IPCC Bastardizes Climate Science Reports

I read an editorial this morning by McClatchy CEO and president, Craig Forman about their well-earned designation as fake news distributors. He refuses to acknowledge, or understand, that his industry has been infiltrated by an army of left-wing advocates who have no regard for the tenets of journalism. Sure, he points to a handful of stories where they actually reported the truth, but that doesn’t make up for the bastardization of the news industry.
And that seems to be the general theme when it comes to liberals. They bastardize everything: news, marriage, sex, education, language, religion, politics, weather, economics; you name it they’ve bastardized it. They contaminate everything they touch.
So this brings us to another IPCC scam. Once again, we are told that the state of the planet is in dire straits due to man-made global warming. How many times have we heard this nonsense? How many times have they been wrong?
The Washington Times published an op-ed exposing another fraud this pseudo-governmental agency has foisted upon the world. Here is an excerpt:
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change climate forecasts were wrong from their earliest reports in 1990. They were so inaccurate that they stopped calling them forecasts and made three “projections”: low, medium, and high. Since then, even their “low” scenario projections were wrong.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change created an illusion of certainty about their science, and therefore their forecasts. They let people think that they study all causes of climate change when they only look at human-caused change. That is impossible unless you know and understand total climate change and the mechanisms, and we don’t. It allowed them to ignore all non-human causes of change, including the Sun.
One of the reasons the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change gets away with this is that almost no one reads the underlying science reports. Indeed, the “Final Government Draft” of the underlying science report, which appears on the IPCC Web site, even cautions the reader, “Do Not Cite, Quote or Distribute.”
So that's how they get away with it.
Hey, Craig Forman! If you want to repair your industries reputation, you can begin by exposing this corrupt organization called the IPCC.

Chris Anglin, A Wannabe Emperor in a Black Robe
Earlier this month, I published a blogpost about a scumbag Democrat who’s trying to pass himself off as a constitutional Republican, so as to split the vote in a judicial race in North Carolina. Chris Anglin is his name and every Republican voter should remember the depths of deceit this low-life is willing to go.
Mr. Anglin has published an op-ed in the Charlotte Observer in an attempt to convince the rest of us he’s not a liberal plant trying to skew an election for his comrade, Anita Earls. So let’s critique what he’s written:
This has been a dizzying decade for North Carolinians. Nearly every day we have witnessed attacks on the rule of law and the checks and balances of our democracy at both the federal and state level.
Our legislature has governed like the emperor with no clothes since gaining super majorities. The only check to its overreach has been an independent judiciary, so judicial elections have been a frequent and repeated target of power grabs.
First, N.C. lawmakers eliminated public financing for judicial races, widening the door for big money influence on the courts.
Then they made us the first state in 100 years to make judicial races partisan, including the state Supreme Court. They rigged the ballot order to favor their candidate and eliminated the primary election for this year.
The role of an independent judiciary is not to put a check on the General Assembly. They are to apply the laws that are passed by our elected representatives. An independent judiciary does not mean judges can do as they damn well please. Does this sound like a constitutional Republican to you? It doesn’t to me.
By the way, I applauded the defunding of judicial races. I don’t want my hard earned tax dollars aiding and abetting my political enemies. I also applauded the outing of judicial candidates. I want to know their political philosophy. However, Mr. Anglin doesn't care what voters think. He wants to put a check on our elected representatives.
They have openly expressed a desire to do away with judicial elections altogether and to give the legislature the power to control all judicial seats.
They passed six unneeded, misleading constitutional amendments that will harm voting rights, and strip power from the executive and judicial branches of government. There is nothing transparent, nor conservative about this. It’s just bad governing, putting party and power over the people.
Expressing a desire is not the same thing as doing. Don’t you just love the fact that he’s concerned about stripping power away from the executive and judicial branches when that’s exactly what Mr. Anglin wants to do to the legislative branch! What an astonishing lack of introspection.
As for these constitutional amendments, they have to be approved by the voters of North Carolina. I thought liberals - ahem - believed in democracy. Oh, and what is this blurb about voter rights? Does Mr. Anglin have a problem with voter I.D.? Why that’s not very constitutional Republican of him. Here is the last piece of nonsense written by this fraud.
North Carolinians have a chance to get off this dizzying ride. They can stand up for an independent judiciary and the checks and balances of our democracy by defeating all six unneeded, misleading Amendments, and by electing lawmakers and judges who will fight for the rule of law, not undermine it. I’m confident they will make the right choices.
And if we don't, I'm sure Mr. Anglin and his liberal buddies will find an activist judge to rule these amendments unconstitutional. We've been down this road before. This guy isn't fooling anyone.
Mr. Anglin is a fraud. He doesn’t believe in the rule of law, democracy or a representative republic. Does he not understand that lawmakers make the laws? The only people who can undermine the laws are judicial activist. This guy doesn’t have a concept of how our system of government works. He referred to our elected representatives as emperors without clothes. First of all, there can only be one emperor and if Chris Anglin gets his way, that emperor will wear a black robe.

