California Bans Students from Traveling to Christian States

Nothing makes me cringe more than seeing a California license plate in the great state of North Carolina.  The very thought of an immigrant from the land of fruits and nuts is appalling to me.  Sure, there are some fugitive conservatives in that hellhole, but let’s face it, the majority are whack jobs.

So when I read California passed a law that forbade its public university students from traveling to our fair and righteous state, I thanked God for his divine intervention.  Here is an excerpt from the Daily Caller:

More than 100 Californians were chosen to be a part of the Council on Undergraduate Research Conference at the University of Memphis in April, but those who attend public universities will not receive funding to go.

UC Davis students who were supposed to attend the conference responded to the new law.

“I don’t want any funding on my behalf from the state, my parents or grandparents to go to a state like Tennessee that discriminates against LGBT people,” senior Acacia Keith told the Los Angeles Times.

Senior Mark Rivera offered a different take on the situation.

“Instead of discouraging travel to supposedly backward places, we should encourage travel; otherwise, campuses will become more insular and make the problem worse,” Rivera told the Los Angeles Times.

There are exceptions to the law however, which allow travel to these states if it was contracted before Jan. 1.

UCLA’s football team is scheduled to play Memphis in September and Cal State Long Beach baseball will play North Carolina in March. After these visits, the universities will no longer be able to play games in these states.

Please, don’t make an exception for us.  We don’t need proselytizers for your hedonistic lifestyle.   However, I do wonder if California allows missionaries and mental health experts inside their great wasteland.  The great heathen state could use some righteous guidance before God renders a Sodom and Gomorrah judgment.

LGBT, Bathrooms and the Era of Progressive Good Feelings

The Sunday papers are rife with woe and self-flagellation with articles and editorials from all the amoral, dollar-sniffers that contaminate North Carolina.  What is their complaint, you ask?  Believe it or not, it’s about HB2 and this whole damn bathroom nonsense.  Apparently, the Old North State is being punished by “progressive” businesses that refuse to patronize our state because we refuse to indulge the fantasies of predators, the mentally ill and Democrats.

The big hubbub of late is the NBA’s decision to move their All-Star Game out of Charlotte in 2017 to a city that is more in tune with their Caligulic infested sport.  Yeah, nothing shouts upstanding, law-abiding citizens like an NBA player. 
  

It’s bad enough NBA franchises shakedown the local citizenry to finance their arenas, now we have to take moral instruction from a league infested with rapists, murderers and misanthropes.  No thank you.

It just doesn’t end with the NBA, local business leaders are concerned about North Carolina’s reputation.  Johnny Harris, a real estate developer, is quaking in his slippers about the impact a bathroom can make.

Harris is one of the city’s most influential real estate developers and a key architect of growth in the SouthPark area. As president of Quail Hollow, he played a critical role in bringing the PGA Championship to Charlotte, the city’s first golf major.

When Harris played at a golf tournament in California last month, North Carolina’s new LGBT law quickly became the main topic of conversation, he said.

“Everybody wanted to talk to me about what had happened in North Carolina,” said Harris. “What are they doing? They used to be the most progressive state in the South. Now, they’re going the other direction.

“It clearly has a negative impact. Anyone who thinks it doesn’t is wrong. I’ve been saying to anyone that would listen to me from the very first day that it’s a train wreck.”

What in the hell is progressive?  How can one define it?  We can start by cleaving off all common sense and decency, then inject a heavy dose of self-righteous hedonism financed by crony capitalists with a totalitarian mentality, shove it in an oven and the final product is a fascistic smiley face promoting National Socialism.

Charlotte used to be a God-fearing city.  Businesses once closed their doors on Sundays; stores, such as Ivey’s covered their window displays so as not to tempt the devout.  These days, people worship their bank accounts and false idols such as sports stars.  Welcome to the era of Progressive Good Feelings.

The Democratic Party's Dark Carnival Bathroom

Step on up and witness the latest freak show courtesy of your local Democratic Party.  Your little girls experience in a public bathroom will be filled with stupefying horror as she squirms her way through a maze of human abasement and depravity that would repulse any God fearing man.

Come on in and see the bearded lady with a suspect bulge in her panties preen before a mirror.  And if you’re able to take your eyes off of her prodigious Adam’s apple, make your way to stall number one and witness the wonders of a sword swallower with assless pants and his flaming phallus.  Your little girl will look on in amazement as this degenerate performs unnatural acts.  What’s that dangling from his buttocks?  Oh, that’s just a pull string attached to his pet gerbil.  Amazing!  Amazing!  Amazing!

