Illegals Raise Mexican Flag Over U.S. Post Office

Remember this when you push one for english.

California Should Get The Same Treatment As Greece

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger praised the Stimulus Bill while calling the GOP a bunch of hypocrites. Many republican governors complained about the amount of federal spending, while at the same time accepting the money to shore up their budget deficits. Fair enough, but does Arnold have to prostitute himself to Washington D.C.?

Schwarzenegger made a dubious claim that the Stimulus Bill created 150,000 jobs in his state. Really? I would like to know what kind of jobs they are, and how long they last after the welfare checks stop coming.

Now, the Governator is back and he needs more money for California’s bloated budget:

"I don't see one state getting a carve-out," Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-Calif., said after meeting with Schwarzenegger and the legislators. Boxer said her aides were exploring whether some of the roughly $50 billion in federal economic stimulus money the state is slated to receive this year for public works and other projects could be used to offset the state deficit.

"The key thing is we get more money for the state of California," Schwarzenegger told reporters. "Not a handout, but money we deserve.

Oh, but it is a hand out. And California is becoming another Greece.

Greece has serious financial problems. They need a bailout from the European Union in order to shore up their bloated budget. The Union finance ministers have given Greece one month to get their house in order, or they will lose control of their taxation and spending policies to a central council; in effect losing their sovereignty. Voting rights will be denied to them. Many Europeans would like to kick Greece out of the Union.

In order to comply with the mandates, Greece has to contend with their public unions. Drastic cuts have to be made, and many do not like it. A confederation of public and private unions, along with farmers, and the communist party have band together in massive strikes. They are clashing with police in downtown Athens.

California has the same kind of problems as Greece. They have a powerful public union that sucks the life blood out of taxpayers. They are governed by corrupt politicians who don’t know how to stop taxing and spending; and the state is infested with a bunch of communist who rule the roost. Is it any wonder that they have insurmountable budget deficits?

I believe we should treat California just like the European Union is treating Greece. If they require any bailouts; their representatives in congress should be frog marched out of the Capitol and sent home. You will not have any voting rights until you get your act together. And when the general election comes time to vote a president into office they would be excluded from the process.

Actually this should apply to any state that receives bailouts.

World Wary Of Coming U.S. Financial Meltdown

Senator Judd Gregg warns of a coming financial meltdown of the U.S. economy. He expects this crisis to hit in 5 to 7 years. The signs are all there. Since Obama took office, the dollar index has plunged 17%.

Several countries including China and Russia are calling for an alternative currency. Dominique Strauss-Kahn, the head of the International Monetary Fund, believes in time that an international currency will replace the U.S. dollar.

The world is apprehensive about the fiscal policies of the democrats. The stimulus package, along with bailouts of businesses, and attempted take over of the health care industry has raised eyebrows from those who buy America's debt.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have received $111 billion in bailouts. That number is expected to increase to $188 billion by the fall of 2011. These two G.S.E.'s own or guarantee 31 million home loans worth $5.5 trillion. Freddie Mac revealed that 4% of their loans are 3 months past due, and could go into foreclosure. Fannie Mae is requesting an additional $15 billion, after reporting losses of $74 billion last year.

The U.S. dollar has been a refuge of certainty for the whole world. It was regarded as a safe investment. It looks like those days are coming to pass. Now will the world believe that the United States is too big to fail? Don't hold your breath.

Rep. Anthony Weiner's Despicable Rant

Rep. Anthony Weiner is a Weener. The guy wouldn't know the truth if it walked up to him and slapped him across the face. Mr. Weener stated that all republicans are owned by the insurance industry. The facts state otherwise.

According to opensecrets.org, out of the 100 top donors in 2010 only 11 favored republicans. Ranking at #68 Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of America donated $711,750 of which 60% went to republicans; 37% to democrats. Out of all the insurance companies that were listed, not one favored republicans.

Anthony Weiner not only distorts the truth, he left out the fact that the insurance industry has donated $63,490 to his campaign coffers over the course of his despicable career.

Mr. Weiner wants competition in the health care industry. What he doesn't come out and say is that he wants the government to be the main competitor. This guy is a statist of the highest order.

The federal government has a questionable history when it competes with private industry. Just look at what happened to Wendell Wilkie and his public utility holding company Commonwealth and Southern. Wilkie was forced to sell C & S holdings to the federal government after losing a number of lawsuits. This made way for the Tennessee Valley Authority.

The New Deal's Public Works Administration also bribed municipalities with direct cash payments. They also offered taxpayers-subsidized rates, which ran private companies out of business.

So, Rep. Anthony Weiner is fooling no one. He is a socialist who uses class envy to gain power over his constituents. He is just another Joe Stalin in the making.

Barack Obama Ignores Plight Of The Iranian People

The Iranian people are rebelling against the theocratic despots known as the Mullahs. The popular uprising is being put down by the Irananian National Guard. And everyone is asking why Barack Obama, the leader of the free world, has not spoken or displayed some semblance of solidarity with these oppressed people.

