The SALT Exodus
When Republicans passed their tax reform legislation, the majority of Americans noticed a bump in their paychecks. It’s always good to keep more of your money; it’s even better to deprive the D.C. swamp of taxpayer largess.
However, certain provisions in this law may have unintended consequences red staters may soon regret. The repeal of SALT deductions (state and local taxes) could trigger an exodus unseen since the days of Moses. Blue states are notoriously expensive to live in. Their politicians are irresponsible spendthrifts as well as the voters who elect them. Once this provision is taken away only the poor and ultra-rich will inhabit these progressive utopias. Here is an excerpt from the Hill:
The recently passed tax bill, which repeals the state and local tax (SALT) deduction, will only speed up the exodus. Thanks to the bill’s passage, many New York taxpayers will save little or nothing despite a cut in the federal rate. The state’s highest earners — who have been footing an outsized share of the bill — will pay tens of thousands of dollars more in income taxes in 2018. In New York alone, loss of the SALT deduction will remove $72 billion a year in tax deductions and affect 3.4 million residents.
And make no mistake: What’s happening in the Big Apple is a microcosm of what’s happening in the nation’s blue states, cities and towns. New York, Los Angeles, Chicago — the places where power and capital have traditionally congregated — have become so over-regulated, so overpriced and mismanaged, and so morally bankrupt and soft on crime that people are leaving in droves. Of course, these high-tax cities are the same places hit hardest by the removal of the SALT deduction.
I admit I loved sticking it to these blue state scumbags. But I can say without hesitation I don’t want these commies becoming my neighbors. That New York accent, bad attitude and progressive politics have no business in the South.

Illegal Aliens Flee Alabama

Illegal aliens are fleeing the state of Alabama after a court ruling reaffirmed a law that values citizenship:
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Hispanic students have started vanishing from Alabama public schools in the wake of a court ruling that upheld the state's tough new law cracking down on illegal immigration.
Education officials say scores of immigrant families have withdrawn their children from classes or kept them home this week, afraid that sending the kids to school would draw attention from authorities.
There are no precise statewide numbers. But several districts with large immigrant enrollments -- from small towns to large urban districts -- reported a sudden exodus of children of Hispanic parents, some of whom told officials they planned to leave the state to avoid trouble with the law, which requires schools to check students' immigration status.
This exodus is a boon to the unemployed citizens of Alabama. And the student to teacher ratio has improved drastically:
In Montgomery County, more than 200 Hispanic students were absent the morning after the judge's Wednesday ruling. A handful withdrew.
In tiny Albertville, 35 students withdrew in one day. And about 20 students in Shelby County, in suburban Birmingham, either withdrew or told teachers they were leaving
Educators are up in arms over the empty seats. Now mind you, these are the same people who constantly complain of a lack of funding and overcrowded classrooms. You would think that they would be happy:
Local and state officials are pleading with immigrant families to keep their children enrolled. The law does not ban anyone from school, they say, and neither students nor parents will be arrested for trying to get an education.
But many Spanish-speaking families aren't waiting around to see what happens.
A school worker in Albertville -- a community with a large poultry industry that employs many Hispanic workers -- said Friday that many families might leave town over the weekend for other states. About 22 percent of the community's 4,200 students are Hispanic.
"I met a Hispanic mother in the hallway at our community learning center this morning, where enrollment and withdrawal happens. She looked at me with tears in her eyes. I asked, `Are you leaving?' She said `Yes,' and hugged me, crying," said the worker, who spoke on condition of anonymity because she was not an authorized spokeswoman.
Now, we know how much these Alabama school officials value their American citizenship.

Obamanomics: America's Cure for Illegal Immigration
Who would have thought that Obama’s economic policies would be the answer to our country’s illegal alien problem? Jobs are harder to find, especially for those who are “undocumented”. Many Latinos are finding opportunity where there was none before: Mexico. There are fewer undocumented immigrants in California – and the Sacramento region – because many are now finding the American dream south of the border.
"It's now easier to buy homes on credit, find a job and access higher education in Mexico," Sacramento's Mexican consul general, Carlos González Gutiérrez, said Wednesday. "We have become a middle-class country."
Now, if that isn’t an indictment, I don’t know what is. Mexico has become the land of opportunity, while the United States is sinking into third world status. It looks like Obama and his traitorous skunks in the DemoRat Party have accomplished their goal of retribution on American colonialism.
However, there is a silver lining to this exodus. The teat has dried up. The leeches are moving back to their mother country, undoubtedly looking for another host to suck dry:
"They're going back home because they can't get medical help or government assistance anymore," Frausto said, "And when it's getting so difficult for them to find a job without proper documentation, it's pushing them away."
Who needs a fence when we have Obamanomics

North Carolina's Illegal Alien Exodus
A major exodus is taking place in North Carolina. Illegal aliens are leaving in droves. The bad economy coupled with laws that prohibit the issuance of driver’s licenses to “non-documented persons” have made life a bit tougher for those who have no regard for our immigration laws. The Newsobserver.com reports:
Many of the ones who are leaving are in the country illegally, Velicquez said. Because of changes in the law, they can no longer get driver's licenses, which makes it nearly impossible to work. And they worry about getting caught, arrested and deported, earning criminal records that would make it even harder to ever get legal papers.
"If you're struggling, they're struggling twice as hard," said Leo Reich, Latino director for Neighbor to Neighbor ministries in Raleigh. "Economically, it hits them twice as hard. It was hard for them before, and now the jobs they were able to get are being taken by [Americans], who are now willing to work at those jobs when they weren't willing to before.
During the boom years, bus loads of illegals invaded North Carolina. Now, they are using the same company that brought them here to go back to Mexico.
Ten to 20 people a day from North Carolina board buses run by Tornado Bus Co. headed for Mexico, said Maria Velicquez, assistant manager for the company's Raleigh office. That's a big turnaround from when Tornado came to North Carolina during the economic boom 15 years ago, bringing busloads of immigrants into the state every day.
This company is obviously trafficking in illegal aliens. Why isn’t anyone investigating these scoundrels? Is it any wonder that they have such a blatant disregard for the law?
They estimate that we have about 13 million illegal aliens in this country. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, North Carolina has its fair share:
There's no way to know how many Hispanics have left since last April, when the U.S. Census Bureau found 800,120 Hispanic people in North Carolina, compared to 378,963 in 2000, a 111 percent increase. In 2000, Hispanics made up 4.7 percent of the state's population; in 2010, they were 8.4 percent
Come and visit a construction site in Mecklenburg County. You wouldn’t know there was an exodus taking place. Most of the workers are illegals, who can’t speak a bit of English. If you want to see a true exodus, start taking away business licenses from companies that hire them. The Tornado Bus Company will have a “Help Wanted” poster on their front doors.

Enforce the Law and the Illegals Will Deport Themselves
Illegals are leaving Arizona in droves. It just goes to show you that if you enforce the law, they will leave.
I have to comment on the lady in this video. She is a business owner and without a doubt a long time resident; and she can't speak English? That's a problem. One of the bonds that binds us as citizens is a common language; that used to be a requirement.
This lady demonstrates how serious the illegal alien problem is in Arizona. A nation cannot survive when you have diasporas that refuse to assimilate. Is it any wonder the citizens of Arizona have had enough.
