Austria to Kick Out Militant Islamists

I don’t know what it is about liberals and their contempt for Western civilization, all I can say is their ideology is a direct threat to our survival. European leaders are on a suicide mission. They are intentionally importing people from Islamic countries who are hostile to their citizens and they don’t seem to care; however, there are exceptions. Austria’s current chancellor is in the process to expel militant Islamists from his country. Here is an excerpt from the Daily Mail:

Austria said today it could expel up to 60 Turkish-funded imams and their families and would shut down seven mosques as part of a crackdown on 'political Islam' that was described as 'just the beginning', triggering fury in Ankara.

Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said the government is shutting a hardline Turkish nationalist mosque in Vienna and dissolving a group called the Arab Religious Community that runs six mosques.

His coalition government, an alliance of conservatives and the far right, came to power soon after Europe's migration crisis on promises to prevent another influx and clamp down on benefits for new immigrants and refugees.

In a previous job as minister in charge of integration, Chancellor Kurz oversaw the passing of a tough 'law on Islam' in 2015, which banned foreign funding of religious groups and created a duty for Muslim societies to have 'a positive fundamental view towards (Austria's) state and society'.

'Parallel societies, political Islam and radicalisation have no place in our country,' Kurz told a news conference outlining the government's decisions, which were based on that law.


These people have no place in Western civilization, period.

Progressive Judges Bastardize the Establishment Clause

Progressives have bastardized almost every aspect of the U.S. Constitution and in particular the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.  Recently, a district court judge in Hawaii deemed President Trump’s travel ban from 5 Islamic countries unconstitutional.  The President’s ban meets the statutory criteria set forth by Congress which has plenary power when it comes to immigration and naturalization.

I am amazed at how woefully ignorant these judges can be when it comes to the original intent and history of the Establishment Clause.  The answer is quite simple, the Framers didn’t want the federal government to force States to finance a national religion i.e. Baptist, Presbyterian, Anglican, Congregationalist, etc. etc.   

Anyone with a modicum of knowledge of early American history is aware that the colonies were forced to support the Church of England through taxation.  Marriages and births were not recognized if colonists didn’t go through the Anglican Church.  This could have serious legal consequences in probate.  The Establishment Clause ensured religious freedom from the federal government.

No one has a right to immigrate into the United States.  Immigration is a political decision that is to be decided through our representatives.  And if we, the American people, decide Muslims are not welcomed into our society, no judge has the constitutional authority to override that decision.

Professor States Islamic Slavery and Rape is a Quid Pro Quo Arrangement

Americans are constantly berated for the original sin of slavery.  The Civil War ended 150 years ago; yet, progressives act as though this institution were alive and well to this day.  If you’re a white Anglo-Protestant Christian then you owe reparations simply because of your skin color.  It doesn’t matter if your ancestors fought for the Union and ultimately the abolishment of an evil institution.  You’re guilty, whitey!

However, if you’re a Muslim then slavery is a benign institution, both master and slave benefit from a quid pro quo arrangement.  That is what Professor George Brown of Georgetown stated in a lecture at the International Institute of Islamic Thought.  Here is an excerpt from Heat Street:

Brown defended slavery, stating, “It’s not immoral for one human to own another human” by comparing it to marriage—a quid pro quo arrangement in which both slave and master benefited from the arrangement.

“I don’t think it’s morally evil to own somebody because we own lots of people all around us and we’re owned by people,” said Brown.

A female attendee asked Brown about the permissibility of sex with slaves, to which the professor stated that “Consent isn’t necessary for lawful sex,” and defined consent as a Western concept that emerged with women’s suffrage and female body autonomy. Brown, he said, believes that marital rape was an invalid concept in Islam.

Had Prof. Brown’s words been spoken by a practicing member of any other religion, they would’ve lost their jobs and shunned out of the academic world

Muhammad codified slavery as he did with almost every aspect of Islamic life including rape.  Why are we allowing this ideology to creep into Western civilization?  Better yet, why are progressives aligning themselves with a people who would enslave and rape them the first chance they get?

Obama's Scorched Earth Policy

Barack Obama has adopted a scorch earth policy in the waning days of his presidency.  He threw Israel - one of our closest allies – into the jihad pit.  Our southern border is flooded with a sea of humanity from the third world.  He is importing Islamic refugees who have nothing but contempt for the West and will spawn a terror like that seen in Europe.  And now he’s trying to delegitimize his successor by manufacturing a crisis with Russia.

