Marco Rubio Has to Answer for Univision

Marco Rubio has to answer for Univision.  His comments about amnesty, in a foreign language to foreigners who invaded this country, cannot be ignored.  Senator Ted Cruz confronted him on his subversive promises to undermine the rule of law by rewarding those who have no regard for American sovereignty or its citizens.  Here is an excerpt from the Daily Caller:

It began when Cruz said: “Marco went on Univision in Spanish and said he would not rescind President Obama’s illegal executive amnesty on his first day in office.” Rubio objected vehemently that Cruz was lying. But the transcript of the Univision program is clear: Rubio did indeed say what Cruz quotes him as saying. Was Cruz perhaps quoting Rubio out of context, making the statement seem to imply more than it really did?

Quite the reverse. Had Cruz cited the fuller context, Rubio would have looked much worse. He had actually told Univision that Obama’s DACA [Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals] is important. He added “At some point it’s going to have to end,” but then spelled out when and why: “it’s going to end because immigration reform is going to pass.” In other words, Obama’s illegal executive action would stay in place into an indefinite future time when legislation enacts a legal version of it anyway.

Marco Rubio won his senate seat with overwhelming  and enthusiastic Tea Party support.  This man turns around and stabs them in the back by colluding with the likes of Chuck Schumer, Dick Durbin, John McCain and Lindsey Graham.  His candidacy for president should have been strangled after that.  Marco Rubio has to answer for his betrayal.

Media Are Pleasantly Uncomfortable with Progressive Dictators

I have contended for years that progressives are content with strong armed “presidents” who are willing to go it alone to advance policies that are incongruent with life, liberty and property.  They seem to be pleasantly uncomfortable with blatant violations of the U.S. Constitution when it serves their ideology.  The editorial board at the Charlotte Observer openly professed this, as much, in a recent opinion piece.  Here is an excerpt:

Fourteen months ago, a fed up Barack Obama decided he no longer had the patience to wait on Congress to enact meaningful immigration reform. Instead, the president announced a series of executive actions that protected as many as 6 million undocumented immigrants from deportation.

The Observer editorial board was a bit uncomfortable with that decision. We weren’t sure of the wisdom – political or otherwise – of one man setting significant policy instead of Congress. But ultimately, Congress had neglected its responsibility on immigration, and we hoped the president’s action would change that.

Congress did serve its purpose.  The overwhelming majority voted against amnesty.  They followed the demands of the American people.  It may not have been what progressives, like the editorial board at the Charlotte Observer, wanted, but they did their constitutional responsibilities.  It’s Barack Obama who refuses to fulfill his responsibilities, as president, by enforcing our immigration laws.  Instead, he would rather act like a dictator by declaring edicts.

As we can expect, The Disturber is pleasantly uncomfortable about “executive action” on gun control. 

Most gun control measures aren’t about sweeping changes or magic solutions. In part, that’s because sweeping changes aren’t going to happen so long as Congress continues to do the bidding of the gun lobby. But also, gun control isn’t realistically about preventing all shootings big and small. It’s about doing common sense things – like expanding background checks – so that it’s harder for people who shouldn’t have guns to get them.

Americans have largely been split on stricter gun laws in general, but overwhelmingly in favor of some measures, including expanded background checks. While we’re still uncomfortable when the president acts without Congress, he is far from acting alone.

I have news for the Charlotte Observer.  The gun lobby, meaning the NRA and constitutionalist, represent millions of American citizens that progressives, like the ones on their editorial board, want to disenfranchise. 

Barack Obama may have the backing of a vocal minority who are pleasantly uncomfortable with a president who is willing to bypass Congress and act like a dictator.  The majority of us are not.

Sen. Marco Rubio's Stealth Amnesty

I don’t trust Senator Marco Rubio.  His collusion with the likes of Senators Schumer, McCain, Durban, and Graham on granting amnesty to unknown millions of illegal aliens rubbed me the wrong way and I certainly doubt he has changed his mind.  Come to find out he hasn’t.  Here is an excerpt from Doug Ross Journal:

In a September 21 interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity, Rubio said that within 10 or 12 years — which would be after the U.S. foreign-born population has swelled above 51 million on current trends — “you could have a broader debate about how has this worked out and should we allow some of them [the illegal foreign-born] to apply for green cards and eventually citizenship.”

