The Daunting Task of De-Obamafication of the Justice Department

Who says Washington D.C. can’t keep a secret? We thought it was peaches and cream during Obama’s tenure in office. The country was led to believe rainbows, unicorns and dancing leprechauns imbued the West Wing. The whole world was at one with an administration it was waiting for. But, of course, it was all a lie. Thanks in large part to the mainstream media.

What we do know is these bureaucracies are highly politicized. These agencies attract people who aren’t exactly friendly to our federalist system. Bureaucrats, by nature, are antagonistic to our worldview. If you don’t believe that ask a Republican on how well these agencies cooperate with our elected representatives. They’ll disabuse you of any notion of a government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Considering how the Obama administration politicized every aspect of our lives, we hoped federal law enforcement could withstand their assault. Come to find out, the rank and file were just as pissed off as the rest of us. The long awaited IG report revealed a major rift between the Justice Department and FBI agents particularly over an investigation of the Clinton Foundation. Here is an excerpt from the Washington Times:

The report describes the relationship between the two agencies as “being under great stress,” and said Mr. McCabe was caught in “an increasingly acrimonious fight for control between the Justice Department and FBI pursuing the Clinton foundation case.”

Former agents said the acrimony started before the election.

One said the relationship fractured under Mr. Holder as agents in field offices across the country did not trust Justice Department lawyers, whom they saw as Washington bureaucrats trying use investigations for political advantage.

The Justice Department, meanwhile, had become frustrated at the rank-and-file agents not always following orders and, at times, strongly disagreeing with superiors.

“I know from talking to some agents in the FBI at that time that there conflicts between the Holder DOJ and its priorities and how the FBI wanted to work cases,” said Danny Defenbaugh, a 33-year FBI agent who retired in 2002.

“The FBI had always taken pride in following the evidence to where it would lead and never allowing politics into their investigation decisions,” Mr. Defenbaugh continued. “But then the DOJ at times would say, ‘we don’t want you to do this.’”

If the Clintons are involved, you can damn well bet there is something shady going on. These people leave a wake of destruction wherever they go. I’m completely amazed at how these two have escaped prison.

The prognosis for de-Obamafication of the U.S. Justice Department is daunting. Again, an excerpt from the Washington Times:

Mr. Adams said it could take years to repair the division, and it could require a housecleaning of leadership at both the FBI and Justice Department.

“The problem is so vast and deeply imbedded in the Justice Department, it will be an extremely difficult thing to dislodge,” Mr. Adams said.

Lew Schiliro, the former head of the FBI’s New York field office, said Attorney General Jeff Sessions needs to take the reins.

“It has to be Sessions,” he said. “The bureau reports to him and the Justice Department reports to him, yet he’s been silent on the issue. He needs to be a strong attorney general.”

I like Attorney General Jeff Sessions, but I don’t think he’s the man for the job.

Obama Admin. Bugged House of Rep's Cloak Room

Here is another revelation the mainstream media hasn’t reported:  the Obama administration bugged the House of Representatives cloak room.  Here is an excerpt from Gateway Pundit.

Congressman Devin Nunes (speaking to Hugh Hewitt) : No, I absolutely do not, especially after this wiretapping incident, essentially, of the House of Representative. I don’t think people are focusing on the right thing when they talk about going after the AP reporters. The big problem that I see is that they actually tapped right where I’m sitting right now, the Cloak Room.

If a republican president had done that it would be impeachment and prison.

California Hires AG Eric Holder to Defend Sanctuary Cities

You have to hand it to these political grafters.  They’re well connected and know how to fleece the taxpayers.  Disgraced AG, Eric Holder, has landed a lucrative gig with California’s state government hauling in a hefty $25,000 a month litigating on behalf of illegal aliens against American citizens.

California is projected to have a $1.6 billion budget deficit by next summer; yet, they can afford to squander money defending invaders.  Adding insult to injury, one-third of California’s state budget if funded by the American taxpayers!  Now that takes balls.

One must ask, why do Democrats defend sanctuary cities?  The answer is simple.  The Census Bureau doesn’t distinguish citizens from illegal aliens, therefore states with higher populations are able to appropriate more representation in Congress and receive a higher allocation of taxpayer dollars.  And because of this bastardization of the census, California has 55 Electoral College votes which far exceed the second highest which is Texas with 38 electors.

