We'll Observer Earth Day When EPA Observes the Law

You got to love this.  The National Federation of Independent Businesses declared they would observe Earth Day when the EPA observes the law.

Regulatory agencies are supposed to assess how new rules will affect small businesses.  In this case, however, the EPA bypassed that step, arguing that the new rule is merely a definitional change and does not, therefore, require a small business impact study.

“That’s a pretty self-serving interpretation,” said Bosch.  “The President, who may support the new rule, should nevertheless respect the process and require the EPA to perform the analysis.”

NFIB has previously warned Americans that the new water regulations will give theEPA control over virtually any body of water on any homeowner's property - no matter how small or often it gets wet. Under the rule, the EPA will regulate homeowners as if they were casino developers in the Gulf Coast, NFIB warns

I wonder when the EPA will declare a national holiday for their agency, and then force all of us to celebrate it.  It could happen.  This agency seems to answer to no one.  They’re a law unto themselves.

Global Warming Grafters Celebrate Earth Day 2015

Global warming grafters and their lemmings will celebrate two of their favorite subjects this week: totalitarianism and environmentalism.  April 22 is Earth Day and Vladimir Lenin’s birthday and it’s no coincidence that the former coincides with the latter.

Here is one of the principle grafters expounding on the biggest fraud ever perpetuated in the history of mankind:

This yahoo seems to think man controls the climate, as though the Earth has a thermostat button.  Here is how much reverence the Earth worshippers have for the environment.  Take a look at this:

You’ll never see this kind of “reverence” at a Tea Party gathering.  They clean up after themselves, unlike these hypocrites.

Newsmax aired a documentary on this climate change fraud entitled, Dark Winter.  You can buy the video and book at Amazon.com.

Earth Day: The Mask Has Been Torn Off

Here is a video that sums up the environmental movement. Patriots have the 4th of July. The progressive/communist has their pagan holiday called Earth Day.

It’s time to tear the mask off of this movement.

An Earth Day Message from Her Grace: Nancy Pelosi

An Earth Day Message from America’s Queen Bee: Nancy Pelosi

Washington, D.C. – Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today in recognition of Earth Day, which falls on Sunday, April 22:

“For more than four decades, Earth Day has brought Americans together to protect the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the environment we all share. This day is an opportunity to rededicate ourselves to the cause of a cleaner planet, to the promise of a clean energy economy, to the potential of new technologies, and to the movement to confront the challenge of climate change.

“Democrats in Congress and an army of allies nationwide have led the charge for action – taking concrete steps to expand the clean energy sector, invest in research and launch new industries, create good-paying jobs at home, and cut energy costs for families, workers, and businesses.

“Too often, the environment – from clean air and clean water to the drive for innovation – has come under direct attack by our Republican colleagues. Yet the future of our environment must not fall prey to partisan political games. We must work together to reduce our dangerous dependence on foreign oil, promote and develop renewable sources of energy, lower emissions, and build on Americans’ extraordinary success in conservation.

“Addressing this challenge is about building a more sustainable future for our children and grandchildren, securing prosperity and opportunity for all, and keeping America number one across the globe. And on this Earth Day, we must continue the fight to preserve our environment, strengthen our economy, and combat the crisis of global warming, for ourselves and for generations to come.”

How dare Nancy Pelosi take away my filthy water and dirty air. We have rights too you know.

An Earth Day Message From the President of the Vladimir Lenin Fan Club

Presidential Proclamation -- Earth Day

EARTH DAY, 2012

BY THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
A PROCLAMATION

On April 22, 1970, millions of Americans came together to celebrate the first Earth Day. Students, teachers, activists, elected officials, and countless others challenged our Nation to confront our most urgent environmental issues and rallied around a single message: the success of future generations depends upon how we act today. As we commemorate Earth Day this year, we reflect on the challenges that remain before us and recommit to the spirit of togetherness and shared responsibility that galvanized a movement 42 years ago.

