Arab Spring Washes the Scales from American Eyes
The truth is a hard pill to swallow. It took a couple of wars and an “Arab Spring” for the scales to fall from our eyes. Americans are coming to terms that not everyone yearns to be free and embraces free markets and self-government. Speigel Online published the following:The center-right Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung writes:
"The murder of an ambassador in Libya and the attacks on US diplomatic missions in other Arab countries is sure to strengthen the skepticism that more than a few Americans feel toward Muslims and the political changes brought by the Arab revolutions. The deeply held American belief that all you have to do is liberate people from serfdom and dictatorship, and then democracy and a market economy will develop more or less on their own, burned to ash in the trial by fire of Iraq. A fact that academics and historically informed diplomats have always known can now be observed throughout the Arab world: Deeply ingrained cultural attitudes do not change simply because one political regime replaces another. In the long process of building a democratic society, it is not possible to simply skip stages."
Yet, we still have some politicians who are having a hard time understanding this simple truth. Senators John McCain and Lindsey Graham come to mind. Here is McAmnesty on the latest atrocity in Libya:
“We were right to take the side of the Libyan people, and others in the region who share their peaceful aspirations. And we would be gravely mistaken to walk away from them now. To do so would only be a betrayal of everything that Chris Stevens and his colleagues believed in… it would also be a betrayal of America’s highest values and our own enduring national interest in supporting people in the Middle East who want to live in peace and freedom.”
They don’t want to live in peace and freedom. And after all that has happened, McCain believes our lack of support for the Syrian rebels is shameful, even though these very same rebels are made up of an Al Qaeda element. And chances are they’ll end up just like all the other rabble that was unleashed by the “Arab Spring.”
It’s time to wakeup Senator McCain.

Ambassador Chris Stevens Raped by Muslims Because He Was Gay?
Two words sum up the Obama administration: bad judgment. This president’s economic policies have proven to be a disaster, and to top it off so has his diplomatic appointments. It is being reported that Ambassador Chris Stevens was gay. Why in the hell would this administration send a gay man to an Islamic country to represent the United States? This is beyond incompetence; it’s outright stupidity. Here is an excerpt from Hillbuzz:The Serbian consulate employee identified himself to me as “Dino” and wouldn’t give me any more of a name than that, but told me it was no secret that Chris Stevens was gay and that “it was stupid to send him to Libya as the ambassador when he was a known homosexual”.
Dino explained in great detail that the brutal sodomizing of Stevens’ corpse was something that Muslims do to show the “utmost disrespect to the body” and that this is “a great insult in Islam” reserved for homosexuals. ”It is like making him a woman in death and he will be a woman now after life” the Serbian explained to me. There’s a good chance this guy was Muslim too, and gay, which makes my head spin more than a little since he seemed to have no anger at all in his voice that Muslims in Libya assassinated the American ambassador and then sodomized his corpse.
“He should not have gone there” was the general consensus from this man.
You won’t hear any of this in the media, no doubt, but in Chicago’s diplomatic circles at least there is no doubt that Chris Stevens was gay and that pretty much anyone in the diplomatic world knew that. That includes the Libyans who were hired as security at the consulate in Benghazi who betrayed Ambassador Stevens and assisted in his murder.
I don’t believe the United States can handle four more years of this amateur and his utopian underlings.

Michelle Malkin's righteous indignation is justified. Not only is the Obama administration a serious problem to our national security, so is the State Department.

Barack Obama: America's First Dhimmi-in-Chief
I don’t care for Mr. Condell’s condescending attitude towards Christians, but I do appreciate his analysis on the Arab Spring. This movement is a nightmare for Coptic Christians. I believe it can be considered a systemic extermination of this minority group.
Many are wondering where the leader of the “free world” is during these mass executions. Why hasn’t President Obama spoken out and used his political influence to help these poor unfortunates out? Is Pat Condell correct? Is Barack Obama a dhimmi? His actions (or lack of) speak volumes.

Arab Spring is a Threat to Egyptian Antiquities
I've often wondered about the antiquities of Egypt since the Arab Spring. What has the world lost since the Islamist has taken over that country? Will they build mosque on ancient sites? Will they blow up the pyramids? Does anyone remember what the Taliban did to the 6th century Buddhist statue in Afghanistan?
I am not a fan of NBC News. But they did a good job on this report.
Let us not forget what the world has lost because of these fanatics.

State Department Scrubs Arab Spring Atrocities From Religious Freedom Report
The Obama administration’s contempt for Christians extends beyond our borders. The State Department is required to provide a yearly country by country report on religious freedom. But that won’t happen for the year 2011, because this administration backed the Arab Spring. Muslims are persecuting Christians, and that hits too close to home. CNSNews reported the following:For the first time ever, the State Department simply eliminated the section of religious freedom in its reports covering 2011 and instead referred the public to the 2010 International Religious Freedom Report – a full two years behind the times – or to the annual report of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF), which was released last September and covers events in 2010 but not 2011.
Leonard Leo, who recently completed a term as chairman of the USCIRF, says that removing the sections on religious freedom from the State Department's Country Reports on Human Roghts is a bad idea.
Since 1998, when Congress created USCIRF, the State Department has been required to issue a separate yearly report specifically on International Religious Freedom.
But a section reporting on religious freedom has also always been included in the State Department's legally required annual country-by-country reports on human rights--that is, until now.
And this is the first year the State Department would have needed to report on the effect the Arab Spring has had on religious freedom in the Middle East--had its reports, as always before, included a section on religious freedom.
It has been widely reported that the Muslim Brotherhood has infiltrated all levels of our federal government. The actions of the State Department give credence to those accusations.

