Progressives Created a Cat in the Hat Culture
Does political
correctness have a peak? Is there a
summit to absurdity? A day barely goes
by without some sort of bastardization of the language, or an assault
on our institutions. Many are
flabbergasted at this Cat in the Hat culture that has turned common sense into
a Dr. Seuss caricature.
There is a glimmer of
light peeking through the clouds. A
feminist icon has taken a stand on the definition of motherhood. Here is an excerpt from Brietbart.com:
Feminist commentator Germaine Greer has criticised Elton John for calling his partner David Furnish “mother” of their two sons.
Speaking at the Hay Literary Festival,
Greer accused the men of “deconstructing motherhood”, criticising them for the
fact that Furnish was listed as mother on their children’s birth certificates.
“Sometimes I think that really the
problem is the concept of motherhood, which we can’t give any real structure
to,” she said.
“Sir Elton John and his ‘wife’ David
Furnish have entered on the birth certificate of their two sons that David
Furnish is the mother. I’m sorry. That will give you an idea of how the concept
of motherhood has emptied out. It’s gone, it’s been deconstructed.”
The
Express says the
couple’s children were born with the help of IVF treatment and share the same
surrogate mother, who John and Furnish claim they “love like a sister”.
Progressives created
this mess. They need to sweep up this
nonsense and put everything back in its proper place.

Obama Seeds America with Refugee Foot Soldiers
How can anyone
dispute Barack Obama’s disdain for the United States? The Anointed One proudly trumpeted his plan
to transform America, and he’s making good on his promise. His totalitarian vision is to empower federal
government bureaucracies by executive decrees and flooding the country with
foreigners who subscribe to his ideology.
And what better way to do this than by seeding the country with
refugees.
Phyllis Schlafly put
it more succinctly. She declared Obama is
waging a war on America. WND reported
the following:
President Obama is
instigating a war on the United States, according to longtime conservative icon
Phyllis Schlafly. But the president hasn’t dropped a bomb or fired a shot;
rather, he has opened the country to tens of millions of immigrants and
refugees from all over the world, including from Muslim countries that hate
America.
“It is
waging war on America,” Schlafly told WND. “Muslims would like to take over the
world and establish their caliphate, and Obama has let so many Muslims in. I
don’t think he should let any Muslims in this country. There’s no reason why
they should come in.”
In a study released last fall, the Center for
Immigration Studies reported nearly 300,000 immigrants from predominantly
Muslim countries entered the United States from 2010 to 2013. That brought the
total number of immigrants from predominantly Muslim countries to 2.4 million,
compared to 2.1 million in 2010 and 1.5 million in 2000.
However, simple
immigration is not the whole story. Each year, the U.S. also welcomes thousands
of refugees – foreigners who seek refuge in the U.S. because they either were
persecuted or fear persecution in their home countries.
The State Department, which oversees the
refugee resettlement program, aims to resettle 70,000 total refugees a year. It
is estimated that roughly
40 percent of all
refugees come from predominantly Muslim countries. WND
has reported the U.S.
has accepted nearly 2 million refugees from Muslim countries since 1992.
According to the Obama administration, American
right-wing groups are the number one enemy of the United States. Real Americans take issue with that
designation.

Free Speech Advocate Goes into Hiding
America prides itself on the
freedoms bestowed upon us by our creator.
But what happens when a totalitarian ideology bludgeons its way into our
culture and city streets? Do we meekly
shut up and oblige our wannabe masters, or, do we confront these invaders who
us the courts, political correctness and violence as a means to an end.
Jon Ritzheimer, a free speech
advocate, has declared there is ‘tyranny in America’ after he organized a rally
that included a draw the prophet Muhammad contest. And as you can expect, death threats began to
roll in.
Ritzheimer planned the
protest, billed as "Freedom of Speech Rally," in response
to an ISIS-inspired attack outside a controversial Prophet Muhammad cartoon
contest May 3 in Texas.
Two gunmen were shot
dead by SWAT team
members as they attempted to storm the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas,
an event organized by anti-Islamic activist Pamela Geller.
But now Ritzheimer claims he's been
targeted by terrorists
“I’m having to sell
my house. My family is going into hiding,” an armed Ritzheimer, flanked by
burly men wearing "F--- Islam!" T-shirts, told reporters at the
rally. “They’re calling for lone wolves to behead me. That’s terrorism right
here in America.”
The latest rally also
included a Prophet Muhammad cartoon drawing contest, which drew plenty of
people protesting the protest by holding signs with messages like "Love
not hate" and "Stop the hate."
We can expect more
confrontations such as this, especially since Barack Obama is seeding the
United States with Muslim refugees.

