James Hansen's 30-year-old Quackery
A couple of days ago, I scanned through my Google news feed and stumbled upon this headline: NASA’s chilling 30-year-old warning. I thought, alright, let’s check it out. Half way through the article, I began to wonder who published this crap. Come to find out, it was Fox News! Hell, I thought it was Mother Jones. Here is an excerpt:
We were warned. On June 23, 1988, a sultry day in Washington, James Hansen told the US Congress and the world that global warming wasn’t approaching — it had already arrived.
The testimony of the top NASA scientist, said Rice University historian Douglas Brinkley, was “the opening salvo of the age of climate change.”
Thirty years later, it’s clear that Hansen and other doomsayers were right. But the change has been so sweeping that it is easy to lose sight of effects large and small — some obvious, others less conspicuous.
Earth is noticeably hotter, the weather stormier and more extreme. Polar regions have lost billions of tons of ice; sea levels have been raised by trillions of gallons of water. Far more wildfires rage
What a load of crap! James Hansen is a quack. He hasn’t been right about anything. The video below provides empirical data that refutes this huckster’s assertions.
I’m deeply disappointed in Fox News. They’re supposed to be the one outlet that’s immune to leftist propaganda. I don’t know how this one got passed them.

CNN Beats Fox "Trump" News Channel
I remember when Fox News first came on my
radar. It was like stumbling upon an
oasis in a desert filled with stinking, liberal trash. Conservatives yearned for a media outlet that
didn’t insult their intelligence or lecture them on the finer points of a
socialist utopian society. Many of us
shunned the networks and its New York-beltway clique.
I don’t know what’s happened over at Fox, but lately,
it’s getting to the point where I don’t watch the prime time slots anymore,
simply because they have turned into the Trump Channel with its constant, never
ending coverage. I’m sick of it! Apparently, I’m not alone.
CNN ranked #1 in cable
news in prime time in April. CNN beat Fox News for the fifth time in the last
eight months in M-Su prime time (four of the past eight in M-F prime) among
adults 25-54. The last time CNN had this many prime time wins in an eight-month
period versus Fox News was over 14 years ago (Nov. 2001). CNN also handily
topped MSNBC this month in all dayparts, with CNN besting MSNBC for the 22nd straight month in Total Day (among both total viewers and
among adults 25-54) and in prime time (among 25-54). In total viewers,
CNN has now beaten MSNBC for the fifth straight month (or seven out of eight
months) in prime time. CNN continued to top MSNBC by wide margins during
the day (9am-4pm) – posting a +36% advantage in total viewers (630k vs. MSNBC’s
464k) and +58% more among adults 25-54 (161k vs. 102k)
I don’t know if I can
make the transition to the Clinton News Network. Maybe they’ve changed their
ways over the years. Something tells me
they haven’t.

Republican Presidential Debates and the Weaponization of Federal Bureaucracies
These republican presidential debates have revealed
very little about where candidates stand on the issues. Most questions are “he said this about you,
do you have a response?” I’m sick of
that crap! I can recall only a couple of
times when substantive issues were brought forth that actually piqued my
interest and changed my mind about a candidate.
One was centered on the 14th Amendment and birthright
citizenship, the other was about Kim Davis and religious freedom. Carly Fiornia lost my support because of
those two issues.
I can recall only a couple of times when a debate broke out during these inquisitions. Fox Business had
the courtesy to sit back and allow Rand Paul, Donald Trump and Jeb Bush hash
out tariff policies. What a welcomed
change.
There might have been other issues that I missed,
simply because I get bored and diverted my attention to something of substance
such as an article or a book.
An issue that really needs to be addressed is the weaponization
of the federal bureaucracy. How are
these candidates going to address a branch of government that is antagonistic
to their agenda? What are they going to
do about bureaucrats that target conservatives?
This is a serious problem. Even
USA Today wrote about the lawlessness in Washington D.C.
The first sad lesson is that the notion of an
impartial, professional civil service is a fiction. The big government
designs of Democrats and the federal bureaucracy are aligned, and the
bureaucracy often deploys its powers in ways calculated to
frustrateRepublican presidents and to protect Democratic
ones.
This
is an open secret in Washington, leading Bloomberg View writer Megan McArdle to
comment that even if elected, a President Trump wouldn’t change
much because the bureaucracy wouldn’t go along:
“Anything
that gets done by Washington must be done by the civil service. These folks are
lifers. You can’t fire them. Because of the abovementioned legislative
compromises required, you also can’t push a bill through that will let you fire
them. And they — not the president, and not the cabinet secretaries — are the
folks who do most of what government does. The president can wave his hands
like Jean-Luc Picard and say, ‘Make it so.’ But if they don’t wanna, they ain’t
gonna.
That is the honest truth. Progressives constantly declare we live in a
democracy. How is this democracy when
bureaucrats do as they damn well please without fear of retribution? How is this democracy when your vote can be
canceled out by a bureaucrat with an agenda?

