Fareed Zakaria Calls Tea Partiers Anti-Democratic; Then Invokes Obama Dictatorship

Liberals cease to amaze me. Their hypocrisy is downright jaw dropping at times. Fareed Zakaria was on Anderson Cooper’s 360 Show. The son of a third world Imam blamed the tea partiers for holding our “democracy” hostage by not raising the debt ceiling. Now, this man was adamant that the demands of the tea party people were dictatorial and that THEY must compromise their principles, because to not do so would be “undemocratic.”

Fareed Zakaria is a naturalized citizen. I thought you had to have a basic understanding of our form of government, and pass a test before becoming a citizen. His insistence that we are a democracy, when in fact we are a constitutional republic, makes me wonder what the federal government is teaching these immigrants.

But the most appalling part of this interview, after he called the tea partiers “anti-democratic”, was his invocation of the 14th Amendment. He wants Obama to become a dictator and raise the debt ceiling himself. Now, I ask you who is “anti-democratic”.

Arab Spring Degenerates into Coptic Christian Nightmare

Isn’t democracy great? Not if you’re a Coptic Christian in Egypt. The Muslim Brotherhood is organized and making their move. Unfortunately, anyone who isn’t a follower of the religion of peace is ruing the day that Mubarak was ousted from power.

CNN's Don Lemon Talks Down to Sen. Rand Paul

CNN anchor Don Lemon is a condescending punk. Just watch this interview and you’ll clearly see why the American people have no respect for the media. Sen. Rand Paul handled himself well against this Democratic Party shill.

Hey Don, why don’t YOU put away your talking points. And while you’re at it, put that DNC button back on your lapel. Have some pride for Pete’s sake.

Weekly Republican Address 7/30/11

Considering that we're reaching crunch time on the nation's debt ceiling time limit (which I think is a bunch of crap), I thought I would post the weekly Republican address.

Sen. Marco Rubio Speaks Truth to Power

The Democrats are disgusting hypocrites. For two years they had complete control of the federal government and didn’t pass a budget; yet they blame the tea party for our nation’s financial crisis. They called for civility after the Arizona shooting, only to call tea partiers absolutist; extremist; terrorist; and hostage takers.

Senator Marco Rubio called out these hypocrites on the senate floor. But the most important point he made was that the federal government cannot and will not stop its spending. That acknowledgement is the first step in what is necessary, and that is the diminution of centralized power.

The Facts of Life for Liberals: A Tutorial on How Money Works

I remember my first Liberal, birds and bees moment. The little urchin threw a tantrum about how the “corporations” were screwing him. And that he was sick and tired of these “fat cats” pissing down his back, while flying around the country in their “corporate” jets. And that the rich were getting richer off the backs of the poor.

Now, here is a video that will cut to the chase, and help explain to your little reprobate how money works. However, there is no accompanying video to address the eventual deflection of how the United States screwed over the American Indian. I’m afraid you’re on your own for that one.

Obamanomics: America's Cure for Illegal Immigration

Who would have thought that Obama’s economic policies would be the answer to our country’s illegal alien problem? Jobs are harder to find, especially for those who are “undocumented”. Many Latinos are finding opportunity where there was none before: Mexico.

There are fewer undocumented immigrants in California – and the Sacramento region – because many are now finding the American dream south of the border.

"It's now easier to buy homes on credit, find a job and access higher education in Mexico," Sacramento's Mexican consul general, Carlos González Gutiérrez, said Wednesday. "We have become a middle-class country."

Now, if that isn’t an indictment, I don’t know what is. Mexico has become the land of opportunity, while the United States is sinking into third world status. It looks like Obama and his traitorous skunks in the DemoRat Party have accomplished their goal of retribution on American colonialism.

However, there is a silver lining to this exodus. The teat has dried up. The leeches are moving back to their mother country, undoubtedly looking for another host to suck dry:

"They're going back home because they can't get medical help or government assistance anymore," Frausto said, "And when it's getting so difficult for them to find a job without proper documentation, it's pushing them away."

Who needs a fence when we have Obamanomics

Master John Kerry: "You Slaves Stop Eating My Seed Corn!"

Senator John (I served in Vietnam) Kerry came down from the Heinz Plantation to lecture the field hands about history and economics. It looks like the slaves have learned to read and have somehow picked up books that didn’t make it to the Progressive book burning event.

The D.C. Masters can’t have this kind of free thinking. Now, the House slaves have rebelled and that movement must be put down. That movement known as “absolutism” must be squashed.

