The Incredible Shrinking EPA

If there was a movie called the Incredible Shrinking EPA, I would go and see it. I would especially enjoy the scene where they were crying at their desk. But instead, I’ll just have to read about it:

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) shed approximately 1,200 jobs as roughly 1,600 employees departed and fewer than 400 new employees were hired during President Donald Trump’s first year and a half in office.

Departing employees included “at least 260 scientists, 185 ‘environmental protection specialists’ and 106 engineers,” according to the Washington Post.

The EPA’s workforce is now down 8 percent to a size it has not been since former president Ronald Reagan was in office, reported the WaPo.

Of course, we had to get a parting shot from a disgruntled bureaucrat:


“I felt it was time to leave given the irresponsible, ongoing diminishment of agency resources, which has recklessly endangered our ability to execute our responsibilities as public servants,” scientist Ann Williamson told the WaPo.

Williamson left the EPA in March after working for the agency for 33 years, according to the WaPo.

Trump Administration Tells International Criminal Court to go to Hell

What a difference a president makes. I don’t think Americans can truly comprehend how close we came to losing our country. For the past 25 years, our sovereignty and economic power was being subverted by Beltway courtesans who entangled us in unfavorable trade deals and compromising agreements. Some of those traitors work in the State Department. These scoundrels have plotted to sell us out to foreign bodies like the International Criminal Court. That was until Trump came to town. Here is a message to the ICC from national security advisor, John Bolton as reported by CBS News:

"Today, on the eve of September 11th, I want to deliver a clear and unambiguous message on behalf of the President of the United States," Bolton said. "The United States will use any means necessary to protect our citizens and those of our allies from unjust prosecution by this illegitimate court.We will not cooperate with the ICC," Bolton said. "We will provide no assistance to the ICC. And we certainly will not join the ICC. We will let the ICC die on its own. After all, for all intents and purposes, the ICC is already dead to us."

The ICC was formally established in 2002, although then-President George W. Bush authorized the U.S. to "un-sign" the Rome Statute and the Senate never ratified it. Bolton suggested the ICC was created to attack U.S. leadership, not to truly hold egregious international criminals accountable.

"In theory, the ICC holds perpetrators of the most egregious atrocities accountable for their crimes, provides justice to the victims, and deters future abuses," Bolton said. "In practice, however, the court has been ineffective, unaccountable, and indeed, outright dangerous. Moreover, the largely unspoken, but always central, aim of its most vigorous supporters was to constrain the United States. The objective was not limited to targeting individual U.S. service members, but rather America's senior political leadership, and its relentless determination to keep our country secure."

If the ICC does come after the U.S., Israel, or any allies, Bolton said the U.S. will not sit quietly. He listed a number of possible actions Bolton might pursue, from withdrawing financial aid to banning judges from entering the country.

"We will respond against the ICC and its personnel to the extent permitted by U.S. law," he said


What is that strange feeling I’m having? Could it be that I’m proud of my president? After eight years of Obama, I forgot what that felt like.

Illegal Aliens and Immigrants Flee our Welfare System

One of the problems the citizens of the United States has is Washington D.C.’s failure to enforce our laws. This third world invasion couldn’t have happened without the federal government’s aiding and abetting of illegal aliens. One of those factors is ignoring The Public Charge Doctrine which deports immigrants, whether legal or illegal, who are dependent on our welfare system. However, the Trump administration is putting the fear of the law back into these diasporas. Here is an excerpt from the Daily Wire:


Illegal immigrants are asking to be dropped from the welfare program because they are scared of being deported, while some legal immigrants apparently believe their legal status will be in jeopardy because of rumors circulating about potential Trump Administration rules, according to health officials speaking to POLITICO.

There were some 7.4 million women and children enrolled in WIC when President Donald Trump first took office; that number declined to roughly 6.8 million in May. The drop-off in WIC enrollment is also being attributed to a bolstered economy and a decline in immigrant birth rates.


WIC, created in 1974, is a "largely immigration-blind" program, notes POLITICO; "most of the infants it serves are citizens born in the U.S. regardless of their parents’ immigration status."