Federal Government Pimp Ball of 2017
Welcome to the Federal Government Pimp Ball of 2017! All you taxpaying bitches get yo asses in back of of line and let your pimp daddies through. That’s right. No one wants to hear your black eyed, pathetic wailing and moaning about waste, fraud and cronyism. As Bill Clinton said, “You might want to put some ice on that.” Now shut your mouths and let your mac daddies take their rightful places in the front of the bus.
Speaking of mac daddy! Here comes Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae! These two so-called GSO’s are players through and through. How can anyone forget how these two rolled the American people in one of the biggest scams in world history. Not only did they create a housing bubble that crashed and burned; they ended up owning or guaranteeing over 60% of all mortgages in the United States.. Now that’s a player!
But these two pimp masters aren’t through. Now they’re financing single-family rental homes to big Wall Street financial firms and smaller, yet politically connected, businesses that specialize in landlord properties.
So all you taxpaying bitches had better get out there and make that money because your mac daddy government needs to sugar it’s teats.

Food Stamp Fraud Committed by Children and the Dead
Sometimes you come across a story that is so outrageous that you can’t believe it’s true. I’m not talking about this Donald Trump golden showers nonsense. I’m talking about scams that are so brazen that you can’t help but laugh.
It seems like every big caper comes at the expense
of the taxpayer. The latest involves stores owned by children and the dead. Here is an excerpt from the Free Beacon.
We found
that 3,394 authorized SNAP retailers (retailers) used Social Security Numbers
(SSN) that matched SSNs of deceased people,” the inspector general said.
“Additionally, 193 retailers listed owners who were not at least 18 years of
age. While FNS did have some controls to edit or verify SNAP retail owner
information, these controls were not adequate to ensure owner information
accuracy.”
Between October 2013 and June 2015, the
inspector general identified 3,394 stores owned by 1,819 people who were using
SSNs listed on the Social Security Administration’s Death Master File.
“These 3,394 retailers redeemed about
$2.6 billion in SNAP benefits,” the inspector general said. The 193 businesses
that reported child owners redeemed $41 million in food stamps.
“Without accurate retail owner data such
as birth dates and SSNs, [the Food and Nutrition Service] FNS has little
assurance that retailers are who they say they are,” the inspector general
said. “This could leave the program open to abuse by disqualified individuals
and others wishing to hide their identity for possible fraudulent purposes.”
“If indeed some of these retailers are
wholly owned by deceased persons or persons under the age of 18, this situation
could leave FNS with little recourse other than disqualification in the event
that adverse action needs to be taken against a particular retailer,” the
inspector general added
I remember the Weinberg Medicaid scandal in the late
1980’s. This family owned a couple of clinics
where they engineered a $16 million theft.
It was the biggest case of fraud in the 22 year history of Medicaid.
The Weinbergs should have had children registered as
owners. You can’t prosecute minors.