Kerry said conservative House Republicans were coming into debt-ceiling negotiations with a large amount of "absolutism."

"They have forgotten history if they ever knew it," Kerry said. "They're forgetting that we did this at a time and created the greatest wealth in American history and we didn't savage those things that are going to produce the jobs of the future of America. What I'm afraid they're doing is coming in with such zeal and absolutism, they're going to eat American's seed corn with some of these cuts."

Don’t you slaves dare eat the Master’s seed corn. That’s reserved for your betters! Now, get back to work. The Master must reap what you have sown.

Dawn of the Debt: Rise of the Obama Zombies

Okay, I added Rise of the Obama Zombies to the title of this video. I just couldn’t help myself. But considering the amount of debt that this administration has heaped upon the American people, I believe it’s appropriate. Especially, since there are a whole lot of Democrats out there mindlessly encouraging the Anointed One to invoke the 14th Amendment and raise the debt ceiling.

The 14th Amendment: Democrats Pathway to a Dictatorship

The Democrats aren’t hiding their disdain for freedom, liberty and the American way. The party that doesn’t let a good crisis go to waste is getting closer to their goal: a Democratic dictatorship.

Minority Whip Steny Hoyer and the haughty Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee have joined the cacophony of liberal/progressive voices to circumvent the obligations of Congress and invoke the 14th Amendment; a post civil war relic that was designed to pay off the debts incurred during the War of Northern Aggression.

On Thursday, Texas Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee urged the President to act like a dictator and unilaterally raise the debt ceiling using the so-called "14th Amendment" option.
The hyperpartisan Democrat rattled off a laundry list of horribles she claimed would happen if Speaker Boehner's bill passes:

· Medicare would be gone
· Pell Grants would not be available
· Seniors would be put out of nursing homes
· Social Security would be trampled on
· American savings would be lost
· The American dream of buying a home would be lost
· Public transportation like airplanes and trains would be somehow jeopardized

Holding a two-inch think book, Jackson Lee said, "And if we cannot pay our bills Mr. President, use the Constitution and use the 14th amendment."

Judge Napolitano sums up the reasoning for this post civil war relic in the above video.

It’s time to repeal the 14th Amendment before the Democrats install their Hugo Chavez.

Democratic Twilight Zone: Republicans Want a Dictatorship

Why watch reruns of the Twilight Zone, when you can turn on the news. Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has turned class warfare into an art form. She declared that we (Democrats) make all the sacrifices, while they (Republicans) share the wealth. This coming from a lady whose personal income improved over $35 million last year.

I must say that Donkey must have “Oxymoron” branded to its ass. The Democrats always make asinine statements. Just look at DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz. She declared that the Republicans were acting like dictators during this debt ceiling crisis:

“Aren’t we at the point where the closer we get to chaos, the more concern that there should be about coming to the table and compromising with Democrats?” Wasserman Schultz asked. “This is not leadership. This is almost like dictatorship. I know they want to force the outcome that … their extremists would like to impose. But they are getting ready to spark panic and chaos, and they seem to be OK with that. And it’s just really disappointing, and potentially devastating.”

So according to Lil Debbie, Republicans are tyrants for wanting fiscal responsibility. In the meantime, we have Democrats who really want to install a dictator. Bill Clinton and Rep. James Clyburn - just to name a few – have given the green light to Barack Obama to ignore Congress and raise the debt ceiling on his own:

“He could do that [an executive order] with a stroke of a pen. We have seen many big things done in history that way,” Clyburn said on MSNBC’s “Jansing & Co.” “I was joking to my staff the other day: ‘Tell me the bill number for the Emancipation Proclamation.’ It was an executive order. We integrated the armed services by executive order. We integrated the public schools by executive order. Sometimes executives must order that things get done.”

Clyburn added, “If the president gets up to Aug. 2 without a piece of legislation, he should not allow this country to go into default. He should sign an executive order invoking the 14th Amendment and send that to all the governmental agencies for us to continue to pay our bills.”

Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) has repeatedly demanded that Obama use his office to issue an executive order to give amnesty to illegal aliens. The Anointed One even contemplated this action:

So, I ask you which party wants a dictatorship. more:

Barack Obama: Since When Did Compromise Become a Dirty Word?

