National Popular Vote Compact Funded by George Soros and Other Anti-Americans

If you want to know the true nature of an organization or movement, find out who’s financing it. Anything that reeks of socialism, open borders and outright hatred of the American creed, you can expect George Soros and others of his ilk are behind it. The National Popular Vote Compact is just such a vehicle. Here is an excerpt from the Tennessee Star:

The Jennifer and Jonathan Allan Soros Foundation, for example, gave $1 million to the nonprofit in 2011.

Jonathan Soros, 49, heads an investment firm and is the son of George Soros, a hedge fund manager known for financing left-leaning causes around the world. Although the Soros Foundation does not publicly list contact information, The Daily Signal sought comment through the George Soros-backed Open Society Foundations.

The Stephen M. Silberstein Foundation made donations totaling $1 million to National Popular Vote Inc. from 2008 to 2012, according to the most recent data. The Silberstein Foundation gave $350,000 in 2008, $250,000 in 2009, $250,000 in 2010, and $150,000 in 2012. The Daily Signal unsuccessfully sought comment from the Silberstein Foundation.

Another major donor to the compact was the Sandler Foundation, which contributed $100,000 in 2010. The organization’s 2015 filing with the Internal Revenue Service shows it gave millions to liberal groups, including the Center for American Progress, the American Civil Liberties Union, EarthJustice California, and the Center for Budget and Policy Priorities. The Sandler Foundation did not respond to inquiries from The Daily Signal for this story.

The Tides Foundation, a major funder of left-leaning causes, contributed $25,000 to the popular vote group in 2009. The organization has donated to the ACLU Foundation, the Center for American Progress, Media Matters for America, Sierra Club, and Planned Parenthood, among other liberal groups.

The George Soros-backed Open Society Foundations has given millions to the Tides Foundation, according to the Capitol Research Center. The Tides Foundation did not respond to The Daily Signal for this story.

This National Popular Vote Compact is designed to circumvent the intent of the Electoral College by mandating its signatories handover their electors even if that state’s outcome is different from the national popular vote. It’s a naked and perverse powergrab; one that should outrage any self-respecting American.

Conservative Faction Align with Progressives Against Convention of States

There seems to be a schism within conservative ranks over whether or not States should invoke Article V of the U.S. Constitution. We all recognize there is a problem with the federal government. We also recognize something has to be done about it. Some are willing to address these issues by shoring up the Constitution through the amendment process; others fear a runaway convention.


I personally don’t understand these fears. A runaway convention is not practical under the provisions therein. Each State’s General Assembly must provide their delegates with detailed instructions to which they cannot deviate. If these provisions pass the convention, each state must vote on each individual amendment. This is a very difficult process. Here is Article V:


The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.


There is a disinformation campaign on both the right and left as to the motives of the Convention of States Project. I am not a spokesperson, but I recognize the difficulty in this process and the necessity for reigning in a rogue judiciary, a negligent Congress, and a runaway administrative state. Hell, we are still dealing with the aftermath of the Obama regime. This country cannot afford another president with a callous disregard for the Constitution and the rule of law. What more of an incentive do we need?





There are strong forces that want to keep the status quo. Take a look at this cartoon. What does this imply? It implies that advocates for a convention of States are in league with George Soros. This cartoon is an absurdity. George Soros is trying to stop this movement. He is funding a redistricting campaign headed by Eric Holder. One of their goals is to wrest control from conservatives in states legislatures by using the courts. Does this sound like he’s in league with Mark Meckler and Senator Tom Coburn? Of course not.

Progressives "Reconstruct" Our Republican Form of Government

As a student of history, l can say with certainty that there has always been a faction in this country that strives to “Reconstruct” the citizenry into doctrinaires who’ll unquestionably accept their ideology. These fanatics believe they are endowed with superior intellect and we inferior beings must bend to their will. These people will do anything to achieve those ends.


The latest iteration of radicals, as we all know, are Progressives who’ll sink to any level to obtain power. Their latest tactic is to marginalize Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution which guarantees every state a republican form of government by attacking state legislatures and their rights under Article I, Section 4.


George Soros, the devil incarnate, is funding the National Democratic Redistricting Foundation which is chaired by gun runner, Eric Holder. The sole purpose for this organization is to employ rogue justices who’ll force state legislatures to forgo their constitutional prerogatives by accepting predetermined districts drawn by Progressives. North Carolina can attest to this unrelenting wave of lawsuits that challenge every state, federal and judicial district. This is happening in red states throughout the country including Texas. Forget Russia, We Need a Special Council to Investigate George Soros

Liberals are constantly pushing the narrative that Russians are behind all of this vitriol and dissent. Does anyone truly believe that? Yes, they staged a couple of rallies and did a whole lot of trolling, but can anyone say these actions truly interfered with our elections? Did the Russians change anyone’s mind? Did they use the courts to force redistricting? Are they trying to takeover our the electoral process with a secretary of states project? The answer is no.