Global Warming Grafters Wound Respected Institutions
This man-made global warming scam will go down as one of the biggest frauds perpetuated in world history. No one will come away clean in this scandal. Institutions will be discredited as nothing more than grafters looking for an easy buck from government agencies that have an agenda. Science will be the biggest casualty of them all.
However, there are a few who have the integrity to
stand up to the global warming bullies.
“A 2008 survey by two German scientists, Dennis Bray and
Hans von Storch, found that a significant number of scientists were skeptical
of the ability of existing global climate models to accurately predict global
temperatures, precipitation, sea-level changes, or extreme weather events even
over a decade; they were far more skeptical as the time horizon increased.”
Other mainstream news sources besides the
National Review have also been courageous enough to speak out against the
global warming propaganda – even the Wall Street Journal published an op-ed
piece in 2015 challenging the Anthropogenic Global Warming (AGW) pseudoscience
being promulgated by global warming proponents.
And, of course, there are the more than
31,000 American scientists (to date) who have signed a petition challenging the
climate change narrative and 9,029 of them hold PhDs in their respective
fields. But hey, Al Gore and his cronies have also ignored that inconvenient
truth, as well.
Many of those scientists who signed the
petition were likely encouraged to speak out in favor of the truth after
retired senior NASA atmospheric scientist John L. Casey revealed that solar
cycles are largely responsible for warming periods on Earth – not human
activity
I find this laughable. I remember making the same arguments around
2004 and I’m by no means a scientist.
One can only shake his head at the destruction these grafters have wrought upon the world.

Duke University's Epic $200 Million Fraud Lawsuit
Duke University is in big trouble. A whistleblower exposed a culture of academic corruption. The federal suit
accuses researchers William Foster and Erin Potts-Kants of fabricating data and
falsifying reports as a means to collect grant money from various government
agencies. This investigation began when
Potts-Kants pled guilty to embezzlement.
Then
Potts-Kant’s troubles got worse. Duke officials took a closer look at her work
and didn’t like what they saw. Fifteen of her papers, mostly dealing with
pulmonary biology, have now been retracted, with many notices citing
“unreliable” data. Several others have been modified with either partial
retractions, expressions of concern, or corrections. And last month, a U.S.
district court unsealed a whistleblower lawsuit filed by a former colleague of
Potts-Kant. It accuses the researcher, her former
supervisor, and the university of including fraudulent data in applications and
reports involving more than 60 grants worth some $200 million. If successful, the suit—brought under
the federal False Claims Act (FCA)—could force Duke to return to the government
up to three times the amount of any ill-gotten funds, and produce a
multimillion-dollar payout to the whistleblower.
This is just
the tip of the iceberg. Can you imagine
how many government grants have financed fraudulent papers propelling this
man-made global warming nonsense?
However, if you believe public universities will pay for their
malfeasance, think again.
Relatively few of
these cases have targeted research universities (see box, below); many allege
fraud in health care or military programs. But that's changing. The FCA
"is increasingly being used to target alleged fraud in a diverse array of
industries, including research and academia," says attorney Suzanne Jaffe
Bloom of Winston & Strawn LLP in New York City. Although recent court
rulings suggest public universities may have some protection from qui tam suits
because they are government entities, private institutions do not. Eleven
private universities, including Duke, are among the top 25 recipients of
federal funding for academic science over the past decade.
It’s good to be the
government.

IRS Commissioner Confesses Agency Aids and Abets Illegal Aliens
It’s that time of year when American workers bend over
and grab their ankles so the federal molesters can rape their wallets. Say goodbye to the meager savings that you scrimped
throughout the year because the D.C. wastrels can’t spend money fast enough on
graft and greed. It’s also that time of
year when Americans discover the nefarious activities of federally sanctioned
predators that have stolen the identities of their fellow citizens and taxpayer
largess. Rest assured, no invasion will
go punished.
What Americans are finding out is the federal
government has more regard for illegal aliens than conservatives. The oprichnikis at the IRS have no problems harassing
and intimidating Tea Party activists, but when it comes to a protected class of
invaders, this agency will go out of its way to accommodate the Golden Horde even
if it means aiding and abetting fraudulent behavior. Senator Dan Coats (R-Ind) extracted the
following confession from IRS Commissioner Koskinen.
"What we learned
is that ... the IRS continues to process tax returns with false W-2 information
and issue refunds as if they were routine tax returns, and say that's not
really our job," Coats said. "We also learned the IRS ignores notifications
from the Social Security Administration that a name does not match a Social
Security number, and you use your own system to determine whether a number is
valid."
Asked to explain those
practices, Koskinen replied, "What happens in these situations is someone
is using a Social Security number to get a job, but they're filing their tax
return with their [taxpayer identification number]." What that means, he
said, is that "they are undocumented aliens … . They're paying taxes. It's
in everybody's interest to have them pay the taxes they owe."
Are you F***ing kidding me?! How can anyone doubt this federal government
has turned on the American people?

