EPA Shuts Down Texas Power Plant

The EPA strikes again.  Here is another example of an elitist agency throttling the throats of American citizens.  How do you spell PROGRESS?  OBAMA!

The Washington Examiner reported the following:

Chase Power, the parent company behind the $3 billion Las Brisas coal power plant in Corpus Christi, Texas, announced yesterday that it was cancelling the project.

“Chase Power … has opted to suspend efforts to further permit the facility and is seeking alternative investors as part of a plan of dissolution for the parent company,” Chase CEO Dave Freysinger told the Corpus Christi Caller-Times.

Freysinger made it very clear who was responsible for the projects death. “The (Las Brisas Energy Center) is a victim of EPA’s concerted effort to stifle solid-fuel energy facilities in the U.S., including EPA’s carbon-permitting requirements and EPA’s New Source Performance Standards for new power plants,” he said.

The Las Brisas power plant had been part of a larger Las Brisas Energy Center project planned for Corpus Christi’s Inner Harbor. Economists had projected that in the first 5 years of construction and operation the project would create as 1,300 direct and 2,600 indirect jobs. Now none of those jobs will exist.

“These costly rules exceeded the bounds of EPA authority, incur tremendous costs, and produce no real benefits related to climate change,” Freysinger commented.

Progressives Bemoan Their Own Constitution

Last month a law professor from Georgetown University stated the cause of our nation’s woes can be traced to our Constitution.  He believes it is an archaic, idiosyncratic, and evil document.  This professor of 40 years bemoans our dysfunctional system.

Here is an excerpt from his New York Times op-ed:

Our obsession with the Constitution has saddled us with a dysfunctional political system, kept us from debating the merits of divisive issues and inflamed our public discourse. Instead of arguing about what is to be done, we argue about what James Madison might have wanted done 225 years ago.

As someone who has taught constitutional law for almost 40 years, I am ashamed it took me so long to see how bizarre all this is. Imagine that after careful study a government official — say, the president or one of the party leaders in Congress — reaches a considered judgment that a particular course of action is best for the country. Suddenly, someone bursts into the room with new information: a group of white propertied men who have been dead for two centuries, knew nothing of our present situation, acted illegally under existing law and thought it was fine to own slaves might have disagreed with this course of action. Is it even remotely rational that the official should change his or her mind because of this divination?

It never fails.  A liberal always has to denigrate our founding.  Yes, these were men of property.  And yes, they were white and some did own slaves, but not all of them.  Many were against the institution of slavery and did their best to stop it.  But that somehow gets lost in the ranting of the lunatic left.  And as far as making changes to that stagnant, archaic document, the Constitution has been amended 26 times, including the 13th which prohibits slavery.  But what difference does that make?  That fact doesn’t fit the narrative of the tenured, Ivory Towered academic who wants a streamlined utopia.  Change must come here and now.  He wants a tyranny of the majority.  But he doesn’t see it that way.

IN the face of this long history of disobedience, it is hard to take seriously the claim by the Constitution’s defenders that we would be reduced to a Hobbesian state of nature if we asserted our freedom from this ancient text. Our sometimes flagrant disregard of the Constitution has not produced chaos or totalitarianism; on the contrary, it has helped us to grow and prosper.
This is not to say that we should disobey all constitutional commands. Freedom of speech and religion, equal protection of the laws and protections against governmental deprivation of life, liberty or property are important, whether or not they are in the Constitution. We should continue to follow those requirements out of respect, not obligation.

Are we getting that respect today?  I would say we’re not.  The federal government has trampled all over our property rights; freedom of speech, association and religion; and as for life, well Planned Parenthood is a sanctioned government entity.  So, I would agree with the professor that our founder’s principles have been ignored.   I will go even further and state that today’s Constitution no way resembles that of our founding.  This is the Progressives’ Constitution and not the one our founders established.

The professor stated that ignoring our Constitution has allowed us to grow and prosper.  Yeah, we’ve prospered to the tune of $17 trillion in debt.  Of course, he, like so many of his ilk doesn’t see a problem with that.  And this “prosperity” wasn’t due to ignoring the Constitution.  No, this wouldn’t have been possible without the 16th and the 17th Amendments.  We can thank the Progressives for that.  Most notably, the two presidents Mr. Seidman acclaimed in his article.  With the dissolution of States representation in the Senate and a limitless credit line, the utopians have destroyed our founder’s federalist system.  Constitutional commands are damned.  These rascals have destroyed us from within.  And the brilliant Professor Louis Seidman isn’t able to see it.  Too bad that Ivory Tower doesn’t have windows.

