Democratic Nominee, Dan McCready: Patriot or Political Grifter?

Libtards from all over the country are targeting North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District. Tom Steyer, a California billionaire and crony capitalist, pledged $1 million to flip this patriotic bastion into Nancy Pelosi’s back pocket.

He’s not alone. Local businessmen are also plotting to turn the 9th into a progressive fiefdom. Scion, Tim Belk; venture capitalist, Ric Elias; big banker, Hugh McColl Jr. and political grifter, Erskine Bowles have found a viable stalking horse for the Democratic Party: a 34 year old no one has ever heard of before. A young man named Dan McCready.

Who is Dan McCready? Where did he come from? And how in the hell did he get this kind of financial backing from the aforementioned luminaries?

What we do know is this Democratic nominee served in the Marine Corps and graduated from Harvard. He also co-owns a solar panel company called Double Time; but the finances are nebulous if not outright questionable. Here is an excerpt from Business North Carolina that should raise some red flags:

With Harvard and big-company backgrounds, McCready and Barcott knew people whose substantial incomes made solar investments attractive. Rogers, who left Duke in mid-2013, helped the duo make connections and became an adviser. Still, raising money was no snap. It took about 1,000 meetings with investors to raise their first fund of $8 million.

“Many of our investors were initially skeptical because they had heard of industry failures such as [California-based solar-panel maker Solyndra],” McCready says. “Everyone said that you can’t build an investment firm without investing experience. But we didn’t know any better.”

Once word spread, the money chase got easier. Double Time eventually collected about $80 million that has been invested in 36 projects across North Carolina, much of it in slow-growth rural areas. While several institutions including Prudential Financial Inc. put money into the company, most investors are individuals, McCready says.

McCready won’t share financial details, but Double Time’s initial funds have met their projections, according to two sources familiar with the company who asked to remain anonymous.

Can’t share financial details? Sources who asked to remain anonymous? What the hell is this? I can say without hesitation the whole green energy industry couldn’t exist without tax credits and government subsidies. The simple fact that McCready and his partner moved on to new ventures after North Carolina disbanded its solar energy policies should also raise red flags despite their assertions to the contrary. Here is another tell from Business North Carolina:

Double Time still manages its existing investments, which include some nonsolar businesses such as Raleigh-based WasteZero, which advises municipalities on reducing trash, and Lyft, the San Francisco-based ride-hailing company. But McCready and Barcott have moved on to new challenges, a decision unrelated to the end of state tax credits. Barcott formed With Honor, a nonprofit that encourages military veterans to run for political office as centrist candidates. McCready, 34, is heeding that call, running this year as a Democrat for the U.S. Congress in a district held by Republicans for more than 60 years.

These two know where the real money is at and that’s politics.

So, who is Dan McCready? Is he a patriot or a political grifter? I’m banking on the latter.

Democrats Bet Electoral Success on Stalking Horses

Democrats have found a winning template that pretty much repudiates their party’s platform, but falls in line with their deceptive character. The formula is to find candidates who served in the military, profess to be fiscally responsible and believe in the Constitution of the United States while at the same time nebulous on issues that might alarm conservative voters. Basically, Democrats are in search of Connor Lamb clones.

This Sunday’s Charlotte Observer, both on the front page and editorial section, practically lap danced on one of these clones. Dan McCready is thirty-four years old, local, served in the Marines, and an Eagle Scout; yet, somehow he’s a libtard. Go figure.

The “uptown” wine and cheese crowd love this guy. They make no bones about their intent of wheeling this Trojan horse into a conservative district. Here is an excerpt from an op-ed by Taylor Batten extolling this grand deception:

Former Bank of America chief Hugh McColl stood in the Belks’ living room at that March fundraiser, and extolled McCready’s service as a Marine. McColl’s own time in the Marines, and his pride in it, is legendary, so he spoke authoritatively about how the experience would help McCready in Congress.

That was fitting because McCready, like several other congressional candidates around the country, is emphasizing his stint in the military (he led two platoons in Iraq in 2007-08) as a big part of his centrist, country-first persona. It worked for Conor Lamb, a 33-year-old Democrat who won last month in a Pennsylvania district that Donald Trump had carried by 20 points.

It’ll work for Nancy Pelosi too as she shoves her radical anti-American agenda down our throats. Connor Lamb, Dan McCready and their ilk are stalking horses who’ll claim ignorance while the Marxist in leadership trample over the Constitution just like they did in 2008 - 2010.

McCready, just like Lamb, is well funded. He has a war chest of $1.2 millon which far exceeds his primary opponent, Christopher Cano’s measley $46. Not bad for someone who just burst on the scene. I wonder if George Soros cut a check to this Manchurian candidate? I wouldn’t be surprised.

Mind you, Cano has name recognition. He won the 2016 Democratic primary by being true to a progressive agenda in a conservative district. The wine and cheese crowd, along with the Disturber, know this isn’t a winning formula. Cano has to go. The two articles along with their cartoon has made that abundantly clear.

Rep. Robert Pittenger's Three Card Monte Scheme

Rep. Robert Pittenger has, once again, shown himself to be a hypocrite and a liar.  This man voted to raise the debt ceiling by adding an additional $80 billion through September 17, 2017.  He also passed a budget that funded all of Barack Obama’s policies and executive orders, including Obamacare.  Yet, this so-called representative of the 9th Congressional District of North Carolina had the audacity to brag about a nothing piece of legislation while our insurance premiums have skyrocketed and our policies rendered worthless with outrageous deductibles.

“Constituents sent me to Washington to undo the broken promises of Obamacare.  One of my first pieces of legislation was a repeal of Obamacare’s Auto-Enroll provision, which forces businesses to enroll employees in the company health plan, whether or not they want it or need it.  The repeal of this provision was included in the budget deal, and will help protect American jobs.”

North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District’s three card monte dealer.  This isn’t what I voted for.  Did you?

Rep. Robert Pittenger Refuses to Defund Obamacare

Robert Pittenger is a huge disappointment.  He has proven himself to be a good ole boy, ingratiating himself with the D.C. clique.  The first head turning moment came when he proposed a collaboration with Democrats in order to “get things done.”  That usually means we bend over and take it.

Recently, a constituent at a town hall meeting asked if Rep. Robert Pittenger would defund Obamacare.  He rudely said no.  I know that is not what I voted for in North Carolina’s 9th Congressional District primary.  And believe me; I along with many others will not forget this.
