N.C. Democrats Purposefully Inflicted Economic Harm Over Bathroom Wars

There is a strong stench of political corruption wafting around North Carolina and it all started when Democrats on the Charlotte City Council passed an asinine bathroom ordinance forcing private businesses and public buildings to an anything goes freak show.  We are now finding out, as many of us suspected, that this stunt was nothing more than an election year ploy.

A proposed compromise would’ve scrapped HB2 and Charlotte’s ordinance.  That didn’t happen.  Democrats wanted the “bathroom wars” for an election year wedge issue. WRAL reported the following:

North Carolina State Representative Becky Carney (D-Mecklenburg) lobbied members of the Charlotte City Council against voting to repeal the city’s non-discrimination ordinance, which would have paved the way for a repeal of the controversial House Bill 2, multiple sources tell On Your Side Investigates.

A Democratic member of the legislature, who spoke on background to discuss the situation, confirmed Carney tied her opposition to the ordinance’s repeal directly to her desire to keep HB2 on the books so Democrats in close legislative races could use the bill as a wedge issue in November’s election.

HB2 Nothing More Than Liberal Political Stink

Ease up on the hyperventilating, libtards.  The HB2 crisis hasn’t had a devastating effect on North Carolina’s economy as all the popper sniffers would have us believe.   Andrew Heath, state budget director, has sprayed some Lysol on this whole bathroom nonsense.  The big stink all these liberals are spewing is from their mouth and not actual data.  Here is an excerpt from his op-ed:

Regardless of one’s position on HB2, one must conclude based on the facts that any purported fallout from HB2, which is mostly speculative and unquantifiable, pales in comparison to the actual economic impact of the pro-growth policies that have led to the creation of 300,000 net new jobs since 2013. These policies have continued to benefit the state.

Here are some relevant facts since HB2 took effect:

▪ Nearly 5,000 new jobs have been announced since March.

▪ Moody’s reported that North Carolina’s 2016 year-to-date revenue growth has outpaced the 20 largest states’ average by more than 2-to-1.

▪ North Carolina’s unemployment rate returned to pre-recession levels at 4.9 percent and is down in all 100 counties since 2013.

▪ S&P, Moody’s and Fitch affirmed North Carolina’s AAA credit rating, citing the state’s continued diverse economic expansion.

▪ CNBC moved North Carolina from #9 to #5 in the ranking of best states for business.

▪ North Carolina ended the fiscal year with a $425 million revenue surplus.

The entertainers and businesses who have chosen to cancel shows, games or jobs as a form of political speech are free to do so, but those few actions will not affect the state’s overall economic position. The vast majority of entertainers, athletes and businesses are not falling for the false narrative.

Somehow I don’t believe these self-important pricks really give a damn about how ineffective their protestations are.

Charlotte already has one foot in the gutter by allowing predators and the mentally ill to use bathrooms that are contrary to their gender.  Why shouldn’t the Queen City embrace a hedonistic culture like San Francisco, or London?

Hell, if no one can restrict bathroom privacy, why not a BJ over a cup of coffee?  Better yet, how about some bangers and mash while someone tosses your salad.

London could soon host its first ever ‘fellatio café’ for punters seeking oral pleasure with their morning coffee.

If the business manages to overcome all the legal barriers to opening, the café will offer customers a selection of coffees, along with oral sex performed by an escort.

Founder Bradley Charvet said he plans to establish a branch of the coffee shop in Paddington, London.

Charvet told the Evening Standard he is confident the business will go ahead

Charlotte Self-Indentifies as Progressively Stupid

Charlotte, North Carolina is achieving an ignominious reputation as the most “progressive” city in the South.  Libtards have swept all common sense and decency from government offices and bathrooms by ushering in a hodgepodge of iniquity, stupidity and politically correct nonsense.  And it all has to do with gender identity. 

Today, it’s not enough to check your pants to determine if you’re a boy or girl, it’s all about feelings and self-esteem.  Back in the day – when we had common sense – those who were confused about their gender were taught simple biology, or counseled about their mental illness.  Now a day, we parade the afflicted as if they were heroes.

Eliminating boy and girl references is one of several policies included in the CMS bully prevention regulations.

One policy allows students to participate in extracurricular activities and overnight field trips based on their gender identity. A student who identifies as a girl would be allowed to participate in an "all-girl" overnight trip.

Another policy says CMS must evaluate all gender-based activities and "maintain only those that have clear and sound pedagogical purpose."

The North Carolina Values Coalition calls the rules radical and a violation of privacy.

"School is no longer about reading, writing and arithmetic. It is now about gender fluidity," Tami Fitzgerald of the NC Values Coalition said.

CMS officials say the policies in the presentation are meant to serve as guidelines.