Illegal Aliens Defraud American Taxpayers of $750 Million in Obamacare
Fox News has confirmed what most Americans already
knew: illegal aliens are scamming American taxpayers. This time the vehicle is Obamacare.
The report,
produced by Republicans on the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental
Affairs Committee, examined Affordable Care Act tax credits meant to defray the
cost of insurance premiums. It found that as of June 2015, “the Administration
awarded approximately $750 million in tax credits on behalf of individuals who
were later determined to be ineligible because they failed to verify their
citizenship, status as a national, or legal presence.”
The review
found the credits went to more than 500,000 people – who are illegal immigrants
or whose legal status was unclear due to insufficient records.
Isn’t fraud
considered a felony? Isn’t this crime
worthy of deportation, or is that too many to round up?

Feds Charge Business Owner for Reporting Illegal Alien
The politics of illegal aliens is truly
astonishing. These people sneak into our
country, steal identities from American citizens, take our jobs and then act
with a sense of entitlement that is something to behold. Worse, when they get caught, the federal
government defends the invader and prosecutes American citizens who file
criminal complaints against them. The
following is a case that happened in Roxboro, North Carolina.
Miriam Martinez Solais,
28, came to the United States from Mexico illegally eight years ago, seeking a
job that could help provide security for the daughter she left behind.
Solais’ troubles began
after she complained to state labor officials that her boss, Giovanni Scotti
D’Abbusco, cheated her out of thousands of dollars in wages she should have
earned working in the kitchen of his restaurant, Vesuvio’s. What happened next
has sparked battles being fought in three separate court cases.
After Solais complained,
D’Abbusco had her investigated. The investigator he hired soon discovered
Solais had provided fraudulent identification to the restaurant when seeking
employment. The investigator alerted Roxboro police.
Police arrested Solais
on two counts of identity theft and more than 20 counts of obtaining property –
her paychecks – under false pretenses. The U.S. Department of Labor, in turn,
filed a complaint against D’Abbusco, saying he illegally retaliated against
Solais after she complained about her paycheck.
So anyone who reports an
illegal alien can be charged with illegal retaliation? This country is upside down. The only people who are operating in the
shadows are American citizens.

Obama Recruits Doctors to Lecture Patients about Global Warming
Is there anywhere an American can go without being
confronted by White House propaganda?
King Obama isn’t satisfied shoving his agenda down our throats with
executive orders and bureaucratic mandates and regulations. No, he wants doctors to lecture us on the
finer points of global warming while they finger our prostate.
The Daily Caller reported the following:
“We also need doctors, nurses and
citizens, like all of you”President Obama said in a taped speech presented to medical professionals
gathered at the White House, “to get to work to raise awareness and organize
folks for real change.”
The Obama administration has been hard at
work trying to draw a link between global warming and public health issues. The summit included the U.S. Surgeon General, top
administration officials, and public health experts from around the country
telling doctors, nurses and other conference goers how to talk about global
warming with their patients.
The central message: doctors should warn
their patients that global warming could make their health worse.
The last thing I want to hear is someone lecturing me about this fraud while I’m being invaded.

