Rage Against the Republic

by T.L. Coston

Oh, calamity!  When beliefs refuted by ungentle slight
Hearts soaked in hatred; enflamed by righteous might
Listen to the howls upon the night air
As entitled children scream for what is theirs

Through cities they march with open mouths and hands
Demanding rights that exists in fairylands
Sisters Greed, Envy and Paranoia sing melodies of discontent
Nasty and gratuitous, petitioners rave against their fellowman

RAGE for monies ill-gotten gain
RAGE for death of innocent babes
RAGE for power over disfavored dissent
RAGE for death of the republic and all for which it stands

Call to arms!  Call to arms!  Puppet masters scream with delight
Special interests gather and sew quilts of progressive rights
Evolution lives and breathes amongst the enlightened
Socialist revolution is the answer to their plight

RAGE against science; consensus is all we need
RAGE against Christians and that superstitious breed
RAGE against the Founders with all their sins

RAGE for death of the republic and all for which it stands

Charlotte Rioters Supported by George Soros and Gay Rights Groups

Once again, law-abiding citizens are compelled to witness protest and riots based upon a lie.  Why pay attention to the evidence when all you need is a narrative.  And what is that pray tell?  Why it’s innocent, young, black men are being hunted down by white police officers.  What a bunch of nonsense.

Contrary to the entire hubbub, it was a black police officer who shot Keith Lamont Scott.  More importantly, Keith Lamont Scott is responsible for his own death.  He was a violent, convicted felon in possession of a firearm which is a direct violation of the law.  Furthermore, had he complied with the officers instruction he would be alive today; instead, we have another undeserving martyr for BLM.  Here is an account of what happened.

So now we have an infestation of protestors swarming uptown Charlotte destroying property and terrorizing the citizenry.  What we are finding out is the majority of these scumbags are not from Charlotte.  A spokesman for the Fraternal Order of Police reported that 70% of those arrested are from out of state.  Legions of riffraff are being bused in.  Who in the hell is paying for all this mayhem?  You guessed it George Soros.  This Nazi collaborator donated $650,000 to Black Lives Matter through his Open Society Foundation.

We are also finding out local agitators are contributing as well.  A group calling themselves Charlotte Uprising is demanding the following:

THE IMMEDIATE END TO THE STATE OF EMERGENCY, CURFEW & THE REMOVAL OF THE NATIONAL GUARD

THE IMMEDIATE DEMILITARIZATION OF THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE IMMEDIATE RETURN OF ALL MILITARY EQUIPMENT

THE DEFUNDING OF THE POLICE  DEPARTMENT (2017 Budget: $246,644,617) AND THE REDIRECTION OF THOSE RESOURCES TO THE NEEDS OF OUR COMMUNITIES (INCLUDING RESOURCES FOR JOBS PROGRAMS, AFFORDABLE QUALITY HOUSING, TRANSPORTATION, HOLISTIC HEALTH AND QUALITY SCHOOLS)

AN INDEPENDENT INVESTIGATION INTO THE KILLING OF KEITH L. SCOTT AND AN INVESTIGATION INTO THE CHARLOTTE MECKLENBURG POLICE DEPARTMENT BY THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE  AND A FREEZE ON THE NEARLY 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS AWARDED IN FEDERAL GRANTS ANNUALLY TO THE DEPARTMENT

A RELEASE OF THE POLICE REPORT AND BODY CAMERA FOOTAGE CONNECTED WITH THE KILLING OF KEITH L. SCOTT  & ALL OTHER KILLINGS TO THE PUBLIC AND IMMEDIATELY REPEAL OF HB 972, WHICH RESTRICTS THE ABILITY OF THE PUBLIC TO ACCESS POLICE BODY CAMERA FOOTAGE

THE IMMEDIATE AND UNCONDITIONAL RELEASE OF ALL THOSE ARRESTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE UPRISING RESULTING FROM THE KILLING OF KEITH L. SCOTT & THE DROPPING OF ALL CHARGES

THE RELEASE OF ALL THE NAMES OF THE OFFICERS INVOLVED IN THE KILLING OF KEITH L. SCOTT TO THE PUBLIC FOLLOWED BY THEIR FIRING, ARREST AND PROSECUTION

REPARATIONS FOR THE FAMILY OF KEITH L. SCOTT AND ALL VICTIMS  OF POLICE VIOLENCE AS WELL AS THE FAMILIES OF THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN KILLED

COMMUNITY CONTROL OF THE POLICE, STARTING WITH THE CREATION OF A CIVILIAN OVERSIGHT BOARD THAT HAS THE POWER TO HIRE AND FIRE OFFICERS, DETERMINE DISCIPLINARY ACTIONS AS WELL AS DICTATE POLICE POLICIES, PRIORITIES, AND BUDGETS. THE BOARD SHALL NOT INCLUDE POLICE REPRESENTATION AND WILL BE CONTROLLED BY COMMUNITIES MOST IMPACTED BY POLICING AND INCARCERATION IN CHARLOTTE.

