to stay on the alternative path, earning less than they would have otherwise while becoming less likely to start over again later in preferred fields, Zukin says.

I hope the youth in this country wise up in the next twenty years.  But by that time the United States will be just another third-rate country.  I have a suggestion for Generation Y:  be sure to keep your “Hope and Change” posters, because you’re going to need something to wipe your hands with after you dumpster dive for something to eat.

Yeah! King Obama Decrees Federal Employees Get a Raise!

It’s good to be the king; or in this case president.  His lord and master, Barack Hussein Obama, issued another decree from on high:  federal employees will get a raise.  Well, praise be Jesus!  (Are we still allowed to say HIS name?)

I can’t think of a group of people who deserve a raise more than federal employees.  I’m so thankful to slave away and hand over my hard earned money to a group of people who obviously are my betters.  It isn’t like I’ve had a raise in the past four years.  But then again, I’m not a federal employee.

President Barack Obama issued an executive order to end the pay freeze on federal employees, in effect giving some federal workers a raise. One federal worker now to receive a pay increase is Vice President Joe Biden.

According to disclosure forms, Biden made a cool $225,521 last year. After the pay increase, he'll now make $231,900 per year.

Members of Congress, from the House and Senate, also will receive a little bump, as their annual salary will go from $174,000 to 174,900. Leadership in Congress, including the speaker of the House, will likewise get an increase.

Well, off to the galleys I go.  This slave ship won’t row itself.

U.N. Dictates Americans Will Pay Over One-Fifth of Their Budget

Thank God for small favors!  The United Nations General Assembly passed a resolution that ALLOWS the United States to pay for over a fifth of its budget.  Isn’t that wonderful?  I’m glad we had a say in this matter.  After all, it’s not like we’re a sovereign nation, or anything.
The U.N. must be taking cues from the Obama administration.   His administration has deftly pointed out Congress is just window dressing for his monarchial decrees.  Everyone knows the American people can be taken advantage of, except of course, the American people.

(CNSNews.com) – In one of its last actions of the year, the United Nations General Assembly on Christmas Eve agreed to extend for another three years the formula that has U.S. taxpayers contributing more than one-fifth of the world body’s regular budget.

No member-state called for a recorded vote, and the resolution confirming the contributions that each country will make for the 2013-2015 period was summarily adopted. The assembly also approved a two-year U.N. budget of $5.4 billion.

The U.S. has accounted for 22 percent of the total regular budget every year since 2000, and will now continue to do so for the next three years.

The U.S. representative for U.N. management and reform, Joseph Torsella, expressed satisfaction that the U.S. contribution had not been raised above that level.

I wonder if Mr. Torsella expressed his satisfaction before or after he licked the U.N.’s boots.

U.S. Dept of Labor: Workers of the World Unite!

American workers (what’s left of us) can take pride in knowing that not only are we subsidizing our fellow countrymen through government welfare programs; we’re also financing labor unions in foreign countries.  The defunct International Workers of the World would’ve been proud to witness this moment.  Too bad this Marxist organization suffered an ignominious death when their leaders were expelled to the workers’ paradise of Lenin’s Soviet Union.  Congratulations Progressives, you’ve accomplished what generations of Americans have fought against:  a redistribution of wealth to the world’s proletariat.
(CNSNews.com) - Labor Secretary Hilda Solis on Thursday announced a $2.2 million grant that will be used to strengthen budding labor unions in Haiti and Peru.

The taxpayer money will fund projects organized by the AFL-CIO's Solidarity Center, which aims to build a global labor union movement.
"Supporting the ability to organize and protect their rights is important to leveling the playing field for all workers," Solis said in a news release. "This grant will help organizations in Haiti and Peru engage in productive, effective negotiations with governments and employers on behalf of vulnerable workers."

In Haiti, the Solidarity Center will work with the apparel export sector, focusing particularly on issues related to freedom of association (the right to unionize), sexual harassment and forced overtime.

