California State Senator Threatens Lowe's for Not Sponsoring Muslim T.V. Show

Its one thing for citizens to boycott a company because of a political or economic stance they have made; it’s quite another to have a state or federal lawmaker threaten, or introduce sanctions. A thuggish California state senator has just done that to Lowe’s.

Mia Farrow and Russell Simmons have called for a boycott of Lowe's on Twitter, with Simmons promising to "sic every civil rights agency on (Lowe's) until they straighten this out." He is also urging his Twitter followers to sign a petition -- which, as of 3:25 ET Monday, had 9,660 of the 10,000 signatures the creators of the petition are hoping for -- to urge other companies to advertise during "All-American Muslim."

Meanwhile, California’s state Sen. Ted Lieu called the Lowe's ad pull "stunning bigotry."

Lieu posted on his website a copy of a letter he wrote to Lowe's CEO Robert Niblock, calling for the company to apologize for its ad pull or face possible "legislative remedies."


"Lowe's action is bigoted, shameful, and un-American," Lieu wrote. "I call on Lowe's to rescind its action and apologize to Americans who are Muslim. If Lowe's continues its religious bigotry, I will encourage boycotts of Lowe's and look into legislative remedies."


What is un-American is having a state senator bulling a company, because they refuse to sponsor a television show. What kind of fascist mentality is that? Is it any wonder that California is the armpit of the country when they have authoritarians like Sen. Lieu running the show?

Americans See Big Government More of a Threat than Big Business

Gallup has just published a poll, and the leaders of the Democratic Party should be aghast. A majority of Americans, including democrats, see big government as a threat to our freedom. The OWS farce of demonizing businesses, and capitalism in particular has backfired. Once again, Barack Obama, Nancy Pelosi and their coterie of socialist have overplayed their hand, and the people see these corrupt, power mongers for what they are.

Americans' concerns about the threat of big government are near record-high levels. The Occupy Wall Street movement, focused on "fighting back against the corrosive power of major banks and multinational corporations," has drawn much attention and a large following. Still, the majority of Americans do not view big business as the greatest threat to the country when asked to choose among big business, big government, and big labor. In fact, Americans' concerns about big business have declined significantly since 2009.

Additionally, while Occupy Wall Street isn't necessarily affiliated with a particular party, its anti-big business message may not be resonating with majorities in any party. Republicans, independents, and now close to half of Democrats are more concerned about the threat of big government than that coming from big business.

Democrats Produce Gingrich Attack Ad

The Democrats are a one trick pony. The only solutions they can come up with is taxing the hell out of people and sending the money to that black hole in Washington D.C. Now how does that benefit the middle-class? How does that create jobs?

What I find offensive is these Washington D.C. Democratic reptiles are millionaires and billionaires themselves. Does anyone think they are paying their fair share? Of course not, they’ve used their office to enrich themselves. And what is really offensive is the pandering to the ignorant and the dispossessed to advance their quest for power over all of us.

IPCC Conspires to Confiscate Wealth Through International Climate Change Court

If you thought Barack Obama and his Marxist pals in the Democratic Party where masters of class warfare rhetoric; just wait until we get the brunt end of a cudgel at an international level. The United Nations is holding a climate change conference in Durbin, South African. These conspirators are devising a way to undermine the nation state, and confiscate the wealth of the more successful through the means of an international climate change court of justice.

Fox News reported the machinations of these thugs:

The rules of the road the court would presumably enforce are based on the view that these developed countries owe developing countries a "debt" over climate change, and must provide financial aid in addition to taking major steps toward cutting emissions.

In one section, the document calls for developed countries to help poorer countries with "finance, technology and capacity building" so they can "adapt to and mitigate climate change" while helping eliminate poverty. Another section provides that developing countries should receive an amount of money equal to the amount "developed countries spend on defense, security and warfare."

Yet the document also calls for a guaranteed end to warfare altogether -- for the sake of curbing climate change.

One section, noting that "conflict-related activities emit significant greenhouse gas emissions," calls on all parties to "cease destructive activities" like warfare -- and then channel the money that would have been spent on war and other defense projects toward "a common enemy: climate change."

The document also asserts the "rights of mother earth," a concept that environmental activists have been pushing for.

Mother earth has rights? What in the hell is that supposed to mean? Do we have a transcendental being that can channel the grievances of the earth? And who will sit in judgment … third-world dictators? Have we all gone mad?

I believe the common enemy of all free peoples is the United Nations. How long are the American people going to put up with their nonsense?

Newt Gingrich Stands by Invented Peoples Comment

The truth can be offensive, especially to the delusional. Newt Gingrich pulled the scales off of the eyes of the Arab horde who call themselves Palestinians. Of course this is politically incorrect, but historically accurate, and Newt stood by his statement once again in last night’s debate.

The Jews have long been tormented by their Arab neighbors. The historian Bat Ye’or summarized the 7th century Muslim invasion, and the horrors that the indigenous population was subjected to from the religion of peace:

Abu Bakr organized the invasion of Syria [Syro-Palestine] which Muhammad had already envisaged. He gathered tribes from the Hijaz, Najd, and Yemen and advised Abu Ubayda, in charge of operations in the Golan, to plunder the countryside, but due to a lack of adequate weaponry, to refrain from attacking towns. Consequently, the whole Gaza region up to Cesara was sacked and devastated in the campaign of 634. Four thousand Jewish, Christian, and Samaritan peasants who defended their land were massacred. The villages of the Negev were pillaged by Amr b. al-As, while the Arabs overran the countryside, cut communications, and made road perilous. Towns such as Jerusalem, Gaza, Jaffa, Cesarea, Nablus, and Beth Shean were isolated and closed their gates. In his sermon on Christmas day 634, the patriarch of Jerusalem, Sophronius, lamented over the impossibility of going on pilgrimage to Bethlehem, as was the custom because the Christians were being forcibly kept in Jerusalem: “not detained by tangible bonds, but chained and nailed by fear of the Saracens,” whose “savage, barbarous and bloody sword” kept them locked up in town….Sophronius, in his sermon on the Day of the Epiphany 636, bewailed the destruction of the churches and monasteries, the sacked towns, the fields laid waste, the villages burned down by the nomads who were overrunning the country. In a letter the same year to Sergius, the patriarch of Constantinople, he mentions the ravages wrought by the Arabs. Thousands of people perished in 639, victims of the famine and plague that resulted from these destructions.

The countryside [in Syro-Palestine, Iraq, Persia, and Armenia] suffered constant razzias, while those who escaped the sword swelled the contingents of enslaved women and children, shared out among the soldiers after the deduction of the fifth [share of the “booty”] reserved for the caliph.

According to [the Muslim chronicler] Baladhuri (d. 892 C.E.), 40,000 Jews lived in Caesarea alone at the Arab conquest, after which all trace of them is lost.

The end result of this invasion was a supplication by the Byzantine Emperor to Pope Urban II for assistance. This of course brought about the crusades; again, another politically incorrect truth that Muslims aren’t willing to face.