Government Contractor Pleads Guilty to Not Having a Minority Vagina
Have you ever wondered why it takes so long and cost
so much to implement and complete a government funded infrastructure
project? Contractors not only deal with
the hassle of overcoming mountains of bureaucratic red tape, corrupt
politicians and lawsuits by environmental groups, they also have to comply with
political correctness.
A Monroe, NC business owner pleaded guilty to conspiracy
and money laundering charges to federal prosecutors because his company wasn’t
a minority owned business. And as you
can expect, a company that builds roads needs government contracts. Boggs Paving Company submitted the lowest
bid, but the owner didn’t have a vagina or the right skin color. Now, he’s going to jail.
According to the federal indictment,
Boggs and his co-defendants conspired to get federal and state contracts by
claiming a minority-owned small business would do part of the work. Under state
contracting rules, 15 percent of work on such projects must be completed by
minority or female-owned companies.
Prosecutors say millions in payments to a bank account in the
name of Styx Cuthbertson Trucking were later funneled back to Boggs Paving. To
aid the fraud, magnetic decals for Cuthbertson covered the Boggs logo on trucks
at the construction sites.
The Monroe expressway project was not included in the federal
indictment, but records obtained by AP show that Monroe Bypass Constructors
included Styx Cuthbertson Trucking on the 2011 list of minority contractors it
submitted as part of its winning bid.
Charbonneau said Cuthbertson was removed from the state-approved
list of minority contractors on the project.
“As with all major construction projects, NCDOT publicly
advertised this project and awarded this project to the lowest bidder,”
Charbonneau said. “It was not awarded through fraud.”
If you’re a white male business owner, you’d better
have an understanding that your kind is persona non grata. However, you could pull a Bruce Jenner and
become a woman or an inverse Michael Jackson by darkening your skin and perming
your hair. I hear this transformation is
becoming all the rave.

Global Alarming: Liberals with Doctorate Degrees
Are liberals capable of honesty? The scam de jour is a fabricated survey by a
gay activist with a PH.D. The American
Spectator reported the following:
Two aspiring political
scientists exposed a widely referenced study, which maintained that homosexuals
discussing gay marriage with citizens proved “capable of producing a cascade of
opinion change,” as a total fraud.
Berkeley grad student
Joshua Kalla and Stanford professor David Broockman, eager to add to the
project with their own study, discovered that the survey firm identified in
“When Contact Changes Minds: An Experiment on Transmission of Support for Gay
Equality” maintained “no familiarity with the project,” “never had an employee
with the name of the staffer” believed as assisting the research, and “denied
having the capabilities” to conduct such an endeavor.
The debunking unleashed
myriad reactions, none as gleeful as the ones that greeted the initial study
late last year.
“Perhaps he meticulously
planned the whole thing with malice aforethought,” Duke sociologist Kieran
Healy speculates about
Michael LaCour, the gay UCLA Ph.D. accused of fabricating data. Widener
University law professor John Culhane, lashing out at how he imagines conservatives
will spin the news, argues at
Politico.com that proof of the concoction merely “tells us… that the gay
canvasser study should be tried again; properly, this time. Not that gay
canvassers have no effect.”
Doesn’t this sound
familiar? One of the biggest scams
perpetuated on the world is another survey that touts 97% consensus on man-made
global warming. Forbes reported the
following:
Global warming alarmists and their allies in the
liberal media have been caught doctoring the results of a widely cited paper
asserting there is a 97-percent scientific consensus regarding human-caused
global warming. After taking a closer look at the paper, investigative
journalists report the authors’ claims of a 97-pecent consensus relied on the
authors misclassifying the papers of some of the world’s most prominent global
warming skeptics. At the same time, the authors deliberately presented a
meaningless survey question so they could twist the responses to fit their own
preconceived global warming alarmism.
The only thing I’m alarmed about is a liberal
with a doctorate degree.

