NC Congressional Delegations Vote on Fiscal Cliff

 Here is an account of the North Carolina congressional delegations vote on the disaster known as the fiscal cliff.  Our two so-called senators voted for this Grecian formula, while the House members basically voted along party lines except for three.

 Voting against H.R. 8 on Tuesday night were:

·         Renee Ellmers, Republican, 2^nd District

·         Walter Jones Jr., Republican, 3^rd District

·         Virginia Foxx, Republican, 5^th District

·         Mike McIntyre, Democrat, 7^th District

·         Sue Myrick, Republican, 9^th District

·         Patrick McHenry, Republican, 10^th District

·         Brad Miller, Democrat, 13^th District

·          

Voting for H.R. 8 on Tuesday were:

·         G.K. Butterfield Jr., Democrat, 1^st District

·         David Price, Democrat, 4^th District

·         Howard Coble, Republican, 6^th District

·         Larry Kissell, Democrat, 8^th District

·         Heath Shuler, Democrat, 11^th District

·         Mel Watt, Democrat, 12^th District

I want to congratulate those who voted against this abomination.  Generational theft is nothing to be proud of.