Wikileaks founder, Julian Assange has repeatedly stated that Russia had nothing to do with the leaked emails that exposed Democrats as corrupt cheats who have nothing but contempt for the American people.  Here is an excerpt from WND:

Assange reiterated the group's denial that Russia was the source of the Democratic documents released over the summer.

 “Our source is not a state party, so the answer for our interactions is no,” he said.

 In December, Assange told Hannity that the documents the anti-secrecy group received looked “very much like they’re from the Russians” but said his source was not them.

Obama Violates Fictitious Immigration Religious Test Policy

Barack Obama loves to lecture Americans about our Constitution while violating it every chance he gets.  Nowhere in Article II does it state that a president can bypass Congress with a pen and a phone; yet he does it.  Nowhere in the Constitution does it state a president sets immigration policy; Article I gives that distinction to Congress, but that doesn't stop the Anointed One.

So I find it laughable that this self-proclaimed constitutional scholar declares the law of the land does not allow religious test when it comes to immigration.  HA!  That is an outright lie.  The religious test this genius refers to is about holding public office.  Here is an excerpt from Article VI:

But no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States.

Now how it is that no one in the media or a member of the opposition party points this out?  Doesn’t anyone have a copy of the U.S. Constitution?  Does the Constitution matter anymore?

It seems that President Pen and Phone can make up his own constitution and violate it at the same time.  Obama declares there is not a religious test when it comes to immigration in his fictitious constitution.  However, his policies state otherwise.  Here is an excerpt from Frontpage Mag:

Obama had claimed that having religious tests for migration was “shameful” and “not American.” 

“When I hear folks say that, well maybe we should just admit the Christians but not the Muslims,” he huffed from Turkey. His Muslim host country was run by a bigoted sponsor of Islamic terror. 

"We don’t have religious tests,” he insisted.

Except we did and we do. Obama also had religious tests. His religious tests excluded Christians and favored Muslims. That is why his Syrian refugees were between 98% and 99% Muslim with only 68 Christians and 24 Yazidis, even though both groups are real victims of the Muslim religious war.

Syria is 10% Christian and hundreds of thousands have been displaced. Yet only 68 have made it past Obama’s iron curtain. That’s either an Islamic religious test or the world’s greatest coincidence.

Barack Hussein Obama violated the actual religious clause in our Constituton by predicating Muslims should hold prominent positions on advisory boards and other positions in our government instead of Chistians.  This most un-American president seeded our government with terrorist sympathizers who have the ability to dictate policy. 

The nation should celebrate the day this piece of crap leaves office then fumigate these bureaucracies that have been contaminated with un-American totalitarians.

A “SEXY” burka costume advertised on Amazon has been pulled from the site after it prompted furious comments from people offended by the “racist” item.

The cropped tunic came with a plunging neckline and was modelled by a white Caucasian women, complete with a face veil.

It could be bought for just under £20 and was described as a “sexy Saudi burka Islamic costume” with “a lovely soft stretch material”.

Amazon users outraged by the product branded the online store as “disgusting racists”.

One person said: “You’re all disgusting racists. My culture is not your costume.”

Remind me again, what race is Islam?

Obama Opens Gates for Early Phase of Jihad

 Barack Obama is an outspoken apologist for Islam.  He has sought more ways than one to accommodate the “religion” of his father to the point of spiriting tens of thousands of Muslim refugees into our communities at a cost of $20,000 per jihadist.  That doesn’t include food, housing, clothing and educating their children.  That is one hell of a jizya the American people are paying.

Obama has waged his own personal jihad on the United States.  I’m sure the Caliphate will honor this man as one of the great Mohammedians in Islamic history.

Muslims Plot to Destroy Notre Dame

The Obama administration recently celebrated the unwelcomed infiltration of 10,000 Muslim refugees into our communities.  For some reason they believe this is a good thing.  Those who pay attention know better.

Massive Muslim immigration has proven to be an existential threat to countries like France.  They opened their arms and invited a people whose ideology is not only anti-Western but anti-21^st Century and now they’re paying a price for it.

A car filled with gas cylinders was today found parked outside a synagogue in the south of France.

The suspicious vehicle was discovered by police officers after it was left near the Bar Yohaye synagogue in Marseille.