In a quote provided yesterday to New York Magazine, Rubio’s spokesman made clear that Rubio’s position on citizenship for illegals has not changed since he worked with President Obama and Senator Schumer on the “Gang of Eight Bill.”

Rubio’s spokesman declared: “Marco has repeatedly stated — and did so again last night — that he is open to green cards after 10 years.”

Senator Rubio, the republican establishment and the donor class maybe open to green cards for everybody.  The American people aren’t.

King Obama Ignores Federal Judge's Amnesty Injunction

Is anyone really surprised when the Obama administration flouts the law?  Recently, a federal judge issued an injunction on an amnesty program that goes beyond the parameters of the law.  Of course, this means nothing to our lords and masters in Washington D.C.  The Washington Examiner reported the following:

The Justice Department lawyers said Homeland Security, which is the defendant in the case, told them Wednesday that an immigration agency had approved about 2,000 applications for three-year work permits, which was part of Mr. Obama’s new amnesty, even after Judge Hanen issued his Feb. 16 injunction halting the entire program.

Top Obama officials, including Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, had repeatedly assured Congress they had fully halted the program and were complying with the order.

 “The government sincerely regrets these circumstances and is taking immediate steps to remedy these erroneous three-year terms,” the administration lawyers said.

 Sen. Charles E. Grassley, chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, said it was “remarkable” that the administration kept approving some applications.

“The last time I checked, injunctions are not mere suggestions. They are not optional,” the Iowa Republican said. “This disregard for the court’s action is unacceptable and disturbing, especially after Secretary Johnson’s assurances that his agency would honor the injunction.

What are you going to do about it, Senator Grassley?  You’re going to do nothing.  We know it.  The Obama administration knows it.  Everyone knows it.  That’s why these miscreants have no respect for the Constitution, Congress, the courts, and the American people.

Hell, even British kings and queens have to answer to parliament.

The United States of Barack Obama

Barack Obama is a constitutional scholar.  How many times have we been told that?  Yet, it seems every day his administration violates the tenets, or should I say, ‘the spirit’ of the law of our land.  One must wonder what constitution he and his minions are referring.  I thought the U.S. Constitution had co-equal branches that checked and balanced each other.  I guess it was all a lie.

Dear Leader doesn’t need Article One Section Eight which states Congress sets the rules for immigration.  Barack Obama now determines that.  Millions of illegal aliens will receive work permits, Social Security cards, and the concomitant benefits that entails, and all with a stroke of a pen.

Even the judiciary is finding out how irrelevant they’ve become.  A U.S. District Court judge in Texas ordered a preliminary injunction on key parts of Obama’s illegal alien amnesty.  The Anointed One ignored it.

 

Even house rules under Article One Section Five are now dictated by the Obama administration.  The Senate is supposed to decide when it’s in session.  Not according to the Anointed One.  He determined they were in recess and appointed radicals to the NLRB without that body’s advice and consent.  The Supreme Court ruled against the administration.  Oh well, too late. 

Now, the American dictator will once again ignore Article II Section Two.  Obama has decided he doesn’t need the advice and consent of the Senate when cutting a deal with Iran.  He, instead, will follow the advice of the mullah’s by agreeing to a nonbinding deal through the United Nations.

 

“Iran and the administration both know that the deal they are forging is not acceptable to the U.S. Congress and probably to the next administration,” said Saeed Ghasseminejad, an Iranian dissident and associate fellow at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies (FDD). “As a result, both Iran and the administration are trying to come up with creative ways to bypass the Congress and check mates the future presidents.”

“The latest creative solution Iran came up with is to seal the deal by a U.N. Security Council resolution,” he said. “This is another sign that the deal we are talking about is a bad deal for the West and a good deal for the Islamic regime in Iran.”

Is this the United States of America, or the United States of Barack Obama?

Obama to Create Illegal Alien 'Country Within a Country'

We’ve all suspected that Barack Obama and the Democratic Party want to flood this country with third-worlders who have the same authoritarian and ideological bent as they.  What’s frightening is how deceitful and methodical they’ve been.  Their goal is to create a country within a country and push American citizens into the shadows.

White House officials were on all three calls.  What Ms. Payne learned needs to be immediately shared with Congress and the public.

Rep. Robert Pittenger Funds Obama's Illegal Alien Amnesty

Just as I suspected, Rep. Robert Pittenger (R-NC) joined 74 other Judas’ in passing the Democratic Party’s DHS bill.  This bill funds Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty, and by extension allows illegals to raid the U.S. Treasury with the Earned Income Tax Credit. 

