N.C. Democrats Purposefully Inflicted Economic Harm Over Bathroom Wars

There is a strong stench of political corruption wafting around North Carolina and it all started when Democrats on the Charlotte City Council passed an asinine bathroom ordinance forcing private businesses and public buildings to an anything goes freak show.  We are now finding out, as many of us suspected, that this stunt was nothing more than an election year ploy.

A proposed compromise would’ve scrapped HB2 and Charlotte’s ordinance.  That didn’t happen.  Democrats wanted the “bathroom wars” for an election year wedge issue. WRAL reported the following:

North Carolina State Representative Becky Carney (D-Mecklenburg) lobbied members of the Charlotte City Council against voting to repeal the city’s non-discrimination ordinance, which would have paved the way for a repeal of the controversial House Bill 2, multiple sources tell On Your Side Investigates.

[...]

A Democratic member of the legislature, who spoke on background to discuss the situation, confirmed Carney tied her opposition to the ordinance’s repeal directly to her desire to keep HB2 on the books so Democrats in close legislative races could use the bill as a wedge issue in November’s election.

Sister Toldjah at independent Journal Review presented a compelling case outlining a statewide Democratic Party plot to inflict economic hardship on the citizens of North Carolina as a means to advance not only their sick ideology, but also political careers including Attorney General Roy Cooper who is running for governor.
