Gluten-Free Weenies Part of America's Problem

I want to thank the politically correct crowd for this gluten-free nonsense.  I bought a loaf of wheat bread for 88 cents at Wal-Mart.  That’s right Wal-Mart.  I haven’t seen bread this cheap in years!

I have a question.  Does being gluten-free require one to be humor-free as well?  NBC pulled an ad that was supposed to have aired during the Super Bowl.

NEW YORK, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- Over 18,000 people signed a petition asking NBC to remove an ad for its NASCAR programming originally run during Super Bowl XLIX in which Parks and Recreation star Nick Offerman says, "When our idea of danger is eating gluten, there's trouble afoot."

The ad triggered immediate backlash for including gluten-free dietary restrictions forced by celiac disease on a list of generational frustrations such as emojis and social networking.


"They pulled the GoDaddy spot for puppies," the petition's author, known only as "Gluten Dude" told Ad Week.


"We're talking about human beings here."


In the petition, Gluten Dude laments NBC's campaign "implies that we're soft," "weak" and "part of America's problem," further stigmatizing those with celiac disease.

Well, Gluten Dude, your whining and belly aching has proven that you are “soft,” “weak,” and "part of America’s problem."  And it has nothing to do with celiac disease.

You know it's bad when MSNBC criticizes an Obamacare ad.

Who's Extreme?

Who's extreme?  The Democrats would have you believe that a trillion dollar budget deficit is not extreme.  That putting the yoke of multi-generational debt around our necks isn't extreme. That making us subservient to the Chinese is not a detriment to our national security.

Those who believe printing money is the way to prosperity are the extremist.