However, I am aware of a Nazi collaborator who has taken over a political party and using it to advance his agenda. This man is for globalism, open borders, racial division, a complete disregard for the U.S. Constitution and the rule of law. That man’s name is George Soros.


Wherever you find turmoil in this country whether it be riots in the streets, our courts, or in the halls of Congress, you can bet George Soros is financing it. For instance, take a look at what is happening to red states and their congressional districts. You’ll notice there are a whole lot of lawsuits over so-called gerrymandering and almost everyone of these plaintiffs are funded by a George Soros organization. Not only are plaintiffs such as The League of Women Voters tainted with Soros money, so is the master plan by Nathaniel Persily which the federal courts foisted upon North Carolina’s General Assembly. The Brennan Center has been a regular recipient of millions of dollars in the form of grants from George Soros’ Tides Foundation and Open Society Institute.

Between 1999 and 2003, Soros’ Open Society Foundation gave the Brennan Center nearly $3.3 million dollars. This is the same time frame NC’s new Special Master, Nathan Persily, was filing amicus briefs on their behalf.


We don’t need a special council on Russian interference in our elections. What we need is a special council looking into the subversive activities of George Soros and his Democratic Party apparatchiks.

Democratic Crony Soros Profits Off of Bankrupted Coal Industry

Obama has made plenty of promises to the American people none of which came to fruition except for one:  Coal mines would go out of business.  Here is an excerpt from the Daily Caller.

A 2015 study found the coal industry lost 50,000 jobs from 2008 to 2012 during Obama’s first term. During Obama’s second term, the industry employment in coal mining has fallen by another 33,300 jobs, 10,900 of which occurred in the last year alone, according to federal data. Currently, coal mining employs 69,460 Americans, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Much of the blame for the job losses is targeted at federal regulations aimed at preventing global warming, which caused coal power plants to go bankrupt, resulting in a sharp decline in the price of coal.

   

George Soros, a Democratic Party crony, knows a good deal when he sees it.  Since Obama’s EPA regulations bankrupted the coal industry, companies stocks are worth pennies on the dollar.  Now the former Nazi collaborator owns billions of tons of proven reserves.  This is government sponsored theft and had we an honest media it would be reported as such.

         

This global warming fraud has produced many casualties: a proven energy source, a shrinking middle-class, and respect for the media, the federal government and the sciences.  But I do hope that the biggest casualty of all will be the Democratic Party and all the grafters that infest it.

Darth Soros Strikes Back!

The Death Star didn’t waste any time striking back at DCLeaks.  This website released 2,500 internal documents revealing the machinations of Darth Soros’s Open Society Foundation.  Now, DCLeaks’ twitter account is shut down and any trace of the evil empire’s designs on American sovereignty has vanished from their website.  Here is an excerpt from the Daily Caller:

By mid-Saturday afternoon, the DCLeaks page with the Soros documents was no longer online. The rest of the DCLeaks site was running smoothly — only the Soros pages appeared to be offline.

Progressives Scheme to Nationalize the United States

The nationalization of the United States is well on its way.  Progressives are attacking our Constitution and federalist system at every turn.  We see it in our major cities.  Obama’s Justice Department has taken over local police departments based on specious claims of racism. HUD is forcing affluent communities to change zoning laws to accommodate Section 8 housing at taxpayers’ expense, of course.  But the holy grail of nationalization is voting.  Progressives want to take away States’ rights of self-government by attacking the integrity of the vote.

 

The Obama administration, along with various progressive organizations, has sued states that have abolished same day voting and require voter ID, again, on specious claims of racism.  The dirty little secret is they want non-citizens to vote and one of the biggest advocates of open borders is George Soros.  His Open Society Foundation is hell bent on destroying the premise of citizenship and a nation-state.  Leaked documents reveal a plan to flood the United States with 10 million “voters” by 2018.  Here is an excerpt from the Free Beacon: 

  

The guide covers strategies and tactics the group will employ in the United States from 2015 to 2018. The top goals listed by the guide are to “advance electoral reform” and “combat suppression.”

“The following four goals form the scaffolding of U.S. Programs’ work,” the guide states. “1. An American democracy strengthened through increased meaningful participation, inclusive practice, and accountability.” The third strategic goal expands upon this, calling for “Full political, economic, and civic participation of immigrants and communities of color by dismantling the barriers and strengthening the conduits to opportunity.”