Progressives Marginalize "Southern" Values

A couple of weeks ago, I slapped down some cash to see the movie, Lincoln.  The first scene was a liberal Yankees wet dream.   Two pairs of Blue Bellies, both black and white, bragged to their commander-in-chief on how many “Rebs” they killed.  That kind of dialog must have been orgasmic to those who despise Southerners and those with a “Southern” mentality.  And indeed, it has.  The liberal propaganda machine is in full-throated appraisal of this movie.  Some believe the North didn’t go far enough.  According to a Salon writer, 665,000 dead aren’t enough to placate his bloodlust:

I’m not sure America ever paid that debt, in blood or money or any other currency. The lingering effects of our racist history – from the resegregation of our public schools to the enduring and astonishing “wealth gap” between whites and blacks – are national problems, not just Southern problems. Our new Civil War is infused with the undead spirit of the old one and waged by a rebellious neo-Confederacy rooted in the states of the Old South, but its influence can be felt, as with the pro-slavery forces of the 1860s, in every part of the country. (Fernando Wood, the fiery pro-slavery Democrat played by Lee Pace in “Lincoln,” was a former mayor of New York.)

Let’s face the facts.  What today’s liberals declare as “Southern” is actually traditionalism.  And Mr. Andrew O’Hehir’s column typifies the progressives’ contempt of anything traditional:  marriage, family, religion, independence, and constitutional government.  Their Civil War is not only against American traditional values; it’s against God himself.

Then we have the New Yorker columnist, George Packer.  He too believes the “Southern” mentality is becoming more marginalized.  He declares the traditional values demographic are isolated below the Mason-Dixon Line.  But that can be disproved.  Take a look at the 2012 general election county-by-county map.  What we are witnessing is a rural/urban conflict.

And since these, Yankee writers love to denigrate the South, I wonder if anyone of them gave any thought as to why the South has been so obstinate in their distrust.  Here is an excerpt by Mr. Packer’s anti-Southern article:

For a century after losing the Civil War, the South was America’s own colonial backwater—“not quite a nation within a nation, but the next thing to it,” W. J. Cash wrote in his classic 1941 study, “The Mind of the South.” From Tyler, Texas, to Roanoke, Virginia, Southern places felt unlike the rest of the country. The region was an American underbelly in the semi-tropical heat; the manners were softer, the violence swifter, the commerce slower, the thinking narrower, the past closer. It was called the Solid South, and it partly made up for economic weakness with the political strength that came from having a lock on the Democratic Party, which was led by shrewd septuagenarian committee chairmen.

Now, back to the movie, the scene where the Vice President of the Confederacy, Alexander Stephens and Abraham Lincoln are in a secret meeting says it all about what would happen to the South after the war.  Lincoln called it reconstruction.  Stephens declared it an occupation.  Stephens was right.  But history is written by the victors.

One only needs to read the 14th Amendment to get an idea of what happened to the conquered South.  They were disenfranchised and forced to pay reparations.

Section 2.

Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age,* and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

Section 3.

No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any State, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof. But Congress may by a vote of two-thirds of each House, remove such disability.

Section 4.

The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

It wasn’t until the General Amnesty Act of 1872 which allowed 150,000 former Confederate troops the ability to vote and hold office.  The act still excluded 750 others.  And let’s not forget the Carpetbaggers and military governments who exploited, murdered, and stole from a prostrated populace.

George Packer wrote about the abject poverty of the South.  That poverty can be traced back to the Northern occupation.  One of the byproducts of Northern Aggression is disease, usually caused by malnutrition. Pellagra was that plague.

And these anti-traditional Yankees wonder why we distrust the federal government.

Fortress America: Citizenship in the Age of Obama

We’re entering a new phase in America.  We’re becoming a nation of teat squawkers who believe they’re entitled to others wealth.  And don’t you One Percenters complain.  Phil Mickelson found that out the hard way.  How dare he complain about paying confiscatory taxes.  He needs to pay his “fair share.”  That’s the price you pay for living in a “free society.”  Yeah, free for them; not for Phil.

I was watching a documentary on World War II.  A German citizen recalled how the media and the Nazi government relentlessly demonized his beliefs.  He concluded that it was a relief to be conscripted into the army.  There he was just a soldier.  There he escaped the unrelenting propaganda. That man’s ruminations remind me of today’s America.

