Rep. Robert Pittenger has, once again, shown himself to be a hypocrite and a liar. This man voted to raise the debt ceiling by adding an additional $80 billion through September 17, 2017. He also passed a budget that funded all of Barack Obama’s policies and executive orders, including Obamacare. Yet, this so-called representative of the 9th Congressional District of North Carolina had the audacity to brag about a nothing piece of legislation while our insurance premiums have skyrocketed and our policies rendered worthless with outrageous deductibles.
“Constituents sent me to Washington to undo the
broken promises of Obamacare. One of my first pieces of legislation was a
repeal of Obamacare’s Auto-Enroll provision, which forces businesses to enroll
employees in the company health plan, whether or not they want it or need
it. The repeal of this provision was included in the budget deal, and
will help protect American jobs.”