Later, the guide discusses expanding the electorate by “at least 10 million voters” in the United States. This would be accomplished “by lowering barriers to voter registration through the various forms of modernization and increased ballot access while sustaining and expanding the franchise by establishing strong protections against vote suppression, denial and dilution.

The best way to destroy our republic is to demean citizenship and nationalize elections.  George Soros’s Open Society Foundation isn’t so open about their real intentions.

Democrats Mobilize to Strike Down Voter ID Laws

You would think Americans could agree on laws like Voter ID.  Reasonable people would conclude this is common sense legislation that ensures the integrity of the vote.  But once again, we are mistaken.  Progressives don’t care about integrity of the vote.  What they want is to steal elections.

Democrats have hired a super-lawyer to contest voting laws around the country.  Marc Elias represents a consortium of liberal organizations and has a multi-million dollar deal with the devil himself, George Soros.  Somebody has to finance this totalitarian power grab.

Progressives would have us believe that minorities are too stupid and lazy to obtain an ID, or register to vote in a timely fashion.  What they want is same day voting without proof of residency.  This is how Barack Obama and the Democratic Party stole the vote in the 2008 election in North Carolina.  Here is a video by the Civitas Institute explaining how that was done.

Gov. Perry Indictment Funded by Soros

Nazi collaborator, George Soros, can’t seem to stop his thuggish ways.  He once fingered Hungarian Jews for property confiscation, now; he’s behind another fascist front group whose out to tarnish the reputation of Gov. Rick Perry.

In case anyone missed it, Gov. Perry asked a public official to remove herself from an office that investigates political corruption.  Rosemary Lehmburg refused to resign her position after her drunken driving conviction.  She was also abusive to police officers and made a spectacle of herself.  Any person with an ounce of integrity would have stepped aside.  But of course, she’s a democrat, and integrity isn’t a resume enhancer.

Governor Perry used his constitutional powers to veto funding for that office.  Then steps in the Soros funded, Texas for Public Justice, and another corrupted Austin jury pool hands down an indictment that carries a maximum 99 year prison sentence.  What a load of crap.

And do the mainstream media report who’s funding this charade?  Of course not, except Fox News:

According to a Media Research Center analysis, from the moment Perry was indicted on two flimsy counts by a Travis County, Texas grand jury on August 15 through the morning of August 20, the Big Three broadcast networks – ABC, CBS, and NBC – have run 24 stories totaling 38 minutes and 34 seconds across their morning and evening broadcasts.

 In all that coverage, not one single story mentioned that the group responsible for filing the complaint against Perry in June, Texans for Public Justice (TPJ), is part of a “progressive” coalition that has received $500,000 in funding from prolific left-wing billionaire George Soros

Is George Soros Responsible for Ending Ethanol Subsidies and Brazilian Import Tariffs?

As of the beginning of this year, Congress allowed ethanol subsidies to expire. It’s amazing that a 30 year subsidy ended with a whimper, instead of a howl. You would’ve thought the recipients of this largess, along with their elected representatives, would be screaming bloody murder; but it didn’t happen. Why? I say we take a look at one of the biggest manipulators in the history of finance.

George Soros has huge influence in the Democratic Party and the White House. Peter Schweizer documented the shenanigans of this evil genius in his book Throw Them All Out, as outlined in BigGovernment.com:

Mr. Soros met with Mr. Obama’s top economist on February 25, 2009 and twice more with senior officials in the Old Executive Office Building on March 24th and 25th as the stimulus plan was being crafted. Later, Mr. Soros also participated in discussions on financial reform.

Then, in the first quarter of 2009, Mr. Soros went on a stock buying spree in companies that ultimately benefited from the federal stimulus.

Soros doubled his holdings in medical manufacturer Hologic, a company that benefited from stimulus spending on medical systems

Soros tripled his holdings in fiber channel and software maker Emulus, a company that wound up scoring a large amount of federal funds going to infrastructure spending

Soros bought 210,000 shares in Cisco Systems, which came up big in the stimulus lottery

Soros also bought Extreme Networks, which, months later, said it was expanding broadband to rural America “as part of President Obama’s broadband strategy”

Soros bought 1.5 million shares in American Electric Power, a company Mr. Obama gave $1 billion to in June 2009
Soros bought shares in utility company Ameren, which bagged a $540 million Department of Energy loan

Soros bought 250,000 shares of Public Service Enterprise Group, 500,000 shares of NRG Energy, and almost a million shares of Entergy—all companies that came up winners in the Department of Energy taxpayer giveaway that produced the Solyndra debacle.