America rose to meet the call to action in the months and years that followed the first Earth Day. We passed the Clean Air, Clean Water, Endangered Species, and Marine Mammal Protection Acts; founded the Environmental Protection Agency; and ignited a spirit of stewardship that has driven progress for over four decades. Today, our air and water are cleaner, pollution has been greatly reduced, and Americans everywhere are living in a healthier environment.

While we have made remarkable progress in protecting our health and our natural heritage, we know our work is not yet finished. Last July, my Administration proposed the toughest fuel economy standards in our Nation's history -- standards that will save families money at the pump, cut greenhouse gas emissions, and significantly reduce our dependence on oil. In December, we finalized the first-ever national standards to limit mercury and other toxic emissions from power plants, helping safeguard the health of millions. We have taken action to protect and restore our Nation's precious ecosystems, from the Gulf Coast to the Great Lakes. And we continue to make landmark investments in batteries, biofuels, and renewable energy that are unlocking American innovation and ensuring our Nation stays on the cutting edge. Our country is on the path to economic recovery and renewal, and moving forward, my Administration will continue to fight for a healthy environment every step of the way.

As we work to leave our children a safe, sustainable future, we must also equip them with the tools they need to take on tomorrow's environmental challenges. Supporting environmental literacy and a strong foundation in science, technology, engineering, and math for every student will help ensure our youth have the skills and knowledge to advance our clean energy economy. Last year, we launched the Department of Education Green Ribbon Schools recognition award to encourage more schools to pursue sustainability, foster health and wellness, and integrate environmental literacy into the curriculum. In the days ahead, we look forward to awarding the first Green Ribbons and recognizing the accomplishments of green schools across our country.

Forty-two years ago, a generation rallied together to protect the earth we would inherit. As we reflect on that historic day of activism and stewardship, let us embrace our commitment to the generations yet to come by leaving them a safe, clean world on which to make their mark.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, by virtue of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States, do hereby proclaim April 22, 2012, as Earth Day. I encourage all Americans to participate in programs and activities that will protect our environment and contribute to a healthy, sustainable future.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twentieth day of April, in the year of our Lord two thousand twelve, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-sixth.

Obama's Urban Feudalism Initiative

Earth Day is tomorrow and the communist can’t wait to laud all the programs and initiatives they purport are saving Mother Earth. But, the watermelon people have a more insidious agenda that lies beneath their exuberance, and that is to take away your freedom of movement.

The big bugaboo with these control freaks is your car. Your vehicle is a symbol of choice and independence; the escape pod from their smart growth mother ship. And like the days of yore, these feudal lords will devise all sorts of schemes to keep the serfs on the manor grounds.

Have you noticed that you can’t find an affordable used car as of late? Well, we can thank the Cash for Clunkers program for that. You’ll find all sorts of articles by the cheerleaders in the press pontificating on the low inventory, except of course the most obvious and destructive program that led to this mess. Not only did the Cash for Clunkers eliminate an affordable alternative for transportation, it also destroyed the used parts market.

And to make matters worse, Obama is demanding higher gas mileage on new vehicles. And guess what the consequences are for that?

The Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) regulations that President Obama
announced last summer will make it impossible for 7 million lower income consumers to buy a new car according to a National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) study released today.

“While you can mandate what automakers must build, you can’t dictate what customers will buy, nor can you dictate if a bank will make a loan,” New Mexico Ford dealer Don Chalmers
said today.

Obama's proposed CAFE standards, which will begin taking effect in 2017, raise minimum average vehicle fleet fuel efficiency to 54.5 mpg by 2025. The Environmental Protection Agency and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration estimate that this regulation will raise the average price of passenger cars and light trucks by $3,000.

“The unintended consequences of the proposed fuel economy increases are clear,” NADA Used Car Guide analyst David Wagner said. “If the price of a vehicle goes up by the government estimate of almost $3,000, millions of people will no longer be able to finance a new vehicle.”

But that’s okay. The urban serfs have buses and light-rail to get around on. Just don’t make any plans to leave the manor grounds.

An Environmentalist Devotion to Mother Earth

This video is precious. If you didn’t think environmentalist were nut jobs, than you haven’t met Sunny. Sunny celebrated Earth Day by strapping herself to a tree that wasn’t even slated to be taken down; but she feels good about it.