Citizens are trying to find ways to fight against the Progressives and their media lapdogs.  One group of patriots is establishing their own community in Idaho.  I believe we’ll witness more of this as the Obama administration progresses.  CNSnews.com reported the following:

The group, named Citadel, intends to purchase 2,000 to 3,000 acres for the project in western Idaho. The community will comprise of 3,500 to 7,000 families of patriotic Americans who "voluntarily choose to live together in accordance with Thomas Jefferson's ideal of Rightful Liberty."

According to the Citadel website, Rightful Liberty means that "neighbors keep their noses out of other neighbors' business, that neighbors live and let live."

Citadel explains that residents in the community will be bound by the following:
  • Patriotism
  • Pride in American Exceptionalism
  • Our proud history of Liberty as defined by our Founding Fathers, and
  • Physical preparedness to survive and prevail in the face of natural catastrophes --such as Hurricanes Sandy or Katrina -- or man-made catastrophes such as a power grid failure or economic collapse.
  •
Residents should also agree that being "prepared for the emergencies of life and being proficient with the American icon of Liberty -- the Rifle -- are prudent measures."

Some of the benefits of the Citadel community include a safe, well-prepared, patriotic community where children will be educated in school, not indoctrinated.

The community will be protected by a perimeter wall that will be inaccessible to "tourists." Each neighborhood within the community will have lower walls, dividing the town into defensible sections.

More importantly, here is the criterion for which all Citadel citizens must hold:

"Marxists, Socialists, Liberals and Establishment Republicans will likely find that life in our community is incompatible with their existing ideology and preferred lifestyles."

Citadel says that every patriot selected to live within the community "will voluntarily agree to follow the footsteps of our Founding Fathers by swearing to one another our lives, our fortunes and our Sacred Honor to defend one another and Liberty against all enemies, foreign and domestic."

Considering what happened in Taylor, Michigan this might be a viable solution.

Chris Matthews Wants to Ban Midterm Elections?

These lapdog media elites make me sick. Chris Matthews is now suggesting that no one of consequence votes in the midterm elections. I got news for you Tingles; the people who vote in the midterms are the dedicated and educated voter. We bother to show up at the polls when there isn’t a national election.

Elite scum like this leg humper, know they can’t win off-year elections. The only time these libtards can maintain the attention span of the teat squawker nation is when one of their wannabe dictators is running for president. After that, they don’t give a crap as long as their guy keeps providing the “goodies.”

The Dichotomy of Good and Evil

The Dichotomy of Good and Evil never changes.  Politics can't whitewash history.  No matter how hard the Progressives scrub their dirty laundry on the washboard of good intentions.

Blue States to Employ Proportional Electoral College Vote System?

Article II Section I

Each state shall appoint, in such manner as the legislature thereof may direct, a number of electors, equal to the whole number of senators and representatives to which the state may be entitled in the Congress; but no senator or representative, or person holding an office of trust or profit under the United States, shall be appointed elector.

We are witnessing a movement in blue states whereas the winner-takes-all Electoral College system is coming into question.  These “blue states” want a system that is more reflective of their State’s political philosophy.  They want one that is more proportional.  Maine and Nebraska already have this system.  The dichotomy of states with a Republican dominated legislature and governor, and at the same time are Democratic bastions for presidential elections have people shaking their heads.  Should the citizens of a state, as a whole, be held hostage by an enclave of heavily populated districts whose values are counter to their own?

Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina have a republican dominated legislature and governor.  All had their Electoral College votes go to Barack Obama, except North Carolina.  Citizens of those states must be asking themselves if this is a fair representation.  Why should one district be subjected to the tyranny of another just because they have a higher population?

We’re all aware of interstate rivalries.  California doesn’t hold the same values as Arizona or North Carolina.  The same goes for intrastate rivalries.  Rural districts don’t have the same values as urban.  For instance, cities like Detroit trump a small Michigan town in national politics due to the size of their population.  Here is a map of the 2012 county by county election results for the state of Michigan, along with their congressional districts.

A winner-takes-all system disenfranchises the rural citizen.  Obama and the Democrats wouldn’t take states like Michigan for granted if a proportional system were to be employed.  And for that matter, the 17th Amendment should be repealed as well.  But that is a different bag of nails that need to be hammered.