Soros bought into BioFuel Energy, a company that benefitted when the EPA announced a regulation on ethanol

Soros bought Powerspan in April 2009. Just weeks later, the clean-energy company landed $100 million from the Department of Energy

In the second quarter of 2009, Soros bought education technology giant Blackboard, which became a big recipient of education stimulus money

Soros also bought Burlington Northern Santa Fe and CSX, both beneficiaries of Mr. Obama’s plans for revitalizing the railroads

Soros bought Cognizant Technology Solutions, which scored stimulus funds in education and health care technology

Soros also bought 300,000 shares of Constellation Energy Group and 4.6 million shares of Covanta, both of which landed taxpayers’ money through the stimulus, the former of which bagged $200 million

So on the rare occasion that a government subsidy is allowed to expire, one must cast a suspect eye. And guess what? There is a connection. On the same day,Brazilian ethanol import tariffs also expired. And guess who is heavily invested in that industry? You guessed it: George Soros. Business Week reported the following in 2007:

BETTING BILLIONS

A host of investors seem to think Brazil's ethanol bet is worth it. On June 3, billionaire George Soros visited a Brazilian ethanol mill owned by Buenos Aires food and energy group Adecoagro. Soros is the leading shareholder in the company, which plans to invest $1 billion in four more Brazilian fuel projects by 2015. "We expect the returns to be highly attractive," says Adecoagro President Alan Boyce. In March, private equity firms Carlyle Group and Riverstone Holdings raised $240 million to fund Brazilian partners operating four ethanol mills. "We think ethanol will be a permanent part of the [global] fuel mix," says Riverstone Managing Director Michael B. Hoffman.

And Congress made damn sure of that. They passed a law in 2007 mandating the following ethanol consumption standards, as reported by the Heritage Foundation:

In the name of reducing greenhouse gas emissions and reducing America’s dependence on foreign oil, the 2007 Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA) mandates that we need to consume 36 billion gallons of ethanol by 2022. EISA also contains a mandate within the mandate for advanced biofuels, with the applicable volume of cellulosic ethanol set at 250 million gallons this year, 500 million gallons in 2012, and ultimately hitting 16 billion gallons in 2022.

How propitious is that? If I didn’t know better, I would say George Soros had a hand in this. But that would be crazy. Wouldn’t it?

The Genius of Wall Street Occupiers

EPA Puts Stranglehold on Shell Oil Production

It amazes me that everyone is asking themselves as to why gas prices are so high, when we have an administration that is overtly hostile to energy companies. The EPA has just prohibited Shell Oil Company from exploration in Alaska after they spent years, and billions of dollars in preparation:


Shell has spent five years and nearly $4 billion dollars on plans to explore for oil in the Beaufort and Chukchi Seas. The leases alone cost $2.2 billion. Shell Vice President Pete Slaiby says obtaining similar air permits for a drilling operation in the Gulf of Mexico would take about 45 days. He’s especially frustrated over the appeal board’s suggestion that the Arctic drill would somehow be hazardous for the people who live in the area. “We think the issues were really not major,” Slaiby said, “and clearly not impactful for the communities we work in.”

The closest village to where Shell proposed to drill is Kaktovik, Alaska. It is one of the most remote places in the United States. According to the latest census, the population is 245 and nearly all of the residents are Alaska natives. The village, which is 1 square mile, sits right along the shores of the Beaufort Sea, 70 miles away from the proposed off-shore drill site.

And how much oil is estimated?

At stake is an estimated 27 billion barrels of oil. That’s how much the U. S. Geological Survey believes is in the U.S. portion of the Arctic Ocean. For perspective, that represents two and a half times more oil than has flowed down the Trans Alaska pipeline throughout its 30-year history. That pipeline is getting dangerously low on oil. At 660,000 barrels a day, it’s carrying only one-third its capacity

But hey, it’s okay that the Obama administration gave $2 billion to Brazil for deep offshore drilling, while putting a moratorium on domestic drilling in the Gulf. George Soros must have a big smile on his face. I’m sure his ass cheeks hurt from sitting on that big mountain of cash; courtesy of the American taxpayer.

Rep. Dennis Kucinich is a ventriloquist? I was having a hard time discerning which one was the dummy. Oh, it’s the one with the voting record! That’s right.

George Soros Deceiving Americans Again

George Soros believes we tea partiers are easily deceived by Fox News and talk radio. Soros states that reducing taxes and getting rid of burdensome federal regulations doesn’t benefit average Americans. No, life would be unbearable without a government bureaucrat breathing down our necks and raiding our pocketbooks.

This is one scary individual.  He wants a managed and orderly decline of the U.S. dollar so as to implement a world currency.  Mr. Soros says that the system is broke and having the dollar as the worlds reserve currency is not in our best interest.  I wonder whose interest he is talking about.  It certainly isn't ours.

Once we give up the right to regulate and produce our own money; that is the day we lose our sovereignty.