Barack Obama just addressed the nation on our “national crisis”: the national debt. If you didn’t watch it, you didn’t miss much. It was the same kind of crap that you would expect from a jonesing community organizer. It was the same nonsense that has been spouted since this man first came onto the scene: class warfare, blame Bush, shared sacrifice, investment in the federal government, blah…blah…blah.

While Americans are trying to live within their means, we have a federal government whose appetite is equivalent to a Monty Python sketch:

Do we really want to send more money to that Swamp Monster? And why is the federal government “investing” in firefighters, teachers, and policeman? That should be taken care of locally. Is it any wonder that this beast in D.C. can’t pay its bills?

The Anointed One then lectured us on the art of compromise. I will say its compromise that brought us to this mess. So, yes Mr. President, compromise is a dirty word.

Let’s take a look at one of the most famous compromisers of all time: Henry Clay. Ever heard of him? I bet most Americans haven’t. This man was the epitome of big government in his day. He thrice ran and lost for president.

Henry Clay was known as the Great Compromiser. He was the embodiment of the Whig Party, which disbanded after just 30 short years. That is what compromise gets you. But at least Mr. Clay has one distinction that is quite befitting of his character. He was the first person to lie in state at the U.S. Capitol. That’s the highest honor a statist could ever receive.

Senator Harry Reid Calls Tea Partiers Extremist

The Tea Party movement has set up shop in Senator Harry Reid’s brain. While Dingy was pushing the latest Democratic snake oil to the media, he had to back hand the American people:

"Unfortunately the Republicans who used to run Congress, the two Republican caucuses, are being driven by a radical right-wing that is so in-tune with the tea party.

"They want their leaders to ignore the American people as they're doing. They want their leaders to ignore the business leaders like the Chamber of Commerce, that they're ignoring. And even a majority of Republicans around this country want something to happen and they're refusing to do that.

"They'd rather cut Social Security benefits than end taxpayer-funded giveaways for these billionaires and millionaires who have their corporate jets.

"We should not let these extremists dictate the outcome of this debate for the direction of our country. The time for ideological extremism should end. Now is the time for cooperation and consensus building and that's what legislation is all about."

Do these people look like extremist to you?

Obama's Pathology: FDR was a Conservative

I sometimes wonder if Barack Obama is pathological. In a “town hall meeting”, the Anointed One stated that FDR was fiscally conservative. In an interview back in 2009, he stated that FDR was called a socialist for enacting programs like social security.

Here is a short compilation by Politicfact:

"What's happened is that whenever a president tries to bring about significant changes, particularly during times of economic unease, then there is a certain segment of the population that gets very riled up," Obama said. "FDR was called a socialist and a communist."

Indeed, Roosevelt was called a socialist or a communist many times. Most of that criticism came in the 1930s, when he was enacting programs intended to pull the country out of the Great Depression.

• "Roosevelt is a socialist, not a Democrat," declared Republican Rep. Robert Rich of Pennsylvania during a debate on the House floor on July 23, 1935. That remark came after Republicans hinted they were considering a move to impeach Roosevelt, according to the New York Times .

• "The New Deal is now undisguised state socialism, declared Senator Simeon D. Fess (R-Ohio) today as he pictured President Roosevelt as the New Deal's leading socialist," reported the Chicago Daily Tribune on Aug. 7, 1934. "The president's recent statements," Fess said, "remove any doubt of his policy of state socialism, which necessitates increased activities of the government in either ownership or operation of industry, or both."

• "The Russian newspapers during the last election [1932] published the photograph of Franklin D. Roosevelt over the caption, 'The first communistic President of the United States,'" said Sen. Thomas Schall, a Republican from Minnesota. "Evidently the Russian newspapers had knowledge concerning the ultimate intent of the President, which had been carefully withheld from the voters in this country. In fact, the voters of the United States were meticulously misled as to such intentions." We found Schall's comments in the book, All But the People: Franklin D. Roosevelt and his Critics, 1933-1939.

FDR was a fiscal conservative? His contemporaries thought otherwise. This must be the kind of crap that is taught at Harvard and Columbia.

Federal Employees More Likely to Become Zombies Than Get Fired

If you want job security, the federal government is the place to be. USA Today reported the following:

Death — rather than poor performance, misconduct or layoffs — is the primary threat to job security at the Environmental Protection Agency, the Small Business Administration, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Office of Management and Budget and a dozen other federal operations.

The federal government fired 0.55% of its workers in the budget year that ended Sept. 30 — 11,668 employees in its 2.1 million workforce. Research shows that the private sector fires about 3% of workers annually for poor performance, says John Palguta, former research chief at the federal
Merit Systems Protection Board, which handles federal firing disputes.