You No Longer Own Your Money
Do you really own
your money? If you did, you wouldn’t
have to justify large withdrawals from your bank account to the IRS and United
States Justice Department.
Denny Hastert was
indicted for doing just that. The former
Speaker of the House withdrew large amounts of money out of his own account to
pay off a blackmailer. The last time I
checked, blackmail was a crime; apparently not in the Age of Obama. What constitutes a crime these days is
claiming that your money is your own and telling the federal government it’s none
of their damn business what you’re doing with it.
The federal
government is constantly scheming to control citizens and their pocketbooks. The latest to come down the pike is banning
paper money and going all digital. This
may sound benign, but in reality, the federal government could induce account
holders to spend in an attempt to spur economic growth, or lose their savings. The Telegraph reported the following:
In this futuristic world, all payments
are made by contactless card, mobile phone apps or other electronic means,
while notes and coins are abolished. Your current account will no longer be
held with a bank, but with the government or the central bank. Banks still
exist, and still lend money, but they get their funds from the central bank,
not from depositors.
Having
everyone’s account at a single, central institution allows the authorities to
either encourage or discourage people to spend. To boost spending, the bank
imposes a negative interest rate on the money in everyone’s account – in
effect, a tax on saving.
Faced with
seeing their money slowly confiscated, people are more likely to spend it on
goods and services. When this change in behavior takes place across the
country, the economy gets a significant fillip.
The recipient of
cash responds in the same way, and also spends. Money circulates more quickly –
or, as economists say, the “velocity of money” increases.
What about the
opposite situation – when the economy is overheating? The central bank or
government will certainly drop any negative interest on credit balances, but it
could go further and impose a tax on transactions.
So whenever you
use the money in your account to buy something, you pay a small penalty. That
makes people less inclined to spend and more inclined to save, so reducing
economic activity.
Such an approach
would be a far more effective way to damp an overheated economy than today’s
blunt tool of a rise in the central bank’s official interest rate.

Islam is a Political Ideology in the Guise of a Religion
I remember back in
the day when I used to believe Islam was just another religion like Christianity.
That, of course, was before 9/11. I used
to believe that all people yearned to be free and desired self-government, and the
only circumstance holding these poor unfortunates back were dictators who exploited
them.
Basically, I believed
in the Bush Doctrine that if people were freed from oppressive regimes, they would
embrace peace, democracy and capitalism.
Events have shown we couldn’t have been more wrong.
People are beginning
to realize that Islam is not compatible with Western values; it is a political
ideology in the guise of a religion. For
the West to survive, we as a people, have to come to this basic understanding.
Andrew McCarthy, a
contributor to National Review and former prosecutor, expressed those same views
on the Blaze:
The difference is,
Soviet ideology never traveled under the banner of religious liberty, and there
was never the kind of squeamishness about examining it that we have now. And …
the best way to combat it is to get over that squeamishness.
What we have to understand is that there
is a difference between what we ought to regard as Islam the religion … which
is something that is adhered to by, you know, many many many patriotic American
Muslims, who have no desire whatsoever to have a United States that’s
structured like the totalitarian societies that a lot of them either left or
reject for their own reasons.
So we have to
distinguish that from this political Islamist ideology that is rooted in
Islamic doctrine, and a very literal interpretation of it, and that rejects a
division between church and state, or between mosque and state.
That ideology is
— it has a religious component — but it’s a political ideology overwhelmingly.
And it ought to be dealt with as one. And we should stop — you know our public
officials should stop trying to label it as something it isn’t. It’s a
political, totalitarian conquest ideology that has certain religious elements
to it.
We have to start being honest with ourselves.

Government Contractor Pleads Guilty to Not Having a Minority Vagina
Have you ever wondered why it takes so long and cost
so much to implement and complete a government funded infrastructure
project? Contractors not only deal with
the hassle of overcoming mountains of bureaucratic red tape, corrupt
politicians and lawsuits by environmental groups, they also have to comply with
political correctness.
A Monroe, NC business owner pleaded guilty to conspiracy
and money laundering charges to federal prosecutors because his company wasn’t
a minority owned business. And as you
can expect, a company that builds roads needs government contracts. Boggs Paving Company submitted the lowest
bid, but the owner didn’t have a vagina or the right skin color. Now, he’s going to jail.
According to the federal indictment,
Boggs and his co-defendants conspired to get federal and state contracts by
claiming a minority-owned small business would do part of the work. Under state
contracting rules, 15 percent of work on such projects must be completed by
minority or female-owned companies.
Prosecutors say millions in payments to a bank account in the
name of Styx Cuthbertson Trucking were later funneled back to Boggs Paving. To
aid the fraud, magnetic decals for Cuthbertson covered the Boggs logo on trucks
at the construction sites.
The Monroe expressway project was not included in the federal
indictment, but records obtained by AP show that Monroe Bypass Constructors
included Styx Cuthbertson Trucking on the 2011 list of minority contractors it
submitted as part of its winning bid.
Charbonneau said Cuthbertson was removed from the state-approved
list of minority contractors on the project.
“As with all major construction projects, NCDOT publicly
advertised this project and awarded this project to the lowest bidder,”
Charbonneau said. “It was not awarded through fraud.”
If you’re a white male business owner, you’d better
have an understanding that your kind is persona non grata. However, you could pull a Bruce Jenner and
become a woman or an inverse Michael Jackson by darkening your skin and perming
your hair. I hear this transformation is
becoming all the rave.