Frogleg University: Radicals Have Taken Over America

Frogleg University has a lesson plan that would counter the Marxist radicals who have taken over America: downsize the mainstream media and expand private schools.

The liberal media is already being downsized; however expanding private schools is a harder nut to crack. A friend of mine related an experience he had with a Catholic school. Liberal parents filed an application to enroll their children; however, they didn’t care for the “indoctrination” of Christianity.  They wanted the benefit of a superior education without all that “Christ” stuff.  So, they asked this Catholic school to change their curriculum.

Yeah, that’s what we’re dealing with.

N.C. Law Enforcement Official Proclaims, 'No Right is Absolute.'

NC Renegade published this video.  This is an amazing admission by a "law enforcement" official.  What this man said, was basically there is no such thing as Natural Law.  The Second Amendment exist only as long as our betters deem it appropriate.  Man's law trumps God's law and that no Right is absolute.

All North Carolinians should be concerned with this kind of totalitarian attitude.

Cheeto Joe Scarborough States Majority of Americans are "Unbalanced"

Cheeto Joe Scarborough believes that freedom loving Americans are a bunch of ignorant hayseeds.  We must be completely “unbalanced” to believe the Second Amendment was designed to protect ourselves from a tyrannical government.  He goes so far as to quote Justice Scalia:

“There was pushback from people that were saying that this app was not affiliated with the NRA,” Scarborough began, “and these were some of the same people that were trying to explain why they need assault weapons to protect their constitutional rights. Their arguments are absolutely unbalanced. They really are. You look at the argument that assault weapons are protected — we hear this all the time — by the Second Amendment. We hear that these high-capacity magazines are protected by the Second Amendment. They’re not. It’s right there in [District of Columbia v.] Heller, [Justice Antonin] Scalia wrote it.”

<

Well Cheeto Joe, as we’ve witnessed time and time again, the courts have consistently “evolved” in their opinions.  However, there is one constant, and that is oppressive governments.  We don’t care what a federal judge has to say when it comes to Natural Law and individual freedom.  You may abhor this fundamental truth.  But 65% of Americans don’t.  And with time, that number will grow.

Two-out-of-three Americans recognize that their constitutional right to own a gun was intended to ensure their freedom.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 65% of American Adults think the purpose of the Second Amendment is to make sure that people are able to protect themselves from tyranny. Only 17% disagree, while another 18% are not sure.

Wipe your Cheeto stained fingers on that poll, RINO.

The Liberal Elites Children are Special. Yours Aren't.

The elites will go to great lengths to protect themselves and their children. But won't afford regular, hard working Americans the same. Their children are special. Yours are just mere rabble.  Unless, of course they can be exploited for political purposes.

Democrats Feign Outrage Over Kiddie Exploitation

The Democrats love to exploit children. It's a time honored tradition with this party. Remember LBJ's campaign ad? And let's not forget the Clintons. They were masters at the kiddie shield game. Now, Obama has taken up the cudgel. It's about time people condemned this exploitation. Or at least point out their hypocrisy. The Democrats don't like it when their own tactics are used against them. Just ask the NRA.

Rep. John Barrow is the Latest Gun-Grabber Target

The frontal assault on our liberties is raging before our eyes.  No one is immune.  Despicable organizations such as The Coalition to Stop Gun Violence are using children as human shields.  Congressman John Barrow, a democrat from Georgia, is the latest target.

I don't care for Democrats.  But as far as I'm concerned, anyone who supports our god-given rights deserves our support.

Homosapiens Devolve into Homourbanicus

A new species has been discovered.  They are referred to as Homoslackass-erectus or in academia:  Homourbanicus. These mutants are created by natural genetic downward evolution through constant spineless posturing and spasmodic upper limb gestures, which new research has shown to cause shorter legs and an inability to ambulate other than in an awkward shuffling gait.

The "drag-crotch" shape also seems to affect brain function. Expect no eye contact or intelligent verbal communication. Studies have confirmed that this species mostly live on food stamps and full government care.

Unfortunately most are highly fertile.

George Washington and Muhammad, Together Again?

Sometimes you come across  an article that’s so shocking, it makes you wonder what’re the motivations of the author; then I read this PH.D candidate is an interfaith activist, and it all made sense.   Some people will go to great lengths to exonerate the failings of others, usually by comparing that person to another.  Craig Considine’s comparison of Muhammad to George Washington is a case point.

