If Obama Were President in 1941
Eric Foner: Distorting and Redefining History
A couple of years ago, I was shopping for books on military
occupation of the South; or, as the victors like to call it, “Reconstruction.” Before investing time and money on such a
purchase, I research the author for leftist biases, especially if they’re from
academia. I want facts; not propaganda. Sure enough, I came across Eric Foner’s, “Reconstruction:
America’s Unfinished Revolution.”
Eric Foner is exactly what I suspected: a communist. Both his father and uncle were blacklisted
from academia for being “activist.” The
acorn didn’t fall far from the tree.
Here is a quote:
"In the course of the past twenty years,
American history has been remade. Inspired initially by the social movements of
the 1960s and 1970s – which shattered the ‘consensus’ vision that had dominated
historical writing – and influenced by new methods borrowed from other
disciplines, American historians redefined the very nature of historical study."
~ Eric Foner.
Yes, Eric Foner has redefined and distorted American
history. I ended up buying his work at a
used book store for a fraction of the retail price. God knows I didn’t want to offend a communist
by enhancing his bank account. After
all, capitalism is the evil of the world, so they tell us.
Sure enough, this “respected” historian berated and
dismissed others as racist propagandists for reporting the failures of the
Northern occupation. James S. Pike, in
particular, raised Foner’s ire.
James S. Pike was a journalist for the New York
Tribune. He was a radical republican and
an outspoken abolitionist who served as ambassador to the Netherlands during
the Lincoln administration. After the
war, he wrote a series of scathing articles on the corruption of public
officials which later became “The Prostrate State: South Carolina Under Negro
Government.” This did not sit well with
Mr. Foner.
Pike was hardly a model of objectivity – he had long
held racist views, had taken an active part in the Greeley campaign in 1872
(when his brother campaigned for Congress as a Liberal Republican), and had
incorporated essentially the same critique in articles written before ever
visiting the state.
I’ve read “The Prostrate State.” Some of Mr. Foner’s assertions are plain
false. He attributes the pejorative “Sambo…”
to Mr. Pike’s work. I couldn’t find it. As for being a racist, that kind of attitude
was prevalent at that time. Most, if not
all, abolitionists were racist. Even Lincoln
could be considered a racist.
Mr. Foner admits this during a recent interview on
C-SPAN. By the way, I could have swore I
heard him during the course of this interview make a Freudian slip by admitting
he distorted history, but caught himself in mid-sentence. I don’t know if this video was edited, but I’m
sure he said it when broadcasted on television.
Mr. Foner would whitewash “Reconstruction” by
declaiming critics as racist or white supremacist. We could counter that “red diaper babies”
have a fascination with oppressive governments that enjoy lording their power
over a prostrate state.

Senator Ted Cruz Defends Common Sense and American Values
Conservatives are starving for a voice that can
articulate their values, while shining a mirror on the ugly face of liberalism. It shouldn’t be hard to point out progressive
failures. We are living their dystopian
nightmare where common sense is a villain, facts are fraudulent, and opposite
day is a never ending national holiday.
When Senator Ted Cruz announced his candidacy,
Democrats and establishment Republicans alike, pounced on him. They know this man is prepared to shake their
grafting trees. Here he is exposing the
fraud that is Obamacare:
“Well, you know, those numbers don’t
tell the whole picture,” Cruz responded. “For one thing, the bulk of those
numbers are coming from expanded Medicaid. And Medicaid is a program where a
lot of people who are on Medicaid are not getting health care. Medicaid is a
system that is already overburdened and more and more people are just getting
waiting lists and not actually getting health care.”
He continued:
“Beyond that, remember six million people had their health insurance canceled
because of Obamacare. You are not doing someone a favor is you cancel the
health insurance they like, and then force them to buy new health insurance at
higher premiums that covers less.”
It’s time to lop some gorgon heads.

