Filthy Cities, Thank God for Modernity

A couple of months ago, I came across a 1771 map depicting the city of New Bern in a book entitled, Poorest of the Thirteen: North Carolina and the Southern Department in the American Revolution.  What I found fascinating is the area where the Marriott Courtyard on Front Street currently resides is where a distillery operated downstream from a tannery.  I couldn’t help but think of how unsanitary that was.  To me that is unbelieveable.

Later on, I watched a documentary called Filthy Cities which demonstrated just how disgusting 14th century London, 18th century Paris and 19th century New York City really were.  The narrator describes the stench from human and animal waste that collected on the streets and how the residence tried to cope with it.  Some of it was humorous; other parts were quite disgusting.  And as you can guess one of the major culprits were tanneries.

The next time I hear a libtard bitch about Western civilization, modernity and its corrosive effect on the climate, I’ll pull a Clockwork Orange on his ass and force him to watch Filthy Cities, then maybe he’ll thank his lucky stars he lives in the age of the automobile instead of slogging through three feet of horse shit.

President Trump Threatens to Suspend Healthcare Benefits for Congress

If ObamaCare is hurting people, & it is, why shouldn't it hurt the insurance companies & why should Congress not be paying what public pays?

Since the Senate is incapable of acting on their seven year promise to repeal Obamacare, maybe we should give them a little push.  President Donald Trump has the right idea.

Trump has taken to Twitter several times over the past few days to blast ObamaCare and urge Republicans not to give up on repealing and replacing it.

On Saturday, he similarly ratcheted up his pressure on lawmakers to pass a healthcare plan with a threat to end ObamaCare's subsidy payments to insurers and cancel some lawmakers' healthcare benefits.

Hit them where it counts!  The only way to make these son of bitches move is to take away their health care subsidies.  I hope the president does it.

BOOM! Imran Awan Had Access to Every member of Congress -- SOLD SECRETS ...

Here's a real scandal!  And this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Naked Illegal Aliens Twerk NYC Tourists

New York City is a madhouse thanks to Mayor de Blasio’s sanctuary city policies.  Naked illegal aliens in painted costumes are twerking tourists and demanding money.  Hell, Disney characters are forcing themselves on families and demanding money.  Here is an excerpt from Breitbart:

Police in New York City expressed frustration about not being able to stop naked panhandlers from harassing the public because most of them are illegal aliens. Their status makes it difficult to enforce tickets because of Mayor de Blasio’s sanctuary city policies.

The city established “Designated Activity Zones” (DAZ) in 2016 to provide a place for “costumed characters” a place to work for tips. Some of these panhandlers, called desnudas, are nude women wearing painted on costumes. Law enforcement officers frequently decline to ticket panhandling violations because most of them are illegal aliens, the Daily Mail reported.

Illegal aliens can afford to be aggressive when the laws aren’t enforced.

Charlie Kirk Crushes Socialism

I run into this all the time.  Liberals distrust the federal government; yet, they want to give more power to the bureaucrats. It doesn't make any sense.

The Truth About The Awan Family Democrat IT Scandal | Debbie Wasserman S...

This whole Democratic Party IT scandal has some legs.  The Daily Caller was the lone voice reporting on this family of grifters from Pakistan.  Who knows where this is going to lead, but it should knock that phony Trump/Russian collusion nonsense off the front pages.

Will the mainstream media pick this story up?  They may not have a choice in the matter.  That’s how serious this is.

The Hansen Family Grifters

Last week, Jim Hansen, the prince of Chicken Littles, was featured on one of NPR’s programs condemning farmers for contributing to global warming/climate change.  According to this doomsdayer, tilling soil is as evil as cow farts or humans breathing.  I couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

How can anyone take this man seriously?  Mr. Hansen has never been right about anything.  And how can carbon dioxide be a pollutant when it is essential for life on earth?  Only a priest from the church of global warming would have us believe this foolish notion. Here is one of his dire assessments reported by The Guardian:

Barack Obama has only four years to save the world. That is the stark assessment of Nasa scientist and leading climate expert Jim Hansen who last week warned only urgent action by the new president could halt the devastating climate change that now threatens Earth. Crucially, that action will have to be taken within Obama's first administration, he added.