Bob Schieffer Laments Death of Colander Journalism
Bob Schieffer, host of Face of the Nation, is
retiring from CBS after decades of massaging the backs of democrats and propagating
their political ideology to millions of trusting Americans.
Mr. Schieffer reminisced about the era of colander
journalism and lamented the death throes of thought conformity.
“We now don’t know
where people get their news, but what we do know is they’re bombarded with
information 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Most of the information is wrong
and some of it is wrong on purpose,” Schieffer said. “It is our job, I think,
in mainstream journalism to try to cut through this mall of information and
tell people what we think is relevant in what they need to know. That is the
job of the journalist and I have to say it’s harder and harder.”
Since when did
journalism become dog whistle for public relations for the Democratic Party?
Mr. Schieffer is
absolutely shameless, and without a doubt not the sharpest pencil in the
drawer, too. He is absolutely stunned at
the amount of money that is pervasive in politics.
“I mean
our campaigns have become, ‘I have more billionaires than you do so I’m a
viable candidate.’ I don’t think that’s what the founders had in mind when they
started this country,” he told “CBS This Morning.” “I don’t know where this
goes, but I think something is going to have to change on that front because
what we have now is people have to sign up with so many special interests
before they get to Washington, that once they’re here they can’t compromise.
And when you have a government and a legislative body that can’t compromise,
you have what we have — a legislative body that’s in constant and total
gridlock.”
I can tell you where this is going. It’s called totalitarianism. That’s what happens when a central government
consolidates power. And this yahoo is
surprised at the amount of money in politics?
The richest suburbs in the nation are in Washington D.C., and he’s
surprised at the amount awash in that town?
Mr. Schieffer and his ilk can’t even comprehend the
fact that gridlock is exactly what our founding fathers wanted. That was their intent. The Bill of Rights was designed to check the
federal government; not the states and their citizens. But these statists have corrupted our
founding principles as well.
Enjoy your retirement, Mr. Schieffer. Don’t worry, I’m sure Face the Nation will
continue to be a mouthpiece for the Democratic Party.

Senator Elizabeth Warren: I Didn't Flip That!
Senator Elizabeth Warren is a liar and a
hypocrite? Say it isn’t so! Surely, there must be a mistake. How can a populist politician be so callous
as to profit off the misery of others by buying foreclosed homes, presumably
once owned by the middle-class, and then flipping them for a handsome profit
without appearing to be a predator?
Why, you have family members do it for you, of
course.
Warren's campaign said the claims were baseless and that she and
her husband helped family members purchase the houses, since they were in a
financially secure position to do so.
"Elizabeth and Bruce are fortunate
to be able to help their family," said Alethea Harney, Warren's press
secretary, in a statement. "They have been able to help relatives buy
their homes and after Elizabeth's brother lost his job as a construction
worker, Elizabeth and Bruce were able to provide him support to buy and fix up
properties."
Senator Elizabeth Warren didn’t flip that house; her
family did. That’s what she would have
everyone believe. National Review
attributes some of Warren’s wealth to her vulture capitalistic nature:
As a professor of law at the University
of Pennsylvania, and later as a visiting professor at Harvard Law School, she
was doing well for herself, building both her professional profile and her
wealth. She owes at least part of her considerable financial success, it seems,
to snapping up these properties in her native Oklahoma and turning them for a
profit — though today that’s not a practice she endorses for the many people
looking to emulate her success. The Boston Herald reported on these
purchases during Warren’s Senate run in 2012, noting that she invested in “the
often topsy-turvy real-estate market of the 1990s” and that her actions “don’t
seem to square with her public statements about the latest real estate boom and
bust.”
What Senator Warren did in Oklahoma, stays in
Oklahoma, except of course, her Cherokee heritage.