"CMS remains fully committed to supporting its transgender students and nurturing a safe and welcoming environment for every student and employee," CMS Chief Communications Officer Kathryn Block said.

A well-known part of the policy has to do with bathrooms. It says students can use the bathroom of the gender they identify with. However that won't be implemented at the start of school because the U.S. Supreme Court put a hold on a federal judge's order that would have allowed this.

A clear and sound pedagogical purpose?  Wow!

LGBT, Bathrooms and the Era of Progressive Good Feelings

The Sunday papers are rife with woe and self-flagellation with articles and editorials from all the amoral, dollar-sniffers that contaminate North Carolina.  What is their complaint, you ask?  Believe it or not, it’s about HB2 and this whole damn bathroom nonsense.  Apparently, the Old North State is being punished by “progressive” businesses that refuse to patronize our state because we refuse to indulge the fantasies of predators, the mentally ill and Democrats.

The big hubbub of late is the NBA’s decision to move their All-Star Game out of Charlotte in 2017 to a city that is more in tune with their Caligulic infested sport.  Yeah, nothing shouts upstanding, law-abiding citizens like an NBA player. 
  

It’s bad enough NBA franchises shakedown the local citizenry to finance their arenas, now we have to take moral instruction from a league infested with rapists, murderers and misanthropes.  No thank you.

It just doesn’t end with the NBA, local business leaders are concerned about North Carolina’s reputation.  Johnny Harris, a real estate developer, is quaking in his slippers about the impact a bathroom can make.

Harris is one of the city’s most influential real estate developers and a key architect of growth in the SouthPark area. As president of Quail Hollow, he played a critical role in bringing the PGA Championship to Charlotte, the city’s first golf major.

When Harris played at a golf tournament in California last month, North Carolina’s new LGBT law quickly became the main topic of conversation, he said.

“Everybody wanted to talk to me about what had happened in North Carolina,” said Harris. “What are they doing? They used to be the most progressive state in the South. Now, they’re going the other direction.

“It clearly has a negative impact. Anyone who thinks it doesn’t is wrong. I’ve been saying to anyone that would listen to me from the very first day that it’s a train wreck.”

What in the hell is progressive?  How can one define it?  We can start by cleaving off all common sense and decency, then inject a heavy dose of self-righteous hedonism financed by crony capitalists with a totalitarian mentality, shove it in an oven and the final product is a fascistic smiley face promoting National Socialism.

Charlotte used to be a God-fearing city.  Businesses once closed their doors on Sundays; stores, such as Ivey’s covered their window displays so as not to tempt the devout.  These days, people worship their bank accounts and false idols such as sports stars.  Welcome to the era of Progressive Good Feelings.

Obama's Priorities

The Federal Church of Washington D.C.

The Obama administration is a study in federal tyranny.  The thugs that populate the Anointed One’s bureaucracies have no shame.  Had a republican president acted in this manner, he would’ve been impeached long ago and conservatives would’ve led the charge.   It has become self-evident we have two Americas: one for democrats and another for everyone else.

This other America, democrats are thrusting upon decent, law-abiding citizens, is replete with indecency, immorality and a sense of entitlement that is alien to a country founded by a god-fearing people accustomed to hard work.  This other America is a creature established by Washington D.C. elites who’ve created a caste system whereas they are the priestly rulers, illegal aliens are a protected class and the mentally ill can flaunt their diseased minds with naked abandon.  The last class on the rung is the lowly citizens who have to wade through their trickle-down filth.

A decade ago, no one would’ve thought Christians could lose their businesses for simply following their faith, or forced to buy a product that’s an affront to their religion.  In today’s America, Washington D.C. is the established church and their religion is antithetical to our founding principles. 

Currently, North Carolina is under assault from the heathens at the Justice Department.  These thugs are using our own taxpayer money against us to violate a long established moral and ethical code. 

The Justice Department said the North Carolina law violates federal Civil Rights Act protections barring workplace and student discrimination based on sex. Various federal agencies have further defined these protections as extending to transgender people, declaring that it violates the law to prevent people from using bathrooms that align with their gender identity.

"The State is engaging in a pattern or practice of discrimination against transgender state employees and both you, in your official capacity, and the state are engaging in a pattern or practice of resistance" of their rights, Justice Department Civil Rights Division leader Vanita Gupta wrote to McCrory.

Gupta also notified the 17-campus University of North Carolina system that the state law violates Title IX of the Civil Rights Act, which bars discrimination in education based on sex. That could lead to North Carolina losing hundreds of millions of dollars in federal school funding. In that letter, Gupta cited last month's federal appellate ruling supporting a transgender student's discrimination case against a Virginia school board that implemented a similar bathroom policy.