Her next devotional to Mother Earth is to stop using toilet paper. What in the hell is she going to use? All, I have to say is if you meet Sunny, avoid shaking hands; a little environmentalism might just rub off on you.

Environmentalist Try to Hijack Easter

The Marxist pagans, also known as environmentalist, are trying to hijack Easter. Earth Day has fallen on Good Friday and the watermelon people sent a letter to parishes all around the country encouraging them to observe their sacred holiday:

In a letter dated April 1 to churches across the country, the environmentalist group Earth Day Network encourages priests to remember Earth Day Sunday, even though Easter is that same Sunday.

“This year we again invite you to celebrate Earth Day Sunday and share with your parishioners a story of creation care that will impart to them the importance of protecting a nurturing the planet that was provided to us,” the letter reads. “Earth Day Sunday is a great way to bring your parish together through community building and sharing the faith with those in the community while improving the world around us.”

The letter does add that if priests want to celebrate Easter instead, they could consider delivering a climate change sermon on the following Sunday. Michael Voris of REAL Catholic TV, however, is not buying it, calling the campaign a push for a “pagan takeover of Easter”

“Earth Day 2011 falls on Friday, April 22, which is Good Friday so on the following Sunday, which is two days later, the Earth Day Network wants Catholic priests all over the country to devote their homily to Earth Day. Slight problem, the next Sunday, the one after Good Friday, is Easter,” Voris said. “Imagine going to mass to hear about the Resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead only to be told to go clean up a park.”

“I can tell you that for many years we have worked with Evangelicals and all faiths who have been involved in this movement,” a Earth Day Network spokesman told The DC. “My understanding is that the letter really says the opposite, it says celebrate Easter and some other time do something for Easter and let us know what you are doing.”

Either way, Voris does not approve of the environmentalist group’s meddling.

“This is what happens when church leaders do not stop this insanity dead in its tracks. Global warming is a scam. Its intent is to limit population growth through abortion, contraception, and sterilization,” said Voris.

And if you need proof that the enviro-nutballs believe this is a holy day, just read the following:

Margaret Mead added her support for the equinox Earth Day, and in 1978 declared:

"Earth Day is the first holy day which transcends all national borders, yet preserves all geographical integrities, spans mountains and oceans and time belts, and yet brings people all over the world into one resonating accord, is devoted to the preservation of the harmony in nature and yet draws upon the triumphs of technology, the measurement of time, and instantaneous communication through space.

Earth Day draws on astronomical phenomena in a new way – which is also the most ancient way – by using the vernal Equinox, the time when the Sun crosses the equator making the length of night and day equal in all parts of the Earth. To this point in the annual calendar, EARTH DAY attaches no local or divisive set of symbols, no statement of the truth or superiority of one way of life over another. But the selection of the March Equinox makes planetary observance of a shared event possible, and a flag which shows the Earth, as seen from space, appropriate.”

If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a noise? Not according to the environmentalist. Nothing happens on this planet without man causing it.

Earth Day Should be May Day

The above picture is the goal of the entire environmentalist movement who are really Marxist adherents. Their goal is to turn us into another North Korea.

April 22 is Earth Day. This pseudo holy day is celebrating its 40th anniversary. My question is why didn’t they designate it on May Day in solidarity with their commie forbearers?

The anthropologist Margaret Mead defined the reasoning for the date of Earth Day in 1978:

But the selection of the March Equinox makes planetary observance of a shared event possible, and a flag which shows the Earth, as seen from space, appropriate."

Notice How Earth Day transcends all borders; just like communism. It brings people all over the world into one resonating accord: a mutual suffering, except of course for the elites, who would lord their power over us.

Margaret Mead’s assertion on the triumphs of technology would fly in the face of the true believers. But her reference of Earth Day as a holy day is spot on. So much so that the congregants of the holy church of environmentalism do see their way of life as the truth; one which is superior to the American way of life; one which is communal; one which is celebrated on May Day.