Remembering the Fallen of Man-Made Global Warming
On this Memorial Day, we shall take the time to
remember the fallen who have sacrificed so much at the hands of our nation’s
most implacable foe: Man-Made Global Warming.
No burqa can hide the sinister machinations of this
amorphous enemy. No Northeastern
snowstorm on this venerable holiday can placate this Carbon Dioxide monster
from heating up the world’s surface.
We must conquer the enablers who dare finger the
world’s thermostat. We must lop off the
hand that rocks the world! Modernity, along
with a technology ravenous populace, has shaken the very foundation of statism,
and this will not stand!
The real enemy of the United States – Nay! – of all
mankind are Climate Deniers who poke holes in our flawed data; make fun of our
preposterous doomsday proselytizing; point out that not one of our models have
come to fruition; or reveal our manipulation of surveys and research.
These ingrates don’t realize our subterfuge is a
tactical maneuver to save them and the planet at large. We are the ones they’ve been waiting for, even
if they don’t realize it!
So today, let’s remember the casualties of man-made
global warming: unscrupulous politicians
who were voted out of office; opportunistic scientist who’ve lost their grant
money and reputations; fools who paid carbon reduction fees; and the media who’re
on the frontlines of this massive fraud.
No wreath will be laid for the disgraced. No, Tomb of the Unknown Fleeced to be guarded. Only pride in the conviction that this war
will go on, until the freedoms and bank accounts of every American shall be
rendered – of the federal government, by the federal government, and for the
federal government, so help Mother Earth.
Big Insurance Cartel Expecting Obamacare Bailout
The best way a handful of businesses in any given
industry can guarantee profits, marginalize competitors, and bailout their
mismanaged company is to become a government sponsored cartel. We’ve seen this “most favored” status
conferred upon select banks, auto makers, and various businesses that know how
to milk the government teat. Their names
need not be listed. We all know who they
are.
The health insurance industry has become the next “too
big to fail” government sponsored cartel and Obamacare is the vehicle for which
a handful of businesses will shelter themselves from a massive failure with the
expectation that taxpayers will bail them out.
The handwriting is on the wall. Performance is not meeting expectations. This means massive increases in
premiums. Big insurance knew this was
coming, as well as their enablers in Washington D.C.
The Washington Examiner reported the following:
This is an ominous sign for the future of Obamacare, because two
federal programs that were supposed to act as training wheels for insurers in
the early years of Obamacare by absorbing excess risk are set to expire after
2016. If insurers don't do a better job of attracting a healthier risk pool,
2017 promises to be a rocky year for insurance markets, regardless of which
party is in control of the White House.
In the first two years of the
implementation of Obamacare's insurance exchanges (2014 and 2015), insurers set
rates with the expectation that the government would absorb a certain degree of
risk and they made assumptions about the medical costs of their enrollees.
And here comes the rub:
In a scenario in which there are massive industry-wide losses
(and thus there isn't enough money being raised by the program to make it
self-sustaining), Republicans argued that the program would take on the
characteristics of an open-ended taxpayer bailout.
At first, the administration said the
program would be budget neutral – meaning it would only make payments to
insurers up to the amount that was collected from other insurers. But that led
to a furious backlash from insurers last spring, as
lobbyists and company executives warned of serious rate hikes for policies
starting in 2015 unless they were given added reassurance that the federal
money would continue to flow
Now that insurers
have had more time to look at the claims coming in from those enrolling from
Obamacare, they're finding that the pool of customers is older and sicker than
originally projected, driving up medical costs. Meanwhile, federal help isn't
what they anticipated.
Or, do they?
Does anyone truly believe Washington D.C. is going to let this
government program fail?

Decoration Day
On Memorial Day, Americans honor those who fought
and died for a cause greater than themselves.
Few have experienced the horrors of war.
Many know the pain of losing a loved one on a distant battlefield.
Here is an excerpt from an article published in the
Cecil Daily on how Decoration Day became Memorial Day:
Three years after the
Civil War ended, on May 5, 1868, the head of an organization of Union veterans
— the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) — established Decoration Day as a time
for the nation to decorate the graves of the war dead with flowers.
Maj.
Gen. John A. Logan declared that Decoration Day should be observed on May 30.
It is believed that date was chosen because flowers would be in bloom all over
the country.
The
first large observance was held that year at Arlington National Cemetery,
across the Potomac River from Washington, D.C.
The
ceremonies centered around the mourning-draped veranda of the Arlington
mansion, once the home of Gen. Robert E. Lee. Various Washington officials,
including Gen. and Mrs. Ulysses S. Grant, presided over the ceremonies. After
speeches, children from the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Orphan Home and members of
the GAR made their way through the cemetery, strewing flowers on both Union and
Confederate graves, reciting prayers and singing hymns.