Hey George Will, This is No Longer Madison's Constitution
Are you ticked off at the ineffectiveness and
incompetence of the Republican leadership in Washington D.C.? Well, if you are, George Will has some
advice: Get over it! According to this
beltway courtesan, we should be angry at James Madison for establishing a
separation of powers in our Constitution.
I have news for Mr. Beltway: This is no longer James
Madison’s constitution.
If James Madison had the ability of time travel, he
wouldn’t recognize our form of government.
When he was alive, States had representation in the Senate. That was until the 17th
Amendment. Now it’s as populists as the
House of Representatives only with a longer term.
In James Madison’s constitution, only Congress was vested
with legislative powers and raising revenue.
Today, we have federal bureaucracies passing rules and regulations that
have the force of law. They also
originate and collect penalties and fees.
Some agencies have the power to adjudicate their own cases. I do believe James Madison wasn’t around in
1946 when the Administrative Procedures Act was passed.
In James Madison’s constitution, there are
enumerated powers that limited the scope of the federal government. Now we have the Supreme Court manufacturing
rights for special interest groups while striking States’ constitutions for
noncompliance. The 10th
Amendment mattered in James Madison’s constitution. Today, States are mere vassals bowing and
scraping to the all powerful central government thanks to the 14th and 16th
Amendments and establishment of the Federal Reserve.
This is not James Madison’s constitution anymore,
Mr. Will. This is President Woodrow
Wilson’s constitution. Here is what the
Progressive Era president had to say about the administrative state:
But where has this science grown up? Surely not
on this side of the sea….American writers have hitherto taken no very important
part in the advancement of this science. It has found its doctors in Europe. It
is not of our making; it is a foreign science, speaking very little of the
language of English or American principles….It has been developed by French and
German professors.
So Mr. Will, this is not James Madison’s
constitution. What we have is an
invasion of the Progressive constitution.

Fox News' Megyn Kelly Caught Baiting Republican Candidates
During Thursday’s debate, Fox News’ Megyn Kelly
excoriated Donald Trump on comments he allegedly made about women. Viewers, such as myself, knew of only Rosie O’Donnell,
and indeed, Donald Trump acknowledged his disparaging remarks, which by the
way, were a give and take.
Megyn Kelly stated there were many more victims of
Donald’s sexist verbal attacks. We are
now finding out her allegations may have been embellished, if not, an outright
fabrication. BPR followed through on one
accusation:
A former “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant and
Playboy Playmate who was the subject of the “on her knees” remark made by Republican presidential
candidate Donald Trump is coming to his defense.
During the GOP presidential debate
Thursday, Fox News host Megyn Kelly asked Trump to explain
a comment he made during a segment of his reality show that it would be “a
pretty picture to see her on her knees,” referring to Brande Roderick,
a contestant.
In a telephone interview on MSNBC’s “Live with Thomas
Roberts” on Friday, Roderick said she hadn’t even recalled the incident.
“Like him, I didn’t even remember him saying
that,” Roderick said. “I’ve always had a positive experience around Donald.
He’s always been encouraging. He’s never been disrespectful to me.”
She added that Trump’s remark wasn’t made out of
desrespect, but rather was an attempt at humor.
This isn’t the first time Megyn Kelly baited a
republican candidate. Jeb Bush can attest
to her penchant for presenting misleading questions.

Beltway Courtesans Flip Off "Caveman Caucus"
I'm amused by beltway courtesans rallying around their ideological maypole in defense of the status quo. So-called conservative pundits are no
different than progressives. They will
defend their territory against any and all claim jumpers.
Fox News’s Special Report all star panel is an
example of hubris mingled with contempt for those of us who are advocates for
limited government, as defined in our constitution; yet, rarely exercised or
heeded. No, this current government we
have is not of our founding. It is one
forged in Europe. President Woodrow
Wilson admitted this much, as summed up by Ronald J. Pestritto in his book, Woodrow
Wilson and the Roots of Modern Liberalism:
If bureaucracy, as it administers progress, is to
act on behalf of the general interest, what is the role for public opinion?
Wilson, after all, seems a consistent advocate of connecting politics much more
directly with popular opinion. Yet, his writings on the separation of politics
and administration show that public opinion is not to be brought more directly
into the realm of administrative decision making. “The problem,” Wilson
explained, “is to make public opinion efficient without suffering it to be meddlesome.”
Public opinion is a “clumsy nuisance” when it comes to the “oversight of the
daily details and in the choice of the daily means of government.” So while
public opinion ought to be introduced more directly into politics, politics
must confine itself to general superintendence – to the role of setting only
the broad goals of the nation. “Let administrative study find the best means
for giving public criticism this control and for shutting it out from all other
interference,” Wilson wrote.
Is this an American ideal? Even Woodrow Wilson confessed this form of governance is alien and un-American:
But where has this science grown up? Surely not on this side of the sea….American writers have hitherto taken no very important part in the advancement of this science. It has found its doctors in Europe. It is not of our making; it is a foreign science, speaking very little of the language of English or American principles….It has been developed by French and German professors.