Barack Obama gave a speech to the people of the Middle East where he condemned the United States for our involvement in the 1953 Iranian coup. He apparently came to this conclusion while smoking pot with the hippies, Marxist, punk performers, and other lowlifes as they were discussing American neo-colonialism.

That speech should have informed everyone that Obama would not help the Iranian people one iota.

If you have talked to anyone on the left, they always use operation AJAX and the C.I.A. as an example of Yankee arrogance and duplicity. Yet, these self-loathing Americans don’t know or refuse to acknowledge that the overthrow of Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh was a popular uprising.

Mohammed Mossadegh became prime minister of Iran in 1951. His meteoric rise came from a coalition of nationalist, Islamist, and communist known as the Tudeh Party. This confederation was belligerent to British oil interest in Iran, and they confiscated their assets. Great Britain responded with a naval blockade.

This international crisis led the Shah to dismiss Mossadegh. However, supporters of the prime minister took to the streets, and the Shah reinstated the Doctor. Mossadegh became increasingly belligerent. He eventually dismissed parliament, called for a national referendum in which he received 99.9% of the vote; a feat reminiscent of Saddam Hussein, and then established emergency powers circumventing the Constitutional Monarchy. The Shah again tried to dismiss Mossadegh, but the prime minister had the messenger arrested. The Shah fled Iran.

Great Britain convinced the United States that Mossadegh was seeking agency with the Soviet Union. Iran whose geographic location overlooks the Straits of Hormuz is a strategic gateway to the Persian Gulf. Eisenhower dispatched a handful of C.I.A. agents under the leadership of Kermit Roosevelt, and a budget of $1million dollars of which only $72,000 was used.

Eventually the blockade along with Mossadegh’s disastrous socialist economic policies, such as collectivist farms, alienated his supporters. Hundreds of thousands of citizens took to the streets, where the army joined them to overthrow Mossadegh.

The Lefties and their American hating confederates would have us believe that a handful of C.I.A agents and $72,000 could overthrow a so-called popularly elected prime minister. That kind of sentiment does not reflect highly on the intelligence of the Iranian people.

Senator Marc Basnight Defends Teaching of Founding Fathers

North Carolina made national news when it revealed that they were changing the history curriculum in high school. It was reported that students would skip the study of our founding fathers and the American civil war; instead they would begin study of the progressive era, which began in the 1870's.

A massive outpour of indignant rage inundated the offices of North Carolina's public officials, prompting Senator Marc Basnight (D) president pro tempore, to write a letter to the state superintendent of public instruction June Atkinson, and state board of Education chairman Bill Harrison. The letter stated the following as reported by the Washington Daily News:

“Any changes the state makes to teaching U.S. History must be an enhancement to what students learn in high school and not downshifting in any way. As a reader of history myself, I think that no one should graduate from high school without a thorough understanding of the Declaration of Independence, the Founding Fathers, the writing of the Constitution, and the personalities involved. Furthermore, it is my belief that only high school students have the capacity to understand complex and awful parts of our nation’s history such as slavery and the Civil War. To exclude the founding of our nation at its early struggles from our high school curriculum would be doing a disservice to our students and teachers alike,” Basnight wrote.

Currently, ninth-grade students take world history, 10th-grade students study civics and economics and 11th-grade students take U.S. history in a survey course that goes back to the nation’s founding.

The proposed changes would provide a year of U.S. history in elementary school and middle school. The high-school civics course includes learning about the nation’s development and foundation. The high-school U.S. history course would begin with 1877, the end of Reconstruction. The years before Reconstruction would have been covered with students in fourth grade, as part of North Carolina history, in fifth grade and in seventh grade, according to the Department of Public Instruction.

“Sadly, students know very little about history as it is,” Basnight wrote. “We should be doubling, maybe even tripling, our efforts and enhancing the course work that is now taught in high school. . . In fact, I would like to see history taught in expanded and unique ways, perhaps as an extracurricular activity outside of the school day if time cannot be found during the regular school hours, even as a means of extra credit. However do not carry on with the thoughts of the changes as presented. U.S. History is too precious and important and must be taught in its entirety during the high school years.”

Kudos to Marc Basnight.

This should get the libtards riled up.

Muslims Accused of Poisoning Food Supply

There are reports circulating that 5 Muslims tried to poison the food supply at Ft. Jackson, a military base in South Carloina. This incident happened last December. Here is an article by CNB:

http://blogs.cbn.com/stakelbeckonterror/archive/2010/02/19/fort-jackson-the-latest.aspx

Erick Stakelbeck
CBN News Terrorism Analyst

Fort Jackson: The Latest

This morning, I spoke to Army CID spokesman Christopher Gray and learned more details about a possible poisoning plot that I first reported here yesterday after CBN confirmed with Patrick Jones of Fort Jackson's Public Affairs Office and a reliable source with intimate knowledge of the investigation. Here is the latest on what we do know.