When job security is at a premium, the federal government remains the place to work for those who want to avoid losing a job. The job security rate for all federal workers was 99.43% last year and nearly 100% for those on the job more than a few years.

Some of these workers are so entrenched; I believe they’ve become zombies: mindlessly following the dictates of the bureaucratic machine; feeding on the life blood of taxpayers; cannibalizing businesses with their ridiculous regulations. I guess it’s better to be the living dead, than unemployed.

Don't Fear the Democratic Scare Tactics

Scare tactics is the bread and butter of the Democratic Party. If the Republicans cave and raise the debt ceiling, the nation will face this problem again in Obama’s second term. It’s time to make the hard choices now and that is to cut the profligate spending and whole federal bureaucracies.

Tea Partiers Are Not Responsible for Debt Crisis

How in the hell is it that the Tea Partiers are being blamed for the debt crisis? It is the out of control spending that brought about this movement. And now these fiscally responsible Americans are called extremist for refusing to give more credit to these spoiled D.C. brats.

If the country defaults on its debt, it is because the Obama administration allowed it to happen. There are whole bureaucratic agencies that should be cut, before one bond holder is denied his due. But we have seen what the Obama administration thinks of investors. Just look at what happened to those unfortunates who bought G.M.C. Bonds; the Anointed One bitch slapped them to make a political point.

Democrats Try to Co-Opt Ronald Reagan

Leave it to the Democrats to try and co-opt Ronald Reagan. Whenever their brand becomes tainted, they close doors and start another organization under a different name; or more insidiously, they change whole definitions of words. F.A. Hayek warned us of that in his book On the Road to Serfdom.

You’d have thought that Liberals would’ve touted their demi-god F.D.R., their standard bearer of economic excellence, as the vehicle to bring us out of this “Great Recession”. But that history book has proven to be nothing more than a bunch of lies. Now, they need to obfuscate and attach themselves, like parasites, to a proven winner: Ronald Reagan.

These socialist invoke Reagan more than conservatives. Before you know it, they’ll make the Gipper into a card carrying communist.

Montana Farmer Sounds Off on Retired Congressman Alan Simpson

I received an email today that sums up the feelings of many who have watched career politicians run this country into the ground. This particular missive is said to be from a farmer in Montana responding to retired congressman Alan Simpson’s remarks about senior citizens being the greediest generation. Simpson served on Barack Obama’s Debt Commission.

Here is the email. Enjoy:

"Hey Alan, let's get a few things straight..

1. As a career politician, you have been on the public tit for FIFTY YEARS.

2. I have been paying Social Security taxes for 48 YEARS (since I was 15 years old. I am now 63).

3. My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest bearing account for decades until you political pukes decided to raid the account and give OUR money to a bunch of zero ambition losers in return for votes, thusbankrupting the system and turning Social Security into a Ponzi scheme that would have made Bernie Madoff proud.

4. Recently, just like Lucy & Charlie Brown, you and your ilk pulled the proverbial football away from millions of American seniors nearing retirement and moved the goalposts for full retirement from age 65 to age 67. NOW, you and your shill commission are proposing to move thegoalposts YET AGAIN.

5. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying into Medicare from Day One, and now you morons propose to change the rules of the game.. Why? Because you idiots mismanaged other parts of the economy to such an extent that you need to steal money from Medicare to pay the bills.

6. I, and millions of other Americans, have been paying income taxes our entire lives, and now you propose to increase our taxes yet again. Why? Because you incompetent bastards spent our money so profligately thatyou just kept on spending even after you ran out of money. Now, you come to the American taxpayers and say you need more to pay off YOUR debt.

To add insult to injury, you label us "greedy" for calling "bullshit" on your incompetence. Well, Captain Bullshit, I have a few questions for YOU.

1. How much money have you earned from the American taxpayers during your pathetic 50-year political career?

2. At what age did you retire from your pathetic political career, and how much are you receiving in annual retirement benefits from the American taxpayers?

3. How much do you pay for YOUR government provided health insurance?

4. What cuts in YOUR retirement and healthcare benefits are you proposing in your disgusting deficit reduction proposal, or, as usual, have you exempted yourself and your political cronies?
It is you, Captain Bullshit, and your political co-conspirators called Congress who are the "greedy" ones. It is you and your fellow nutcases who have bankruptedAmerica and stolen the American dream from millions of loyal, patriotic taxpayers. And for what? Votes. That's right, sir. You and yours have bankrupted America for the sole purpose of
advancing your pathetic political careers. You know it, we know it, and you know that we know it.

