"Moral Mondays" Protestors Import Out of State Union Workers

Liberals would have us believe that the “Moral Mondays” protestors are grass roots activists fighting the good fight against the evil republicans in North Carolina’s state legislature.  Well, we’re finding out it’s all a charade.  These events are well funded by out of state organizations even the protestors are not from North Carolina.

Here is an excerpt from an interview conducted at a rally in Winston-Salem, NC.

"Sometimes financial constraints are just an issue; the union steps up and supports that issue," said Daren Howell, a member of 1199 SEIU in Boston.
Howell said it to a member of the NCGOP at Monday's massive voting rights rally in Winston-Salem, who was there with microphone and camera interviewing protesters.

"Literally, we walked in and the first person I said, 'Where you from?' and they said New York," said NCGOP spokesman Ricky Diaz. "The unions were bussing them in to protest our voter ID law here in North Carolina."

That's consistent with an allegation Diaz has been pushing for months: that so-called "Moral Monday" rallies are bought and paid for by out-of-state unions.

"This video is further proof that out of state money is funding Moral Monday here," said Diaz.

During the three-minute clip, the NCGOP member holding the microphone asks Howell, "Some people are complaining that the protesters are being paid by unions. What do you think about that?"

Howell answers, "I think the reality is that if you ask anyone whether or not they wanted to be here or if they had to be paid to be here, you'll see that they would be here regardless. Sometimes financial constraints are just an issue. The union steps up and supports that issue."

The interviewer then asks Howell, "How does it work, is that an hourly wage when you come down here? Is that how it works?"

Howell replies, "It depends. It could be a stipend. It could be per diem. It could be, you know, on your own accord, if you had that allowance."

Diaz says that amounts to a smoking gun; proof of the NCGOP assertion that unions are paying protesters to come to North Carolina Moral Monday rallies.

I don’t recall anybody funding my trips to Tea Party events in Washington D.C. and Raleigh, but I’m told by progressives it was all paid for by the Koch brothers.  Where do I send my receipts?

Another Global Warming Protest Canceled Because of Cold

Why do global warming alarmists schedule protest in the middle of winter?  Every year they get canceled due to “unfavorable weather conditions.”  You’d think they would learn by now.  The Daily Caller reported:

Fossil Free Yale, a group pushing the university to divest itself from fossil fuels, told the Yale Daily News that frigid, snowy weather set for this weekend will mean their global warming protest will have to be postponed.

FFY’s Mitch Barrow said that “unfavorable weather conditions and other logistical issues, including some cancellations from speakers and performance groups” would mean they would not be able to rally on Global Divestment Day — a day where environmental groups urge institutions like Yale to divest from fossil fuels, like coal, natural gas and oil.

Yale should divest itself of stupidity.  The halls would be full of tumbleweeds if that ever happened.

The DNC Toilet Bowl is Starting to Fill Up in Charlotte

The DNC toilet bowl is starting to fill up. Protestors and teat squawkers are squatting on public property in anticipation of the party of panderers to renominate King Barack Hussein Obama as their champion for everything un-American.

By 5 p.m. Saturday, campers had set up about 20 tents at the park. About 50 campers were seen at the camp during the day. Occupy Charlotte spokesman Michael Zytkow said he wasn’t sure how many protesters would ultimately wind up camping there, but “it could be hundreds.”

The protesters plan to join Sunday’s March on Wall Street South, which organizers hope will draw thousands

Even foreigners have decided to participate. Illegal aliens riding the UndocuBus have come to plant their flag and demand their share of the pie. According to these colonizers, they have Human Rights that supersede U.S. laws and sovereignty. And they want them now!

Today, more than 700 malcontents marched through the streets of Charlotte

For many protesters, Charlotte’s a natural target.

Organizers have said they want to make a major stand in Charlotte because it is the nation’s second-largest financial center, after New York City. Protesters for the Occupy movement and other causes argue that the big banks have done too little to prevent home foreclosures, saddled students with high-interest loans and funded environmentally destructive practices.

North Carolina’s right-to-work laws have inflamed union activists, and the city’s burgeoning Hispanic population has brought immigration issues to the fore.

Some environmental groups, meanwhile, have targeted Duke Energy, which they view as a major polluter.

