Washington D.C.'s War on American Citizens

Do you get the feeling that Washington D.C. has declared war on American citizens?  It seems that way to me.  Government agencies target those who don’t agree with big government elites who run that town.  To this day not one person has been prosecuted for the IRS or Fast and Furious scandals.  If you’re a government bureaucrat or politically connected with the Obama administration, you can do whatever you damn well please without consequence.

Christians can no longer own a business and practice their faith.  Federal judges have deemed gay marriage a civil right by bastardizing the 14th Amendment and trampling over the First.  These activist judges have deemed states’ constitutions, unconstitutional.  Federalism, the basis of our Constitution, is on the brink of being obliterated.  So your property/business has become public domain and your state is a vassal to the federal ummah.  Are you feeling any freer?

And if that isn’t infuriating enough, Emperor Obama declared he will grant de facto amnesty to millions of illegal aliens without consent from our elected representatives.  King Obama heard from the two thirds who didn’t bother to vote, and apparently they want a Hugo Chavez.

What are republicans going to do when King Obama waves his scepter and legalizes all of these foreign nationals?  They already took impeachment and “shutting down the government” off the table.  So much for Article One Section Eight of the U.S. Constitution.

Americans have to ask themselves, are we citizens or subjects?  The Washington D.C. establishment thinks us the latter.

Univision Doing the Job the Mainstream Media Refuses to Do

Here's another job that Americans refuse to do:  reporting.  The major media has abdicated their fiduciary responsibilities.  Now, we are dependent upon a Latino news organization for the facts on the Fast and Furious scandal, which will be airing on September 30, 2012 at 7:00 PM.

Thanks a lot mainstream media.  You've proven yourselves to be nothing more than a propaganda machine for the Democratic Party.  You guys are as corrupt as the Mexican drug cartels.

Rep. Steny Hoyer: GOP is a Threat to the Nation

The GOP is a threat to the nation? Who was it that forced dealers to sell guns to known criminials without any means of tracing these weapons? Remind me again who authorized Fast and Furious and didn't tell Mexican officials or border agents about this program.

No Mr. Hoyer, the GOP is not a threat to this nation. If anyone is a threat to the citizens of this country, it is you and the fascist in the Obama administration.

NRA Will Hold Democrats Accountable for Eric Holder Contempt Vote

Allegations are being made that operation Fast and Furious was a scheme to subvert our Second Amendment rights. And that the Obama administration was counting on the murders of innocent Americans such as Agent Brian Terry to invoke public outrage. This kind of scandal would act as a catalyst for strict gun control measures.

Democrats dismiss this as a preposterous conspiracy theory. But is it? We all know the totalitarian elements that make up this party. Is it so absurd to believe that prominent members of their party would conspire to take away our guns? Does anyone remember the actions of the Clinton administration?

The NRA hasn’t forgotten. And they are going to make damn sure that the Democrats hold Eric Holder accountable for his dismissive attitude to Congress.

The NRA jumped into the fray last week, sending a letter to every House lawmaker condemning Holder's "open defiance" of the GOP probe and warning that the group will be watching closely as lawmakers cast their votes on contempt.

Chris Cox, the NRA's chief lobbyist, also accused the administration of launching the Fast and Furious program as an effort to promote tougher gun control laws.

"The reason we support the contempt resolution is the same reason we first called for Attorney General Holder’s resignation more than a year ago: the Department’s obstruction of congressional oversight of a program that cost lives in support of an anti-gun agenda," Cox wrote.

The NRA's move puts intense pressure on some threatened Democrats to buck their party and vote in favor of the contempt citation. At least four Democrats — Reps. Jim Matheson (Utah), John Barrow (Ga.), Collin Peterson (Minn.) and Nick Rahall (W.V.) — have already said they'll support the measure.

Many Democrats are not happy that the NRA is weighing in on this issue. But then again, is anyone surprised by their protestations.