And you can take that to the bank, you miserable son of a bitch.

Rep. Mel Watt Fails to Cut Office of Ethics Budget

Rep. Mel Watt of North Carolina’s 12th congressional district tried to exact revenge on the Office of Congressional Ethics. The gerrymandered Democrat underwent an investigation last year. Even though Mr. Watt was found innocent of any wrong doing, he tried to cut their budget by 40%.

On a bipartisan vote of 102-302, the House rejected the amendment, offered by Rep. Mel Watt, a North Carolina Democrat who was investigated last year by the office.

“Today, lawmakers stood up for ethics by rejecting Watt's misguided amendment," said Melanie Sloan, the executive director of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, a watchdog group, in a statement. "Now lawmakers should take the additional step of strengthening the OCE by giving it subpoena power. The only lawmakers with anything to fear from an empowered OCE are those who have done something wrong."

It looks like Congressman Mel Watt has 40% more to fear.

Barack Obama: The Detroit Lion of Presidents

Business leaders are speaking out against the Obama administration and they are pulling no punches. Steve Wynn, CEO of Wynn Resorts, came out of the corner swinging:

And I'm saying it bluntly, that this administration is the greatest wet blanket to business, and progress and job creation in my lifetime. And I can prove it and I could spend the next 3 hours giving you examples of all of us in this market place that are frightened to death about all the new regulations, our healthcare costs escalate, regulations coming from left and right. A President that seems, that keeps using that word redistribution. Well, my customers and the companies that provide the vitality for the hospitality and restaurant industry, in the United States of America, they are frightened of this administration. And it makes you slow down and not invest your money. Everybody complains about how much money is on the side in America.

Bernie Marcus, co-founder of Home Depot, attributes the failure of Obama’s policies to his lack of experience and background:

I‘m not sure Obama would understand anything that I’d say, because he’s never really worked a day outside the political or legal area. He doesn’t know how to make a payroll, he doesn’t understand the problems businesses face. I would try to explain that the plight of the businessman is very reactive to Washington. As Washington piles on regulations and mandates, the impact is tremendous. I don‘t think he’s a bad guy. I just think he has no knowledge of this.

But the most devastating critique of the Obama administration was the panel of commentators in the above video. One of them called Barack Obama the Detroit Lion of the presidents. Now, that is harsh.

Class Warfare: The Foundation of the Democratic Party

Democratic Senator Tom Harkin (IA) called the Republican Party a cult for trying to reign in the outlandish spending of the federal government. The House’s Cut, Cap, and Balance Bill is like holy water to a vampire: it burns. And as with all bloodsuckers, they need sustenance.

According to Mr. Big Government, the millionaires and billionaires are the leeches of society; taking advantage of the middle class; dipping their bread in the open wounds of the poor and sucking the potential out of their marrow. Class warfare is the foundation of the Democratic Party platform.

Deception is what keeps Senator Tom Harkin in office. He would have all of us believe that it is he and the federal government that is our savior, when in fact he is enslaving us to an insurmountable debt that will render future generations of Americans subject to the tyranny of domestic and foreign government bureaucrats.

Rep. Mick Mulvaney Appears on Hardball

Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-SC) made an appearance on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews. Anyone who has watched Tingles in the past knows this guy is an insufferable loud mouth who loves to talk over his guest. The DNC toady has a reputation for rabid partisan politics.

After watching the above video, I was a little perplexed at the civility, and congeniality of Tingles. Someone must have slipped him a glass of prune juice. I don’t believe he interrupted the freshman congressman one time. Now, that is refreshing.

Rep. Paul Ryan on Cap, Cut and Balance

Rep. Paul Ryan (R) made a damn good presentation on the House floor. This is a must see.

Judge Rules N.C. Taxpayers Must Fund Glorified Daycare Centers

A North Carolina activist judge ruled that the state budget was unconstitutional, because republicans had put a cap on a glorified, taxpayer funded daycare program. The News and Observer Reports the following:

Wake County Superior Court Judge Howard E. Manning Jr. issued an order Monday that the state cannot implement any barrier or regulation that prevents eligible at-risk children from enrolling in the state's pre-kindergarten program, previously known as More at Four.