These progressives have bastardized title IX of the Civil Rights Act just like they’ve done with the 14^th Amendment.  How long are the American people going to put up with this nonsense?  Washington D.C. is incapable of reforming itself.  It is time to invoke Article V and convene a convention of the States.

Charlotte Democrats Responsible for Transgender Freak Show

It never fails. Liberals foist an absurdity upon the citizenry and the republicans take the blame for it.  This whole transgender freak show is a perfect example of what I’m talking about.  Democrats in Charlotte, North Carolina knew exactly what the consequences would be, both economically and socially; if they implemented this anything goes bathroom policy. 

Unfortunatley, Governor Pat McCrory is taking the heat for the actions of Charlotte’s mayor and its Democratic junta in the city council.  What’s surprising is the Charlotte Observer admits it.

Shortly after PayPal’s announcement, House Speaker Tim Moore and Senate President Pro Tem Phil Berger, both Republicans, issued a joint statement blaming Roberts “and the far-left Political Correctness Mob she’s unleashed.”

“They’re trying to shift the blame for the damage being done from HB2 to Charlotte, and it’s a lot easier if you can find a face to blame it on,” said Thomas Mills, a Democratic consultant and blogger. “Right now, to a lot of people, (McCrory) is the face of HB2. And it’s a lot easier to say ‘Jennifer Roberts’ than the Charlotte City Council.”

Blaming the mayor is justified, according to one council member.

“She was hell-bent on doing what she wanted to do and she didn’t care about the consequences,” says Democrat Claire Fallon, one of four council members who voted against the ordinance. “This is the council’s fault. The governor didn’t start this. The (General) Assembly didn’t start this. We started it and we were warned.”

Mayor Jennifer Roberts didn’t care about the consequences?  Charlotte has become the laughing stock of the country and is suffering financially because a gang of radical leftist has taken over this city.  I’m sure she and her social justice warriors knew they could capitalize on a politically correct zeitgeist that has lost all common sense and any vestige of decency and morality.  It’s a shame we’re living in an age of the Mad Hatter.

North Carolina is Ground Zero for Liberal Absurdities

North Carolina has become ground zero for liberal causes and outrages such as Medicaid/welfare expansion, anti-voter ID requirements and the latest absurdity: transgender bathrooms.  The Old North State isn’t unique in this regard.  There are plenty of other states that have passed similar laws.  But what really irks progressives is this state was controlled by democrats for over a100 years until 2010.  Since then, the national spotlight has shined on North Carolina for any harebrained scheme libtards can dream up.

Governor Pat McCrory can attest to feigned outrages and manufactured crises posed by liberals.  His administration has been under attack by every Observer rag that infests this state.  People who make a living agitating for “free stuff” have camped out near the Governor’s mansion under the specious banner of “Moral” Mondays.  Now he’s getting nasty grams from morons like Governor Cuomo of New York and teat squawkers such as PayPal.

Hey, Governor Cuomo!  Do us a favor and stay the hell out of North Carolina.  God knows we have enough of your economic refugees down here.  We can only hope and pray they have learned their lesson from living in a blue state hellhole and won’t revert to voting for scumbag politicians like you.

But what is really interesting is companies like PayPal have their hands out for taxpayer subsidies and at the same time demand we conform to their warped sense of morality while doing business with countries that kill homosexuals.  That takes a lot of nerve.  As far as I’m concerned, good riddance.  We don’t need that kind of stupidity contaminating our state.   Thank god, North Carolina has politicians who won’t stand for this kind of bullying.

   

"If our action in keeping men out of women's bathrooms and showers protected the life of just one child or one woman from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it,” said Lt. Governor Dan Forest. “North Carolina will never put a price tag on the value of our children. They are precious and priceless.”

“If a corporation wanting to do business in North Carolina does not see the worth of our children in the same light, then I wish them well as they do business somewhere,” he said.

Step on up and witness the latest freak show courtesy of your local Democratic Party.  Your little girls experience in a public bathroom will be filled with stupefying horror as she squirms her way through a maze of human abasement and depravity that would repulse any God fearing man.

Come on in and see the bearded lady with a suspect bulge in her panties preen before a mirror.  And if you’re able to take your eyes off of her prodigious Adam’s apple, make your way to stall number one and witness the wonders of a sword swallower with assless pants and his flaming phallus.  Your little girl will look on in amazement as this degenerate performs unnatural acts.  What’s that dangling from his buttocks?  Oh, that’s just a pull string attached to his pet gerbil.  Amazing!  Amazing!  Amazing!

And let’s not forget the morbidly obese fat man sitting in the corner.  Nothing says freak like Michael Moore.  This degenerate will applaud anything that repulses the sensibilities of any upstanding citizen.