Duke has drawn protesters’ ire for its use of coal and for its investments in nuclear energy. They have called on the company to focus its resources on renewable energy sources, such as wind and solar power, which generate fewer emissions and less waste.

Duke says its critics fail to acknowledge the company’s efforts to retire its oldest, dirtiest coal-fired power plants and invest in cleaner technologies.

Duke has come under fire for its reliance on coal, a major source of air pollution, and for two rate hikes since 2009
.

It’s too bad we couldn’t flush this human debris down the Bank of America stadium toilet. I don’t believe the drain is big enough to accomodate these turds.

Activist Already Protesting in Charlotte, NC

An air of discontent is spreading through the rank and file of the Democratic Party. Protestors are streaming into the Queen City with their hand painted signs. What’s notable about these malcontents is their association with environmental groups. The very constituency that Obama and the DNC have pandered to for years.

The sidewalk demonstration was orchestrated by the environmental group Greenpeace and the Coalition to March on Wall Street, an umbrella organization of about 70 groups planning to protest at the Sept. 4-6 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte.

Greenpeace field organizer Monica Embrey said Duke is aligned with the DNC, the chief fundraising organization for the party.

Duke, which recently merged with Progress Energy to form the largest U.S. utility, has used its size and influence to impact the Democratic Party, Embrey said.

For instance, she noted that Duke had given an in-kind donation of $1 million worth of donated office space for the DNC in advance of the convention.

Charlotte is in for a rude awakening. All of those Obamabots with their 2012 bumper stickers will be running for cover when the shit hits the fan. Welcome to the big leagues “uptown” crowd.

The Democratic Party's Patchwork Quilt of Special Interest Groups is Fraying

The Democratic Party’s patchwork quilt of special interest groups is starting to fray at the edges. The stitches of patronage, paternalism, and pandering can’t hold these single issue constituents together. The ideological fabric is beginning to tear. And the protestors who will march on the DNC convention in Charlotte, NC are a permanent stain on a failed platform that is designed to divide, instead of unite the American people.

A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police spokesman stated that over 5000 protestors are expected to swarm “uptown.” And if you look at the participants, you’ll realize these are the Democratic Party’s constituents.

The Coalition to March on Wall Street South includes almost 80 groups who plan to participate in large-scale demonstrations before and during the convention, focused on social and economic issues.

Among the members are the Farm Labor Organizing Committee, AFL-CIO, which hopes to put a spotlight on labor issues, especially those specific to North Carolina.

The convention officially starts Tuesday but gears up on Labor Day with CarolinaFest 2012, a free event uptown that organizers hope will draw thousands. The family friendly event will include music and food vendors.

That same day, labor groups will gather at the Southern Workers Assembly at Wedgewood Baptist Church. That’s off Tyvola Road, near Marion Diehl Park, several miles from the uptown festivities.

“Our goal is to use the national attention and the spotlight around the DNC to highlight some of the pretty serious issues facing farm workers and North Carolinian workers,” said Justin Flores, the director of programs for the farm labor group.

Chapters from UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Asheville and N.C. State’s Students for Democratic Society will also converge as part of the coalition. Students from other areas will also be bused from eastern North Carolina, Greensboro and Asheville, Hickson said.

The only group not mentioned is the illegal alien lobby. I imagine they’re too busy. After all, somebody has to do the work Americans refuse to do. So, I’m told.

Occupiers Plan on Turning Charlotte, NC into a Harlot

Hey Charlotte, are you looking forward to the Democratic National Convention? Well, so is a bunch of other people. The anarchist, communist, hippies and general guttural trash who are now defiling Chicago are casting a ravenous eye on the Queen City’s bloomers. The syphillic 99% plan on turning our fair Charlotte into a harlot.

Here is a taste of what we can expect:

But around 6 p.m. a small band of protesters believed to be anarchists clashed with police and reportedly threw bricks and other objects at officers, injuring one. Officers outnumbered protesters and dragged several away.

Officers wore riot helmets and made a show of force as they used batons to force a crowd of unruly protesters who refused to leave in another direction.

The confrontation came one day after demonstrators clashed with police. Saturday night, several hundred people marched in front of landmark buildings and through residential neighborhoods, blocking buses and other motorists.

The events are significant to Charlotte because protest groups are planning to converge on the city en masse hoping to cast media attention on issues ranging from economic inequality and war to the environment.