What it comes down to is money and power and citizens are damned.

Eric Holder "The Cowardly AG" Resigns

Eric Holder has resigned.  Americans who believe in the rule of law and fidelity to the Constitution are sighing with relief.  This cowardly attorney general used race as a cudgel.  It was under his watch that Black Panthers intimidated voters at the polls and “Beat Whitey Night” was tolerated, yet, if a thug gets shot and killed after he robs a store and attacks a police officer, it becomes a federal case simply because the perp was black.

Eric Holder is an angry man who sees everything through a prism of race.  States couldn’t clean up their voter rolls because it was racist.  Voter ID laws were deemed racist.  The Tea Party was considered racist.  These concerned citizens were constantly harassed by the IRS and other government agencies even the DOJ has been implicated.

Laws and the Constitution mean nothing to Eric Holder.  This progressive avenger ignored DOMA and forced states and citizens to conform to HIS vision of social justice.  There is no separation of powers with this man.  He sued states that refused to fund Planned Parenthood.  And when states tried to protect their citizens from the ravages of illegal immigration, Holder‘s DOJ sued them too.

Eric Holder’s disdain for our elected representatives is legendary.   The cowardly attorney general was held in contempt of Congress, the first time in U.S. history, for refusing to cooperate in an investigation into the deaths of border agents in the Fast and Furious scandal.  Days after a judge demanded the DOJ hand over documents, the cowardly AG resigned.  Law enforcement officers have to be relieved.  This has to be the first attorney general to hold their profession in contempt.

During the Diane Rehm’s Show on NPR, two libtards discussed Eric Holder’s legacy.  They claimed he was a champion for civil rights.  I laughed out loud.  Because of Eric Holder and Barack Obama, race relations have been set back for decades.

We all remember when the attorney general accused Americans of being cowards when it comes to race.  I say Eric Holder is the cowardly AG who used race as a means to attack and denigrate anyone who disagreed with his sense of social justice.

Federal Court Rules NC Voter ID Law Stands

The Obama administration suffered another body blow.  A federal court struck down; once again, Attorney General Eric Holder’s nonsensical assault on North Carolina’s voter ID law.  Here is an excerpt from the Courts opinion:

After careful consideration, the court concludes that Defendants’ motion for judgment on the pleadings should be denied in its entirety. Plaintiffs’ complaints state plausible claims upon which relief can be granted and should be permitted to proceed in the litigation. However, a preliminary injunction is an extraordinary remedy to be granted in this circuit only upon a “clear showing” of entitlement.

After thorough review of the record, the court finds that as to two challenged provisions of SL 2013-381 [ NC’s voter ID law], Plaintiffs have not made a clear showing they are likely to succeed on the merits of the underlying legal claims. As to the remaining provisions, the court finds that even assuming Plaintiffs are likely to succeed on the merits, they have not demonstrated they are likely to suffer irreparable harm - a necessary prerequisite for preliminary relief - before trial in the absence of an injunction. Consequently, the motions for preliminary injunction and the United States’ request for federal observers will be denied. This resolution renders the motions to exclude expert testimony moot.

I can hear them now. Libtards, near and far, decrying the outrage that people will actually have to show an ID at the polls.  All the Observers that infest this state will publish editorials weeping about how Democrats are unfairly targeted.  Because, you know, a welfare recipient is required to have an ID to receive benefits, but somehow they’re oppressed when it’s required to vote.  Oh, the humanity!

Time to Impeachment Americas Terrorist: U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder

Republican members of Congress are becoming exasperated with the outright lawlessness in Washington D.C.  Government bureaucrats have a green light to violate our civil rights, and no one can do a damn thing about it.  This is what happens when we have an imperial president.

One congressman is demanding impeachment proceedings for U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder.  TPNN reported the exasperation of one congressman:

“Because if we don’t have the civil application of the law, what are we doing here?” Gosar asked rhetorically, referring to Holder’s laundry list of lawless acts.

Congressman Gosar is one of 27 congressmen who have already signed Articles of Impeachment against Holder.

“I give you, an unelected bureaucrat who is violating the Constitution, and that is Eric Holder,” Gosar told Tim while stating that both parties are guilty of building a government bureaucracy that “answers to no one.”

