Nanny Bloomberg Targets North Carolina Sen. Kay Hagan

Mayor Nanny Bloomberg is taking his authoritative freak show on the road.  The lord and master of the five boroughs isn’t content on flouting power in his NYC fiefdom.  Now he wants to impose his will on the rest of the country.  His Grace has targeted vulnerable senators in so-called swing states with ads like the following:

 

I don’t trust Nanny Bloomberg.  This ad may seem innocuous.  He isn’t.

I personally take issue with an authoritative NYC mayor trying to have influence over a North Carolina senator.  Senator Kay Hagan is supposed to look out after our state’s interest.  Unfortunately, she like many others has been swayed by outside players.  That’s why the 17^th Amendment should be repealed.  A North Carolina U.S. senator should have to answer to the state legislators and not to an ambitious northeastern city dictator.  And if she fails to protect our interest, we at least would have a mechanism to recall her, which is what would have happened after her vote on Obamacare.

A Gun and a Box of Chocolates for Mayor Bloomberg

Stupid is as stupid does.  Somebody give Lord Bloomberg a box of chocolates.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who politicized the Sandy Hook tragedy within hours last Friday, just wrapped up a press conference announcing new plans to fight gun violence and to counter the National Rifle Association with his own Super PAC. Bloomberg was asked by a reporter to respond to Rep. Louie Gohmert’s comments over the weekend that he wished the principal of the school, who died trying to take down shooter Adam Lanza, had a gun. Bloomberg responded by saying, “There are dumb statements and then there are stupid statements…..I don’t know what the gun would have done.”

What would a gun have done?  I believe somebody with a gun would have taken out that evil bastard.  Wash down that genius sound bite with a sip from your 16 ounce soda, Mayor Doomberg.

Ghouls Feed Off of Connecticut Tragedy

It hasn’t been 24 hours and the ghouls are already feeding off the slain in Connecticut.  Shame is a foreign word to these liberals.   Most people would recoil at the horrors of murdered school children; but not these people.  The Progressives don’t see tragedy.  What they see is an opportunity to advance their agenda.  Here are comments from the usual suspects:

"With all the carnage from gun violence in our country, it's still almost impossible to believe that a mass shooting in a kindergarten class could happen," Bloomberg said. "It has come to that. Not even kindergarteners learning their A,B,Cs are safe. We heard after Columbine that it was too soon to talk about gun laws. We heard it after Virginia Tech. After Tucson and Aurora and Oak Creek. And now we are hearing it again. For every day we wait, 34 more people are murdered with guns. Today, many of them were five-year olds."

Boston Mayor Thomas Menino, Bloomberg's fellow co-chair, said he is "overcome with both grief and outrage" after the shooting and called for more to be done.

"As a mayor who has witnessed too many lives forever altered by gun violence, it is my responsibility to fight for action," he said. "Today’s tragedy reminds us that now is the time for action. Innocent children will now never attend a prom, never play in a big game, never step foot on a college campus. Now is the time for a national policy on guns that takes the loopholes out of the laws, the automatic weapons out of our neighborhoods and the tragedies like today out of our future.”

Of course what would a tragedy be without the musings of Michael Moore, who is a big fan of Hugo Chavez and the Cuban regime:

Liberal filmmaker Michael Moore lashed out at the National Rifle Association this afternoon after news broke about the horrific shooting in Connecticut.

“The NRA hates freedom,” he wrote on Twitter. “They don’t want you to have the freedom to send your children to school & expect them to come home alive.”

Moore insisted earlier that it was important for gun control proponents to discuss the issue – especially during times of tragedy.

“The way to honor these dead children is to demand strict gun control, free mental health care, and an end to violence as public policy,” he wrote.

A member of Congress, another New Yorker, stated she will embarrass the Obama regime if they don’t enforce strict gun laws:

In the wake of the deadly Connecticut school shooting, Rep. Carolyn McCarthy said she has warned the White House “the gloves are off” if President Obama fails to act on the issue.

McCarthy (D-N.Y.), the foremost gun control advocate in Congress, said she spoke with White House Chief of Staff Jack Lew before Election Day and told him she will exert pressure on the White House to push for gun control legislation.