Let’s get this straight. These kids don’t have a job; yet, they can afford to travel around the country protesting. They’re against war; but throw bricks at police and destroy small businesses in their wake. They’re environmentalist, but trash every city they occupy.

I have to ask? Are these people schizophrenic?

Charlotte, you are in over your head. Here are some lyrics from an Iron Maiden song that describes what’s going to happen to our fair city:

Beat her, mistreat her

Do anything that you please

Bite her, excite her

Make her get down on her knees

Abuse her, misuse her

She can take all that you've got

Caress her, molest her

She always does what you want

You're running away

Don't you know what you're doing?

Can't you see it'll lead you to ruin?

Charlotte you've taken your life

And you've thrown it away

Well, a city can't throw it's life away, but it sure can destroy the lives of others by inviting a bunch of degenerates into town.

Occupiers Try to Storm D.C. Museum

When we tea partiers went to D.C., many of us visited the museums. We all knew that placards weren’t allowed, and put them aside, so as to enter. No one was arrested or peppered sprayed.

When I tried to enter the Capitol building, a security guard informed me that I couldn’t enter with my thermos, and wasn’t allowed to leave it beside the building. I had to put it in the trash can. Now, I was a little pissed off about that, but I complied anyway. And believe me it was a little embarrassing, when I had to dumpster dive for my property after the tour. But I guess we tea partiers have a different mentality that the Occupiers:

Protesters clashed with security staff when they tried to enter a museum in Washington on Saturday, prompting one guard to use pepper spray and leading to at least one arrest, a spokeswoman said.

The incident occurred at The Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum around 3:15 pm (1915 GMT), after hundreds of activists had marched from Freedom Plaza, near the White House, along the National Mall towards the US Capitol.

Some of those in the demonstration were affiliated with the Occupy DC protest group that sprung up earlier this week as a spin-off of the larger Occupy Wall Street movement in New York, angered at "corporate greed."

Smithsonian spokeswoman Linda St. Thomas said a group of the protesters were confronted when they tried to push through the doors and enter the Air and Space Museum.

"When they were told they couldn't bring the banners they were carrying inside one security officer used pepper spray," she said.

"There were a couple of hundred protesters in the area at the time and Washington police were called. There was one arrest that I know of," she added, noting that the museum closed its doors two hours early because of the clash.

Occupy DC, a young group of several dozen protesters, is camping out at McPherson Square on Washington's K Street, where many political lobbyists have their offices.

The mantra in the above video is the whole world is watching. Yeah, watching you punks make an ass of yourselves.

Wall Street Occupiers Publish List of Demands

The Occupiers of Wall Street have finally lent a tongue to their anti-capitalistic protestations. Here are 13 proposals from the great unwashed (and I mean just that):

Demand one: Restoration of the living wage. This demand can only be met by ending "Free trade" by re-imposing trade tariffs on all imported goods entering the American market to level the playing field for domestic family farming and domestic manufacturing as most nations that are dumping cheap products onto the American market have radical wage and environmental regulation advantages. Another policy that must be instituted is raise the minimum wage to twenty dollars an hr.

Are these people economic retards? Raising import tariffs is a tax on all of us. Where do these hippies think that cost is going to go? If they really want to level the playing field, then I suggest deregulation and outright abolition of federal agencies, and a simplification of the tax code.

As for a competitive wage, not many businesses can afford to pay $20 an hour. Wake up asshole.

Demand two: Institute a universal single payer healthcare system. To do this all private insurers must be banned from the healthcare market as their only effect on the health of patients is to take money away from doctors, nurses and hospitals preventing them from doing their jobs and hand that money to wall st. investors.

I take it these yahoos haven’t heard the horror stories of the Canadian and U.K. healthcare systems. It’s quite obvious that students wrote this nonsense.

Demand three: Guaranteed living wage income regardless of employment.

What in the hell is that supposed to mean?

Demand four: Free college education.

Nothing is free retard.

Demand five: Begin a fast track process to bring the fossil fuel economy to an end while at the same bringing the alternative energy economy up to energy demand.

And we’ve seen what kind of boondoggle that is. Hell, the alternative energy economy can’t survive without taxpayer largess. Can anybody say Solyndra, Solartech, etc...etc...etc

Demand six: One trillion dollars in infrastructure (Water, Sewer, Rail, Roads and Bridges and Electrical Grid) spending now.