We also are going to have to address birthright citizenship. There has never been a definitive ruling on this matter and there shouldn’t be. Congress shall decide what constitutes citizenship under Article I Section 8 and under Section 5 of the 14th Amendment. It’s time we put Congress on notice and they in turn put a stranglehold on this runaway judiciary.

Swamp Chews Up and Spits Out EPA Admin. Scott Pruitt

President Trump’s EPA administrator has resigned. The Swamp’s unrelenting attacks on Scott Pruitt was more than he and his family could stand. But let’s be honest. This former congressman from Oklahoma gave his enemies the weapons that laid him low. His political demise almost mirrored that of Secretary Tom Price over at HHS. How could this happen?


I’m having a hard time understanding how these two politicians let themselves fall prey to liberal fanatics. Did they think this was a level playing field? What gave them the idea that transgressions committed by predecessors would be afforded to them as well? Did they think Beltway courtesans were going to give them a fair shake?


As an outsider, I’m astonished at Scott Pruitt and Tom Price’s bad judgement. These two were not political novices. They should’ve known, or at least sensed, that they had a target on their backs. Here is a truism: conservatives are the enemy of big government and its enablers; therefore, you need to live an exemplary life if you’re going to run one of these agencies.


There is a double standard in Washington D.C.. We needn’t emphasize this. But here is an example as outlined by News List:

So far, the bureaucrats responsible have gotten away with it. At the same time it has argued the bad stuff just washed away, the EPA declared an expansive new Superfund site, something the agency long wanted. And after playing their role in turning the Animas orange, the EPA contractors were almost immediately rehired to address the mess. Having regional contracts, they may be in line for new Superfund work at other nearby mine sites.

Among the documents is a June 2014 work order for a planned cleanup that noted that the old mine had not been accessible since 1995, when the entrance partially collapsed. The plan appears to have been produced by Environmental Restoration, a private contractor working for EPA.

Obama's Deep State Still Trafficking Illegal Aliens

One of the many outrages the Obama administration committed is a program that trafficked illegal aliens around the country.  Basically, federal agents became government funded coyotes.  Laws didn’t matter.  The ends justifies the means and to Democrats that was changing the electorate by aiding and abetting a third world invasion.


Americans thought the rule of law would be reinstated with the Trump administration; but apparently, we were wrong.  Here is an excerpt from Judicial Watch:


It appears that the Trump administration has chosen to ignore the concerns of rank-and-file federal agents, instead opting to quietly extend the controversial Obama-era policy that relocates illegal immigrants to unsuspecting communities nationwide. It is known as “Catch and Release” and frustrated DHS sources tell Judicial Watch the Trump administration is essentially facilitating the ongoing commission of a federal immigration crime despite its tough border security rhetoric. In a recent newspaper article Border Patrol agents in Texas say they’ve been ordered to release illegal immigrants caught entering through Mexico because there is no bed space at detention facilities. This has provoked a surge in illegal crossings, Border Patrol officials say, because there is no punishment to deter the lawbreakers.


Why is this happening?  The reason being, Obama’s deep state is still running the show:


In the same news story, the head of the ICE officers’ union (Chris Crane) and the National Border Patrol Council (Brandon Judd) said detrimental old policies remain in place because Obama managers are still running their agencies. Crane, a veteran ICE agent, refers to the Obama holdovers as “incompetent, corrupt and anti-enforcement.” Judd said word is getting back to Mexico and Central America that illegal border crossers will be released if caught, resulting in a huge increase in crossings. In a period of a few months, border crossings skyrocketed from 11,100 in a single month to 26,000, according to figures provided in the news story. Immigrants from Asia are also entering the U.S. through Mexico, federal officials say. In San Diego, California agents apprehended dozens of illegal aliens from Asian countries in the last few months, including more than 60 from India. 


President Trump needs to place an enema up the federal government’s ass and purge this country of Obama’s turds.

Russia, Russia, Russia!

Russia, Russia, Russia!  I'm beginning to wonder if Jan Brady has become the dark lord of all media.  Since the election, a manufactured lie has overtaken the news cycle.  Democrats and their propaganda masters want us to believe the Trump administration is infested with Russian operatives.  They can’t prove anything, but they persist in this narrative.  To be quite honest, I’ve had enough and have tuned out.  I can’t even watch Fox News because of this crap.