Soaring carbon emissions are already causing ice-cap melting and threaten to trigger global flooding, widespread species loss and major disruptions of weather patterns in the near future. "We cannot afford to put off change any longer," said Hansen. "We have to get on a new path within this new administration. We have only four years left for Obama to set an example to the rest of the world. America must take the lead."

Calm down Hansen Little - calm down.

During the NPR interview, Mr. Hansen peddled a new technology that would suck carbon dioxide out of the air.  Of course, this would cost a lot of money and this disinterested climate expert didn’t comment on who would pay for this world saving device, but we all know who they’re eyeballing.  That’s right, the U.S. taxpayer.

Apparently, the Hansen family is full of grifters.  His granddaughter is a plaintiff in a lawsuit.  Here is an excerpt from Our Children’s Trust website:

Their complaint asserts that, through the government's affirmative actions that cause climate change, it has violated the youngest generation’s constitutional rights to life, liberty, and property, as well as failed to protect essential public trust resources.

The fossil fuel industry initially intervened in the case as defendants, joining the U.S. government in trying to have the case dismissed. On April 8, 2016, U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas Coffin recommended the denial of their motions to dismiss., and U.S. District Court Judge Ann Aiken upheld Judge Coffin's recommendation, with the issuance of an historic  November 10, 2016 opinion and order that denied the motions. When the defendants sought an interlocutory appeal of that order, Judge  Aiken denied the Trump administration's motions on June 8, 2017. The following day, the Trump administration filed a petition for "writ of mandamus" to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, seeking, again, to avert a trial. The Ninth Circuit has not requested the parties to submit briefs on the government’s petition, and could deny it without doing so

Sometimes I see the wisdom in the progressive era’s eugenics movement.

U.S. State Department Flounders in Utopian Dystopia

One of the basic tenets of the progressive movement is dependence on an administrative state filled with experts knowledgeable in their respective fields.  However, one must consider the end product.  Here is a gem that typifies the genius of Washington D.C.:

Officials in the Trump administration's State Department are standing by a recent report criticized by Congress that blamed Israel for terror attacks and claimed Palestinians rarely incite violence, telling the Washington Free Beacon that it remains unclear why terrorists engage in violent acts.

Rep. Peter Roskam (R., Ill.), co-chair of the House Republican Israel Caucus, criticized the State Department Thursday for releasing a report portraying Israel as the culprit in terrorism and downplaying Palestinian incitement of violent acts against the Jewish state, the Free Beacon first reported.

Now, we know President Trump is a strong supporter of Israel and a harsh critic of the Palestinians, so why is his State Department contradicting his positions?  Could it be that we have rogue agents deeply embedded within this agency?  Do we have a Deep State that believes elections are inconsequential?

I began to question the so-called intelligence of these governmental agencies and in particular the U.S. State Department especially when Russia invaded the Crimean Peninsula.  A number of years ago, I read Samuel P. Huntington’s, The Clash of Civilizations and the Remaking of World Order.  This man predicted the outcome years before it happened.  Did anyone in the State Department see this coming?  If they did, it was a closely guarded secret because Russia has control over Eastern Ukraine as we speak.

How about the Clinton administration’s slavish acquiescence to North Korea?  Here he is reassuring Americans of a nuclear free North Korea:

"Before I take your questions, I'd like to say just a word about the framework with North Korea that Ambassador Gallucci signed this morning. This is a good deal for the United States," Clinton said at the press conference.

"North Korea will freeze and then dismantle its nuclear program. South Korea and our other allies will be better protected. The entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of nuclear weapons.