Where does one begin?  Well, let’s start with the first paragraph:
In seventh century Arabia, a middle-aged man had a vision to create a new religious and social order for a largely pagan and tribal society. The man, Muhammad, told his band of followers to behave wisely and civilly. "The best among you," he said, "are those who have the best manners and character." More than 1,000 years later, Muhammad's wisdom would be echoed again, this time in the British colony of Virginia, by a 13-year-old schoolboy jotting down a lengthy set of behavioral rules that would later be published as "Rules of Civility." The schoolboy was none other than George Washington, who would one day become the first president of the United States of America.

Muhammad did, in the beginning preach love and civility, but found that message wasn’t resonating.  What his potential followers wanted was an organized mob, hell bent on plunder and sanctioned killing.  And Muhammad had a god just for them.  He laid down the laws for slavery, booty, marriage, and just about every aspect of life, including murder.
George Washington on the other hand, didn’t write the “Rules of Civility.”  He copied them from a London magazine.  And he didn’t have a messiah complex like Muhammad.  He instead believed in Natural Law and Natural Rights, a concept foreign to a megalomaniac like Muhammad.  Washington was a reluctant leader.  Muhammad proclaimed himself a prophet.

Muhammad may have preached chastity.  He was anything but that.  After seeing his son’s wife without a burqa, Muhammad had another one of his many revelations.  He instructed his son to divorce his wife so he could marry her.  Praise be Allah!  And let’s not forget the six year old bride.  This unfortunate girl was barely out of her diapers when this letch married her.  No one can say George Washington displayed such despicable character traits.

What these two men had in common besides good hygiene (as the author goes into great detail) were war and slavery.  George Washington reluctantly participated in both.  Muhammad established rules for it.

I’m sure you can find the most despicable person in the world and find something good to say about them.  And that’s what PH.D candidate Craig Considine did with Muhammad.  Let’s keep in mind that this man is an “Interfaith Activist.”  His judgment is clouded with good intentions.  Just read his last paragraph.

Ultimately, Muhammad and Washington were gentlemen of the highest degree. This is no more evident than in the connection between them in the Holy Quran and "Rules of Civility." Perhaps Muslims worldwide and American could forge better relations if each group adhered to the advice Muhammad and Washington provided.
And that’s what we’re all worried about:  people taking the advice of Muhammad.

Judge Napolitano: Theodore and Woodrow

I’ve been looking for a book on the Progressive Era that delineates the ideologies of both Republican and Democratic politicians of that period.  I do believe Judge Napolitano’s latest work accomplishes what I’m looking for.

Considering the hagiographies I’ve had to endure, namely, Arthur Walworth’s Pulitzer Prize biography of Woodrow Wilson, an honest and refreshing history is much needed, especially in this day and age of progressivism run amok.  And how do I know that Judge Napolitano’s book meets that criterion?  Publisher Weekly did a hit job review.  That’s how I know.

Fox News regular and former New Jersey judge Napolitano (Constitutional Chaos) seeks to prove that presidents Theodore Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson were not heroes but A-list bad guys.. Napolitano claims that Roosevelt and Wilson “pushed aside the traditionally accepted and constitutionally mandated restrictions on the federal government and used it as an instrument to redistribute wealth, regulate personal behavior, enrich the government, and enhance the government’s health with wars.” With the draft, instituted by Wilson in WWI, the U.S. instituted “a form of slavery and therefore tyranny.” Napolitano repeatedly links what he views as Roosevelt’s and Wilson’s Progressive era folly and perfidy to the present, claiming that Wilson instituted the federal income tax we know today, which the authors calls “theft” and that, thanks to Roosevelt’s foreign meddling, the U.S. is the “most imperialistic country in the history of the world.” This hit job takes on the Federal Reserve, compulsory education, industrial regulation, and race with equal lack of subtlety. Roosevelt and Wilson, according to Napolitano, were agents of central economic planning. Whatever political points Napolitano is trying to score, he doesn’t accomplish. Agent: Bob Barnett. (Nov.)

Special Ed Schultz Doubles Down on Stupidity

Special Ed Schultz believes armed teachers and faculty might be considered a challenge to mass murderers.  Yeah, I’m sure that’s what all killers are looking for: a challenge.  On top of that asinine statement, the mentally challenged libtard doubled down on stupidity.