I recently subscribed to Netflix and a whole new world has opened up to me.  I am a documentary fool and this venue is paradise.  A couple of nights ago, I watched Liberating a Continent: John Paul II and the Fall of Communism.  I swear every documentary I watch on totalitarian regimes the following tactics are employed:

Suppress the Christian faith

Take over schools and indoctrinate children

Attack the family unit

Instill a politically correct environment

Criminalize political foes

Does that sound familiar?  It should because Progressives are employing these tactics right here in the United States.  

There are plenty of remarkable observations in this documentary, but the one that stood out for me was the Solidarity movement in Poland.  The narrator stated the Soviet Union boasted they had created a workers’ paradise.  However, the Poles didn’t feel that way; they wanted freedom and self-government.

The narrator commented American socialists couldn’t understand the Solidarity movement.  Maybe they would understand it better had they lived under a totalitarian regime.       

I will say Pope John Paul II was an amazing man.  He understood the insidious nature of socialism/communism.  Maybe someone will send a copy of this documentary to the current Vicar of Christ.  

Mexico Prepared to Defend Border Against U.S. Deportations

Mexican officials have declared they will defend their northern border from U.S. mass deportations which include their own citizens.  They state a nation has a right to defend itself against foreign invaders.  Here is an excerpt from Zero Hedge:     

Quoted by the WSJ, Mexico’s Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray said at a ceremony on Wednesday “I want to make it emphatically clear that neither Mexico’s government or the Mexican people have any reason to accept provisions that have been unilaterally imposed by one government on the other.” He added that “we won’t accept it because we don’t have to,” he added, in reference to U.S. plans to return illegal migrants to Mexico, regardless of their nationality.

"We also have control of our borders and we will exercise it fully," he said, adding that Mexico was prepared to go the United Nations to defend the freedoms and rights of Mexicans under international law.

  

Apparently, those same freedoms and rights don’t apply to the United States.  Didn’t Mexico aid and abet this mass migration from the third-world into Gringoland?  Didn’t all these illegal aliens come through their country?  Isn’t it poetic justice that this mass of humanity should go back the same way they came?  Apparently, not.

  

As Reuters adds, Mexico reacted with anger on Wednesday to what one official called "hostile" new U.S. immigration guidelines hours before senior Trump administration envoys began arriving in Mexico City for talks on the volatile issue. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security unveiled plans on Tuesday to consider almost all illegal immigrants subject to deportation, and will seek to send many of them to Mexico if they entered the United States from there, regardless of nationality.

Roberto Campa, who heads the human rights department of the Interior Ministry, said the plan to deport non-Mexicans to Mexico was "hostile" and "unacceptable." Senators for the leading leftist opposition party, the Party of the Democratic Revolution, said Tillerson and Kelly were not welcome in the country and they urged Pena Nieto not to meet with them.

Hostile and unacceptable?  That’s exactly how Americans feel.  Geez, for some reason I don’t feel sorry for these corrupt scumbags.

Illegal Aliens to be Deported Without Court Hearing

Wow!  This is a welcomed change in policy.  Illegal aliens are going to be deported without a court hearing.  The Daily Caller reported the following:

With immigration courts reaching a record backlog in 2016, Secretary of Homeland Security John Kelly ordered Monday that illegal immigrants who have been in the U.S. for less than two years should be allowed to be deported without a court hearing.

Kelly signed two memos Monday that made significant changes to the nation’s immigration policy. They ordered the immediate construction of a border wall, expanded the amount of local police who will enforce immigration law, and put every illegal immigrant — excluding those protected under President Obama’s executive amnesty — at risk of deportation.

These people are here illegally, therefore, they do not have a right to due process for the simple fact that the United States doesn’t recognize their existence in this country.  And if the Supreme Court sticks its nose in this matter, the Trump administration needs to harshly remind these black robed oligarchs that Article III Section 2 dictates they have no jurisdiction in this matter.