Manning cited a provision in the new law spelling out a 20 percent cap for at-risk children, which would dramatically reduce the number of slots for them. The budget also cut the program's budget by 20 percent, or $32 million, and specified that families who are not "at risk" would be charged copayments

Mind you this program is designed for 4 year olds. And we all know how valuable an education is at four. If it weren’t for Judge Manning’s intercession, children couldn’t become connoisseurs of paste; finger painting masterpieces would be lost to the world; and remedial pigtail pulling would have to wait until kindergarten.

Who in their right mind would deny four year olds this sound basic education? Certainly, not Judge Howard E. Manning, Jr. defender of toddlers:

"This case is about the individual right of every child to have the equal opportunity to obtain a sound basic education," Manning wrote in the order. "The constitutional right belongs to the child, not to the adults. Each at-risk four-year-old that appears at the doors of the [North Carolina pre-kindergarten] program this fall is a defenseless, fragile child whose background of poverty or disability places the child at-risk of subsequent academic failure."

Because if we don’t catch these children at four, their lives will be irredeemable.

Rep. Allen West Cracked Under Pressure?

Democrats can spin anything. When Rep. Allen West (R) laid into DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wassermann Schultz about her vile character and unlady like treatment of fellow congressmen. She attributed his “outburst” as some sort of mental breakdown, that he had succumbed to the pressures of his office.

Is this woman really going to go there? Rep. Allen West, a leader of men, who served two tours in Afghanistan can’t handle a bunch of backstabbing lowlifes in Washington D.C. Is that what Debbie Wassermann Schultz expects us to believe?

And as you can expect, a Democrat can make a fund raiser out of mouse fart. Here is the latest:

From: Steve IsraelSent: Wed 7/20/2011 11:02 AMSubject: You need to see this

"You are the most vile, unprofessional, and despicable member of the US House of Representatives... you are not a Lady."

- Republican Congressman Allen West in an e-mail to Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz

Friend --

Last night, Republican Rep. Allen West sent a disgraceful e-mail outburst to one of our most accomplished colleagues in the House, Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, telling her to "shut the heck up" for daring to challenge the GOP plan to gut Medicare and Social Security to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.

I wish I could say I was surprised.

Unfortunately, this is exactly the sort of partisan tantrum we're used to from House Republicans as they push our economy to the brink of disaster while pandering to their Tea Party base.

We can't let this shameful display go unanswered.

Contribute $3 or more right now to help us defeat disgraceful Republicans like Allen West in 2012. My Democratic colleagues are so appalled that they've agreed to match all gifts today dollar-for-dollar up to our $100,000 goal.

This kind of appalling behavior is all too familiar from Congressman West, who has riled up his extremist right-wing base by attacking progressive women for "neutering American men," calling supporters of President Obama, "a threat to the gene pool" and writing for a misogynist magazine that denigrated women with words I'd be ashamed to even repeat.

And now that he's in Congress, West thinks he can attack a respected legislator likeCongresswoman Wasserman Schultz with this kind of hate-filled screed.

Allen West has shown us his true colors, now let's show him ours.

Contribute right now to help throw Allen West and his Tea Party colleagues out in 2012.
Let's make sure Republicans don't forget this moment.

Rep. Steve Israel

The 14th Amendment is an Out Dated Civil War Relic

Well, what do you know?  Bill Clinton, also known as the Riddler for his obfuscation of the word “is”, said he would use the 14th Amendment to circumvent the Constitutional prerogatives of Congress in order to raise the debt ceiling.

Considering the record of Clinton, this should be no surprise.  His abuses of the executive office won the admiration of every deviant in the press corp.  They marveled at his ability to lie, cheat, and abuse cigars.  He was the wonder boy from Hope.  I’m beginning to believe that we should have a new definition for the word “hope”:  the unrealistic expectations from lying democratic politicians.

I say it is time we stand up and put an end to the lies the Democrats are putting forth; and I’m talking about the 14th Amendment.  This post civil war amendment was passed so as to ensure ex-slaves and their progeny were granted equal protection and due process granted to citizens under individual STATE LAWS.  The 14th also ensured that the debts incurred during the AMERICAN CIVIL WAR would be honored.

Today, we recognize that we no longer have slaves and that the; descendents of ex-slaves no longer fear exclusion from the law; and that the financial obligations of Civil War debt incurred in the 1860’s has been paid off.

We Americans should recognize that the 14th Amendment is outdated and should be repealed.  To keep the 14th Amendment in our Constitution invites a totalitarian central government; a government that has no regards for the 10th Amendment or the Republic.

