Alvin Greene the Mystery Man

South Carolina democrats voted Alvin Greene as their U.S. Senate nominee. Many are wondering how Mr. Greene won the nomination, including Rep. James Clyburn:

"Here is Alvin Greene, unemployed, he goes into the Democratic headquarters and pays $10,000. That's no little bit of money for an unemployed person," House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, D-S.C., said. "This guy, who is he? Where did he come from?"

Where did he come from? You don't know Mr. Clyburn? How is it that your party and those of you who voted in the democratic primary have no clue as to who this guy is? Better yet, where is the sycophant media that slavishly kisses your party's ass? Doesn't this remind you of another Democratic candidate that nobody vetted? A candidate that currently resides in the White House?

Alvin Greene is not only unemployed, but was charged with a felony for showing pornographic images to a college student. Rep Clyburn is calling for an investigation:

"There are a number of things that are taking place in the South Carolina political process that I find suspicious," Clyburn said. "I believe there's a coordinated effort to circumvent state and federal laws and seriously subvert the electoral process. Something needs to be done."

Since when does federal and state laws matter to you, Mr. Clyburn. You and your co-horts are constantly circumventing the laws. Alcee Hastings admitted that rules don't apply in the House of Representatives. Article Two Section One of the Constitution doesn't make a difference to you. Wait let me rephrase that...the Constitution doesn't matter to you period!

Democrats are embarrassed by Mr. Greene's nomination and want him to quit. But the nominee says he won fair and square, and refuses buckle under pressure. Rep. Clyburn thinks something suspicious is afoot:

"He's been paid to stay in it, by somebody," Clyburn said. "I just think this is a ploy by someone to dishonor and embarrass the Democratic Party."

I've got news for you Mr. Clyburn, you've embarrassed yourselves. You're an embarrassment to your state and to the country. You have to deal with what you brought to the dance. Maybe next time you'll turn on the light before you make a commitment.
