Anarchist, communist, and illegal aliens celebrated the annual workers of the world holiday. May Day has an American origin, but was roundly denounced throughout the country; others embraced it, such as the old Soviet Union.
May 1st 1886, workers in Chicago demonstrated in the streets. They were demanding an eight hour work day. Most of the protestors were immigrants. Many of them were anarchist and Marxist adherents. When the protest was winding down, the police ordered the crowd to disperse. A bomb was then thrown amongst them, killing seven officers and maiming many others. The incident is known as the Haymarket riot.
The origin of this holiday was conceived in defiance of the law. It’s birth that of blood; and its maturation is Marxism. Communism recognizes no borders. Is it any wonder why illegals and their fellow anarchist have chosen this day to march?
Public officials, such as the Mayor of Los Angeles, are calling for an open borders policy. They believe the enforcement of our immigration laws is unpatriotic and unconstitutional. He believes that foreign nationals have a HUMAN RIGHT to reside in the United States, and have access to tax payer funded services without fear of reprisal.
Are we or are we not a nation of laws? Unfortunately there are forces within this country that are determined to undermine the principles and foundations that our ancestors have so dearly paid for in blood and treasure.
In 1958 President Eisenhower declared May Day as Law Day, in celebration of the country’s founding documents and the Bill of Rights. This was in defiance to the Soviet Union and its designs of world wide communism. Now we have people marching in the streets in solidarity with the very ideologue that is in direct conflict with American way of life.