N.C. Audit Uncovers Medicaid Abuse
As you can expect, a North Carolina state auditor
found abuse, nepotism and possible fraud in the Department of Health and Human
Services. Medicaid, once again, is the program where suspect activity has taken place.
Carolina Journal reported the following:
The audit placed
much of the blame for the mayhem in OMMISS on now-retired director Angeline
Sligh, the subject of a 2013 audit detailing $237,500 in
overpayments.
According to the audit, Sligh chose temporary staffing agencies outside of normal channels, paying them $598,673 for commissions that exceeded the rates charged by the state-operated temporary staffing service. Employees collected $234,724 in unjustified overtime, and ineligible employees received $26,026 for holiday pay.
In all, 5,841 hours of overtime were recorded by temp workers “without documented justification,” the audit said. Undocumented overtime was a problem cited in past audits.
Those employees “could not provide reasonable explanations” to justify the overtime, according to the audit. Some cited making copies or name tags, answering phones, and “lots and lots of typing” for their overtime.
By going to an outside temp agency, Sligh was not constrained by state rules limiting temporary employees to 12 months of service. Some temp workers stayed with the agency for years.
The audit said Sligh’s “abuse of her authority through the hiring process caused these excessive costs.”
According to the audit, Sligh hired 15 people connected to her, including her daughter, ex-husband, and ex-husband’s wife. Six were members of her church, and one was a son of a fellow church member. Also hired under Sligh’s watch were a neighbor’s daughter, her hairdresser’s sister, and two ex-colleagues at St. Augustine’s University.
The audit said agency paid 12 temporary employees $807,741 “more than their qualifications justified,” according to the Office of State Human Resources. In numerous instances Sligh overruled the temp agency’s determination of appropriate pay scales and directed them to beef up the amounts.
As examples from July 1, 2011, to June 30, 2014, the audit noted, one manager was paid $89.39 per hour, 78 percent more than appropriate, and $244,420 more than justified. A business analyst should have received $33.57 per hour but got $70, a 109 percent increase, resulting in $199,183 in excessive payments. A second business analyst should have been paid $23.31 per hour, received $36, and collected $60,404 more than justified. A health insurance claims consultant collected $74 hourly, or 73 percent above a justifiable level, for $103,484 more overall.
The audit said Sligh improperly received 2,120 hours of compensatory time to which she was not entitled. The comp time allowed Sligh to save her sick time and vacation days, potentially inflating her retirement benefits that are calculated partially on those accumulated days. Wos denied the comp time bumped up Sligh’s retirement pay.
The audit admonished DHHS Chief Information Officer Joe Cooper, Sligh’s supervisor, who signed off on the comp time even though he was informed by department HR officials that Sligh was not entitled to the perk.
Meanwhile,
democrats are throwing temper tantrums because republicans refused to expand
this money pit agency without reforming it. Go figure.

Jonathan Gruber Suspected of "Phantom Billing"
Jonathan Gruber, the acclaimed Obamacare architect
and suspect grafter, is under investigation for “phantom billing.” It just keeps getting better and better. Breitbart.com reported the following:
On Monday Darcie Johnston, head of
Vermonters for Health Care Freedom, told Breitbart News that Gruber may have a
“phantom billing” problem.
“Jonathan Gruber
has failed to provide any evidence that the $80,000 he’s been paid by the state
of Vermont for 800 hours of work he claimed was performed by unidentified
research assistants was actually performed, or that these research assistants
even exist and were paid,” Johnston told Breitbart News.
“There’s a term
in health care for the practice of billing for services not provided. It’s
called ‘phantom billing,’ and when doctors or health care providers do this,
they face criminal charges.”
Johnston’s
comment expands the potential number of legal problems which Gruber may face in
connection with his lucrative consulting business, from which he earned an
estimated $5 million over the past four years in federal
and state contracts.
On Friday, white collar criminal defense attorney Brady Toensing told Breitbart News, “if [an] investigation
uncovers sufficient evidence that Gruber padded his bills, he could be charged
by the state with contract fraud or by the feds with mail or wire fraud.”
Will an Obama crony get jail time for fraud? I doubt it.
Too bad, they don’t go after all the green energy grafters that have
raided the U.S. treasury.