Go govern, Robert Pittenger.  You’re doing a bang up job on representing the Washington D.C. establishment.

Nancy Pelosi's Dry Hanky for American Citizens

Where are Democrats priorities?  It’s definitely not our security, or the sanctity of U.S. citizenship.  Their concerns have to do with millions of illegal aliens who have the same ideology as they.  Both have no regard for the U.S. Constitution, rule of law, or the general welfare of the American people.

The Department of Homeland Security will face a partial shutdown because Republicans refuse to fund President Obama’s unconstitutional amnesty program.  You’d think this would be lauded from every corner of the United States.  You’d be wrong.  The media has, once again, portrayed Republicans as the ones compromising our national security.  Shocker, I know.

Now, Nancy Pelosi is crying over potential lost wages for federal government workers.

“I don’t know about you, but I think almost everybody I know cannot live without having a paycheck on time–members of Congress, even. And yet they’re (Republicans) asking the Department of Homeland Security people to do that.”

Funny, how she’s so concerned for federal government workers who will end up getting a paid vacation at taxpayers’ expense.   Who in the hell does she think she’s kidding? 

I don’t see Nancy Pelosi crying over lost wages because the job market is flooded with illegal aliens; nor will she shed a tear when the average American has to compete with illegal aliens in the work place, schools and social services.  Her hanky is pretty dry when it comes to the general welfare of an American citizen.

I guess members of Congress can have that attitude when the majority of them are millionaires.  By the way, Nancy Pelosi is the 14^th richest amongst her fellow lawmakers.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez Knows Nothing About "Free Money" for Illegal Aliens

Rep. Luis Gutierrez, ambassador for illegal aliens and the third-world, was asked about “free taxpayer money” for border jumpers who can now claim tax refunds.  He, of course, didn’t know anything about it.  The Daily Caller reported:

Illinois Congressman Luis Gutierrez told The Daily Caller Friday that he didn’t know that illegal immigrants are eligible for tax refunds — even if they haven’t paid taxes.

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen told members of Congress Wednesday that illegal immigrants who did not pay taxes will be able to claim back-refunds once they are issued social security numbers.

“I know nothing of the sort,” Gutierrez snapped at a Daily Caller reporter Friday when asked about Koskinen’s testimony.

“Of course it would be like you to raise that sort of question,” the Democrat continued. “Why don’t you ask the commissioner of the IRS?”

The commissioner, of course, had already been asked about it.

Everyone knows Democrats are not good stewards when it comes to the treasury.  They are even more negligent when it comes to looking after the interest of Americans.  They can even get a little testy about it.

IRS Offers Tax Payer Subsidies for Amnestied Illegal Aliens

Barack Obama’s big illegal alien scam is about to raid the U.S. treasury.  Millions of illegal aliens will be eligible to file for the Earned Income Tax Credit.  That means illegal aliens will be able to claim all of their kids living in the United States and in Mexico, or some other Latin American hellhole.

These people don’t make enough money to pay federal income taxes.  They will, in fact, get huge refunds because of Obama’s amnesty and the EITC.  Americans will end up subsidizing illegal alien families.  This is a huge loss for the American middle class.  The Washington Times reports:

IRS Commissioner John Koskinen confirmed Tuesday that illegal immigrants granted amnesty from deportation under President Obama’s new policies would be able to get extra refunds from the IRS for money they earned while working illegally, as long as they filed returns during those years.

Illegal immigrants who are granted the amnesty will be given official Social Security numbers, which means they can go back and amend up to three years of previous tax forms to claim the Earned Income Tax Credit, potentially claiming billions of dollars in additional payments they were ineligible for before the amnesty.

Illegal aliens were caught back in 2010 taking advantage of the EITC by using the ITIN card.  Now the IRS has opened the treasury to every Jose, Luis and Maria who has a litter of kids squawking for an American tax dollar.

Obama Admin Funds Executive Orders Through Fees and Penalties

How can the U.S. Congress make itself irrelevant?  Let’s count the ways.   The Constitution specifically dictates legislative powers are exclusively granted to this branch of government.  Yet, Congress creates agencies and confers upon them regulatory powers that have the force of law, therein bypassing the legislative process.  This was deliberately done with passage of the Administrative Procedures Act of 1946.