The United States of Barack Obama
Barack Obama is a constitutional scholar. How many times have we been told that? Yet, it seems every day his administration
violates the tenets, or should I say, ‘the spirit’ of the law of our land. One must wonder what constitution he and his
minions are referring. I thought the
U.S. Constitution had co-equal branches that checked and balanced each
other. I guess it was all a lie.
Dear Leader doesn’t need Article One Section Eight
which states Congress sets the rules for immigration. Barack Obama now determines that. Millions of illegal aliens will receive work
permits, Social Security cards, and the concomitant benefits that entails, and all
with a stroke of a pen.
Even the judiciary is finding out how irrelevant they’ve
become. A U.S. District Court judge in
Texas ordered a preliminary injunction on key parts of Obama’s illegal alien
amnesty. The Anointed One ignored it.
Even house rules under Article One Section Five are now
dictated by the Obama administration.
The Senate is supposed to decide when it’s in session. Not according to the Anointed One. He determined they were in recess and
appointed radicals to the NLRB without that body’s advice and consent. The Supreme Court ruled against the
administration. Oh well, too late.
Now, the American dictator will once again ignore
Article II Section Two. Obama has
decided he doesn’t need the advice and consent of the Senate when cutting a
deal with Iran. He, instead, will follow
the advice of the mullah’s by agreeing to a nonbinding deal through the United
Nations.
“Iran and
the administration both know that the deal they are forging is not acceptable
to the U.S. Congress and probably to the next administration,” said Saeed
Ghasseminejad, an Iranian dissident and associate fellow at the Foundation for
Defense of Democracies (FDD). “As a result, both Iran and the administration
are trying to come up with creative ways to bypass the Congress and check mates
the future presidents.”
“The latest
creative solution Iran came up with is to seal the deal by a U.N. Security
Council resolution,” he said. “This is another sign that the deal we are
talking about is a bad deal for the West and a good deal for the Islamic regime
in Iran.”
Is this the United States of America, or the United
States of Barack Obama?

Obama to Create Illegal Alien 'Country Within a Country'
We’ve all suspected that Barack Obama and the Democratic
Party want to flood this country with third-worlders who have the same authoritarian
and ideological bent as they. What’s
frightening is how deceitful and methodical they’ve been. Their goal is to create a country within a
country and push American citizens into the shadows.
Here is an excerpt from the Independent Sentinel:
The White House has plans to legalize 13 to 15 million
illegal immigrants who will then establish a “country within a country.”
The following Mark
Levin interview with Susan Payne is shocking but it also puts all the pieces
into place.
Susan Payne is a
contributor to WCBM, Baltimore and Co-Host of the Pat McDonough Radio
Show,
Unbeknownst to the
Obama officials, Ms. Payne was invited to listen in on conference calls at an
immigration rally. Cecilia Munoz, director of the White House Domestic
Policy Council, and 16 members of the White House cabinet were on the first
call. White House officials were on all three calls. What Ms. Payne
learned needs to be immediately shared with Congress and the public.
Here is the interview:
This is treason.

These people vote.
Rep. Robert Pittenger Funds Obama's Illegal Alien Amnesty
Just as I suspected, Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-NC)
joined 74 other Judas’ in passing the Democratic Party’s DHS bill. This bill funds Obama’s unconstitutional
executive amnesty, and by extension allows illegals to raid the U.S. Treasury
with the Earned Income Tax Credit.
Go govern, Robert Pittenger. You’re doing a bang up job on representing the
Washington D.C. establishment.