The Two Different Universes of Fast and Furious

Bill Whittle’s summary on Fast and Furious is about as good as it gets. This Obama program is about ideology. The Democrats have been salivating over the prospect of taking away our guns for years. One only has to remember the early days of the Clinton administration, and how they fervently tried to take our Second Amendment rights away from us. Does anyone remember Waco?

But of course the know-nothings have to play the conspiracy theory and hate cards, as exhibited by Bill Maher and Rachel Maddow. According to these libtards, republicans don’t care about dead Mexicans or for that matter border patrol agents. I would argue that it’s the Democrats that couldn’t care less. And he makes my point with his professed ignorance of Fast and Furious.

If Bill Maher cared about the lives of Mexicans or our citizens, he would’ve familiarized himself with this scandal a long time ago. But he’s having too much fun putting down republicans. What a hack.

National Border Patrol Council Calls for Eric Holder Resignation

Every administration has had congressmen call for the resignation of a cabinet member, but I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of a law enforcement association demand the resignation of an Attorney General of the United States.

The National Border Patrol Council, which represents all 17,000 of the agency’s non-supervisory agents, called for the resignation Monday of Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. for his role in the botched “Fast and Furious” gunrunning operation that resulted in the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

Council President
George E. McCubbin III, a 25-year Border Patrol veteran himself, described Mr. Holder’s actions in the case as “a slap in the face to all Border Patrol agents who serve this country,” adding that the attorney general has shown “an utter failure of leadership at the highest levels of government.”

Talk about no confidence. This is amazing.

Michelle Malkin Stomps Juan Williams into the Ground

Juan Williams should've learned a long time ago that you don't mess with conservative women. Michelle Malkin ate his lunch. When will he learn?

ATF and Justice Department Conspired Against Lawful American Gun Dealers

The Fast and Furious case gets even more sordid. Officials at the ATF and the Justice Department conspired to subvert the Second Amendment rights of Americans. Memos have revealed that the Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agency were secretly setting up gun dealers for a fall through their “gunwalking” program. CBS News reported the following:

In Fast and Furious, ATF secretly encouraged gun dealers to sell to suspected traffickers for Mexican drug cartels to go after the "big fish." But ATF whistleblowers told CBS News and Congress it was a dangerous practice called "gunwalking," and it put thousands of weapons on the street. Many were used in violent crimes in Mexico. Two were found at the murder scene of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

ATF officials didn't intend to publicly disclose their own role in letting Mexican cartels obtain the weapons, but emails show they discussed using the sales, including sales encouraged by ATF, to justify a new gun regulation called "Demand Letter 3". That would require some U.S. gun shops to report the sale of multiple rifles or "long guns." Demand Letter 3 was so named because it would be the third ATF program demanding gun dealers report tracing information.

On July 14, 2010 after ATF headquarters in Washington D.C. received an update on Fast and Furious, ATF Field Ops Assistant Director Mark Chait emailed Bill Newell, ATF's Phoenix Special Agent in Charge of Fast and Furious:

"Bill - can you see if these guns were all purchased from the same (licensed gun dealer) and at one time. We are looking at anecdotal cases to support a demand letter on long gun multiple sales. Thanks."

Some gun dealers cooperated with much trepidation. Here are some emails voicing their concerns:

In April, 2010 a licensed gun dealer cooperating with ATF was increasingly concerned about selling so many guns. "We just want to make sure we are cooperating with ATF and that we are not viewed as selling to the bad guys," writes the gun dealer to ATF Phoenix officials, "(W)e were hoping to put together something like a letter of understanding to alleviate concerns of some type of recourse against us down the road for selling these items."

ATF's group supervisor on Fast and Furious David Voth assures the gun dealer there's nothing to worry about. "We (ATF) are continually monitoring these suspects using a variety of investigative techniques which I cannot go into detail."

Two months later, the same gun dealer grew more agitated.

