Liberals Figure Out the Rural vs. Urban Divide

The New York Times finally published an insightful article on our great rural vs. urban divide.  I have to hand it to the writer, who just happens to be a libtard living amongst patriotic Americans, on his grasp of the values that distinguish Republicans from Democrats.

How many times have we heard progressives like Barack Obama and Senator Chuck E. Schumer lecture us on our common, American values?  I laugh out loud when I hear this crap.  What values do these people have that is comparable to ours?  I say very little if nothing at all, and so does the liberal who wrote this op-ed.  Here is an excerpt:

Knoxville, Iowa — One recent morning, I sat near two young men at a coffee shop here whom I’ve known since they were little boys. Now about 18, they pushed away from the table, and one said: “Let’s go to work. Let the liberals sleep in.” The other nodded.

They’re hard workers. As a kid, one washed dishes, took orders and swept the floor at a restaurant. Every summer, the other picked sweet corn by hand at dawn for a farm stand and for grocery stores, and then went to work all day on his parents’ farm. Now one is a welder, and the other is in his first year at a state university on an academic scholarship. They are conservative, believe in hard work, family, the military and cops, and they know that abortion and socialism are evil, that Jesus Christ is our savior, and that Donald J. Trump will be good for America.

They are part of a growing movement in rural America that immerses many young people in a culture — not just conservative news outlets but also home and church environments — that emphasizes contemporary conservative values. It views liberals as loathsome, misinformed and weak, even dangerous.

That pretty much sums it up.  However, I would emphasize the word, dangerous.  Conservatives have known this for decades.  We also know what liberals think about us.  So this article is really not a revelation.  What’s surprising is they’re just now figuring it out for themselves.

Presidential Election Should be a Referendum on the Supreme Court

Americans have to formally decide our true character.  A house divided against itself cannot stand.  We cannot be half free and half teat squawker.  We cannot long endure as a free people by catering to a class of malcontents who demand forfeiture of our sacred rights on the premise of equality. This presidential election will determine what kind of country we want to be and Justice Antonin Scalia’s replacement should be part of that discourse.

The Supreme Court, like it or not, has become the sole arbiter of what is constitutional and what is not.  That was not the intent of our founders.  All three branches were to engage, and indeed, check and balance one another.  We no longer have a check on the federal judiciary and our republic is in peril because of it.

A future Supreme Court will decide if the Bill of Rights pertains to everyone, or a protected class.  These jurists will determine whether or not States are vassals to the federal ummah and if there are limitations to the central governments power.

There is a cabal within that body that has consistently voted against federalism and traditional values.  These so-called jurists have assaulted the First Amendment rights of free speech, association and religion particularly when it comes to Christians and conservatives.  Americans need to decide if that minority opinion on the court should become the majority.  This presidential election is a referendum on American values in more ways than one.

Senator Ted Cruz Defends Common Sense and American Values

Conservatives are starving for a voice that can articulate their values, while shining a mirror on the ugly face of liberalism.  It shouldn’t be hard to point out progressive failures.  We are living their dystopian nightmare where common sense is a villain, facts are fraudulent, and opposite day is a never ending national holiday.

When Senator Ted Cruz announced his candidacy, Democrats and establishment Republicans alike, pounced on him.  They know this man is prepared to shake their grafting trees.  Here he is exposing the fraud that is Obamacare:

“Well, you know, those numbers don’t tell the whole picture,” Cruz responded. “For one thing, the bulk of those numbers are coming from expanded Medicaid. And Medicaid is a program where a lot of people who are on Medicaid are not getting health care. Medicaid is a system that is already overburdened and more and more people are just getting waiting lists and not actually getting health care.”

He continued: “Beyond that, remember six million people had their health insurance canceled because of Obamacare. You are not doing someone a favor is you cancel the health insurance they like, and then force them to buy new health insurance at higher premiums that covers less.”

It’s time to lop some gorgon heads.

Our Shared American Values?

Whenever a democrat lectures an American on our “shared values,” I get a little nervous.  Is that a pejorative to them?  Are they mocking us?  Or, are they trying to mask their true intention, which ends in loss of liberty and property.  Usually, it’s the latter.

The Democratic Party’s ideology is contrary to the America ideal. They constantly scheme to undermine self-determination and limited government, and they do it under the guise of “shared values,” usually couched in a way to engender a common goal that justifies ends to a nebulous means.  Here is a perfect example of high rhetoric employed by progressives:

So what is our "shared values"?

Could it be family?

Well, Democrats seem to believe the ideal family unit is a single mother.  They praise, pander and indeed subsidize generations of them.  The centerpiece of Obama’s reelection campaign was the supposed “republican war on women.”  I contend the real war on women is conducted by Democrats who want to make them dependent.  Nothing says daddy like a federal government bureaucrat.

How about life?

Surely, everyone values the sanctity of life?  Not so much.  Democrats don’t see a viable fetus as a member of society that needs to be nurtured and protected.  No.  A fetus is a womb occupier; a mass of tissue much like a cancerous lesion, or a parasite sucking the life force out of its host.  And they demand Americans pay for abortion mills like Planned Parenthood by confiscating our hard earned money.  However, cop killers on death row are victims of society.  These innocents are misunderstood and entitled to our sympathy.

Surely, Democrats value hard work and entrepreneurship?

Again, you would be wrong.  Obama’s Department of Labor banned kids from working on farms.  Many of us learned the value of a dollar and a good work ethic at a young age by working on farms.  This administration is methodically cultivating a generation of indolence and entitlement.  Over 46 million Americans are on food stamps.  Work is not a priority in the Age of Obama.

Oh, and you didn’t build that!  That small business of yours couldn’t have happened if it weren’t for a federal bureaucrat holding your hand.  That is the Democratic meme.  What is really happening is the death spiral of small businesses under the Obama regime.  More businesses are closing than starting up.  The last time this happened was 35 years ago.  The real meme should be:  you didn’t destroy your business, it couldn’t have happened without the Democratic Party.

National security and the value of citizenship is an uncompromised value?

The Obama administration allowed millions of third-worlders to invade our country.  Evidence demonstrates his administration instigated this mass of humanity from Central America.  Now they, and their fellow colonizers who preceded them, have been granted temporary amnesty and are entitled to most benefits and privileges due a citizen.  Is devaluation of citizenship a “shared value”?  I hope not.

As far as national security, James Woods summed it up in a tweet:

Shared values my ass.