In Peru, the project will focus on the needs of temporary and fixed-term contract workers.
Just last week, the Labor Department awarded $35 million to address child labor in seven countries in Africa, Latin America and Indonesia.

Since 1995, the Labor Department's Bureau of International Labor Affairs has worked with other governments and international organizations to “ensure that workers around the world are treated fairly and are able to share in the benefits of the global economy.”

NC Congressional Delegation Reacts to Connecticut Massacre

How did North Carolina’s congressional delegation react to the tragic shootings in Sandy Hook, Connecticut?   Here are their stances as reported by Carolina Journal:

Supporting more gun control

• Rep. G. K. Butterfield-D, 1st District

“I support the constitutional right of Americans to bear arms. However, in these modern times, I believe Congress should enact responsible gun laws that would limit the proliferation of assault rifles and high-capacity magazines.”

• Rep. David Price, D-4th District

“Rep. Price has called for reinstating the assault weapons ban to get military style weapons off our streets. In the current Congress, he’s also supported measures to close the gun show loophole, strengthen the background check process, and ban large capacity ammunition clips.” — Press Secretary Andrew High

• Rep. Mel Watt, D-12th District

"I would say first of all that I fully support the approach and discussion the president had last night," WRAL quoted Watt as saying. "The Supreme Court has basically elevated the second amendment to the place where the first amendment is elevated.”

 Opposing more gun control

• Rep. Howard Coble, R-6th District

Coble said he would not support any of the president’s three gun control proposals.

“Unfortunately, banning assault weapons, limiting high capacity clips or requiring background checks at gun shows will not reduce gun violence,” he added. “If these restrictions are enacted, assault weapons, many of which are made overseas, will still be available; criminals will continue use firearms with high or low capacity clips; and the black market for firearms will flourish.”

• Rep.-elect Richard Hudson, R-8th District

“There are no easy answers, and I do not support new restrictions on our constitutional freedoms to solve this complex societal problem.”

• Rep.-elect George Holding, R-13th District

“It would be reassuring to believe a government program could cure violence but governments have been trying — and failing — for a long time."

“When tragedies like this happen, it’s natural to want to find a cure — quick. This may be the least popular time to say gun control is not the answer — but it’s not.”

Position unclear

• Sen. Richard Burr, R

“This horrendous event highlights the need to provide care and treatment for mentally ill and unstable individuals and continue to work to keep guns out of the hands of dangerous individuals.”

• Sen. Kay Hagan, D

“We need a common-sense debate on a comprehensive approach that looks at access to guns, including laws that may have already been on the books, access to mental health care, and violent video games. In the coming months I will review any proposals with an open mind, ensuring that they will improve the safety of our communities without restricting the rights of responsible gun owners as guaranteed by the Second Amendment.”

• Rep. Renee Ellmers, R-2nd District

“This must continue to remain our mission — to protect our citizens and seek and rectify the root causes of these evil acts, rather than focusing on means by which they are accomplished.”

• Rep. Walter Jones, R-3rd District

"As the funerals begin … for those killed [Dec. 14], Congressman Jones feels that there will be plenty of time to argue the politics and constitutionality of gun laws, but right now we need to stay focused on keeping those affected by this tragedy in our thoughts and prayers."

• Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-5th District

“In the wake of devastating tragedies, well-meaning people always feel compelled to do something. But whatever we do must not usurp the deliberative process put in place by our founders of subvert our Constitution,” Foxx said. “We don’t weigh in on hypothetical legislation, but the Congresswoman’s support for the Second Amendment is well-documented,” spokeswoman Erika Perryman added.

• Rep. Mike McIntyre, D-7th District

McIntyre gave the following response to WRAL:

“Our nation needs to have a national dialogue to discuss the culture of violence that has become so prevalent on our society and whether we are doing all we can to protect our citizens while also protecting our 2nd Amendment rights.”

• Rep.-elect Robert Pittenger, R-9th District

"Representative-elect Pittenger understands these are complex issues with no easy answers,” spokesman Brian Mullis said. “He intends to fully explore options to address the problem."

