Escalating Hysteria and Absurdity at Mt. Progressive
I thought when Donald J. Trump was elected president, we would begin to decline this summit of stupidity; but apparently, there is no designated elevation for Mt. Progressive. The skies the limit when it comes to their hysteria and absurdity.
President Trump cannot sneeze without raising the ire of the PC police and their representatives in Congress. Did he use a white hanky? He’s a racist! Did he snot on a rag? He’s a misogynist! Did he throw that tissue in a trash can? He’s a xenophobe!
So, it shouldn’t be a surprise when the president is denounced for voicing what many of us think, or when he gets blamed for a chant from a crowd at a rally. His detractors are willing to create controversy, or manufacture a crisis where there is none in the hopes of dinging his approval numbers. Hey, it worked on Bush, it’ll work on Trump.
So here we are, once again, having to endure another tyrant trope from the “mainstream media” simply because President Trump enunciated a time-worn truism, America: Love it or Leave it.
The following day, you would’ve thought that the commander-in-chief had effectuated a policy equivalent to the Alien and Sedition Act of 1798. His criticism of the Four Whores of Anti-Semitism where construed as an attack on the First Amendment. Fears of actual concentration camps danced in their heads, with visions of toilet water splashing their chin. Their hysteria was absolutely laughable.
The simple fact is Trump can’t do squat. Where have these people been for the past three years? He can’t enforce existing laws or policies without injunctions from an Obama judge. Congress is constantly threatening him with impeachment, and the “media” have been in constant panic mode since he won the primary in 2016. And they think Tyrant Trump is going to roundup dissenters and send them back to the hellholes from whence they came?
All I have to say is take a deep breath, strap on an oxygen tank, because we’ve got a long way to go before we reach the summit of Mt. Progressive.

Liberal Hysteria at Defcon 1
Libtards have reached defcon 1 hysteria level. This is beyond Bush derangement syndrome. We have entered into a whole new dimension of stupidity and outright silliness that is beyond anything I’ve experienced or read in American history.
As of today, Democrats and their progressive masters in the media are manufacturing a narrative that President Trump, our commander in chief, gave away classified information to the Russians. The very premise is absurd. The President of the United States determines what is classified and what is not. He was elected to dictate policy. To state otherwise is to acknowledge that the Deep State exist and nameless, faceless bureaucrats are running the country. If that is the case, I dare these loudmouths in Washington D.C. to admit it. Do it! I dare you!
Liberal hysteria goes beyond this Russian and James Comey nonsense. Last week, I was listening to NPR and these people were absolutely hilarious. According to these so-called intellectuals, Donald Trump has turned the United States into a kleptocracy verging on third-world status. Oh, and by the way did I forget to mention he was fascist?
Isn’t it interesting that these people have conveniently forgot about the Stimulus Bill boondoggle that Obama’s bundlers fed off. Now that was kleptocracy. And if we’re going to discuss betraying a nation, how about Obama’s Iranian deal ? This man colluded with the mullahs by funding terrorist organizations and ensuring a nuclear Iran. How does it feel knowing an apocalyptic regime hellbent on destroying Western civilization will have the tools to bring about armageddon? As far as I’m concerned that is treason.
No link between Trump & Russia
No link between Assange & Russia
But Podesta & Clinton involved in selling 20% of US uranium to Russia

And let’s not forget who the real Russian agents are. Hillary Clinton brokered a deal that ultimately sold 20% of U.S. uranium to the Putin regime. And we’re to believe the Trump administration betrayed American interest?
The media, Democratic Party and Washington D.C. establishment have shamed themselves. Long gone are the days of Daniel Webster, John Quincy Adams, John C. Calhoun and Henry Clay. Now we have the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and RINO’s who’ll sell themselves to gain favor from moral derelicts and malicious reprobates.
Make no mistake, our republic is in danger but it’s not from President Donald Trump.