Dozens of worshippers were inside the building and were attending a service on Saturday morning. 

The discovery comes just one week after a similar vehicle - also filled with gas cylinders - was left outside the famous Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris.

These people aren’t just hell bent on murdering priest, Jews and impertinent satirists; they want to destroy national monuments and ultimately the host country’s culture as well.

Pope Francis: The Vicar of Moral Relativism

What a difference a generation makes.  Thirty years ago, we had world leaders like Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher and Pope John Paul II.  Now, look at what we have: Barack Obama, Angela Merkel and Pope Francis.  These people aren’t even a shadow of the titans who brought communism to its knees.  Hell, today’s leaders are the ideological brethren we fought against in the 80’s.

This current crop of world leaders doesn’t believe in a nation state.  They are transnationals with a common ideology, or should we say a common religion which is Leftism.  Dennis Prager articulated this opinion in an article published in National Review.  He denotes their dogma of moral and cultural relativism.  Pope Francis used this flawed logic while explaining his views on a murdered French priest.

Pope Francis made comments last week that reveal the most important single thing you need to know about the modern world: The most dynamic religion of the last hundred years has been leftism. Not Christianity and not Islam. Leftism.

Leftism has taken over the world’s leading educational institutions, the world’s news media, the world’s popular entertainment, and it has influenced Christianity (and Judaism) far more than Christianity (or Judaism) has influenced anything. On July 26, two Muslims slit the throat of a French Roman Catholic priest, Father Jacques Hamel, 86, while he was saying Mass in his church. Five days later, on his plane returning to Rome from World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland, Pope Francis was asked about the French priest and Islam by Antoine Marie Izoarde, a journalist with i.Media, a French Catholic news service:

Catholics are a bit in shock, and not only in France, after the barbarous assassination of Fr. Jacques Hamel — as you know well — in his church while celebrating the Holy Mass. Four days ago you here told us that all religions want peace. But this holy, 86-year-old priest was clearly killed in the name of Islam. So, Holy Father, I have two brief questions: Why do you, when you speak of these violent events, always speak of terrorists, but never of Islam, never use the word Islam? . . . What concrete initiatives can you advise or suggest in order to counteract Islamic violence? Thank you, Holiness.

As reported by the Catholic News Service, this is what Pope Francis responded:

I don’t like to speak of Islamic violence, because every day, when I browse the newspapers, I see violence, here in Italy . . . this one who has murdered his girlfriend, another who has murdered the mother-in-law . . . and these are baptized Catholics! There are violent Catholics! If I speak of Islamic violence, I must speak of Catholic violence.

That kind of logic is what’s killing Western Civilization.  A Catholic may have killed his wife, but I can guarantee you he didn’t do it in the name of Christ.  Jesus didn’t advocate murder.  The Vicar of Christ should be able to make this distinction, but as we’ve stated, Leftism is Pope Francis’ first religion, Catholicism is a distant second or maybe third.

The Islamic Reformation is Here

Politics and religion are the two topics that are toxic to a conversation.  The problem is a serious person can’t avoid talking about the issues of the day, simply because it affects our lives.  Others just want to bury their head in a cell phone and play Pokémon Go all damn day which is fine as long as they don’t vote.  The problem is they do vote.

Unless you’re crawling under a rock to capture Pikachu, one can’t escape the daily murders committed by jihadist.  But whatever you do, don’t blame it on Islam.  None of this violence has anything to do with that religion of peace.  These militants have hijacked a great religion, so we’re told.

One cannot engage in a conversation without the obligatory, Christians have committed just as many atrocities as Muslims.  These apologists can’t resist moral equivalency.  They would rather condemn all religions rather than distinguish the historical context and the philosophical nature of purported crimes.

 

Barack Obama is a master at moral equivalency to the point of embarrassment.  He can’t resist defending Islam.  He imputes contributions and achievements that are incredulous.  I’m waiting for the moment when he declares George Washington the first Imam of the United States.

The simple fact is you can separate Jesus Christ from those who’ve committed atrocities in his name; however, you can’t separate Muhammad from his blood thirsty followers.  Jesus lived a life of peace and forgiveness; Muhammad didn’t and that makes all the difference.