“I said, ‘Jack, I know the president is going through an election and I’m telling you after the election I’m coming out full force,’” McCarthy told POLITICO Friday. “I was just giving the White House a heads up that the gloves are off on my side and I was going to do everything I possibly could. … If that meant embarrassing everybody, that’s what I would do.”

It’s too bad she didn’t embarrass the administration when it came to Fast and Furious, but hey this isn’t political, so she says.

You have to shake your head at the reactions of these liberals.  They’re willing to place blame on an inanimate object, instead of addressing the root cause of this evil.  Maybe these godless heathens should take a look in the mirror before trampling on our Second Amendment rights.  But that reflection is too damn ugly for them to bear.

Hurricane Sandy Transforms the American Northeast

Hey America, welcome to what a total transformation looks like.  The Northeast is tragically living out Obama’s dreams from his father.  People are standing in lines for gas; dumpster diving for food; and freezing to death for want of electricity.  In the meantime, the political elites are parading their fake commiseration around, while supplying the media with supersized generators.  After all, we don’t want those elites to suffer the vicissitudes of Mother Nature while reporting on a marathon.  Oh, I forgot.  Hurricane Sandy was a man-made event just like this race.  What in the hell was I thinking?

And for intermission at this theater of the absurd, utility workers traveled all the way from Alabama to help out the good people of New Jersey, only to be harassed and ran out of town by union workers.  Obamaville will freeze over before “scabs” are allowed to work.  And by the way, you Jerseyite plebeians will shut your mouths and enjoy your collective misery.  This is the new norm and you will like it.

For what it’s worth Northeasterners, we toothless inbreeds in flyover country feel your pain.  Maybe this election cycle your village won’t vote for the idiot to run things – just saying.

Lord Bloomberg Makes Another Ban in His Five Borough Fiefdom

Michael Bloomberg, the Lord and Master of the Five Boroughs, has proclaimed from on high a new mandate to fight obesity. The mayor wants to ban large sugary drinks in targeted venues:

New Yorkers and elected officials alike are weighing in on Mayor Michael Bloomberg's plan to ban sweetened drinks larger than 16 fluid ounces from nearly all city restaurants, movie theaters and food carts, but not grocery stores and convenience stores. NY1's Grace Rauh filed the following report.

If Mayor Bloomberg gets his way, and it looks like he will, large sodas and other sugary drinks will be a thing of the past, at least at restaurants, movie theaters, cafes, and stadiums across the five boroughs.

Under the mayor's proposed plan, drinks at these locations would not be over 16 ounces. If businesses break the rule, they'll be hit with a $200 fine

Thomas Farley, the city's health commissioner, said the measure is a new way to fight obesity. He estimates that over 60 percent of New Yorkers are overweight.

This isn’t the first time New York’s Lord and Protector banned legal products from the public square. Bloomberg outlawed cigarette smoking in parks and public places. He waged a war on restaurants that used salt and transfats. He ultimately had sixteen manufactures and vendors alter their recipes in order to accommodate his strange obsession with other peoples eating habits.

Bloomberg the Control Freak isn’t satisfied lording over the sheeple in his fiefdom. He’s tried to expand his territory by making demands on others outside of his jurisdiction. Mr. Busybody used $1.5 million of NYC tax money to fund a sting operation on private gun owners in Ohio, Nevada and Tennessee.

And just recently, Bloomberg the Great suggested the federal government force cities to accept illegal aliens. Notice how this statist bastard makes no distinction between illegal and legal immigrants:

“There’s no reason why you have to have a common immigration policy for all of America,” he argued. “You could let each state do it differently.

“I would argue the federal government should go one step further. They should deliberately force some places that don’t want immigrants to take them, because that’s the only solution for these big, hollowed-out cities where industry has left and is never going to come back unless you get some people to move there.”

Bloomberg caused a ruckus last year during an appearance on “Meet the Press,” where he proposed opening the door to immigrants on the condition that they agree to live in Detroit for five to 10 years, restoring that struggling city by starting new businesses.

As he often does, Bloomberg blamed Democrats and Republicans alike for the immigration mess. Only this time, he took a dig directly at Obama.

“There are no heroes here,” he concluded. “Today, with a liberal Democratic administration in Pennsylvania Avenue, we are deporting more people than the last four or five presidents put together.”

Lord Bloomberg has a god complex that’s worse than Barack Obama’s. Heaven forbid he ever obtains national office.
