Gringo Mask for Illegals

A Miami, Florida advertising company is promoting a whitey mask for Hispanics in protest over the Arizona illegal immigration law. The owners of the firm believe that enforcing our immigration laws is absurd and that anyone with a pair of legs should be able to cross over our border; dig a hole; squat over our soil and defecate; then call it their home.

Michelle Zubizarreta the executive of Zubi Advertising stated:

"What caught our attention was the absurdity of this law, and the notion that we all must look a certain way," continues the Cuban-American executive. "Once we talked about it, my creative team came back with the idea of the mask and the website.

Hey Michelle, while you're at it, why don't you provide them with social security numbers from American citizens so your compatriots can get gainful employment. Oh and lets not forget all of the goodies that can be finagled from the taxpayers. Isn't screwing the citizens of this country fun?

I have an even better idea. Why don't you provide a Hispanic mask for the Gringos who want to visit that pastel hell hole called Miami. And with the mask why don't you provide an English to Spanish translation dictionary so we can converse with the "indigenous" population.

Of course the Gringo mask was a satirical attempt and not a commercial endeavor:

To take part in this satire, the public was invited to go to gringomask.com, choose a mask, download it, print it, cut it, put an elastic band around it and ... bingo! New face, new immigration status! The mask has since been removed from the website. In its place is a note of thanks. "GringoMask was not a commercial product or intended to be a long term project, but a piece of satire to promote discussion and thought," reads the note, in part."The spirit in which we conceived Gringo Mask," adds Zubizarreta, "was not to offend anyone. We wanted to start a dialogue."

I have news for you Michelle, your attitude towards the laws of our land is offensive. It is obvious that you hold a higher regard to your ethnicity than you do to your American citizenship.