According to Gray, the Army is investigating allegations that a group of soldiers from the 09 Lima program (more on that later in this post) at Fort Jackson--which is based in South Carolina--had talked about poisoning food in the base's mess hall. The men were questioned about two months ago, around Christmas. Gray said that to protect the integrity of the investigation, he could not comment further. He stressed that the investigation is "open and continuing."

CBN News also spoke to a Department of Homeland Security official with knowledge of the investigation who wished to remain anonymous. The official confirmed that the investigation was ongoing and said that someone in the Lima 09 program overheard five Muslim colleagues talking about poisoning food at the base. The person then reported the men, who were brought in for questioning.

The DHS official stressed that after the terrorist massacre at Fort Hood, the Army is taking a zero tolerance policy towards any potential threatening statements and is now extremely sensitive about any allegations in that regard.

Terrorism expert Patrick Poole, an anti-terrorism consultant for the U.S. military and law enforcement, told CBN News that "if this incident had become public in late December while the military was still working on the Ft. Hood report it would have no doubt been catastrophic. What exactly happened at Ft. Jackson and why is this only coming out now? That's a question that Congress should be asking. "

"As noted in the Washington Times last month," Poole continued. "My colleagues and I have been warning of jihadist threats - both external and internal - for several years. The Pentagon has entirely ignored us and the Ft. Hood report released last month is evidence of the culture of willful blindness that wants to pretend this threat doesn't exist. Regardless of how the Ft. Jackson incident is resolved, it demonstrates that this threat is not going away."

I spoke today to Army spokesman Christopher Garver, who said the five men are not currently in custody. He was unclear whether the men who were questioned were U.S.citizens. And that brings us to another interesting wrinkle to this story.

According to my colleague, CBN Military Correspondent Chuck Holton, the 09 Lima program, which these men are a part of:

...is specifically geared towards non-US citizens who bring to the table one very in-demand skill - the ability to speak fluent Arabic, Dari, Pashto, or some other needed language. But these recruits also have a handicap - their grasp of the English language is not sufficient to allow them to make it through basic training. So the 09 Lima program puts them through a sort of pre-basic basic, where they learn American culture, Army culture and work on their English language skills. Once they finish the course, they are then able to enter normal basic training. It' is a very small program, with something less than forty recruits in each class.

Holton continues:

Here's the interesting part. According to Lt. Col. Frank Demith, these recruits are offered an "expedited citizenship program, once they serve one day of honorable active duty."

Military service has always been a way for non-citizen US residents to obtain citizenship, and thousands have performed honorably in service to our country before it actually became their country.

Though the Army must certainly have a thorough vetting process in place to try and avoid a scenario like that described by Erick Stakelbeck's recent blog, in the case of the 09 Lima program, the ability to receive "expedited American citizenship" must present a tempting opportunity for jihadi extremists with ulterior motives.

This is relevant not only because of the Fort Hood case, but because in the last month, there was an incident (see here) of an interpreter in Afghanistan murdering U.S. troops.

Greece Loses E.U. Voting Rights

This is what needs to happen if California gets a bailout.

As reported by the U.K. Telegraph: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/financetopics/financialcrisis/7252288/Greece-loses-EU-voting-power-in-blow-to-sovereignty.html

The council of EU finance ministers said Athens must comply with austerity demands by March 16 or lose control over its own tax and spend policies altogether. It if fails to do so, the EU will itself impose cuts under the draconian Article 126.9 of the Lisbon Treaty in what would amount to economic suzerainty.

While the symbolic move to suspend Greece of its voting rights at one meeting makes no practical difference, it marks a constitutional watershed and represents a crushing loss of sovereignty.

"We certainly won't let them off the hook," said Austria's finance minister, Josef Proll, echoing views shared by colleagues in Northern Europe. Some German officials have called for Greece to be denied a vote in all EU matter until it emerges from "receivership".

The EU has still refused to reveal details of how it might help Greece raise €30bn (£26bn) from global debt markets by the end of June. Investors are unsure whether this is part of Kabuki play of "constructive ambiguity" to pressure Greece and keep markets guessing, or reflects the deep reluctance by Germany to be drawn deeper in an EU fiscal union. Greek bonds sold off as ten-year yields jumped to 6.42pc, but the euro rallied to $1.3765 against the dollar as broader issues resurfaced in currency markets.

Jean-Claude Juncker, head of the Eurogroup, hinted that ministers have already agreed on a support mechanism, should it be necessary. It will most likely involve by bilateral aid by eurozone states. He said proposals for an IMF bailout - backed by Britain - were "absurd" and would shatter the credibility of monetary union.

Many Germans disagree, including Otmar Issing, once the backbone of the European Central Bank. He said an EU rescue for Greece would be fatal, arguing that unflinching rigour is the only way to hold monetary union together without political union.