Rep. Jim Moran Storms Out of Interview

Rep. Jim Moran of Virginia’s 8th Congressional District got a little upset in an interview.  Apparently, he didn’t like the questions and decided to leave, especially after the redistribution of wealth inquiry.

How many Republicans have you witnessed doing something like that?  I can’t recall any, probably because they’re used to it.

I don’t know why Rep. Jim Moran is so sensitive; just take a look at his district.  His constituents depend on the confiscation of wealth.  The majority of them work for the federal government.

Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley: Thy Name is Hypocrite

Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley is another forked tongue Democratic snake.  At the National Governor’s Association he accused Republicans of sabotaging the economy.  The Associated Press reported the following remarks by the head of the Democratic National Governor’s Association:
"I think that there is an extreme wing within their party who have as their primary goal not the jobs recovery, but the defeat of President Obama in 2012," O'Malley said in an interview. "They know that their formulations, their policies of less revenues and less regulation badly failed our country and plunged us into this recession. So their only way of evening the playing field is to keep the president from being successful in the jobs recovery."

He contended that key Republican members of Congress, "through their intransigence, cleverly set up a situation for America's economy to fail, either by needlessly driving us to default, or needlessly driving us into massive public sector layoffs."

"I think that they are disgracefully cynical," said O'Malley, who has a prominent profile as head of the Democratic governors' group.

Well, let’s take a look at the pot.  According to the life of O’Malley, by his own criteria, his administration is culpable of sabotaging the prosperity of the State of Maryland.  The Frederick County Times reports the following:

Maryland Governor Martin O’Malley announced that he is offering state employees the option to voluntarily terminate their employment with the state in order to save money in the FY 2012 state budget. The State is offering employees $15,000 plus $200 for each year of service with the state if they agree to terminate their employment by January 31, 2011. To be eligible for the incentive state employees must apply for the incentive between December 7, 2010 and January 4, 2011.

The state is attempting to eliminate 500 positions in total during FY 2011. Governor O’Malley claims that he has already eliminated 4,200 positions in state employment. Those who apply for the voluntarily termination incentive will not automatically be accepted into the program. Governor O’Malley’s Executive Order states that the Secretary will review the applications and determine whether the position should be eliminated.

O’Malley’s own website brags that he eliminated over 4,200 government positions.  Not only has he driven a massive layoff of public employees, he has starved the state coffers of revenue by reducing income taxes of 85% Marylanders.  Wow!  What a hypocrite.

Governor O’Malley should have a sign hung around his neck:

Hazmat Suits and CFL Light Bulbs

The House Republicans failed to reach a supermajority that would’ve repealed The Better Use of Light Bulb Act.  This law was passed in 2007 and will eventually phase out the cheap and safe incandescent light bulb.   Liberals are elated that big brother has stepped all over the free will of the American people.  Newspaper editors blow their noses on the common man.  Here is a Kansas City Star’s sneering comment:

Yes, this is the law the American people have been hearing so much about lately, the one that many House Republicans and a few Democrats want to repeal for political reasons, whining that it takes away our rights to - essentially - buy inefficient, costly, old-fashioned incandescent light bulbs.

Although they don't exactly say it that way.

Instead, they continue peddling their anti-government bogeyman theory of the moment, that Washington (and they say that word with a sneer) is trying to control light-bulb freedom in America.

The editors at the Kansas City Star don’t mind if you have a choice, just as long as it’s a choice made by them:

Actually, the law simply requires that people get to choose from more efficient bulbs in the future, which are likely to be compact fluorescents or light-emitting diode lamps. They cost more upfront than incandescents (at least right now), but use a lot less energy

What the editors at the Kansas City Star omitted is that you practically need a hazmat suit hanging in your closet if you break one of these so-called energy efficient bulbs.  Fortunately for us, the EPA has issued guidelines for just such a disaster:

Before cleanup

·    Have people and pets leave the room.

·    Air out the room for 5-10 minutes by opening a window or door to the outdoor environment.

·    Shut off the central forced air heating/air-conditioning system, if you have one.

·    Collect materials needed to clean up broken bulb:

o  stiff paper or cardboard;

o  sticky tape;

o  damp paper towels or disposable wet wipes (for hard surfaces); and

o  a glass jar with a metal lid or a sealable plastic bag.

During cleanup

·    Be thorough in collecting broken glass and visible powder.