• Rep. Patrick McHenry, R-10th District

"Let’s respect the families and give them time to grieve before jumping into heated political debates."

• Rep.-elect Mark Meadows-R-11th District

Meadows did not respond to phone or email messages.

Are You a Democrat, a Republican, or a Southerner?

Are you a Democrat, a Republican, or a Southerner? Here is a little test that will help you decide. The answer can be found by posing the following question:

You are walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children.   Suddenly a Terrorist with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, Raises the knife, and charges at your family...

You are carrying a Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your Family.   What do you do?

Democrat's Answer:

Well, that's not enough information to answer the question!

What is a Kimber 1911 cal. 45 ACP?

Does the man look poor or oppressed?

Is he really a terrorist? Am I guilty of profiling?

Have I ever done anything to him that would inspire him to attack?

Could we run away?

What does my wife think?

What about the kids?

Could I possibly swing the gun like a club and knock the knife out of his hand?

What does the law say about this situation?

Does the pistol have appropriate safety built into it?

Why am I carrying a loaded gun anyway, and what kind of message does this send to society and to my children?

Is it possible he'd be happy with just killing me?

Does he definitely want to kill me, or would he be content just to wound me?

If I were to grab his knees and hold on, could my family get away while he was stabbing me?

Should I call 9-1-1?

Why is this street so deserted?

We need to raise taxes, have paint & weed day.

Can we make this a happier, healthier street that would discourage such behavior.

I need to debate this with some friends for a few days and try to come to a consensus.

This is all so confusing!

Democrats Hold Americans Hostage as They Drive Over Fiscal Cliff

Rahm Emanuel’s dictum, ‘never let a crisis go to waste,’ is playing out right before our eyes.  The Democratic Party’s number 2 man, Rep. Steny Hoyer, shamelessly used the Connecticut tragedy as a tool to increase our national debt:

"It's somewhat like taking your child hostage and saying to somebody else, 'I'm going to shoot my child if you don't do what I want done.' You don't want to shoot your child. There's no Republican leader that wants to default on our debt, that I've talked to," Hoyer said at a Capitol Hill press conference.
First of all, I’ve never heard of a hostage taker threaten to shoot his own child unless some third-party stops spending his money.  Maybe there has been.  I don’t know.  It doesn’t seem plausible to me.  But then again, we are in the age of Obama.

The Democrats recognize they’re in a win-win situation.  They know the majority of their voters are uninformed teat squawkers, and will exploit their stupidity as a means to expand the power of the federal government.  The Democrats are so cocky, they're willing to drive us over the so-called fiscal cliff, as reported by the Politico:
In a letter released Wednesday, Geithner said the extraordinary measures by the Treasury Department will give the government about $200 billion of breathing room, which would typically give the nation about two more months until it faces default on its legal obligations.

But Geithner said because of the unresolved fiscal cliff, this situation was different.

“Given the significant uncertainty that now exists with regard to unresolved tax and spending policies for 2013, it is not possible to predict the effective duration of these measures,” Geithner wrote.

In fact, with tax increases and mandatory spending cuts set to kick in as part of the fiscal cliff, Treasury may be able to hold off on hitting the debt limit for a longer period because the government would have more revenue and less spending.

Wow, it sounds like the writers at the Politico are cheerleaders for this Thelma and Louis scene.  And since we’re alluding to movie scenes, why is Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner referring to the national debt as an extraordinary measure?  Does this mutation of fiscal responsibility have the superpowers of an X-Man?

Geithner indicated that if the year ends without a fix to the fiscal cliff, the extraordinary measures would last longer.

“If left unresolved, the expiring tax provisions and automatic spending cuts, as well as the attendant delays in filing of tax returns, would have the effect of adding some additional time to the duration of the extraordinary measures,” Geithner wrote.

I must say the Democrats are in a “League of Their Own.”