Libtard Preppers Prepare for Trumpocalypse
Libtard preppers are freaking out over "Trumpocalypse." I kid you not. These special snowflakes are worried big government might turn on them. Everything was fine as long as Progressives were in charge. It didn’t bother these thumb suckers when federal bureaucrats harassed, jailed and bankrupted conservatives. They were quite happy to see their political foes get the shit-end of the stick.
All of this liberal hysteria is a projection of what
they wanted to do and have done to conservatives. Here is an excerpt from a Vocativ article:
Trump’s provocative
posturing and unpredictability is now inspiring a fresh wave of panic on the
left. Those who spoke with Vocativ have envisioned scenarios that could
lead to military coups led by loyalists of the president-elect and internment
camps packed with political opponents, bloody social unrest and an all-out
civil or nuclear war. Sound bonkers? Perhaps. But, for many, so was the
prospect of a President Trump.
These special snowflakes have found a whole new
appreciation for the Second Amendment.
They’re actually forming gun and prepper clubs. As you can imagine, they have a whole
different take on the essentials:
Occasionally, posts
on the Liberal Prepper seem to veer close to parody. One debate thread
last week centered around the merits of stocking up on recycled toilet paper
rolls versus buying Angel Soft, a brand produced by Koch industries, a
notorious climate change foe. And in another discussion, vegetarian and vegan
members talked about the best meat- and dairy-free food supplies to have during
a sustained crisis.
They have bug-out
bags too. Can you imagine what their
survival gear consist of? I wouldn’t be
surprised if it were packed with binkies, coloring books, security blankets,
and safety pins. Maybe throw in a couple
of Lady Gaga CD’s.

Professor Declares North Carolina an Authoritarian State
If you think liberal hysteria has reached record
decibels at the national level then you haven’t seen the screeching hair fire that’s
going on in North Carolina. Our state’s
General Assembly has been under attack since republicans gained power in 2010. Regional rags have moved the arms on the
Dooms Day clock to two minutes to midnight.
A recent op-ed emblazoned the following headline, North
Carolina is no longer considered a democracy.
This bit of drama was written by a professor at UNC-Chapel Hill. His bio reads thus: Andrew
Reynolds has consulted in over 25 nations on issues of democratic design since
1991. His most recent book is The Arab Spring: Pathways of Repression and
Reform (Oxford). He is a Professor of Political Science at the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
We all know academia has reached an all new low, but the following rhetoric is beyond the pale. Here is an excerpt from our regional Disturbers:
In 2012 Elklit and I
worked with Pippa Norris of Harvard University, who used the system as the
cornerstone of the Electoral Integrity Project. Since then the EIP has measured
213 elections in 153 countries and is widely agreed to be the most accurate method
for evaluating how free and fair and democratic elections are across time and
place.
When we evolved the
project I could never imagine that as we enter 2017, my state, North Carolina,
would perform so badly on this, and other, measures that we are no longer
considered to be a fully functioning democracy.
In the just released EIP
report, North Carolina’s overall electoral integrity score of 58/100 for the
2016 election places us alongside authoritarian states and pseudo-democracies
like Cuba, Indonesia and Sierra Leone. If it were a nation state, North
Carolina would rank right in the middle of the global league table – a deeply
flawed, partly free democracy that is only slightly ahead of the failed
democracies that constitute much of the developing world.
Is this guy
serious? North Carolina ranks below
Cuba, Indonesia and Sierra Leone? And he
teaches at a respected university? Wow!
First of all, I would
like to inform Professor Reynolds that North Carolina, along with fifty other
states, is a constitutional republic.
The U.S. Constitution specifically dictates and guarantees that. We are not a democracy and thank God for it.
So what has this
professor’s panties in a bunch?
According to this fool, the criteria that ranked us with dictators and failed
states are redistricting, voter registration, a legislature that exercises its prerogatives
and a recent phenomenon: transgender rights.
It’s hard to believe a
professor at UNC-Chapel Hill is unaware of the history of North Carolina’s First
and 12th Congressional Districts.
I can attest to it because I live in it. And I can say without
hesitation that my neighborhood has been in and out of the 12th
since I moved here in 1994. As a matter
of fact, the First and 12th Congressional Districts were drawn by
Democrats in 1991; its legitimacy was contested in 1992 in the United States
District Court. Shaw v Reno went all the
way to the Supreme Court. Here is an
excerpt from A History of African Americans in North Carolina:
The chief justice chided
the state for using race as a “predominant consideration.” The state did not deny the criticism. It created two majority-minority districts to
comply with the VRA and the demands of the Justice Department. Rehnquist objected to the purported premise
of North Carolina’s reapportionment plan, namely, that the General Assembly
could draw a district anywhere in the state to overcome the violations of the
VRA. “We find this position singularly
unpersuasive,” he concluded.
These districts have
been contested since its inception. How
can this be a surprise to a political science professor? His specious arguments don’t end there. Professor Reynolds believes North Carolina
tried to disenfranchise voters by eliminating same-day registration. I would like to inform this academic that
only 16 states have passed this law which 12 have enacted. The real disenfranchisement is leveled
against responsible citizens who registered months in advance of an
election. Many of these SDR ballots are
fraudulent. The Civitas Institute proved
that after the 2008 general election.
This professor should be
ashamed of himself. But we all know
liberals are incapable of self-reflection.
To them, the ends justify the means and the truth is hyperbole.