And that worked so well in the original Stimulus Bill. Please ...

Demand seven: One trillion dollars in ecological restoration planting forests, reestablishing wetlands and the natural flow of river systems and decommissioning of all of America's nuclear power plants.

If we restored the natural flow of the river systems, the whole west coast of California would become a ghost town. Actually, that might be a good idea.

Demand eight: Racial and gender equal rights amendment.

They actually mean special rights and privileges.

Demand nine: Open borders migration. anyone can travel anywhere to work and live.

That means the abolition of the United States. Only a communist would propose this kind of nonsense.

Demand ten: Bring American elections up to international standards of a paper ballot precinct counted and recounted in front of an independent and party observers system.

International standards? And who will these independent and party observers consist of? Commies like the morons who wrote this dribble?

Demand eleven: Immediate across the board debt forgiveness for all. Debt forgiveness of sovereign debt, commercial loans, home mortgages, home equity loans, credit card debt, student loans and personal loans now! All debt must be stricken from the "Books." World Bank Loans to all Nations, Bank to Bank Debt and all Bonds and Margin Call Debt in the stock market including all Derivatives or Credit Default Swaps, all 65 trillion dollars of them must also be stricken from the "Books." And I don't mean debt that is in default, I mean all debt on the entire planet period.

Written by someone who has ran up a god awful debt.

Demand twelve: Outlaw all credit reporting agencies.

So all the irresponsible people can have unlimited credit. Didn’t we already learn that lesson?

Demand thirteen: Allow all workers to sign a ballot at any time during a union organizing campaign or at any time that represents their yeah or nay to having a union represent them in collective bargaining or to form a union.

Is that before or after getting an ass beating from an SEIU thug?

These demands will create so many jobs it will be completely impossible to fill them without an open borders policy.

Or we are sitting at home in the dark without a job and starving; listening to our argumentative neighbors who can’t speak a word of English.

Wisconsin Protesters More Greek Than Egyptian

Union protesters crowded Wisconsin’s state capitol for a second straight day. Teachers called in sick, shutting down schools. The press and their vociferous, socialist compatriots would have us believe that the plight of Badger state public employees is the equivalent of the Egyptians. I say they’re more like the Greeks.

The example of Ronald Reagan comes to mind right about now. When the air traffic controllers went on strike, he fired them. If the teachers continue to neglect their duty, they should receive the same fate. There are a lot of prospects who would love to have a job, especially in this economy.

When the going gets tough, the Democrats spirit across state lines. This is reminiscent of Texas Democrats who played the same game a couple of years ago. They, like their Wisconsin counterparts, denied the senate a quorum; effectively cutting off debate and state business. Justice delayed will not be justice denied. Sooner or later they have to come home.

Wisconsin has a long progressive history and the election of a conservative governor is an affront to their socialist principles. WTMJ and the Associated Press reports the following:

Wisconsin has long been a bastion for workers' rights. It was the first state to grant collective bargaining rights to public employees more than a half-century ago. And the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees was founded in 1936 in Madison.

But when voters elected Walker, an outspoken conservative, along with GOP majorities in both legislative chambers, it set the stage for a dramatic reversal of the state's labor history.

Under Walker's plan, state employees' share of pension and health care costs would go up by an average of 8 percent.

Unions still could represent workers, but could not seek pay increases above those pegged to the Consumer Price Index unless approved by a public referendum. Unions also could not force employees to pay dues and would have to hold annual votes to stay organized.

In exchange for bearing more costs and losing bargaining leverage, public employees were promised no furloughs or layoffs. Walker has threatened to order layoffs of up to 6,000 state workers if the measure does not pass

We can expect this type of Grecian protest throughout the country. Obama and his union goon’s chickens have come home to roost.

Protestors Target Walmart Developer

A group of D.C. anti-WalMart protestors are planning a demonstration on the front lawn of the developer.  They went so far as to publish a flyer naming the time, day and address of the “offender”.

This is reminiscent of what happened to a Bank of America executive last year.  A child was trapped inside the house; cowering in the bathroom.  Nina Easton, a neighbor, retells the tale and how it affected that family, especially one of the children who were under siege by these thugs.

I wonder if the press is going to cover this event.  The only media that reported last year’s fiasco was Fox News.  I guess we can expect the same.