PM Netanyahu Pulls Americans Out of Obama's Looking-Glass
How refreshing it was to watch a leader of a country
defend his people with a certitude and moral clarity that Americans haven’t
seen in years. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke before a joint
session of Congress on the dangers of a nuclear Iran. He believes, as does any reasonable person,
that this apocalyptic regime can’t be trusted.
The Mullahs are hell bent on obtaining a nuclear weapon, and will do so,
treaty or no treaty.
The Obama administrations willful blindness for a “deal”
is an existential threat to Israel and could end up killing millions of
Westerners. Yet, they persist in
believing they can deal with a people whose prophet declared it a moral
obligation to lie to the infidel in order to advance Islam.
This administration will not even let our
representatives see this deal. No one
knows what’s in it. Once again, we are told
they have to pass something in order for us to see what’s in it. And as you can expect, this will end in
disaster just like Obamacare and everything else this administration has
touched.
That’s why truth and candor received over 20
standing ovations today. Prime Minister
Netanyahu was only the vessel.
The American people have been stuck on the other
side of looking-glass for too long. We’ve
been confounded by an administration and a political party that have created an
alternate universe where everything is a shade of grey: words have lost meaning; morality is subjective;
predators are victims; a nation with no borders; Christians are the bane of
society; and the world’s oldest democracy has an undeclared king.
It didn’t take long for the Democratic Party to shove
our heads back into the looking-glass.
Here is one congressman’s assessment:
And of course, House Speaker Boehner took this
opportunity to pass a “clean” DHS bill against the will of the American people
in the hopes no one was paying attention.
Chalk up another win for the Democratic Party, the U.S. Chamber of
Commerce and millions of illegal aliens.
Look in the distance. Can you see the white rabbit laughing and
flipping us off?

Barack Obama and the Democratic Party were handed
another short term victory in their quest for executive amnesty for illegal

FCC Commissioner: U.S. Internet Envy of World. We Must Control It!
Isn’t it odd that an FCC commissioner lauds the
internet in the United States as “the envy of the world,” while at the same
time demanding to control it with federal regulations? Does anyone find that odd?
STATEMENT OF COMMISSIONER JESSICA ROSENWORCEL
Re:Protecting and Promoting the Open Internet, GN
Docket No. 14-28.
Our Internet economy is the envy of the world. We
invented it. The applications economy began here—on our shores. The broadband
below us and the airwaves all around us deliver its collective might to our
homes and businesses in communities across the country. What produced this
dynamic engine of entrepreneurship and experimentation is a foundation of
openness. Sustaining what has made us innovative, fierce, and creative should
not be a choice—it should be an obligation.
We also have a duty—a duty to protect what has made
the Internet the most dynamic platform for free speech ever invented. It is our
printing press. It is our town square. It is our individual soapbox—and our
shared platform for opportunity. That is why open Internet policies matter.
That is why I support network neutrality.
The internet will no longer be open and “free” when
these government thugs takeover.

Nancy Pelosi's Dry Hanky for American Citizens
Where are Democrats priorities? It’s definitely not our security, or the
sanctity of U.S. citizenship. Their
concerns have to do with millions of illegal aliens who have the same ideology
as they. Both have no regard for the U.S.
Constitution, rule of law, or the general welfare of the American people.
The Department of Homeland Security will face a
partial shutdown because Republicans refuse to fund President Obama’s
unconstitutional amnesty program. You’d
think this would be lauded from every corner of the United States. You’d be wrong. The media has, once again, portrayed Republicans
as the ones compromising our national security.
Shocker, I know.
Now, Nancy Pelosi is crying over potential lost
wages for federal government workers.
“I don’t know about you, but I think almost everybody I know cannot
live without having a paycheck on time–members of Congress, even. And yet
they’re (Republicans) asking the Department of Homeland Security people to do
that.”
Funny, how she’s so concerned for federal government workers who will
end up getting a paid vacation at taxpayers’ expense. Who in
the hell does she think she’s kidding?
I don’t see Nancy Pelosi crying over lost wages because the job market
is flooded with illegal aliens; nor will she shed a tear when the average
American has to compete with illegal aliens in the work place, schools and social
services. Her hanky is pretty dry when
it comes to the general welfare of an American citizen.
I guess members of Congress can have that attitude when the majority of
them are millionaires. By the way, Nancy
Pelosi is the 14th richest amongst her fellow lawmakers.

Everyone is Coming Out of the Closet But the Saints
The LGBT community is less than 1% of the
population; yet, they seem to enjoy waving their peckers/strap ons in our face
every chance they get. They seem to have
an entitlement mentality irrespective of discretion or morality. As one flabbergasted preacher exclaimed, “Everyone’s
coming out of the closet, but the Saints!”
I have very few television shows that I enjoy. Last weekend, two of them – The Walking Dead
and Black Sails – featured gay men making out.
I don’t want to see that. And I
suspect the vast majority of the viewing public doesn’t either.
Gay characters have been featured in film and
television for decades. This is nothing
new. But filming them making out and
humping one another is completely different.
One of the reasons I, and many others, stopped watching
True Blood was because of all the gay sex.
That’s fine if you’re into that thing.
But your audience is limited.
The Walking Dead and Black Sails shouldn’t be near
their “jump the shark” episodes. They will
be if they keep “jumping the gerbil.”