Tuesday's EU verdict amounted to a thumbs down on Greece's earlier austerity efforts, viewed as too reliant on one-off measures and too light on spending cuts. Greece must reduce its deficit from 12.7pc of GDP to 3pc in three years. Greek customs officials expressed their anger by kicking off a three-day strike, the first of many stoppages set to culminate in a general strike next week.

However, premier George Papandreou has won support from key political parties and a majority of the people. Greece may yet surprise critics by mustering its Spartan Spirit.

Liberals Calling For Violence Against Republicans

CNN, Huffington Post Urge Violence Against Republicans by Kristinn Taylor

Two of the most popular liberal news sites are calling for violence against Republicans for obstructing the radical agenda of President Barack Obama.

CNN and Huffington Post have each published op-eds this past week by regular contributors with headlines that explicitly call for Obama to use violent gangland tactics against his political opponents.

CNN published a column by Roland Martin on February 11 with the headline, Time for Obama to go ‘gangsta’ on GOP.

Martin concluded the article with a plea for Obama to emulate the violent tactics of the Prohibition-era Chicago mob boss Al Capone.

Obama’s critics keep blasting him for Chicago-style politics. So, fine. Channel your inner Al Capone and go gangsta against your foes. Let ‘em know that if they aren’t with you, they are against you, and will pay the price.

The Huffington Post followed-up with their own call for gangland violence against Republicans with the publication on February 14 of a column by David Bourgeois with the title, Obama Better Start Breaking Kneecaps.

Bourgeois concludes his article with this call for gangland violence.

You’ve given it your best shot, you’ve tried numerous times to talk with the Republicans, to negotiate, to meet them halfway on every single matter before the American people. But they hate you for many reasons. It’s time you break kneecaps (bold in original). It’s time to destroy the Republican Party. They don’t deserve a seat at the table when all they want to do is score political points by being the Party of No.

In case the message wasn’t clear, Huffington Post illustrated the call to violence with a wooden baseball bat with Obama’s first name on it in large letters.

Huffington Post publisher Arianna Huffington recently excoriated Fox News chief Roger Ailes for allegedly provocative rhetoric by Fox host Glenn Beck.

HUFFINGTON: Well, Roger, it’s not a question of picking a fight. And aren’t you concerned about the language that Glenn Beck is using, which is, after all, inciting the American people? There is a lot of suffering out there, as you know, and when he talks about people being slaughtered, about who is going to be the next in the killing spree…

…It’s not about the word police. It’s about something deeper. It’s about the fact that there is a tradition as the historian Richard Hofstetter said, in American politics, of the paranoid style. And the paranoid style is dangerous when there is real pain out there.

Ailes defended Beck, saying he was accurately talking about the governments of Hitler and Stalin.

Violent rhetoric such as that espoused by CNN and the Huffington Post is usually found in the bowels of Internet discussion forums, not as sanctioned op-ed headlines on news sites with White House press passes.

CNN and Huffington Post would be well-advised to retract the calls to violence and issue apologies to Republicans before Obama supporters are incited by their violent rhetoric and start going gangsta and break kneecaps of Republicans.

If they won’t do that of their own volition, then White House press secretary Robert Gibbs should shame them into doing so. Surely the Obama administration does not countenance violence against their domestic political opponents.

GOP Meets With Tea Partiers

The Republican National Committee Chairman, Michael Steele is meeting with a group of tea party representatives. He is meeting with these grassroots activist to listen to their grievances that have come to the boiling point over the past year.

Karin Hoffman, founder of DC Works for Us, organized the event in which approximately 50 participants arrived at the Capitol. Others refused to attend for fear that the GOP might try and co-opt the movement.

Steele addressed the crowd:

“I thank members of the Tea Party movement and other concerned citizens for putting together this meeting and taking the time to speak with me,” he added. “We share a common purpose in stopping President Obama’s agenda and standing up for principles such as smaller government, lower taxes, free enterprise, and the Constitution. Moving into the midterm elections this fall, I look forward to continuing to build on this discussion and to work to elect officials who will fight to protect the principles which they and a majority of Americans support.”Read more: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0210/33056.html#ixzz0flTIGnfU

Apparently, the GOP is concerned that the activist might try and undermine republican incumbents or the party bosses favorite pick in the primaries. New York's 23rd district comes to mind when the powers that be picked Dede Scozzafava, and party leaders such as Newt Gingrich endorsed her. It led to an uproar. Eventually Scozzafava quit and then backed the democratic nominee, who ended up winning. What an embarrassment.

The problem with the GOP is that they will make compromises just to win. That's why they are riddled with RINO's: Arlen Specter, Lincoln Chafee, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, Richard Burr, Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Mel Martinez, etc...etc...

Some of these scoundrels jumped to the other party; others flirted with it. But for the most part they just leech off of the coffers, making all sorts of promises to conservatives during election time then stab them in the back after they get re-elected.