Climate Change Grafters Push for More Regulations
Barack Obama’s cadre of totalitarians and political
grafters has released a dire climate change report. It’s
all doom and gloom. The world is going to hell in a hand basket, because
Americans are a bunch of selfish, energy loving people who enjoy toilet paper,
indoor plumbing, central air, and the ability to drive a car to work.
Obama’s
leading henchman is paving the way for a Venezuelan-esque economy:
Podesta told
reporters during a briefing at the White House that President Obama is
committed to moving forward with controversial Clean Air Act regulations to cut
carbon dioxide emissions for all new coal and gas-fired power plants.
Republicans have branded the president's climate plan as
a "war on coal" and have sponsored legislation to roll back planned
Environmental Protection Agency greenhouse gas standards they arguer the Clean Air Act. All I would say is that those have zero percent chance of working. We're committed t will harm
the nation's economy.
"They'll find various ways, particularly in the
House, to try to stop us from using the authority we have undeo moving forward with those rules," Podesta said.
The report also comes as the administration delays a
decision on the controversial Canada-to-Texas Keystone pipeline.
Environmentalists oppose it, but Republicans and some Democrats are pressuring
the administration to approve it.
The climate report looked at regional and state-level
effects of global warming, compared with recent reports from the United Nations
that lumped all of North America together. A draft of the report was released
in January 2013, but this version has been reviewed by more scientists, the
National Academy of Science and 13 government agencies and had public comment.
Every
principle involved in this report has a vested interest in passing this fraud
and it has nothing to do with global warming.
These scoundrels have been fleecing the American taxpayers far too long.

Dead Patients and Illegal Aliens Scam Medicare
We already know how inefficient and wasteful the
federal government is. Here is another
stat to emphasize the amount of known fraud that persists through Medicare:
Medicare paid $23
million for dead patients in 2011 and $29 million for drug benefits for illegal
immigrants from 2009 to 2011, according to a report Thursday from the Health
and Human Services inspector general.
The investigators said Medicare has
safeguards to try to stop payments to dead patients, but it still ended up
sending out the $23 million anyway.
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid
Services (CMS) — the same agency that is struggling to fix the
broken Obamacare website — acknowledged the problems and said it will try to
take steps to fix them.
And these central
planners want to take over the whole health care system? God forbid.

North Carolina's DHHS Plagued With Medicaid Corruption
North Carolina’s Medicaid system is a mess. Mismanagement, fraud and abuse plague this
system. As usual, the Carolina Journal
is in the forefront on reporting this disaster:
In all, $580,758 in
overtime compensation was paid, mostly to manager- and executive-level
personnel in the Medicaid Management Information System from April 1, 2008, to
July 31, 2012, without being sent through required procedural channels, the
audit found. The audit did not name the employees involved. That is a “longstanding practice,” Auditor’s Office spokesman Bill Holmes said. “It will be up to the governor and legislature to make any decisions about reimbursement or discipline.”
Neither the governor’s office nor the state Department of Health and Human Services would identify the others who collected the improperly paid overtime. Nor would they say whether reimbursement might be sought or disciplinary action taken.
Information from DHHS said that the audit was done to ensure proper procedures and processes are being followed rather than focusing on individuals. State law precludes release of any information regarding disciplinary action or reimbursement, according to the department information.
Managers generally are exempt from collecting overtime in state government. Exceptions can be approved for well-documented special and emergency circumstances, for which precise details and timelines are supposed to be spelled out.
“We found that Office of State Personnel verbally approved an exception but did not document the terms of the exceptions. We also found inadequate controls and reviews within the Department of Health and Human Services’ manual processing of overtime pay that led to overpayments and other leave and payroll errors,” state Auditor Beth Wood wrote in the preface to the audit report.
It is the second audit in two weeks that Wood’s department has released condemning DHHS operations.
Where is the Charlotte
Observer when it comes to reporting this criminal activity? Oh, that’s right. They’re too busy kissing the Democratic Party
and Obama’s ass.

Obama Failed E-Verify?
Barack Obama is ineligible to work in the United
States; yet eligible to be president. Is
it any wonder this man refuses to enforce our immigration laws.
