Liberals Suppress Logic on Voter ID and Early Voting

Liberals are amusing.  They’ll argue on a subject with a righteous certainty and indignation without understanding the topic at hand.  One only has to read the comments section in the News and Observer to get a taste of their twisted logic.

The subject, once again, was voter ID and early voting.  Liberals believe requiring an ID and limiting the number of days is suppression.  Here is a short blurb on how that conversation went.

The liberal Dumbocrats would have people voting at the mall 7 days a week if they thought they could gain some illegal votes! There are implications to added voting days of cost and personnel, none of which is a right, but added onto again and again! It's called ELECTION DAY for a reason folks!

TomE: No, what is happening is conservaturds are throwing roadblocks in the way of legal voters. There is nothing sacred about the second Tuesday in November. Why ban Sunday voting? I'l give you a hint, bigot- Souls to the polls!

Tom Eller Here's the part that YOU do not understand. In 1792, federal law permitted each state to conduct presidential elections in the state (i.e., to choose their electors) at any time in a 34-day period before the first Wednesday of December, which was the day set for the meeting of the electors of the U.S. president and vice-president (the Electoral College), in their respective states. In 1845 the 34 day period was reduced to 29 days, making November 2 the earliest and November 8 the latest day for us to cast our own votes. So, ELECTION DAY is actually the first Wednesday in December. The individual states can have as many days as they wish to allow citizens to vote before the appropriate Tuesday in November. Of course, if you were home schooled, or only listen to FOX or Rush, or only read Brietbart or Drudge, you might not be aware of some aspects of American History, or of our Constitution.

Aside from all that, the GOP in NC is most certainly attempting voter suppression and by now are making no bones about it.They must be scared sh*tless

So, we have a genius from the University of Virginia lecturing North Carolinians on the Electoral College, which no one was discussing, yet conceding that individual states can determine the time frame citizens are allowed to vote. But of course, according to Paul Maxwell, republicans are uneducated, racist pigs trying to suppress the vote.