Christianity had its reformation about 500 years ago.  Many are wondering if Islam is capable of reforming itself.  A few contend ISIS, the Muslim Brotherhood, Al-Qaeda, and other like minded groups are the Islamic Reformation.  Samuel Huntington warned us about an Islamic Resurgence in his prophetic book, The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order.

In its political manifestation, the Islamic Resurgence bears some resemblance to Marxism, with scriptural texts, a vision of the perfect society, commitment to fundamental change, rejection of the powers that be and the nation state, and doctrinal diversity ranging from moderate reformist to violent revolutionary.  A more useful analogy, however, is the Protestant Reformation.  Both are reactions to the stagnation and corruption of existing institutions; advocate a return to a purer and more demanding form of their religion; preach work, order, and discipline; and appeal to emerging, dynamic, middle-class people.

Huntington further stated:

To ignore the impact of the Islamic Resurgence on Eastern Hemispheric politics in the late twentieth century is equivalent to ignoring the Protestant Reformation on European politics in the late sixteenth century.

Apologists for Islam will continue to make excuses for this sorry excuse of a religion.  They will continue to advocate for a reformation when in fact it already happened and it’s being displayed for the whole world to see.  

ISIS Clarifies Islam to the Delusional

People who pay attention and try to educate themselves about Islam and this so-called prophet Muhammad are not disillusioned by ISIS and like minded groups.  We are fully aware of what that murderous ideology is about.  Unfortunately, Western leaders are in denial while their citizens are finding out how wrong they are about this “religion of peace.”

ISIS wants us to know what kind of peace Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and even the atheists can expect from the true believers of the prophet Muhammad.

The ISIS author of the “Why We Hate You” piece aims to settle the argument, and “clarify” in “unequivocal terms” that ISIS is Islamic. The author says that those on the “social fringe” who identify Islam with ISIS are correct.

“There are exceptions among the disbelievers, no doubt, people who will unabashedly declare that jihad and the laws of the Shari’ah – as well as everything else deemed taboo by the Islam-is-a-peaceful-religion crowd – are in fact completely Islamic, but they tend to be people with far less credibility who are painted as a social fringe, so their voices are dismissed and a large segment of the ignorant masses continues believing the false narrative,” the article says

A false narrative propelled by fools like Barack Obama, Pope Francis, Angela Merkel and all the other apologists for this demonic faith that has been the bane of humanity since the anti-Christ, Muhammad  contaminated  the Earth with his presence.  There will never be peace as long as Islam exists.

If God created a Hell, Muhammad was surely dragged there.

Manifest Diversity Will Destroy Manifest Destiny

We are witnessing the death throes of a great civilization.  The West has been poisoned by a dangerous concoction of socialist utopianism laced with multiculturalism.  The Age of Aquarius generation is coming to terms with a stark reality their ancestors confronted 500 years ago: an Islamic invasion.  The only difference is today’s Europeans invited them in.  What a bunch of fools.

The United States has her own dimwits leading us down a blood-soaked, primrose path.  Our so-called president is seeding our communities with Mohammedan refugees and it’s not altruistic.  This policy, along with open borders, is politically motivated.  It is part of a divide and conquers strategy which pits a third-world underclass against liberty loving Americans.

Progressives have been on a grand jihad to deny our birthright by forcing us to repudiate our heritage.  They demonize our Christian values and excoriate our founding principles that bestowed a federalist system.  Our very existence is an affront to their delicate sensibilities.

The United States, as it exists today, wouldn’t have been possible had our ancestors been this self-loathing.  They viewed western expansion as Providential.  They saw the hand of God working through them as a means to spread democracy and Christianity.  Even skeptics of that day couldn’t deny Manifest Destiny.  Here is an 1846 editorial published in The Harbinger:

There can be no doubt of the design being entertained by the leaders and instigators of this infamous business, to extend the “area of freedom” to the shores of California, by robbing Mexico of another large mass of her territory; and the people are prepared to execute it to the letter.  In many and most aspects in which this plundering aggression is to be viewed it is monstrously iniquitous, but after all it seems to be completing a more universal design of Providence, of extending the power and intelligence of advanced civilized nations over the whole face of the earth, by penetrating into those regions which seem fated to immobility and breaking down the barriers to the future progress of knowledge, of the sciences and arts: and arms seem to be the only means by which this great subversive movement towards unity among nations can be accomplished…In this way Providence is operating on a grand scale to accomplish its designs, making use of instrumentalities ignorant of its purposes, and incited to act by motives the very antipodes of those which the real end in view might be supposed to be connected with or grow out of.