Gosar said that impeaching is not the end game, but that Congress must also take responsibility for holding accountable bureaucrats, like the Obama IRS’s Lois Lerner, who are “violating the Constitution and getting away with it.”

At least republicans are awakening to this bureaucratic monstrosity they helped to create.  Now what are we going to do about it?

Democrats Bastardize Citizenship

F.A. Hayek wrote a foreword in his 1956 American paperback edition, On the Road to Serfdom, about the machinations of progressives and their mastery at bastardizing our language.  Time after time, we’ve witnessed Democrats manipulate truth and words as a means to disseminate, obfuscate, and distract the citizens of this country.  They really do not have a high opinion us.  So much so, they want to change the electorate right under our noses and without our consent.

We have a man-made disaster on our southern border.  Thousands of women and children from Central America have come to the United States seeking asylum.  They are not the only ones.  Teenage gang members are demanding we accept them as well.  Here is what one MS13 gang member had to say to a border agent:

Chris Cabrera, vice president of the National Border Patrol Council Local 3307 in the Rio Grande Valley, said that confirmed gang members in Mexico — including those from Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13) — are coming into the country to be reunited with their families, National Review reported Friday.

“If he’s a confirmed gang member in his own country, why are we letting him in here? … I’ve heard people come in and say, ‘You’re going to let me go, just like you let my mother go, just like you let my sister go. You’re going to let me go as well, and the government’s going to take care of us,’” Mr. Cabrera told the magazine.

According to Attorney General Eric Holder, these illegal aliens are some of the most vulnerable in our society, even known gang members.  He and his fellow transnationalist in the Obama administration are going to make damn sure these unfortunates receive all benefits due to citizens of the United States.

First of all, these illegal aliens are not members of our society.  They are invaders.  Notice how our own Attorney General bastardized the language to justify this invasion.  This is absolutely shameful.  But why stop there?  Why not allow them to vote?  That’s what a New York politician has proposed.

(Reuters) - A New York lawmaker wants to grant many of the rights of citizenship to millions of illegal immigrants and non-citizen residents, including the right to vote in local and state elections, under a bill introduced on Monday.
The New York Is Home Act is the first bill in the United States that would provide such broad rights to non-citizens who can show they have lived and paid taxes in New York for at least three years, according to the bill's sponsor, state Senator Gustavo Rivera.
"Nearly 3 million people in the state of New York currently reside here and make New York their home, but can't fully participate in civic, political, and economic life," Rivera, a Democrat who represents the Bronx in New York City, said in a telephone interview.
He described the bill as a response to the stagnation of immigration reform efforts in the U.S. Congress.
"With failure at the national level on comprehensive immigration reform, the question we have asked is what can states do?" he said.
The bill would provide benefits to illegal immigrants and other non-citizens who could prove they have resided in New York for at least three years and have been paying taxes for as long. They would also have to take an oath to uphold the state's constitution and laws, and pledge their willingness to serve on a jury, according to the bill summary.
They would take an oath to uphold their state’s constitution and laws?  Are you kidding me?  These illegal aliens laugh at your constitution and laws!  What a fool!
As you can see, Democrats have no regard for the meaning of words, our laws, or even the concept of citizenship.  These politicians are a menace to a free people.  God save us all.

N.C. Attorney General Gets Epic Slap From Governor's Office

It shouldn’t be a surprise the bullies at Obama’s DOJ is suing the state of North Carolina over our voter ID laws.   It should also be no surprise that Governor Pat McCrory is hiring an outside attorney to defend the citizens of the Old North State instead of employing our State’s Attorney General, Roy Cooper, which is an epic slap in the face.