So, while we plebeians advance our meddlesome opinions, the administrative state
chugs along without concern, for they know establishment republicans will do
nothing. And yes, there is a republican establishment. And beltway courtesans
like George Will, Charles Krauthammer and Nina Easton will run blocker for our
D.C. masters by belittling anyone that dares to protest being governed out of
life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness. Because, according to them, we are nothing
more than petulant children whose elected representatives is too busy
scratching themselves in the “caveman caucus.”

Lt. Col. Ralph Peters: Kill ISIS and Their Pet Goats
There is only one way to deal with ISIS and that is
to kill all of them. Fox News analyst, Lt.
Col. Ralph Peters, and others have rightly come to that conclusion.
The
way you deal with Islamic State, these bloodthirsty, blood drunken terrorists,
is to kill them, keep on killing them, until you kill the last one and then you
kill his pet goat.
That’s how
you deal with them.

Food Stamp Rat Living the Beach Bum Life
I watched this special last Friday. All I can say is this country has lost its soul. I remember a time when people were ashamed of taking a government handout. Now its no big deal. As a matter of fact you're considered clever for scamming the "system."
We have become a degenerative culture. And this beach bum is living a rat's life.

Libtards Want to Turn the Tribune into a Communal Paper
These people are completely clueless. If the Tribune and other print news were
turning out a decent product, they wouldn’t be in financial trouble. They need to be restructured. Better yet, they need credibility which is in
short supply in today’s media.
Libtards are always railing against
corporations. Yet, if they were to take
over the Tribune, they too would have to be a corporation. I’m amazed at how stupid these people are.

North Carolina Mandates Teaching of Founding Era in Public Schools
Last year Fox News reported that North Carolina public schools were going to discontinue the history curriculum that pertains to our founding era; instead they were going to focus on the period after reconstruction, best known as the Progressive Era. The result was a resounding national backlash.
Because of that backlash, North Carolina passed into law the Founding Principles Act, as reported by Carolina Journal:
A bipartisan General Assembly approved House Bill 588, The Founding Principles Act, during the closing days of the main 2011 legislative session. As lawmakers engaged in partisan battles over more controversial measures, the House approved H.B. 588 106-5, and the Senate endorsed it 43-0. Gov. Beverly Perdue signed it into law June 23.
“The survival of the republic requires that our nation’s children, the future guardians of its heritage and participants in its governance, have a clear understanding of the Founding Philosophy and the Founding Principles of government for a free people,” according to the act’s preamble. The new law goes on to note that students will find the philosophy and principles “in the Declaration of Independence, the United States Constitution, the Federalist Papers, and the writings of the Founders.”
The law specifically orders a semester-long course titled American History I - The Founding Principles. Students must pass the course to graduate from high school.
Ten specific principles earn special attention within the legislation: Creator-endowed inalienable rights of the people; the structure of government, separation of powers with checks and balances; frequent and free elections in a representative government; rule of law; equal justice under the law; private property rights; federalism; due process; individual rights as set forth in the Bill of Rights; and individual responsibility.
What I really wish is that the Anti-Federalist Papers would also be discussed, along with North Carolina’s Constitutional Convention debate. Students would be amazed at how right the Anti-Federalist was. But that is a pipe dream. Hell, if it weren’t for Fox News, students would think Woodrow Wilson was the first president of the United States.

Charlie Rangel Swaggers Down From His Plantation
Rep. Charlie Rangel came down from his plantation and ran into a buzz saw. Laura Ingraham hosted the O’Reilly Factor and the shameless one was taken aback by the ‘pretty girl’s’ hard questions.
Democrats are notorious for asinine comments, but Rangel’s assertion that the Republican Party has no right to ridicule plantations is jaw dropping. Need we remind him of Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War? Hello Charlie!
When asked real questions, politicians like Charlie Rangel have a hard time wriggling out of them. All I have to say is good job ‘pretty girl’.

Rep. Charlie Rangel is Awkwardly Embarrassed of Congress
Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY) made an appearance on Fox News. He proceeded to pontificate on the lack of revenues the federal government needs in order to service the debt. Now, mind you this is the same person who evaded paying taxes and abused his privileges as a United States congressman; violations which garnered a formal rebuke by the House of Representatives.
It must take a special kind of person to publicly disgrace himself and then show up on the most popular cable news network in order to condemn others who take advantage of the tax laws.
But the biggest kicker is when he proclaimed that he was awkwardly embarrassed that Congress abdicated their responsibilities by employing a super-committee to confer on spending cuts.
Well Congressman, I’m glad to know that you’re capable of being embarrassed.

George Soros Deceiving Americans Again
George Soros believes we tea partiers are easily deceived by Fox News and talk radio. Soros states that reducing taxes and getting rid of burdensome federal regulations doesn’t benefit average Americans. No, life would be unbearable without a government bureaucrat breathing down our necks and raiding our pocketbooks.
If you want to see a deceiver in action, watch the above video. Notice how he danced around his youthful exploits as a Nazi collaborator. And completely ignores his participation in overthrowing foreign governments just for the fun of it.
Here is a man who once stated he was God. Is it any wonder he thinks we little people are stupid and insignificant?