Obama Administration Unilaterally Guts Immigration Laws

The Obama administration has systematically gutted our immigration laws.  On Christmas Eve, when no one was watching, the thugs at ICE discontinued a federal/State/local program that cracked down on this illegal alien invasion.
(CNSNews.com) - Amid Hispanic calls for immigration leniency, the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agency is scrapping a program that allowed specially trained state and local law enforcement officers to enforce federal immigration law.

On Dec. 21, the Friday before Christmas, ICE announced that it has decided "not to renew any of its agreements with state and local law enforcement agencies that operate task forces under the 287(g) program."

ICE said it has concluded that "other enforcement programs, including Secure Communities, are a more efficient use of resources for focusing on priority cases."

Under Secure Communities, the federal officials -- not state or local law enforcement officers -- decide what immigration enforcement action, if any, is appropriate.

The Obama administration in 2009 weakened the 287(g) program by directing state and local police not to arrest many of the illegal immigrants with whom they came into contact.

Not only has the Obama administration rendered the States impotent to protect their citizens, they're also harassing local authorities who used this program to crackdown on this violation of our laws and sovereignty.  A North Carolina, Alamance County Sheriff is under investigation for specious charges of “human rights” violations by the U.S. Justice Department:

The Justice Department’s lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court in Greensboro. It seeks a complete overhaul of the culture and policies of the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office.

Among other things, the Justice Department said that Johnson has told deputies to “go out there and get me some of those taco eaters.” It said his office targets Latinos for traffic violations, pulling them over four to 10 times more often than non-Latinos.

The Justice Department has said it interviewed more than 125 people in its investigation.

But Johnson, through spokesman Randy Jones, said the Justice Department won’t name those people.

“We still don’t know who is alleging anything,” Jones said. “There’s no dates, times or locations.”

Jones also said the sheriff’s office believes the Justice Department focused its traffic-stop analysis on predominantly Latino parts of the county, skewing the figures. The lawsuit says the agency it picked highways “based on the high number of citations” the sheriff’s office issued on those roads.

Will somebody please remind me who our enemy is?  I’m having a hard time distinguishing what is what.

N.C. Law Forces Higher Energy Prices onto Consumers

The green energy scam continues to cost North Carolinians.  Duke/Progress Energy is forced by the state to purchase renewable sources such as solar.  Of course, these pie-in-the-sky technologies are costly and inefficient.  The News and Observer reported the following:
At a time that Progress Energy is seeking a 14 percent rate increase for residential customers in North Carolina, the Raleigh power company wants to slash payments as much as 29 percent for electricity it buys from solar generators and other renewables producers. If approved by the N.C. Utilities Commission, the request would reduce rates the electric utility pays for green energy to levels not seen since 1984, when there was no green energy to speak of in North Carolina.
The power company’s request is tied to the plummeting cost of natural gas, which is lowering the market price of electricity nationwide. Progress contends that it is now overpaying for the green energy it has to buy under state law, and passing on those inflated costs to its customers, who ultimately bear the financial burden in their monthly bills.
The move to cut rates comes at a crucial time for solar power in the state as the industry has nearly weaned itself off a key subsidy.
Only a few years ago, power companies paid solar generators a premium of about 12 cents for every kilowatt hour of power, roughly twice as much in subsidy support as the solar producers made from selling electricity. Today, solar producers typically receive less than 1 cent a kilowatt hour as a subsidy.
The shrinking subsidy – known as a “renewable energy certificate” – had solar advocates congratulating themselves for creating a self-sustaining industry in relatively short order. With the subsidy expected to go away in the near future, North Carolina’s solar industry is operating on razor-thin margins and could come to a standstill if Progress significantly cuts payments for electricity, advocates warn.
“There would be a big curtailment,” said Richard Harkrader, chief executive at Carolina Solar Energy, a Durham developer. “The stuff under contract would go ahead, but it would be very difficult to build any new (solar projects).”
Earlier this year, a hearing was held in Charlotte.  Consumers blamed the energy companies of profiteering.  Unfortunately, these outraged citizens are unaware of a law that requires Duke/Progress to purchase a resource that is costly; a cost that is passed onto them.