Would it be a deterrent if, you know, say perpetrators know that there's guns in the schools? How do we know they wouldn't view that as a challenge? I mean, we got a goofy world out there. I'm just not convinced that packing a small firearm is the best defense or certainly not the best defense. You know, you want to make the best defense? Make the school a damn fortress. I mean, you could do that, I mean but, is that reasonable? Is that the right thing to do? Is it necessary? And so I'm just, is it nec-, haven't we had enough school shootings where this is necessary? We've never had a civilian stop a shooting.

And these are the people who want to run our lives.  God forbid.

Ghoulish FMR. Gov. Ed Rendell Dances on Newtown Victim's Graves

Democrats love a crisis.  Their ongoing quest for dominion over our lives will venture into the ghoulish.  Here is Fast Eddy Rendell dancing with suppressed glee on the graves of Newtown’s shooting victim’s.

FMR. GOV. ED RENDELL, NBC NEWS POLITICAL ANALYST: Well, there's two things: number one, the battle on guns and reasonable forms of gun control didn't start after Newtown. We've been doing it. There were mayors in the '90s, when I was mayor of Philadelphia, that were suing the gun manufacturers. So this has been an ongoing battle. It goes all the way back – it even predates Columbine, and each tragedy, we resolve to do more.

The good thing about Newtown is, it was so horrific that I think it galvanized Americans to a point where the intensity on our side is going to match the intensity on their side. Secondly, I'm not dismayed by those statements at all. Those statements convince the average American that the other side is absolute – looney, nuts, off their rocker – and that drives people to the conclusion that we've got to do something reasonable.

Dance Eddy, dance!

Five Facts About Guns and Gun Violence

Reason T.V. listed 5 facts everyone should know about guns and gun violence. Click on the link below to watch video.

1. Violent crime – including violent crime using guns – has dropped massively over the past 20 years.

The violent crime rate - which includes murder, rape, and beatings - is half of what it was in the early 1990s. And the violent crime rate involving the use of weapons has also declined at a similar pace.

2. Mass shootings have not increased in recent years.

Despite terrifying events like Sandy Hook or last summer’s theater shooting in Aurora, Colorado, mass shootings are not becoming more frequent. “There is no pattern, there is no increase,” says criminologist James Allen Fox of Northeastern University, who studies the issue. Other data shows that mass killings peaked in 1929.

3. Schools are getting safer.

Across the board, schools are less dangerous than they used be.Over the past 20 years, the rate of theft per 1,000 students dropped from 101 to 18. For violent crime, the victimization rate per 1,000 students dropped from 53 to 14.

4. There Are More Guns in Circulation Than Ever Before.

Over the past 20 years, virtually every state in the country has liberalized gunownership rules and many states have expanded concealed carry laws that allow more people to carry weapons in more places. There around 300 million guns in the United States and at least one gun in about 45 percent of all households. Yet the rate of gun-related crime continues to drop.

5. “Assault Weapons Bans” Are Generally Ineffective.

While many people are calling for reinstating the federal ban on assault weapons – an arbitrary category of guns thathas no clear definition – research shows it would have no effect on crime and violence. “Should it be renewed,” concludes a definitive study, “the ban’s effects on gun violence are likely to be small at best and perhaps too small for reliable measurement.”

Unfortunately, gun-grabbers don’t care about facts.  They want you subordinate to their whims.  Click on the link below to watch video.

Female Space Aliens Abused by White Men

The Progressives have once again used taxpayers’ largess to fund their propaganda.  The target, as usual, is children.  Here is the latest waste of your hard earned money.

A new video game featuring a black alien female superhero delivered to Earth to fight global warming is about to hit the market thanks to a $100,000 grant from the Obama administration.

The National Endowment for the Arts is funding the Spelman College of Atlanta, Ga.'s multi-episode game called "HERadventure." In the grant announcement made last year, the NEA said the story "focuses on a young female superhero sent to Earth to save her own planet from devastation because of climate changes caused by social issues impacting women and girls."

The game is set to debut on March 8 on International Women's Day.

The college's digital newspaper described the project this way: "What would happen if the societal issues affecting women put other planets at risk? Well, of course, HER, a black female superhero, would swoop in with a plan to save the universe. HER is central to HERadventure, a science fiction-based, multimedia platform project that interweaves virtual worlds, digital and social media to create a gaming and storytelling experience. HERadventure not only entertains but tackles social issues that permeate the daily reality of many women."

Well, what do you know?  Space aliens are the latest minority group to be abused by white men.