RALEIGH — Attorney General Roy Cooper said Tuesday that it is an “unnecessary expense” for Gov. Pat McCrory to hire an outside attorney to represent North Carolina against the Obama administration’s lawsuit challenging the state’s new voting law.
“Our office continues to have the primary responsibility to defend the state,” Cooper told reporters. “Our staff will continue to do that.”
The Democrat’s remarks sparked a political blame game about how the state is defending the lawsuit – one with implications for 2016, when Cooper is considering challenging the Republican governor.
Responding to Cooper’s remarks, Bob Stephens, McCrory’s chief legal counsel, said the cost “falls squarely at the feet of the attorney general.”
Stephens questioned Cooper’s ability to defend the state and recommended hiring an outside attorney after Cooper made critical comments about the voting bill earlier this year.
“I was concerned then and I’m concerned today that the comments that he has made (against) this legislation has compromised his ability to represent the state of North Carolina,” Stephens told reporters in a hastily scheduled briefing hours after Cooper’s remarks. Stephens compared it to a defendant’s attorney standing on a street corner and announcing “that you were guilty.
I don’t trust Attorney General Roy Cooper either.  When it came time to defend the citizens of North Carolina against Obamacare he refused to do so.  Here is his reasoning:
"This office should not attempt to enforce state legislation that clearly violates federal law," Cooper said in an interview with The Associated Press. "Another issue is unintended consequences. While it is unenforceable as to federal law, it could be enforceable as to existing state law."
"State legislatures cannot pick and choose which federal laws the state will obey," Cooper wrote to Perdue, pointing to federal rules requiring body scans of pat downs at airports about which many North Carolina residents complain. "The same principle applies here as with other federal laws, even those laws we don't like or agree with."
Governor McCrory is wise not to trust this man.

Rep. Steny Hoyer: GOP is a Threat to the Nation

The GOP is a threat to the nation? Who was it that forced dealers to sell guns to known criminials without any means of tracing these weapons? Remind me again who authorized Fast and Furious and didn't tell Mexican officials or border agents about this program.

No Mr. Hoyer, the GOP is not a threat to this nation. If anyone is a threat to the citizens of this country, it is you and the fascist in the Obama administration.

NRA Will Hold Democrats Accountable for Eric Holder Contempt Vote

Allegations are being made that operation Fast and Furious was a scheme to subvert our Second Amendment rights. And that the Obama administration was counting on the murders of innocent Americans such as Agent Brian Terry to invoke public outrage. This kind of scandal would act as a catalyst for strict gun control measures.

Democrats dismiss this as a preposterous conspiracy theory. But is it? We all know the totalitarian elements that make up this party. Is it so absurd to believe that prominent members of their party would conspire to take away our guns? Does anyone remember the actions of the Clinton administration?

The NRA hasn’t forgotten. And they are going to make damn sure that the Democrats hold Eric Holder accountable for his dismissive attitude to Congress.

The NRA jumped into the fray last week, sending a letter to every House lawmaker condemning Holder's "open defiance" of the GOP probe and warning that the group will be watching closely as lawmakers cast their votes on contempt.

Chris Cox, the NRA's chief lobbyist, also accused the administration of launching the Fast and Furious program as an effort to promote tougher gun control laws.

"The reason we support the contempt resolution is the same reason we first called for Attorney General Holder’s resignation more than a year ago: the Department’s obstruction of congressional oversight of a program that cost lives in support of an anti-gun agenda," Cox wrote.

The NRA's move puts intense pressure on some threatened Democrats to buck their party and vote in favor of the contempt citation. At least four Democrats — Reps. Jim Matheson (Utah), John Barrow (Ga.), Collin Peterson (Minn.) and Nick Rahall (W.V.) — have already said they'll support the measure.

Many Democrats are not happy that the NRA is weighing in on this issue. But then again, is anyone surprised by their protestations.

National Border Patrol Council Calls for Eric Holder Resignation

Every administration has had congressmen call for the resignation of a cabinet member, but I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of a law enforcement association demand the resignation of an Attorney General of the United States.

The National Border Patrol Council, which represents all 17,000 of the agency’s non-supervisory agents, called for the resignation Monday of Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. for his role in the botched “Fast and Furious” gunrunning operation that resulted in the death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent.

Council President
George E. McCubbin III, a 25-year Border Patrol veteran himself, described Mr. Holder’s actions in the case as “a slap in the face to all Border Patrol agents who serve this country,” adding that the attorney general has shown “an utter failure of leadership at the highest levels of government.”

Talk about no confidence. This is amazing.

Michelle Malkin Stomps Juan Williams into the Ground

Juan Williams should've learned a long time ago that you don't mess with conservative women. Michelle Malkin ate his lunch. When will he learn?

Fast and Furious Video: A Quick Summary

When will we get the truth? Not until Eric Holder is gone.