That’s not all for this dark carnival.  Step into stall number two and watch a he/she contemplate, “To sit, or to stand? That is the question.”

And let’s not forget the morbidly obese fat man sitting in the corner.  Nothing says freak like Michael Moore.  This degenerate will applaud anything that repulses the sensibilities of any upstanding citizen. 

 You ask, what is the price of admission for this bastardization of morality, humanity and common sense?  Why it’s free! Free!  Free!  As is everything with democrats, except of course, if you’re a straight Christian male, then you’ll have to go to jail because you’re nothing more than a pervert.  What’s that?  They don’t care if you’re concerned for your daughter’s safety.

Common Core Turns into Hardcore Sex Education

Holy cow!  This can’t be real.  A Jacksonville, Florida teacher demonstrated the art of dildo usage to 6^th graders.  Who knew that Common Core education could turn into hardcore sexual education?

Clinton Middle School in Duval County hired 39-year-old Sharon Mercer to teach the sex education class but after the photos emerged she was suspended and the school refused further comment. Mercer claimed her suspension was an act of “bigotry” because she was a “proud member of the LGBTQ community.”

So, she’s the victim!  Is this woman completely devoid of common sense and decency?

We’re venturing into South Park Cartoon territory.  The only thing missing is a ball gag and a gerbil.

Cross Up, Don't Sue!

Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the Earth.  Well, there is nothing meek about the militant LGBT community and their praetorian guards in today’s progressive movement.  Shame isn’t exactly a resume enhancer when it comes to these people.  Everyone must accept their homosexual lifestyles even if it means forcing others to violate their conscience and/or religion.

 

Monomaniacal is the best way to describe these 1 percenters.  The LGBT community is so obsessed with their sexuality that they are willing to destroy the livelihood of others as a means to advance their agenda.  Any business that is remotely associated with Christianity has a huge target on its back.  Cross bearers will be forced to cater their weddings and events.  Your religion, be damned.  Your conscience, be damned.  Your lifestyle, be damned.  A Christian business owners’ slogan should be:  Cross up, Don’t Sue!

So when sympathetic Americans defend a besieged business for having the audacity for being Christian while owning a business, the LGBT community couldn’t believe it.   

A couple of years ago, militant gays attacked Chick-fil-A for defending traditional marriage.  Some in the LGBT community were brazen enough to make out in these restaurants.  They seem to enjoy shocking the senses of mainstream Americans, particularly Christians.

What’s next?  Will they parade themselves in front of churches wearing assless pants, while gerbils play peek-a-boo with parishioners attending Sunday services?

Is the LGBT community capable of shame?

Everyone is Coming Out of the Closet But the Saints

The LGBT community is less than 1% of the population; yet, they seem to enjoy waving their peckers/strap ons in our face every chance they get.  They seem to have an entitlement mentality irrespective of discretion or morality.  As one flabbergasted preacher exclaimed, “Everyone’s coming out of the closet, but the Saints!”

I have very few television shows that I enjoy.  Last weekend, two of them – The Walking Dead and Black Sails – featured gay men making out.  I don’t want to see that.  And I suspect the vast majority of the viewing public doesn’t either.

Gay characters have been featured in film and television for decades.  This is nothing new.  But filming them making out and humping one another is completely different.

 

One of the reasons I, and many others, stopped watching True Blood was because of all the gay sex.  That’s fine if you’re into that thing.  But your audience is limited.

The Walking Dead and Black Sails shouldn’t be near their “jump the shark” episodes.  They will be if they keep “jumping the gerbil.” 

Southern Poverty Law Center Declares Ben Carson a Right-Wing Extremist

The Southern Poverty Law Center, an anti-American organization, has publicly declared anyone who believes in traditional marriage is an extremist.  They placed renowned neurosurgeon and potential republican presidential candidate, Ben Carson, on their extremist watch list.

Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson rapidly ascended as a far-right political star after publicly scolding President Obama, whom he sat a few feet away from, at a National Prayer Breakfast in February 2013. Carson’s reproach of Obama for his health care and tax policies went viral, unleashing a flood of adulation from right-wing media and hate groups. Carson’s own story as an “up by the bootstraps” black man reared in poverty translated into an inspiring, magnetic narrative that captured media attention. Soon he was appearing as the keynoter at a rash of right-wing and hate group gatherings, linking gays with pedophiles, comparing the U.S. to Nazi Germany and endorsing biblical economic practices for 21st century America. A movement to draft Carson as a presidential candidate took off in 2014, raising more than $7 million by June, according to its website. Carson has coyly declined to say whether he would run as a Republican or on a third-party ticket, but media interviews suggest that he is increasingly willing to run on some ticket.

Progressives Conspire to Co-Opt Jesus Christ

The suspension of Duck Dynasty’s patriarch, Phil Robertson, is another salvo against traditional America and Christian orthodoxy.  For decades, progressives have bastardized our founding, the first amendment, laws and language as means to secularize the country.  Devout Christians are to be shamed and shunned.  And if that doesn’t work, the progressives will co-opt the religion itself.

There is a movement to redefine Christianity.  Those who live questionable lifestyles want nothing more than to be accepted by traditional America.  They need to manufacture a doctrine that is permissive and tolerant.  And the best way to accomplish this is by remaking Jesus Christ.  Here is an excerpt from a report entitled:  Redefining Christ and Christianity:

This questioning for the most radical progressives has resulted in a complete re-orientation of the traditional Christian discourse (Hall, 2011). The death and resurrection of Jesus Christ as the Son of God for the salvation of mankind would be a key doctrine to the vast majority of Christians. Yet progressive Christianity seeks to rid itself of any kind of soteriology and the related concepts of the Original Sin, guilt, judgement and inherent worthlessness of humans. They see these ideas as extremely negative, destructive and oppressive in the sense that they lead people to needlessly despise themselves sometimes leading to self-flagellation; one leader even felt that the promotion of such an ideology was the worst injustice committed by Christianity. Not content with the rejection of Christian soteriology, progressive leaders also seek to jettison traditional Christian eschatology; progressive leaders reject the view of heaven and hell as existing separately from and beyond this life. If they believe in such concepts it is in a very abstract way, more as states of mind which can be achieved in this life by anybody (see Sanguin, 2011; Plumer, 2011b; Lawton, 2011) so that ‘heaven’ can be found in this world by a variety of methods (see the section below on progressive spirituality).

Progressive theology goes even further in its rejection of orthodox Christian doctrine to the redefinition of both God and Jesus. In the same way that they cease to view heaven and hell as existing outside the universe, many progressives reject any theistic model of God preferring to see him as part of the universe thereby allowing us to touch the divine in this life. God is no longer the big man in the sky who controls the world, makes demands of us and can be petitioned. Prayer is now seen more as a therapeutic activity, a way finding the inner strength to solve our problems for ourselves. That God is the universe or the universe is part of God means that each of us is also in some small way sacred or even divine; we are all sons (or daughters) of God, which reinforces the emphasis on the inherent worth of human beings. The actual word ‘God’ has become an issue for progressives because of its theistic connotations and so there is no agreed label for this new concept which may reflect a wider confusion over what ‘God’ actually is to post-theistic Christians.

This movement is slowing making its way into mainstream America.  The militant LGBT community is their foot soldiers.  Political correctness is their weapon of choice.  And Duck Dynasty is just one of many casualties.

Progressives Are Trying to Redefine Christianity

I started watching Duck Dynasty a couple of months ago.  Fans of the show know the Robertson family is devoutly Christian.  It should have been no surprise that the patriarch would publicly speak out against homosexuality and other forms of aberrant behavior.  So, one must ask why would a cable network like A&E produce and air a show that is antagonistic to the LGBT community that they proudly support.  Eventually, there was going to be a conflict.   Phil Robertson discussed his problems with the network in the following video:

Anyone who pays attention knows that Christianity is under attack and has been for decades.  What is even more disturbing is the attempt to redefine Christianity itself.  F.A. Hayek wrote about the insidious actions of progressives redefining the language.  He warned that they would succeed in bastardizing the word liberal, and they have.  Now, they are trying to redefine Christianity. 

Notice that the homosexual activist in the above video stated that his view of Christianity is only about tolerance; that the teachings of Jesus Christ are just about treating your neighbor as you want to be treated.  We are beginning to witness an implication that morality and vice are just an abstraction that has no credence.  Their new version of the Christian religion must embrace homosexuality or be banned from the public square.  What we are witnessing is the beginning of the redefinition of Christianity.