Senator Richard Burr is a McCain acolyte. During the amnesty cloture vote, Burr's office was inundated with calls and emails begging him not to vote for it. He wet his finger and put it in the air to see how the political winds would blow, before he finally voted against it. It should have been a no brainer.

So if Chairman Steele believes he can co-opt this movement; he's got another think coming.

Disgraced Professor Admits No Man-Made Global Warming

The Climategate earthquake is tearing down the anthropogenic global warming village. The foundation of their church lays in ruins. It will be just a matter of time before the lefties set up a “We Are The World Fund” so as to rescue their Gods. Haiti might have some competition for funds.

Professor Phil Jones of the University of East Anglia climate change unit just admitted that there has been no significant warming since 1995. Mr. Jones also admitted that he lost track of the data for the infamous “hockey stick” graph. Many skeptics had requested this information and were continually rebuffed. Professor Jones denies any shenanigans.

The professor also concedes on the medieval warming period reported in the Telegraph:

In an interview for the BBC's website, Professor Jones also conceded that global temperatures may have been higher during the medieval warm period than they are now – suggesting that climate change may not be caused by human activity.

This is so sweet. I can’t help but smile. Maybe we can get some of our tax dollars back from these fraudulent schemers.

Lessons To Learn From Greece

Greece’s financial woes should be a lesson to everyone. Instead of heeding the warnings of a meltdown in the European Union, the politicians in the United States are on an unprecedented spending spree. Government at the federal, state, and local levels expanded an astonishing 66% in just one year.

Greece has to make austere cuts in their budgets and the public sector employees are raising holy hell. Farmers who want more in subsidies have also joined the strikers.

The communist party once banned is now on the rise. They are capitalizing on the plight of government workers:

"It's a war against workers and we will answer with war, with constant struggles until this policy is overturned," Christos Katsiotis, a representative of a communist-party affiliated union, told the Associated Press.

Services are suspended such as non-essential health care as reported by the Guardian:

Non-urgent hospital appointments have been cancelled, and schools across Greece will remain closed. Air traffic control staff are also taking part in the dispute, meaning flights in and out of the country will be heavily disrupted. Greece's largest airline, Aegean, has suspended all its services, while British Airways has cancelled three scheduled flights from Heathrow to Athens.

Yeah we really want government health care when this can happen.

Without a responsible fiscal policy, Greece could get kicked out of the European Union. A Poll shows that 67% of Germans are against bailing them out.

This should be a lesson to all of the Keynesians on Capitol Hill. If you think China is going to put up with all your profligate spending and keep on buying our debt; you had better pay attention to what is happening over in Greece.

Stimulus Bill Pays For Foreign Green Jobs

It seems that most of the Stimulus money that was to pay for "green jobs" went overseas. I hope Congressman Larry Kissell reads this. But first a little excerpt from his JOBS brochure:

Putting Amerians back to work is Congressman Kissell's first priority. Kissell believes small businesses and 'green' manufacturing can put us back on track.

It looks like 'green' manufacturing did put people to work...mostly in foreign countries. Here is the article, courtesy of Newsmax.

By: John Rossomando

Although Barack Obama and other Democrats touted the $787 billion stimulus package as a way to create green jobs that would put Americans back to work, new reports show the spending package has mostly created green jobs for foreign workers.

U.S. Department of Energy statistics show 79 percent of the $2.1 billion in stimulus money allocated for wind energy has been paid to foreign manufacturers. The Spanish company Iberdrola has received $443 million; the Portuguese company EDP has received $229 million; and the British company Terra Firma, which bought a large wind farm in western Pennsylvania, received $42 million.

Analysts worry the stimulus funds will also help create manufacturing jobs in China, and a Texas consortium’s plans to build a wind farm that primarily will rely on Chinese-made turbines using $450 million in stimulus money underscores this fear A report from the Investigative Reporting Workshop at American University found 80 percent of the stimulus money had created 6,000 jobs, and only a small percentage of those jobs went to American workers.

Only two American companies ̶ General Electric Energy and Clipper Wind ̶ are major wind turbine manufacturers, and the American Wind Energy Associations has said the United States saw a drop in the number of wind turbine manufacturing jobs last year.

Congressman Larry Kissell's Fascistic Musings

Fascism is a philosophy or system of government that advocates or exercises dictatorship, through the merging of state and business leadership often with a belligerent nationalism.

I don't know about belligerent nationalism. There are quite a few self-loathing Americans on Capitol Hill; so we can discount that. But there are quite a few politicians who are eager to merge the state and business interest together.

Congressman Larry Kissell just recently bragged about securing $49 million in grants to Celgard, a maker of components for electric car batteries. As quoted on his legislative update:

"Celgard's expansion and this new green job training is the type of help the RECOVERY ACT was meant to bring and why I'm proud I supported it. Cooperation at levels of government, along with private enterprise, is what will fuel our economic recovery." - Rep. Larry Kissell

I don't know if Congressman Kissell displays belligerent nationalism; but he sure does believe in merging the state with business interest. His advocacy for "Green Jobs" is disconcerting. It implies that he believes in this fraud called global warming.