Russia Outlaws Undesirable NGO's
Russia has come up with a novel idea on how to deal
with NGO’s that meddle in their internal affairs: outlaw them.
Here is an excerpt from CNN:
The law was passed earlier in the week by both houses of the
Russian parliament. It says that a foreign non-governmental organization can be
recognized as undesirable if it poses a threat to the constitutional order of
the Russian Federation or to the country's defense and security.
The
"undesirable" designation can be made by the country's prosecutor
general or his deputies in consultation with the Foreign Ministry. The
penalties -- both civil and criminal -- can be imposed if the organization
continues to operate in Russia after having been so designated.
The law also
targets Russian citizens or groups that have any "involvement" with
undesirable foreign NGOs.
Supporters of
the law said it was needed to stop "destructive organizations" from
threatening the Russian state. But opponents portrayed it as one of a series of
measures aimed at suppressing opposition and restricting freedom in the
country.
Maybe, we should do the same thing, but instead, we
would target NGO’s like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; it was these two
organizations that brought about the 2008 financial collapse along with their
enablers in Washington D.C.
How about States’ outlaw agencies that undermine
their constitutional prerogatives? Our
prisons would be filled with federal agents who arbitrarily abuse citizens and
bully state governments into submission.

Rep. Jim McDermott Befuddled by His Own Stupidity
Obamacare has once again befuddled Democrats. What was obvious to Conservatives years ago
has come to pass, and liberals are scratching their heads wondering what went
wrong. Here is Rep. Jim McDermott D-Wash
marinating in his stupidity:
After paying premiums, many low- and middle-income
patients still face high costs when trying to use their coverage. There's
growing concern that the value of a health insurance card is being eaten away
by rising deductibles, the amount of actual medical costs that patients pay
each year before coverage kicks in.
"I think
it's going to be the next big problem," said Rep. Jim McDermott, D-Wash.,
a congressional leader on health care.
"We've got
some 17 million more people covered ... but they can't access the care they
seem to be entitled to," McDermott said. "It costs too much to use
the care. That's the deceptive part about it."
Since virtually
all U.S. residents are now required to have health insurance by President
Barack Obama's health care law, McDermott said Democrats have a responsibility
to make sure coverage translates to meaningful benefits.
How long have we been complaining about this? McDermott the Moron and his fellow libtard
brigade are just figuring this out? They
caused this problem, yet, we’re to believe they’re going to fix it?
We need to invoke Article V of the U.S.
Constitution. States have to intervene
on our behalf. The citizens of this country
need protection from the likes of Rep. Jim McDermott D-Wash and his
confederates in that idiocracy called Washington D.C.

Ted Nugent's Advice for Class of 2015
Ted Nugent has some advice for the Class of
2015. Actually, these are words everyone
should live by. Here are some of his
bullet points as posted in the Daily Caller:
Life is not
fair. Get used to it.
Social justice is a commie scam. Read the drivel of
Saul Alinsky and fight it with all you’ve got.
Nobody owes you jacksquat. You will either earn your
own way, or feel like a helpless leech. There is no middle ground.
Economic equality is for sheep. If
you really believe we are all equal in our capabilities you will go
nowhere.
The minimum wage is for minimum wage earners. If you
believe you are worth more, go get it. Show by your productivity and
professionalism that you are better than minimum. Upgrade awaits upgraders.
The government cannot create jobs
for you. You must create your own worth by proving yourself to be a gungho
benefit for your employer. If you think you can do better, by all means, do better.
Partying should not include dangerous or
foolish behavior. Clean and sober always provides the most memorable
parties without the danger of puking, stumbling, making an ass of yourself or
passing out and dying.
Peer pressure is for sheep. Stand up for what you
believe in.
The whole world sucks, but America still sucks less.
Learn your history and be the best we the people participant
that you can be.
Don’t fall for the curse of political correctness. Feeling good
is not as important as doing good.
Posture and hygiene matters. Carry yourself
with dignity and treat others as you would have them treat you.
Tell me who you go with and I will tell you what you
are. Avoid losers for they will drag you down.
Sometimes you give the world the best you got and
you get kicked in the teeth. Give the world the best you got anyway.

Maybe, liberals should ask, “What would Muhammad do?”
instead of Jesus. I don’t recall the
Nazarene raiding, assassinating, enslaving or engaging in acts of pedophilia or
polygamy. One of these days, that question
may save their life.