·    Place cleanup materials in a sealable container.

After cleanup

·    Promptly place all bulb debris and cleanup materials outdoors in a trash container or protected area until materials can be disposed of properly. Avoid leaving any bulb fragments or cleanup materials indoors.

·    If practical, continue to air out the room where the bulb was broken and leave the heating/air conditioning system shut off for several hours.

They also provide instructions on how to prevent breaking these CFL bulbs:

·    Always switch off and allow a working CFL bulb to cool before handling.

·    Always handle CFL bulbs carefully to avoid breakage.

o  If possible, screw/unscrew the CFL by holding the plastic or ceramic base, not the glass tubing.

o  Gently screw in the CFL until snug. Do not over-tighten.

o  Never forcefully twist the glass tubing.

·    Do not install CFLs in table lamps and floor lamps that can be easily knocked over, in unprotected light fixtures, or in lamps that are incompatible with the spiral or folded shape of many CFLs.

·    Do not use CFL bulbs in locations where they can easily be broken, such as play spaces.

·    Use CFL bulbs that have a glass or plastic cover over the spiral or folded glass tube, if available. These types of bulbs look more like incandescent bulbs and may be more durable if dropped.

·    Consider using a drop cloth (e.g., plastic sheet or beach towel) when changing a fluorescent light bulb in case a breakage should occur. The drop cloth will help prevent mercury contamination of nearby surfaces and can be bundled with the bulb debris for disposal.

And if you think you can just throw a CFL bulb in the trash you’ve got another think coming.  The National Geographic has also issued guidelines on how to dispose of this hazardous material:

Proper Disposal Technique

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Energy advise people to dispose of CFL bulbs safely and separately to prevent mercury contamination. In addition, some states and municipalities have passed laws requiring that the bulbs be recycled. To safely recycle your CFLs, contact your waste hauler or municipality to see if either offers a collection service or has a drop-off location for the used bulbs. Many hardware stores collect the bulbs, so check with local retailers if you do not have a drop-off nearby. You can gather the bulbs in a shoe box or another box safely stored away until you accumulate several in need of recycling, thus preventing numerous trips to the drop-off center. (See References 1)

Nullification: The Movie

Nullification is the only way to check that beast from the D.C. swamp.  Until we repeal the 14th, 17th, and 16th Amendments we don’t have a chance against the bureaucratic machine that is grinding our liberties into pulp.

Hopefully, this movie will help awaken Americans to this new form of slavery:  A government of the federal bureaucrat, by the federal bureaucrat, and for the federal bureaucrat.

EPA Tells Energy Unions to Eat Cake

The American people and our elected representatives rejected the cap and trade bill.  But that means nothing to Barack Obama and his jack-booted thugs in the EPA.  His Highness has a will and is finding a way to circumvent Article I of the U.S. Constitution.  The Imperial President will use the bureaucratic machine to serve his purpose.  The Washington Examiner reports:

President Obama's cap-and-trade bill died in the Democrat-run 111th Congress, but that hasn't stopped the chief executive and Lisa Jackson, his U.S. Environmental Protection Agency administrator, from finding regulatory paths to achieve the same goals.

Topping those goals is the abolition of coal as an electrical power-generating fuel. More than half of the electrical power used every day by Americans is generated by power plants fueled by coal. And 90 percent of all the coal consumed in the U.S. goes to electrical power generation.

But that doesn't matter to Obama and Big Green, they are determined to kill the coal industry because of its alleged contribution to global warming.

It appears that Jackson's EPA has now found the perfect regulatory tool to accomplish that goal - the proposed Mercury and Air Toxics Standard (MATS), which, according to the agency, would apply to all "Coal and Oil-Fired Electric Utility Steam Generating Units and Standards of Performance for Fossil-Fuel-Fired Electric Utility, Industrial-Commercial-Institutional, and Small Industrial-Commercial-Institutional Steam Generating Units."

The MATS proposal has sparked massive opposition from among energy industry groups and conservative think tanks, but now a huge coalition of unions that normally are vocal supporters of Obama are warning of the loss of millions of jobs, substantial power-generation capability, and other harmful consequences radiating throughout the entire U.S. economy.

I guess you guys don’t belong to the right kind of union.  How do you like Obama now?  In the past, I would’ve informed you to contact your representatives in Congress; but they don’t seem to matter anymore.  Maybe you can contact your local EPA office.  I’m sure they will offer you some cake.