Mr. Kissell is extorting money from the American taxpayers to pay for his special pet projects. How many businesses have to cut back, and lay people off because of burdensome federal regulations, and rapacious taxes. Meanwhile Celgard is getting special dispensation. If Celgard had a worthwhile product that is in demand, they wouldn't need federal grants. We are just shoving more money down a rat hole.

Congressman Kissell voted to infuse $75 billion in TARP money to pay for highways, school renovations, hiring teachers, police and firefighters while providing funding for small businesses, job training and affordable housing.

Tarp money was not designed for that. If anything it should have been used to pay down the debt, or returned to the taxpayers.

Government has grown 66% at the federal, state, and local levels just in the past year. The biggest growing sector today are government jobs. Today, government workers make more than those in the private sector. We have more people riding in the cart, than those who are pulling it. And Congressman Larry Kissell is cracking the whip.

I don't know what these people in Washington D.C. are thinking. Apparently, they can spend like crazy without any consequences. Maybe they should turn on the news and take a look at what is happening over in Greece.

Climate Change Comes To Washington D.C.

Washington D.C. is snowed in. Thank God! The longer these fools are away from the halls of congress, the longer we keep our freedom.

You can't help but smile at the irony. Where is all this global warming I've heard about for the past 20 years? I guess we shouldn't hold our breath for a press conference from the distinguished Nobel laureate: Al Gore. He's probably face down in a cheeseburger somewhere.

What is really funny is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is opening a new office. They are to provide "climate change" information to the powers that be; who will then dictate policy to We The Plebeians.

The NOAA had to make their inaugural press conference via telephone, instead of at the National Press Club:

“More and more, Americans are witnessing the impacts of climate change in their own backyards, including sea-level rise, longer growing seasons, changes in river flows, increases in heavy downpours, earlier snow melt and extended ice-free seasons in our waters. People are searching for relevant and timely information about these changes to inform decision-making about virtually all aspects of their lives,” the release says.

I seriously doubt all of the NOAA's assertions, but they definitely are witnessing the impact of about 40" in their backyard. It's called snow. By the way whatever happened to the phrase global warming? And I've no doubt that they are hoping for an "earlier snow melt".

But, says NOAA spokesman Justin Kenney, they’re happy to have a chance to educate people about the difference between the climate and the weather.

Well, Mr. Justin Kenney, while you're educating us moron's; why don't you pick up a shovel and earn those wasted tax dollars.

John Murtha Dead At Age 77

I was surprised to learn of the passing of Congressman John Murtha. I didn't agree with him politically, and I will not speak ill of the dead. My sympathies to his family; his friends; and to the Haditha Marines.

State Nullification

The wheels are beginning to turn. States are beginning to stand up and defend themselves from the abuses and bullying of the federal government.

South Carolina just introduced a bill in the general assembly to thwart the Interstate Commerce Clause. House Bill 4509 states the following:

“no public official of any jurisdiction may require registration of purchasers of firearms or ammunition within the boundaries of this State."

That means Butt Out to the feds. Montana and Tennessee have already passed a similar bill in 2009. There are 22 other states that are considering a similar bill known around the country as the "Firearms Freedom Act."

Since the days of FDR we have endured the intrusions of the feds, particularly through the creative machinations of politicians and jurist, who used the Interstate Commerce Clause to impose their progressive ideologue.

The 10th amendment is in ascendancy; and state nullification will put the federal government back in its place.

Our founding fathers new a thing or two about state nullification:

In the Kentucky Resolutions of 1798, Thomas Jefferson wrote in response to the hated Alien and Sedition Acts:

“The several states composing the United States of America are not united on the principle of unlimited submission to their general government”

and

“where powers are assumed [by the federal government] which have not been delegated, a nullification of the act is the rightful remedy: that every State has a natural right in cases not within the compact, to nullify of their own authority all assumptions of power by others within their limits: that without this right, they would be under the dominion, absolute and unlimited, of whosoever might exercise this right of judgment for them”

Now juxtapose that with South Carolina's H4509:

Federal agents have flouted the United States Constitution and forsworn their oath to support this Constitution by requiring registration of the purchasers of firearms and ammunition, and these requirements violate the limits of authority placed upon the federal agents by the United States Constitution and are dangerous to the liberties of the people

(B) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no public official of any jurisdiction may require registration of purchasers of firearms or ammunition within the boundaries of this State.

(C) Any person violating the provisions of this subsection (B) is guilty of a felony and upon conviction must be punished by a fine not exceeding five thousand dollars, or a term of imprisonment not exceeding five years, or both.