AN END TO THE REPRESSION & TARGETING OF PROTESTORS AND ALL THOSE ENGAGED IN THE CHARLOTTE UPRISING

Basically, these people want anarchy and we’re to fund them.  And who are these fools?  Here are the groups that constitute Charlotte Uprising:

This petition was crafted by Charlotte Uprising with support from: Charlotte Trans and Queer People of Color Collective, Ignite NC, Youth Organizing Institute, Southern Vision Alliance, Charlotte SURJ, Queer People of Color Collective GSO, Charlotte Tribe, Charlotte SURJ, Ignite NC, Black Youth Project-Durham Chapter, Beloved Community Center, Durham Solidarity Center, Workers World Party, NC TROUBLMakers, Million Hoodies, Black University, SEAC, SURG Charlotte

I happened across a VW Bug with a rotating cube that displayed BLM and HRC logos.  I wondered aloud as to what in the hell a gay rights organization has to do with this nonsense.  But after considering the whole bathroom narrative, I concluded that farce is just as equal as Keith Lamont Scott's innocence.

Martin O'Malley: Baltimore's Failures are America's Failure

Liberals like Martin O’Malley never take responsibility for their policies, or their actions.  Their failures are America’s failure.  Nothing is their fault.

I visited Baltimore in 2004 to watch the Preakness and I can tell you the majority of that city is a hell hole.  HBO featured The Wire around that time, and I can attest to the authenticity of that show.  I mistakenly drove down a major thoroughfare where I witnessed block after block of boarded up houses as far as the eye could see.  I was dumbstruck at that town’s dilapidated state.  But somehow, Martin O’Malley would have us believe its America’s fault for the failures of Baltimore.

The United States has spent over $22 trillion on poverty programs since Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society.  How’s that working out?  Now we have rioters throwing rocks at police while taking pictures with their smart phones and tweeting others to burn down their city as well.

America is populated with people like Martin O’Malley who can’t come to turns with their failures.  Meanwhile, we have to watch a major city burn to the ground by sociopaths with EBT cards.

The Road to Hell Passes Through Venezuela

The road to hell passes through Venezuela.  Has anyone read or watched a feel good story out of that socialist paradise in South America?  Grocery stores are under military protection.  People are rioting in the streets for want of basic necessities.  And it’s only going to get worse!

"Scarcity is getting worse in Venezuela. Basic products are so hard to get," said Josseline Viera, a doctor in Venezuela. "It used to be that certain products were scarce, now it's basically everything."

Viera says shortages have made it impossible for hospitals to find essential medical products such as gauze and acetaminophen.

"I basically have to send patients to other hospitals," she said. "But patients have to go to a lot of clinics and hospitals before they find the medical supplies they need for their care. I feel very sorry for my country."

Experts predict the situation in Venezuela will worsen as early as the first half of 2015.

"It will be a year of extreme scarcity," Venezuelan economist Angel Garcia Banchs said. "What's coming to Venezuela is chaos that will probably lead to barbarity and people looting."

The state of the Venezuelan economy is the result of years of economic mismanagement that the government, for years, was able to cover up by pumping oil revenues to support its populist policies. But this was when oil was at more than $100 per barrel, and despite declining oil production in Venezuela, revenues were enough to keep people happy.

But since this summer, Brent fell from above $115 per barrel to $70, thanks in part to North America's shale boom, and oil analysts predict oil prices will keep declining below $70 for Brent and even more for crude.

Even their capitol building is falling apart!  Imagine that.  The holy temple of socialism is crumbling like the Tower of Babel.  News crews had to run for their lives.

Hugo Chavez, the patron saint of Venezuelan socialism, couldn’t have exited from the stage at a better time.

White Guy Thanks Ferguson Rioters for an Ass Beating

Liberals love self-flagellation.  A white guy went to Ferguson to show his solidarity.  He got robbed and his ass beat, and then practically thanked them for it.

I swear, I will never understand these people.

Newspaper Criticized for Ferguson Riots Cartoon

Prepare to take criticism if you point out the obvious.  The Columbia Daily Tribune published a cartoon pointing out the rampant lawlessness perpetuated by “protestors” in Ferguson, MO.  And as you can expect, effete libtards can’t stand being lampooned.