Arab Spring Flowers into Christian Genocide
Christians are under attack throughout the world. We in the United States have witnessed the secularist assault the Catholics and Protestants by denying them their First Amendment rights. These godless heathens will not be satisfied until all Christians are cloistered in their homes worshipping in the dark. Do you think that is farfetched? Well, that is exactly what is happening in Islamic countries as we speak.
The Arab spring has turned into a fanatical nightmare. Coptic Christians are being murdered in mass. Their churches burnt to the ground, and now they are being hunted down as they pray within their homes.
A global jihad is underway and the world is looking to the Obama administration for succor. But he and his minions are too busy with their own jihad. Just ask the Catholic Church, they’ll tell you.

Syrian Muslim Dogs to Feed on Christian Meat
We’ve all heard the mantra: first Saturday, then Sunday. And this so-called Arab spring is fulfilling that threat. Christians in Egypt, Tunisia and Libya are being murdered and their churches burnt to the ground. The same is happening in Syria. An exiled Muslim cleric is encouraging mass murder:
(ANSAmed) - ROME, SEPTEMBER 16 - A Syrian sheikh who has been exiled to Saudi Arabia and has become one of the voices of the uprising against Assad, urges his followers, in television sermons that have been broadcast in Syria as well, to ''tear apart, chop up and feed'' the meat of all supporters of the current regime ''to the dogs,'' including all Christians. The fundamentalist turn part of the Syrian opposition is taking is denounced on the website Terrasanta.net, of the Franciscan Custody.
Is it any wonder that dictators are rampant throughout the Arab world? It takes a beast master to heel a bunch of wild dogs.

Libtards Croon Over Obama's FDResque Foreign Policy Successes
The Libtards are crooning over Obama’s foreign policy “successes”. Real Clear Politics catches one of the biggest moonbats smelling the flower of Obama glory:
Howard Dean, former Governor of Vermont and Chairman of the DNC, opines on President Obama's foreign policy: "It's been really good as Commander-in-Chief and that's not what the election is going to be fought on. It's going to be fought on the economy.

"But, he's getting our troops out of Iraq. They'll be almost all gone by the end of this year, if not all of them. The Afghan war is being drawn down. Osama bin Laden is dead and Muammar Gaddafi is on his way out. Nobody's had a foreign policy record like that since -- I don't know how far back you'd have to go. Not Ronald Reagan, not George W. Bush. Nobody. I don't know, you'd have to go back to Harry Truman before -- or Franklin Roosevelt before you get a record like that."
The Arab spring would be considered a success if you have a deep seeded hatred for Christians and Jews. Egypt has become a killing field for Coptic Christians, and swastika banners are cropping up in demonstrations. One banner read that the gas chambers (click on link below) are ready. Here is an Islamic scholar extolling the precepts of that religion of peace:
Islamic scholar Dr. Salah Sultan issued a religious decree according to which it is permissible to kill "any Israeli on Egyptian land, in response to the killing of Egyptian soldiers near the border with Israel," Egyptian Al-Shuruq newspaper reported on Tuesday.
Sultan is a lecturer of Muslim jurisprudence at the Cairo University. In the decree, he ruled that "every Muslim who meets a Zionist is entitled to kill him, after Israel killed 'Camp David'. The Egyptian people do not distinguish between Egyptian and Palestinian blood," he ruled. (Roee Nahmias
I believe Howard Dean is correct. You would have to go back to FDR to find a record like that.
Iraq is descending into chaos, thanks to the Iranians. The rebel victors in Libya are made up of an Al Qaeda element, and the proposition of Sharia legislation is going to be the guiding factor in a new constitution. Isn’t that swell?
The world is on fire and the Democrats think it’s a success.

Arab Spring is Becoming Western Nightmare
The Arab spring is becoming a nightmare. Terrorist crossed into Israel via the Egyptian border and killed eight of its citizens. When the Israelis counterattacked, the current regime in Egypt acted as if they were the ones who were wronged. This is how these bastards act.
Now, Libya has ousted their dictator – mind you, one who was not friendly to the United States – and they have proposed a “democratic” form of government with one caveat, as reported by the Heritage Foundation:
The dust has not yet settled over the Libyan capital of Tripoli since rebels took control over the weekend. But already, a draft constitutional charter for the transitional state has appeared online (embedded below). It is just a draft, mind you, and gauging its authenticity at this point is difficult. There is also no way to know whether this draft or something similar will emerge as the final governing document for a new Libyan regime.
As both the Morning Bell and Washington in a Flash noted today, Heritage Fellow Jim Phillips recently pointed out that Islamist forces “appear to make up a small but not insignificant part of the opposition coalition,” and must be prevented “from hijacking Libya’s future.” Parts of the draft Constitution allay those fears, while others exacerbate them.
Much of the document describes political institutions that will sound familiar to citizens of Western liberal democracies, including rule of law, freedom of speech and religious practice, and a multi-party electoral system.
But despite the Lockean tenor of much of the constitution, the inescapable clause lies right in Part 1, Article 1: “Islam is the Religion of the State, and the principal source of legislation is Islamic Jurisprudence (Sharia).” Under this constitution, in other words, Islam is law. That makes other phrases such as “there shall be no crime or penalty except by virtue of the law” and “Judges shall be independent, subject to no other authority but law and conscience” a bit more ominous
That’s right Sharia will be their principle source of legislation. Democracy doesn’t necessarily equate to liberty.