Congratulations to South Carolina, I hope your bill passes. I can only wish that North Carolina would follow your lead.

Hayek vs. Keynes Rap

I don't like rap, but this one is pretty good.

Senator Kay Hagan's Disturbing Economic Philosophy

Senator Kay Hagan gave an interview with the Kernersville News in which she articulated her economic philosophy. Folks it is very disturbing.

Senator Hagan bemoaned the uncertainty of the democrat’s health care legislation. She believes that the public is misinformed on the specifics of the bill:

"One misconception about healthcare is that people are concerned about the cost and the debt. I want to assure people that the cost that was identified, the increases were paid for," Hagan said.

"This was a piece of legislation where anything we put in was paid for by insurance companies, pharmaceuticals or levies. What we put in place would affect the debt in a long-term, positive way. We would see a $132 billion reduction in deficit over the first 10 years and a $1.3 trillion reduction in the 10 years after that."

Notice that she plans on paying for this monstrosity by demonizing and extorting money from targeted industries. I believe Senator Hagan is a student of Saul Alinsky.

She omitted how they really plan on paying for socialized health care, as stated here in The Hill:

“CBO Director Doug Elmendorf presented Reid with this preliminary cost estimate in a letter Saturday. Those costs are more than offset during the 10-year budget period by $483 billion worth of spending reductions in Medicare and $614 billion generated from an excise tax on high-cost health insurance plans, taxes on healthcare companies, penalty fees paid by employers who fail to offer insurance coverage and individuals who fail to purchase it and other tax effects of the bill.

The bill would require nearly all legal U.S. residents to obtain health coverage, extend Medicaid benefits to everyone earning up to 133 percent of the federal poverty level and provide subsidies on a sliding scale to people earning between 133 percent and 400 percent of the federal poverty level.”

So Senator Kay Hagan not only extorts money from companies; but those who fail to purchase or offer health insurance are to be penalized to the full extent of the law. That means insurance is mandatory for everyone. I would like to know where in the Constitution; Senator Kay Hagan gets the authority to fine, and throw people in jail for not buying a product.

The Congressional Budget Office also says this about the assertions of Senator Hagan:

“As the budget office has throughout the year, it emphasizes that this will only occur if Congress allows those cuts and tax hikes to take full effect and expresses skepticism that they will. “These longer-term calculations assume that the provisions are enacted and remain unchanged throughout the next two decades, which is often not the case for major legislation,” the letter says.”

We all know the outcome of that.

Senator Hagan gave special exemptions for small businesses. They are to receive a sliding scale depending on the number of employees. They also are to receive a handsome tax credit for joining a STATE EXCHANGE:

“Tax-exempt small businesses meeting these requirements are eligible for tax credits of up to 25 percent of their contribution. In 2014 and beyond, eligible employers who purchase coverage through the State Exchange can receive a tax credit for two years of up to 50 percent of their contribution. Tax-exempt small businesses meeting these requirements are eligible for tax credits of up to 35 percent of their contribution.”

She just can’t wait to get people into the “system”. If you have doubts that Senator Kay Hagan isn't a statist, then you are not paying attention. This woman wants to dictate how businesses operate and how people shall live.

Again, in her interview with the Kernersville News, she states that she is fiscally conservative, because she was chairman of the state budget and had to balance the budget every year; that meant accounting for every dollar. Well of course you did! But there is one big difference from North Carolina’s state capitol and Washington D.C.: YOU DIDN’T HAVE A PRINTING PRESS IN THE BASEMENT.

Senator Hagan remarks on the debt ceiling that was raised:

"You have to put the bill calling for an increase in our debt ceiling into perspective," Hagan said. "It's like putting something on a credit card and having to pay that off.

Increasing the debt ceiling is not authorizing new spending; it is ensuring we have the capacity to pay for things we have already spent money on.”

Wow! She’s right...it is not authorizing new spending. It is paying for all the crap you guys doled out the past year. And you’re going to have to raise it again in the fall. Unbelievable!

I say it’s time to take the credit card away from this spoiled brat. I wonder if she would have spent her $17 million in assets like she’s doing with the taxpayer’s money. That answer should be self-evident; otherwise she would be a pauper.

Senator Kay Hagan is a perfect example why we need to repeal the 17th amendment. Or at least have North Carolina pass a law to recall her.

North Carolina Educators Snub Founding Fathers

The North Carolina’s state board of education is considering a change to the history curriculum for high school students. Instead of studying our founding fathers, and the causation of the war of northern aggression; they have proposed to jump straight to the presidency of Rutherford B. Hayes, whose presidency was 1877-1881.

Now this is an interesting period to begin teaching students; it is the beginning of the progressive era.

The first political science programs started at Columbia and John Hopkins. The biggest progressive of them all, Woodrow Wilson, matriculated at John Hopkins in 1883. But Wilson showed a disdain for our founding fathers as early as 1879 when he wrote a series of essays calling for an adoption of a parliamentary system of governance. In 1891 he provided a list of essential books for students; and not one of them was about the founding of our country; not even the Federalist Papers were recommended.