Opening Saturday Mark Levin CPAC 2015
Mark Levin sums it up. Go to the 6 minute mark for the meat and potatoes.
Does the U.S. Constitution Still Have Standing?
Americans have a come to Jesus moment. Are we a constitutional republic, or
not? Are we giving lip service to a
federalist system, or, are we to be ruled by an all powerful central
government? It seems we’ve opted for the
latter.
Time after time, we’ve watched Congress flail about
while the Obama administration flouts the federal bureaucracy by enacting rules
and regulations without recourse. Recently,
the FCC declared the internet a public utility without the required 30 day
public comment period. Isn’t that similar
to how this whole Obamacare fiasco came about?
Does anyone remember Nancy Pelosi’s infamous, “We need to pass it, so
everyone can see what’s in it.”
These bureaucracies shouldn’t have the ability to
create rules and regulations that have the force of law. The U.S. Constitution specifically states that
only Congress has legislative powers.
However, this same body abdicated their responsibilities by enabling
federal bureaucrats with the passage of the 1946 Administrative Procedures Act.
Can Congress overturn a bureaucratic rule and
regulation? Sure, they can. The Congressional Review Act was passed in
1996. Congress granted itself the
ability, with permission from President Bill Clinton, to overturn a
bureaucratic edict. Here is how Wikipedia
described the law:
The Congressional
Review Act (5 U.S.C. § 801-808), was enacted by the United States
Congress as section
251 of the Contract with America Advancement Act of 1996 (Pub.L. 104–121), also known as the Small
Business Regulatory Enforcement Fairness Act of 1996 (SBREFA). The law allows
Congress to review, by means of an expedited legislative process, new federal
regulations issued by government agencies and, by passage of a joint
resolution, to overrule a regulation.[1]
For the regulation to be invalidated,
the Congressional resolution of disapproval either must be signed by the
President, or must be passed over the President's veto by two-thirds of both
Houses of Congress.[2]
Isn’t that
delicious? The Constitution states that
Congress can override a presidential veto on one of their bills by that same
margin. So, basically, a fourth branch
of government has as much power, if not more, as Congress. Isn’t that interesting? In other words, it’s almost impossible for
Congress to override a federal bureaucracy’s regulation.
The deck is even more stacked now that progressives
rule the judiciary. Liberal judges can flippantly
strike down a state’s constitution, or law, by simply declaring it violates the
equal protection clause of the 14th Amendment. They do this by establishing precedence, and
eventually, their rulings no longer reflect original intent of the law.
Another progressive favorite is declaring the plaintiff
has no standing. It’s no longer
fashionable to ponder the legality, or for that fact, the constitutionality of
a law, such as Obamacare. Now, judges
demand one must show irreparable harm. How
convenient is that? Here is an excerpt
from a Bloomberg article:
Yet if it’s possible
to deduce from the record that the plaintiffs qualify for hardship exemptions
from paying for insurance, then it’s within the court’s prerogative to consider
the issue. The reason is tricky but interesting. Under the Supreme Court’s
jurisprudence, an “injury in fact” is a constitutionally necessary prerequisite
for the court to hear a case. If there’s no such injury, there’s no “case or
controversy” that the court would be entitled to hear under the Constitution.
Therefore, the court has held, the question of standing is what’s called “jurisdictional”
– and such a jurisdictional question can be raised by the court even if the
parties never mention the problem.
Must
the court address the question of standing? Here things get murkier. In theory,
if the court knows it doesn’t have standing, it lacks the power to proceed. In
practice, the court sometimes hears cases where, in retrospect, standing seems
not to have existed.
Does
the Constitution still have standing? Not
in the Age of Obama.