Critics of that time saw Manifest Destiny as a violation of our values, but deemed it inevitable, or should we say, providential.  Here is what an unapologetic advocate had to say about western expansion:

 "Texas has been absorbed into the Union in the inevitable fulfillment of the general law which is rolling our population westward.... It was disintegrated form Mexico in the natural course of events, by a process perfectly legitimate on its own part, blameless on ours.... (its) incorporation into the Union was not only inevitable, but the most natural, right and proper thing in the world.... California will, probably, next fall away from...Mexico.... Imbecile and distracted, Mexico never can exert any real governmental authority over such a country.... The Anglo-Saxon foot is already on its borders. Already the advance guard of the irresistible army of Anglo-Saxon emigration has begun to pour down upon it armed with the plow and the rifle, and markings its trail with schools and colleges, courts and representative halls, mills and meeting houses. A population will soon be in actual occupation of California, over which it will be idle for Mexico to dream of dominion... All this without agency of our government, without responsibility of our people- -in natural flow of events, the spontaneous working of principles, and the adaptation of the tendencies and wants of the human race to the elemental circumstances in the midst of which they find themselves placed."

Today’s democrats are hell bent on reversing Manifest Destiny.  They are guiding the destruction of this great country by erasing our borders and importing a people whose culture and values are antagonistic to ours.  What more proof do you need when Mexican nationals in sanctuary cities run down and beat up American citizens for attending a political rally?  How many Americans have to die at the hands of jihadists over progressive bumper stickers such as “diversity is what makes America great”? 

Manifest diversity will destroy Manifest Destiny; it’s just a matter of time.

Americans Seek Safe Haven from Second Generation Muslims

Liberals are completely disconnected from reality.  They just don’t seem to comprehend basic truths.  Failed social experiments such as Venezuela don’t faze them.  Violent protesters waving Mexican flags at political rallies don’t give them pause when it comes to porous borders.  And according to our so-called president, Islamic mass murderers are victims of an American gun culture.  It really is unbelievable.

Last week the Charlotte Observer published an editorial praising the Obama administrations illegal dumping of Syrian refugees in our backyard.  As usual, we get the sob stories of how these Muslim families have been persecuted by their fellow Muslims and that these poor innocents are just seeking safety.  Well, what about our safety?

The Orlando mass murderer was a product of Afghan refugees.  The San Bernardino killer was the son of Pakistani immigrants as were a host of other Islamic killers that have spilled innocent American blood.  But somehow that doesn’t seem to register with liberals.

The Obama administration is importing hundreds of thousands of Islamists into the United States.  Here is an excerpt from Breitbart.com:

Between FY 2013 and FY 2014, the number of green cards issued to migrants from Muslim-majority countries increased dramatically – from 117,423 in FY 2013, to 148,810 in FY 2014, a nearly 27 percent increase. Throughout the Obama Administration’s tenure, the United States has issued green cards to an average of 138,669 migrants from Muslim-majority countries per year, meaning that it is nearly certain the United States will have issued green cards to at least 1.1 million migrants from Muslim-majority countries on the President’s watch. Most Islamic killers are second generation men with an identity crisis.  Who’s going to protect Americans from a people who have nothing but contempt for our culture and way of life?  Where is our safe haven?

Welcome to Liberal World!  It’s a magical place where actions have no consequences and everything is free…for liberals that is.  In Liberal World, Obamatons are programmed to instinctively blame others for problems they foist upon themselves and others.  It’s a place where civil liberties violate “safe spaces” and inanimate objects are the cause for violate acts.

 

Our tour begins in the Hall of Special Snowflakes.  You’ll be amazed at the automatons who believe they’re entitled to your paycheck and property.  You’ll be accosted by Cheeto stained college students for “free tuition”; Marxist college professors lecturing for a utopian society; progressive politicians and media pundits accusing you of being a bigot, xenophobic and a climate denier, but most of all you’ll be attacked for being an American.  And if you think that’s harrowing, wait until you run the “White Privilege” gauntlet.  Words cannot describe the stupidity you’ll encounter there.

Next you’ll hop on a little, yellow bus that will take you to that special “religion” called Islam.  You’ll be greeted by President Barack Obama and the call to prayers.  Listen to him lecture you on “our common values” as a conveyor belt of knife wielding Muslim refugees scream, “Allah Akbar” as they collect welfare benefits and demand halal meals and special accommodations so they can pray to their moon god.