The Progressives have a disdain for the Constitution of the United States, and of The Declaration of Independence. They believe that our founding documents are restrictive and applicable only to that time. They don’t even believe in the American Creed that we “hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights.”

The Progressives believe that men are not created equal. They started the eugenics movement at the beginning of the 20th century; and the ideology persists to this day with Planned Parenthood. They do not believe that God confers rights upon men; rather those rights are endowed by the government.

The Progressives believe in social Darwinism; that we are constantly evolving and that the laws should reflect the times.

The Constitution stops them, and the only way they can get around it with out starting a revolution is to not educate our young people about the founding.

The current form of government we have now is a fraud. The Progressives have planted pod people that swear an oath to uphold and defend our Constitution, and violate it every chance they get. This is not the Constitution of our founders; rather, it is a Germanic form of government that has infested the host, and has now taken over

Canadian Premier Risk Life in U.S. health industry

It seems that the vaunted Canadian health care system isn't living up to its advertisement. Danny Williams the Canadian Premier of Newfoundland and Labrador has scheduled heart surgery in the United States. He arrived sometime today.

Canadian officials are dumbstruck as to why Mr. Williams would forgo the outstanding, free services in the great white north, and check himself into the rapacious U.S. health care industry. After all, isn't he aware that some greedy doctor might cut off a foot; tonsils; or some other appendage, so that he can make a mortgage payment?

Why didn't our fearless leader, Barack Obama stop Mr. Williams from making such a drastic mistake? Didn't the Premier heed his warnings? Did he not see even one of Obama's 425 speeches?

The Deputy Premier Kathy Dunderdale was at a loss for the Premiers lapse of sanity. "Ultimately we have to be the gatekeepers of our own health." she cried.

God help the Premier.

NYC "No KSM In Our Backyard"

The Obama administration decided not to try KSM in New York City. Is anybody surprised by this? My question is: where was the outrage a year ago?

An election in Massachusetts took the blinders off of the ideologues. The first to figure it out was New York City’s Mayor McSalt Shaker; then the rest of the rats scampered. The biggest, sh**house rat -- Chucky Cheese Schumer -- led the lemmings from the flaming stench. Obama was left behind, to stomp out the bag on the front porch. What a fiasco.

When 9/11 happened Chuck Schumer was dedicated to military tribunals. He made an impassioned plea that those responsible for the attacks on our homeland, should not be given the rights of civilians; but rather, be treated as enemy combatants. Here is the transcript from a judicial hearing:

There are also those prisoners of war who we have captured and will capture in Afghanistan and other countries who will receive a trial of some sort. It is clear we need to try those suspects in a forum that achieves two primary goals—two goals, I might add, that may not conflict. First, the Government must have the power to use even the most sensitive classified evidence against these suspects without compromising national security in any way, shape, or form. In addition, those who commit acts of war against the United States, particularly those who have no color of citizenship, don’t deserve the same panoply of due process rights that American citizens receive. Should Osama bin Laden be captured alive—and I imagine most Americans hope he won’t be captured alive. But if he is, it is ludicrous to suggest he should be tried in a Federal court on Center Street in Lower Manhattan

It took Chucky only one election cycle to change his mind; and confer constitutional privileges onto foreign terrorist. This is an unprincipled man who has no honor.

Now, let’s look at those who have kept Chucky in power.

New Yorkers are not upset that terrorist are given civilian trials. They don’t mind that constitutional rights and privileges are being conferred upon enemies, who would just as soon slit their throats. No…this is their concern, as quoted from the Washington Examiner:

“New Yorkers aren’t stupid,” said Hank Sheinkopf, a Democratic political consultant who advised Bill Clinton in 1996, and worked for Mayor Bloomberg’s 2009 reelection bid.

“Wall Street is being attacked by Obama, which means New York jobs are being attacked,” he said. “And putting the terrorist trial in NYC when it could be held any other place in the country is another form of attack. They could have put it in Montana.”

Oh yeah, and this:

The trial would create a “fortress-like perimeter” that “will deter many visitors from shopping in the area,” said Democratic Rep. Nydia Velázquez, whose district includes parts of lower Manhattan, in a letter to Attorney General Eric Holder asking that the trial be moved.

So New Yorkers don’t want to be inconvenienced, or have to pay for anything. It’s alright if Montana gets screwed, or for that fact anybody else; just as long as it’s not them.

Gitmo can handle these trials with the minimum amount of cost and inconvenience. But New Yorkers want to make sure these poor unfortunates get a “fair” trial. After all, we don't want to diminish our standing in the world, for we really care what they think.

Well how fair of a trial are they going to get, when the Obama guaranteed a conviction? How is the rest of the world supposed to take that?

If you want to sing “We are the World” do it on your own damn dime.
