John McCain handily defeated challenger J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona republican primary. The incumbent spent $20 million on his campaign, convincing Arizonans that he is no longer a "maverick" and will not impose his McAmnesty plans on his constituents. Fox News Reports:
With 97 percent of the precincts reporting early Wednesday morning, McCain led Hayworth 56 percent to 32 percent.
"I have never and will never take your support for granted, or feel I am entitled to your trust without earning it," he said.
McCain is heavily favored to win in November.
This is one of the reasons I no longer support the Republican Party. How long will it be before McCain stabs us in the back? He and his toadie, Lindsey Graham, are laughing at the suckers who are about to put him back in office, again.
