Obama has accomplished what many of us thought could
never happen: France has surpassed the United
States as a greater to threat to Al-Qaeda.
Dubai (AFP) - The ideological leader of Yemen-based Al-Qaeda in
the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) said Friday that France had surpassed the United
States as the top enemy of Islam.
With the "weakening" of the United States in recent
years, France has replaced America in the "war on Islam," Ibrahim
al-Rubaish said in an audio message published by AQAP's media arm on YouTube.
The running joke, for as long as I can remember, is
the French will hoist the white flag in a heartbeat. Of course, this is all B.S. The number of
Frenchmen killed defending their country in WWI is astonishing. Still, any American worth his salt should be
irked at our new status.