Under Article One, Section Seven all bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives.  This was done to ensure our representatives, and by extension the citizens of this country, had control over policies by using the power of the purse.  Yet, Congress conferred upon these federal agencies the ability to create, implement and collect fees and penalties, in effect, funding itself without having to go to Congress with hat in hand.

The Obama administration has mastered exploiting federal agencies in pursuit of its radical agenda.  The president’s immigration policies do not have Congresses approval, which by the way, is dictated under Article One, Section Eight.  These totalitarians openly brag that they don’t need funding from Congress.  They will get all the money they need from collecting fees from illegal aliens.  The Washington Examiner reported the following:

The Obama administration is spending nearly $50 million to hire and house 1,000 new federal workers to process immigration cases after President Obama announced that he would unilaterally protect up to 5 million illegal immigrants from deportation.

The Citizenship and Immigration Services agency will devote $40 million to annual salaries and almost $8 million a year to the lease of a new building just outside Washington, in which employees will review the claims of illegal immigrants who apply for newly protected status, according to the New York Times.

In recent weeks, critics have warned that Obama’s executive action would further increase the federal bureaucracy, leaving taxpayers on the hook for the expansion of immigration services

“They are in the process of hiring 1,000 full-time staff to quickly approve applications for the president’s illegal amnesty, which will provide work permits, photo IDs, Social Security and Medicare to illegal immigrants — all benefits rejected by Congress,” Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., said earlier this month. “This action will mean that American workers, their sons, their daughters, their parents, will now have to compete directly for jobs, wages, and benefits with millions of illegal immigrants.”

The Obama administration counters that the fees recouped through the president’s executive action eventually will cover the cost of the new federal workers

Congress needs to take power away from these federal agencies.  They can start by passing a law mandating all fees and penalties are to go into the general fund.  This will help ensure these government entities do not abuse their powers by imposing punitive fees upon a hapless citizenry as a means for funding, and will give power of the purse back to Congress where it belongs.

Obama Makes Case for His Own Impeachment

U.S. Embarks on Age of Rulers

The United States is about to embark on an age of rulers.  That is the stark assessment by Senator Tom Coburn (R-OK).  Indeed, today’s democrats are crying for an imperial president to disregard the rule of law and our Constitution.  The Obama administration has heard their cries and have harassed political opponents and is now about to grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens who have the same third world mentality as their advocates.

Progressives from Theodore Roosevelt to Barack Obama have had an utter contempt for our founding principles and our federalist system that binds them.  They want a robust executive and they sure as hell don’t want a legislative or judicial branch to impede their progress.

Woodrow Wilson wrote extensively about an administrative state.  Even he conceded that his progressive ideals were contrary to our founding:

But where has this science grown up? Surely not on this side of the sea….American writers have hitherto taken no very important part in the advancement of this science. It has found its doctors in Europe. It is not of our making; it is a foreign science, speaking very little of the language of English or American principles….It has been developed by French and German professors

Indeed, progressives were so enamored with this new form of governance they passed the 1946 Administrative Procedures Act.  This law allowed bureaucracies the ability to create and adjudicate regulations without consent from Congress.  They practically made themselves irrelevant.

The logical progression in this world of progressives is an imperial president.  The United States is about to embark on an age of rulers.  I’m sure that will make all these Latin American illegal aliens feel right at home.

Rep. Luis Gutierrez Pulled an Illegal Alien Gruber

Congressman Luis Gutierrez appeared on the O’Reilly Factor last night.  He, of course, is an amnesty advocate and has become a representative for illegal aliens over the interest of American citizens.  He reassured everyone that Obama’s deferred action didn’t confer taxpayer benefits to this horde of invaders.  But according to FAIR, that is another Gruber.  Here is an excerpt from Breitbart.com:

Illegal aliens who get President Barack Obama’s likely forthcoming executive amnesty will have immediate access to welfare and other public benefits, according to a new report from the Federation of American Immigration Reform (FAIR) exclusively provided to Breitbart News ahead of its public release shows.

“Deferred action and parole-in-place don’t fit neatly into statutory definitions that prohibit access to benefits, mostly because deferred action and parole-in-place have no statutory basis themselves,” FAIR communications director Bob Dane added. “Congress has never imagined a rouge president pulling rabbits out of a hat to justify a broad, transformational makeover of the country by way of amnesty. There will always be thousands of loopholes in the law and backdoor methods to achieve a desired agenda, but ultimately the intent of Congress is preeminent. It may be that the courts will have to review that.”