The Democrats would have us believe that renewables will save the planet.  And that you should be happy to pay higher energy bills to save Mother Earth.  After all, you’re nothing compared to the environment.

Obama Admin. Reestablishes Tobacco Smoke Enemas

The Obama administration loves to implement antiquated policies that have failed time and time again.  The economy is proof positive of that.  As a matter of fact they’ve reestablished a health care quackery that hasn’t been used since the early 19th century.

Tobacco Smoke Enemas (1750s – 1810s)
The tobacco enema was used to infuse tobacco smoke into a patient’s rectum for various medical purposes, primarily the resuscitation of drowning victims.

A rectal tube inserted into the anus was connected to a fumigator and bellows that forced the smoke towards the rectum.
The warmth of the smoke was thought to promote respiration, but doubts about the credibility of tobacco enemas led to the popular phrase “blow smoke up one’s ass.”

And that’s what the Obama administration has been doing since 2009.

Piers Morgan: The Sulfuric Fart of the West

You have to be quite obnoxious in order to have citizens issue a petition so they can kick your ass out of their country.  Piers Morgan – the sulfuric fart of the West – is just that man.  This transnational mouth breather gets hired by CNN; comes to the United States; and then lectures Americans about what constitutional rights we should be able to keep.  That takes balls.

As of now, the petition has over 70,000 signatures.  The requirement is 25,000 for the Obama administration to answer.

Even Morgan’s native country doesn’t want him back.

The British have responded to a petition calling for the deportation from the United States of CNN host Piers Morgan with one of their own: “Stop Piers Morgan from being deported back to the UK from America.”

The counter-petition, addressed to Theresa May, Home Secretary, is a direct response to the 70,000 Americans who have signed a petition calling for Mr. Morgan to be deported from the United States because of his strong gun-control views.

The UK petition, posted on change.org reads as follows:

“We got rid of him [Piers Morgan] once and why should we have to suffer again. The Americans wanted him, so they should put up with him. We washed our hands of him a long time ago.”

Infowars.com reports that British television personality Jeremy Clarkson has also weighed in on the controversy, tweeting:

“Americans. It took us 40 years to get rid of Piers Morgan. Please don’t send him back.”

There’s not a wind strong enough to purify the stench that emanates from Piers Morgan.

NRA Membership Soars After Newtown, Connecticut Massacre

Americans innately know when the federal government is about to make a power grab.  Guns sales have skyrocketed since the Newtown, Connecticut massacre.  And so has membership to the NRA:

The National Rifle Association, while staying mostly quiet in the immediate aftermath of the mass shooting in Connecticut, has registered an average of 8,000 new members a day since the tragedy, an NRA source told Fox News.

While this broadly aligns with trends seen after similar incidents in the past, the surge in membership this time is said to dwarf past trends.
The source, based on his access to an internal memo prepared by the organization’s membership division, said both the number of individual contributions to the NRA and their average amount have risen significantly in this period.

Amid the uptick, the NRA is planning what it describes as a “major” news conference on Friday. In its first public statement since last week's shooting, issued Tuesday by an aide to NRA President Wayne LaPierre, the organization also conveyed condolences to the murder victims' families and expressed the group's willingness to offer "meaningful contributions to help make sure this never happens again."
"The National Rifle Association of America is made up of four million moms and dads, sons and daughters -- and we were shocked, saddened and heartbroken by the news of the horrific and senseless murders in Newtown," the statement said on Tuesday.

"Out of respect for the families, and as a matter of common decency, we have given time for mourning, prayer and a full investigation of the facts before commenting."
Sources close to the issue had earlier alerted Fox News that the National Rifle Association would soon start to "push back" against gun-control proponents.

At least the NRA had the decency to step aside and allow the families of these victims to mourn before defending our God-given rights.  We can’t say the same for the Maoist gun grabbers in the Democratic Party.
