Delegates Gathering in Indiana to Amend the Constitution

It seems we are reaching a tipping point.  Americans have had enough of the Washington D.C. establishment running roughshod over the U.S. Constitution and our unalienable rights.  People are beginning to recognize that the solution will never come out of Washington D.C.  That town is surrounded by political grafters enriching themselves at taxpayer expense.  Their suburbs have been deemed the richest in the country.

Delegates are scheduled to gather in Indiana for the sole purpose of amending the Constitution:

The June 12-13 gathering of The Mount Vernon Assembly will focus on shaping the rules and procedures for a Convention of the States.

Indiana Senate President David Long tells The Times of Munster that the group won't propose any amendments this time.

Two-thirds of state legislatures must ask Congress to call a Convention of the States to propose amendments. The amendments can be added to the Constitution without congressional approval so long they are ratified by three-fourths of the states.

Thank God the founders included a provision so the States can have an ability to put a check on this abusive government.  They were truly the greatest and wisest generation this country has ever produced.