I admit I didn’t anticipate the reaction. I’m responding to complaints, most of which have come through the Twitter universe, by asking them to consider the context. On three of the preceding four days our editorial page featured local cartoons about the Michael Brown tragedy, the militarization of the police response and a likeness of Lady Justice with six bullet wounds.

The editorial cartoon yesterday accompanied a Rich Lowry column about the unfortunate presence of looters and how that is not a legitimate form of protest. Provocative yes. Racist? Certainly not in intent

The Rural/Urban Dichotomy is Nothing New

The past presidential election emphasized the dichotomy of rural and urban voters.    If you look at an electoral map, you’ll notice the United States is awash in a sea of red dotted with blue bobbers.  Those bobbers are districts with big cities.

City dwellers demand a strong, centralized government, while country folk believe in self-government and less intrusion in their lives.  In geographic terms, we have enclaves of teat squawkers in a land of people yearning to be free.

This rural/urban conflict goes back to America’s founding.  When the Constitution was debated in the public sphere, newspapers would dismiss Anti-Federalist writings warning of the flaws of this new government.  Urban dwellers wouldn’t tolerate diverse opinions.  They would cancel their subscriptions if a publication dared to print any criticisms of a strong central government.  Samuel Bryan (author of the Centinel essays) made a keen observation:

The Printers were certainly most of them more willing to publish for, then against the new Constitution.  They depended more upon the People in the Towns than in the Country.  The towns people withdrew their Subscriptions from those who printed Papers against, and violent Threats were thrown out against the Antis and Attempts were made to injure them in their Business.

Some things never change.  That kind of mentality exists to this day.   Newspapers around the country are infested with liberals advocating centralized government.  Dissent is considered anarchy or anti-government.  That was how the Anti-Federalist was portrayed, that is how the Tea Party is marginalized today.

Why are inhabitants of big cities advocates for big government?  Are urban dwellers incapable of self-government?  Are they morally inferior to their rural cousins?  Here is an excerpt from Alasdair Roberts, America’s First Great Depression:

The president of Boston city council, Peleg Whitman Chandler, made the uprisings in Rhode Island and Philadelphia the subject of his oration for the celebration of July 4, 1844.

The monarchies of Europe, Chandler said, maintained order with a strong “internal police.”  The United States had chosen instead to rely on the self-governing instincts of its people.  But something had gone awry, Chandler said; the sense of “personal responsibility [and] manly self-denial” among Americans was manifestly in decline.  The effusion of riots and rebellions was symptomatic of a moral decay.

Chandler warned that the enemies of self-government were not foreign adversaries, but inhabitants of large cities.  He suggested that the northeast needed “civic armies” to discipline the populace.  They needed a government

strong enough to overawe those, who cannot govern themselves…. [T]he tendency of events in our big cities has been such as must result in the creation of such a strong coercive power, as is not yet known among us, and which has heretofore been looked upon as foreign to the spirit of our institutions.  It is to be hoped, that the indications and the necessity of such a change will be confined to our largest cities, but it is through them, if ever, that the American people are to learn, what a strong government is.

The Supreme Court wasn’t willing to confine this need for big government thuggery to our largest cities.  They wanted to infect the States as well.  Here is an excerpt from one of my previous blog post:

A series of Supreme Court rulings dating back to the 1960’s subverted the political process by retarding the rights of a State’s self governance.  These judges –  this priestly class – molested federalism by dictating the manner with which States’ shall choose their senators and representatives.  This was by no means a federal consideration.  This was purely local.

The rulings in question are Baker v. Carr, Reynolds v. Sims, and Wesberry v. Sanders.  The Supreme Court fundamentally changed the legislature of States by dictating their districts and how they were to be represented.  Basically, rural citizens were to be dominated by urbanites.  Degenerate values that breed on city streets would emanate from state capitols and spread throughout the countryside.

More importantly, this reconfiguration would benefit a political party that advocates centralized government.  Having Democrats dominate state legislatures, they would draw districts that marginalize hard working, liberty loving citizens while packing federal congressional districts with teat squawkers, who are looking for an agent that would steal from his neighbors.

And the battle over big government continues.

Revolution: It Starts With Toilet Paper

The wonders of modern day plumbing, we all take it for granted.  Hardly anyone stops to think and appreciate the porcelain throne.  If you’re like me, once that door shuts, it’s time to do business.  This ain’t no party, this ain’t no disco, this ain’t no foolin around.  It’s game time!

Others will disappear for hours.  Those people I don’t understand.  What are they doing in there, appreciating the ambiance?  Are they planning to redecorate?  What could they possibly be doing that could take up that much time?  Could it be long term financial planning?