"I wanted to make sure that none of the firearms that were sold per our conversation with you and various ATF agents could or would ever end up south of the border or in the hands of the bad guys. I guess I am looking for a bit of reassurance that the guns are not getting south or in the wrong hands...I want to help ATF with its investigation but not at the risk of agents (sic) safety because I have some very close friends that are US Border Patrol agents in southern AZ as well as my concern for all the agents (sic) safety that protect our country."

Little did this business owner know that the ATF and Justice Department were setting him and his industry up for a fall.

Charlotte Observer and Associated Press Try to Pin Fast and Furious on Bush Administration

Does the Charlotte Observer do any fact checking whatsoever? The Disturber published an Associated Press article, basically deflecting the Fast and Furious scandal onto the Bush administration:

AP Exclusive: Second Bush-era gun-smuggling probe

WASHINGTON A second Bush administration gun-trafficking investigation has surfaced using the same controversial tactic for which congressional Republicans have been criticizing the Obama administration.

The tactic, called "gun walking," is already under investigation by the Justice Department's inspector general and by congressional Republicans, who have criticized the administration of Democratic President Barack Obama for letting it happen in an operation called "Fast and Furious".

Emails obtained by The Associated Press show how in a 2007 investigation in Phoenix, agents of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives - depending on Mexican authorities to follow up - let guns "walk" across the border in an effort to identify higher-ups in gun networks. Justice Department policy has long required that illicit arms shipments be intercepted whenever possible.

The 2007 probe operated out of the same ATF office that more recently ran the flawed Operation Fast and Furious. Both probes resulted in weapons disappearing across the border into Mexico, according to the emails. The 2007 probe was relatively small - involving over 200 weapons, just a dozen of which ended up in Mexico as a result of gun-walking. Fast and Furious involved over 2,000 weapons, some 1,400 of which have not been recovered and an unknown number of which wound up in Mexico.

Earlier this month, it was disclosed that the gun-walking tactic didn't begin under Obama, but was also used in 2006 under his predecessor, George W. Bush. The probe, Operation Wide Receiver, was carried out by ATF's Tucson, Ariz., office and resulted in hundreds of guns being transferred to suspected arms traffickers.

So the Associated Press and the Charlotte Observer is actually trying to blame Bush for this malfeasance? Well, before all you wussie liberals start to wet your pants, may I slap you across the face with a dose of reality? Katy Pavlick of Townhall.com is someone who did her homework:

The problem is, the "same tactic" under heavy criticism by the House Oversight Committee was not used under President Bush. Operation Fast and Furious started in Fall 2009 and was an offshoot of the Project Gunrunner program implemented under the Bush Administration. Project Gunrunner started as a pilot program in Laredo, Texas and went national in 2006. Project Gunrunner involved the surveillance of straw purchasers buying weapons, but those purchasers were immediately apprehended before crossing back into Mexico or tranferring arms to dangerous criminals. Shortly after Obama took office, Operation Fast and Furious allowed straw purchasers working for Mexican drug cartels to purchase mass amount of weapons in the United States and then take them back to Mexico in addition to allowing them to be lost at stash houses and tranferred to dangerous cartel members. ATF agents who have testified before Congress about the program said the idea was to "trace" those weapons, but the tracing ended up being a total failure as GPS batteries ran out and thousands of guns were lost in Mexico and only found at final violent crime scenes. Did both operations allow for straw purchasers to buy guns under ATF/DOJ surveillance? Yes, however, the key difference between Operation Fast and Furious under Obama and Project Gunrunner under Bush is that under Obama guns were allowed to go back into Mexico without interdiction or arrests. According to Chairman of the House Oversight Committee Darrell Issa, straw purchaser arrests and prosecutions have been way down under this administration, so much so it's almost as if the Obama Justice Department has no interest in prosecuting illegal straw purchasers at all. (A straw purchaser is someone who buys guns illegally for those who cannot buy them. In this case, cartels members can't buy guns, so they hired "straw purchasers" to buy weapons for them)

Malfeasance doesn’t just exist in the Obama administration; the mainstream media is rife with it as well.