 Look out!  That gun just jumped off a table and started shooting people.  Somebody had better disarm American citizens before legions of guns jump into Muslim hands and start killing innocent civilians.  Wow!  Anything can happen in Liberal World.

If you survive the Islamic Cultural Enrichment Center, you’ll be shackled and perp walked to the Central Planners Bizarre.  You’ll be harried by federal government bureaucrats who want to run your life.  Notice the Lois Lerner smirk on their faces and the condescending attitude which is the hallmark of liberalism.  Notice the haughty laugh when asked “Is this America?”

And finally Liberal World ends with a tour of the Democratic Party Headquarters, a place where the Mad Hatter meets the United Nations.  Here is where all the automatons receive their marching orders.  Notice the map on the wall, the United States has no borders, and nonsensical, platitudes are spoken in multiple languages.   Look around.  You’ll notice the rule of law has been replaced by a ruler and the U.S. Constitution has been consigned to a roll in a transgender bathroom.  If this reminds you of a third-world hellhole, that’s because it is!  Congratulations, you just won our teat squawkers gift basket, now you can go stand in that Venezuelan-esque line.

Omar Mateen's Employer Hired by DHS to Traffic Illegal Aliens

The Islamic murderer who went on a killing spree at a gay night club in Orlando, Florida was hired by a company contracted as a coyote for the federal government.  That’s right!  Omar Mateen is an employee of G4S, a security company paid by Homeland Security to traffic illegal aliens throughout the United States.  Here is an excerpt from Judicial Watch.

A security company contracted by the U.S. government is driving the OTMs from the Border Patrol’s Tucson Sector where they were in custody to Phoenix, sources said. The firm is called G4S and claims to be the world’s leading security solutions group with operations in more than 100 countries and 610,000 employees. G4S has more than 50,000 employees in the U.S. and its domestic headquarters is in Jupiter, Florida. Judicial Watch is filing a number of public records requests to get more information involving the arrangement between G4S and the government, specifically the transport of illegal immigrants from the Mexican border to other parts of the country. The photo accompanying this story shows the uniformed G4S guard that transported the OTMs this week from Tucson to Phoenix.

Outraged Border Patrol agents and supervisors on the front lines say illegal immigrants are being released in droves because there’s no room to keep them in detention. “They’re telling us to put them on a bus and let them go,” said one law enforcement official in Arizona. “Just move those bodies across the country.” Officially, DHS denies this is occurring and in fact earlier this year U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner R. Gil Kerlikowske blasted Border Patrol union officials for denouncing this dangerous catch-and-release policy. Kerlikowske’s scolding came in response to the congressional testimony of Bandon Judd, chief of the National Border Patrol Council, the labor union that represents line agents. Judd told lawmakers on the House Judiciary Committee that illegal immigrants without serious criminal convictions can be released immediately and disappear into the shadows. Kerlikowske shot back, telling a separate congressional committee: “I would not stand by if the Border Patrol was — releasing people without going through all of the formalities.”

Muslim Terrorist Exacts Sharia at Gay Night Club in Orlando

It appears we have another Islamic massacre.   This time the slaughter happened at a gay night club in Orlando, Florida.  The murderer is an American citizen born to Afghan parents.  Of course, the murderer’s parents deny this has anything to do with the “religion of peace,” but we know better and we can expect a lot more killings of this nature since Barack Obama is importing as many of them as possible.

American’s are paying a high price for this mass immigration of a people whose culture and values are hostile to Western civilization.  The cost for relocating Syrian refugees to the United States starts off at $20,000 per person.  That doesn’t include welfare benefits. 

Statistics on federal support for refugees, according to the Office of Refugee Resettlement

Pete Hegseth pointed out that a large number of refugees receive further federal support, including food stamps, Medicaid and housing assistance, which could also incentivize refugees to flee to the U.S. as opposed to other destinations.

"I think these numbers will surprise a lot of Americans," Hegseth said. "A lot think, 'Hey, the benefit is being able to come to the land of opportunity, like America.' But most people don't realize there's a lot of money that comes along with it."

Taylor noted that average Americans and legal immigrants don't get the same "federal safety net" as these asylum seekers.