But no matter what our proclivities are, all of us know what it’s like when there’s no toilet paper.  First reaction is surprise, followed by despair, and finally anger.  Now experience that realization every day.  It would be enough to start a revolution.  And indeed, that’s what’s happening in Venezuela.  The plebeians have had enough of chapped asses.  They want toilet paper, even if it’s the kind that turns your rump into Peter Cottontail.

It seems that Latin Americas second most revered religion is the Goddess Socialism.  Once the populace discover the wonders of everything “free,” they come to find out their goddess wants sacrificial offerings, such as private property, self-determination, and finally the staples of life.  Yes, Goddess Socialism can be a real bitch.  Or better yet, liberalism’s new word de jour:  bossy.  Look at the lines these people have to endure just to get the basics in life.

Did you notice there wasn’t one portable toilet anywhere along those lines?  I guess those in charge decided since there wasn't any toilet paper to be had, what difference does it make?  Hillary Clinton anyone?

Anarchist, Communist, and Illegal Aliens Celebrate May Day

Anarchist, communist, and illegal aliens celebrated the annual workers of the world holiday. May Day has an American origin, but was roundly denounced throughout the country; others embraced it, such as the old Soviet Union.

May 1st 1886, workers in Chicago demonstrated in the streets. They were demanding an eight hour work day. Most of the protestors were immigrants. Many of them were anarchist and Marxist adherents. When the protest was winding down, the police ordered the crowd to disperse. A bomb was then thrown amongst them, killing seven officers and maiming many others. The incident is known as the Haymarket riot.

The origin of this holiday was conceived in defiance of the law. It’s birth that of blood; and its maturation is Marxism. Communism recognizes no borders. Is it any wonder why illegals and their fellow anarchist have chosen this day to march?

Public officials, such as the Mayor of Los Angeles, are calling for an open borders policy. They believe the enforcement of our immigration laws is unpatriotic and unconstitutional. He believes that foreign nationals have a HUMAN RIGHT to reside in the United States, and have access to tax payer funded services without fear of reprisal.

Are we or are we not a nation of laws? Unfortunately there are forces within this country that are determined to undermine the principles and foundations that our ancestors have so dearly paid for in blood and treasure.

In 1958 President Eisenhower declared May Day as Law Day, in celebration of the country’s founding documents and the Bill of Rights. This was in defiance to the Soviet Union and its designs of world wide communism. Now we have people marching in the streets in solidarity with the very ideologue that is in direct conflict with American way of life.

If we want to see our future, let’s take a look at Greece and their May Day celebrations:

Illegals Riot in Arizona

Governor Jan Brewer signed into law a much needed cure for what is ailing not only Arizona but the rest of the country; a comprehensive measure to ensure the integrity of our borders and citizenship of the United States.

The law would make it illegal for anyone in the state of Arizona that does not have proof of citizenship, or legal permission to be in the United States, i.e. passport or green card. The law also permits police officers to question the status of suspect individuals.

The federal government has failed to uphold their constitutionally mandated obligation of protecting our borders and citizens. Arizona has no other choice but to takeover that responsibility. The citizens of that great state have endured property damage, kidnapping, and death at the hands of foreign invaders.

After the passage of this landmark bill, a horde of illegals demonstrated at the state capitol. A riot almost broke out when the police had to escort a counter-protester in fear that the unruly mob might cause injury or death:

Look at the contrast between these people and the tea partiers. Who is the unruly mob? I seriously doubt that the illegals cleaned up after their mess like the tea partiers.

Are these the type of people that we want as citizens of this country? The Constitution specifically states that the legislature will establish uniform rules for naturalization. These illegals determined for themselves that they will have all of the benefits of a citizen and without our consent.

Barack Obama, another person who decided for himself that he meets the requirements of a natural born citizen despite what our founding fathers thought about children born to a foreign nationals i.e. his father; has made his thoughts known about Arizona's self-preservation law:

Violate the civil rights of who? Since when do illegals have the rights and privileges of a citizen?

Now we have one of the nations biggest haters and race merchants speaking out on behalf of foreign nationals: Al Sharpton. Why does the main stream media give this dirt bag a national forum to spew his hate. Doesn't anyone remember Tawna Brawley?

The American people are beginning to see through the smoke screen that is designed to play upon their sympathies. Are we a nation of laws, or a nation that favors a subset of people, who will perpetuate votes for a party that looks the other way when it benefits their purpose? If we keep going down this road, we will end up just like Venezuela.

SEIU's Grecian Formula

Here is the union thug who would lead us down the road to Greece. Andy Stern would be the one to light the torch and burn down our institutions and way of life.

As of now government workers make more than those of us in the private sector. And here is what happens when these government workers and union thugs don't get their way:

Buyer Beware!!
