Sen. John McCain: No Country for Old Fools

Is Sen. Marco Rubio a Stooge on Immigration Reform?
This commercial has been running on talk radio shows in North Carolina. And every bit of it is a lie!
Senator Rubio is a young man and probably doesn't remember the Simpson-Mazzoli Act. The same promises he is making were made in 1986, and they were broken. As a matter of fact, some the senators that are on the Gang of Eight were serving in Congress when Simpson-Mazzoli was passed. Can anyone say John McCain?
Special interest groups undermined the law in federal courts. Now we are about to repeat this lie, again.
I'm convinced that Washington D.C. is corrupt to its very core. Either Rubio is a stooge, or he's just as corrupt as the rest of them.

Does Mitt Romney Pass the Bumper Sticker Test?
A true barometer of enthusiasm for a politician is a bumper sticker. No conservative is going to subject his property to a bunch of thuggish progressives by openly proclaiming his support for a candidate. That commitment once made is sincere; because we know that our vehicles will be keyed and abused by the scum of the earth. In the 2008 election, my car and truck went stickerless. It wasn’t because I didn’t receive one in the mail, because I did. It was because there was no way in hell; I was going to put John McCain on my vehicles. Sarah Palin yes; John McCain no. So, in the trash it went.
My problem with the senator goes back to 1993, when he had the balls to tell grown men they couldn’t participate in a consensual sport called Ultimate Fighting. I remember asking myself, who in the hell does this guy think he is? And ever since that moment, my antipathy has grown to monumental proportions.During the 2008 election, I tried to find ways to justify voting for this dick. And at every instance, McCain would say something stupid. The only saving grace for this insipid moron was Sarah Palin. And that was the only way I could pull the lever for this asshole. If it hadn’t been for her, I don’t believe I would’ve voted.
Now, we conservatives are once again facing the possible nomination of another moderate. Can I put a Romney 2012 bumper sticker on my vehicles? It’s too soon to say.

Sen. John McCain Pines for the Maverick Label
John McCain denied his maverick status during a tough primary campaign against J.D. Hayworth. It seems that the failed GOP presidential candidate wanted to reassure the conservatives in the Republican Party that he was going to spend more time on his side of the aisle: a maverick I'm not.
The mantle of "maverick" was being bestowed upon McCain's toadie: Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. Graham will not face reelection for another four years and can afford to stab his constituents in the back. Newsweek magazine, a liberal rag, reported the wrath that John McCain laid upon those who would dare take his title:
Yet months earlier, according to Ryan Lizza’s New Yorker piece about the failure of climate-change legislation this year, McCain became "enraged" when a December 2009 article on Time's Web site passed the nickname on to Sen. Lindsay Graham, whom the headline called the NEW GOP MAVERICK IN THE SENATE. Writes Lizza:
Graham told colleagues that McCain had called him and yelled at him, incensed that he was stealing the maverick mantle. “After that Graham story came out, McCain completely stopped talking to me,” Jay Newton-Small, the author of the Time piece, said.
It looks like Arizona was duped again. McCain is laying low; just waiting until he secures the election and then he is going to bring out that sharp knife and stab you dumb asses in the back again.
With that, McCain’s statement to NEWSWEEK in April 2010 seems even more out of place. While he may have publicly shunned the maverick label, it appears likely that he's merely concealing his independent streak, keeping it under wraps until he can secure another six-year Senate term. At the very least, his jealousy of Graham indicates McCain does, at least on some level, value his maverick reputation. Since it appears McCain will win a fifth term easily, here’s hoping he reassumes the maverick mantle come 2011. The dreadfully deadlocked Senate could use one.
THE MAVERICK RETURNS WITH A VENGEANCE!!

McAmnesty Gives Audience to Illegal Aliens
It didn't take long for McAmnesty to stab the citizens of Arizona in the back. He just received his parties nomination, and the first thing he does is meet with a bunch of illegal aliens; each with a sob story.
The featured law breakers were children who were "brought here against their will", according to one plaintiff . The amazing thing is each one of these people used the system to advance themselves, and ostensibly their illegal alien community. Every one of these supplicants graduated from college in Arizona; that means for every illegal that was accepted, an American was denied a spot to attend university.
These illegals are so brazen, that one them was arrested in Senator McCain's office for demanding he pass the Dream Act. You would have thought she would have been deported.
Senator McCain is complicit in the strife that Arizonans are living through today. He willingly met with a group of people who have no regard for our laws and sovereignty. And that says it all about Senator John McCain.

John McCain Wins Another Primary
John McCain handily defeated challenger J.D. Hayworth in the Arizona republican primary. The incumbent spent $20 million on his campaign, convincing Arizonans that he is no longer a "maverick" and will not impose his McAmnesty plans on his constituents. Fox News Reports:
With 97 percent of the precincts reporting early Wednesday morning, McCain led Hayworth 56 percent to 32 percent.
"I have never and will never take your support for granted, or feel I am entitled to your trust without earning it," he said.
McCain is heavily favored to win in November.
This is one of the reasons I no longer support the Republican Party. How long will it be before McCain stabs us in the back? He and his toadie, Lindsey Graham, are laughing at the suckers who are about to put him back in office, again.

Senators Coburn and McCain Cite Wasteful Stimulus Spending
I copied this off of Senator Coburns website:
Coburn and McCain write in the report:
“Eighteen months since the passage of the stimulus bill, millions of jobs are still gone and the economy is as uncertain as ever. The only thing getting a boost is our national debt. The stimulus has helped push it 23 percent higher, to $13.2 trillion, a new record.”
“We owe it to all Americans that are paying taxes and struggling to find jobs, to rebuild our economy without doing additional harm, and to do it in a way that expands opportunities for future generations. Too many stimulus projects are failing to meet that goal.”
“Washington should focus on re-igniting the unmatched power of the American entrepreneurial spirit by sweeping away government red tape, expanding markets for U.S. goods, making it easier for small businesses to obtain credit, and reducing our national debt by eliminating wasteful Washington spending.”
“We owe it to every American to rebuild our economy without doing additional harm and in a manner that expands opportunities for future generations of Americans. Job creation should be a national priority, but torrential, misdirected government spending is not the way to do it.”
Examples of wasteful projects include:
• $554,763 for the Forest Service to replace windows in a closed visitor center at Mount St. Helens
• $762,372 to create “Dance Draw” interactive dance software
• $62 million for a tunnel to nowhere in Pittsburgh, PA that even Governor, Ed Rendell called “a tragic mistake”
• $1.9 million for international ant research
• $1.8 million for a road project that is threatening a pastor’s home
• $308 million for a joint clean energy venture with…BP
• $89,298 to replace a new sidewalk that leads to a ditch in Boynton, OK
• $3.8 million for a “streetscaping” project that has reduced traffic and caused a business to fire two employees
• $16 million to help Boeing to clean up an environmental mess it created in 2007
• $200,000 to help Siberian communities lobby Russian policy makers
• $39.7 million to upgrade the statehouse and political offices in Topeka, Kansas
• $760,000 to Georgia Tech to study improvised music
• $700,000 to study why monkeys respond negatively to inequity
• $193,956 to study voter perceptions of the economic stimulus
• $363,760 to help NIH promote the positive impacts of stimulus projects
• $456,663 to study the circulation of Neptune’s atmosphere
• $529,648 to study the effects of local populations on the environment…in the Himalayas
And the cocaine for monkeys wasn't even on this partial list. I wonder if the legislators who earmarked these projects were on some sort of illegal substance. It would explain alot.