"South Korea, with support from Japan and other nations, will bear most of the cost of providing North Korea with fuel to make up for the nuclear energy it is losing, and they will pay for an alternative power system for North Korea that will allow them to produce electricity while making it much harder for them to produce nuclear weapons.

"The United States and international inspectors will carefully monitor North Korea to make sure it keeps its commitments. Only as it does so will North Korea fully join the community of nations."

That sounds a lot like the Obama administration’s Iranian nuclear deal?  Apparently, these people are incapable of  learning from their mistakes.  I wonder if China will sell them the missile technology that Clinton traded for campaign donations?  Why not?  How do you think the North Koreans are getting theirs?

Stupidity isn’t partisan.  When President George W. Bush invaded Afghanistan he had hundreds of years of history to consult and didn’t.  I recently watched a documentary about Afghanistan and was dumbstruck at how all these experts in Washington D.C. completely ignored the lessons of the British empire’s forays into that god forsaken hellhole.

Anyone who has confidence in Washington’s D.C.’s expertise hasn’t been paying attention.

Obamacare Violates Antitrust Laws

Washington D.C. is a cesspool of hypocrites, liars, thieves and cheats.  If any law exemplifies the duplicity of that town, it is Obamacare.  These politicians forced a law down our throats while exempting themselves and the apparatchiks in the federal government.  It is quite apparent that no law pertains to those who hold the reins of power.

Collusion is the watchword of today.  We’ve heard all sorts of fairy tales by the mainstream media of a Trump/Russian conspiracy, but none talk about a conspiracy to takeover our healthcare system.  Antitrust laws that have been around for over a hundred years are swept aside because they don’t comport with the progressive agenda.  Here is an excerpt from the Federal Trade Commission describing our antitrust laws:

The Sherman Act outlaws "every contract, combination, or conspiracy in restraint of trade," and any "monopolization, attempted monopolization, or conspiracy or combination to monopolize." Long ago, the Supreme Court decided that the Sherman Act does not prohibit every restraint of trade, only those that are unreasonable. For instance, in some sense, an agreement between two individuals to form a partnership restrains trade, but may not do so unreasonably, and thus may be lawful under the antitrust laws. On the other hand, certain acts are considered so harmful to competition that they are almost always illegal. These include plain arrangements among competing individuals or businesses to fix prices, divide markets, or rig bids. These acts are "per se" violations of the Sherman Act; in other words, no defense or justification is allowed.

Doesn’t the above describe Obamacare?  Didn’t this law fix prices, divide markets, and rig bids?  How is this not a violation of our antitrust laws?  We have states that have only one insurer and others that have whole areas without one.

How many lectures have conservatives endured about capitalism and corporatism in particular?  These people constantly berate successful companies as monopolistic.  Yet, they’re silent when it comes to Obamacare.

Every progressive I’ve met reduces individuals to economic units.  This is classic Marxism.  These same progressives love to talk about their compassion for humanity while exercising their love of government power over the individual.  They call this great leveling “social justice” where individuals are stripped of their uniqueness and stuck in mire of homogenous misery.

Progressives gave us eugenics in the 20th century.  Where was their humanity back then?  This is the same mentality who fight tooth and nail for an abortion mill called Planned Parenthood.  Do we really want these people to have control over our healthcare?  Can anyone say, “death panels.”  Maybe that’s why this death cult is quiet about Obamacare’s violation of antitrust laws.

Sen. John McCain Tweets Indictment of Obamacare

This tweet is an indictment of Senator John McCain's duplicity.

Sen. John McCain: No Country for Old Fools

Everyone experiences failure, it’s through experience that one gains circumspection and hopefully wisdom.  We can forgive a young man for his shortcomings in the hope he’ll learn from his mistakes.  However, I have no tolerance for foolish old men in the twilight of their lives, especially those in public service, who are incapable of retrospection and incurious about the historical record that could guide them.  I’m talking about old fools like Senator John McCain.

Senator John McCain campaigned and voted to repeal Obamacare numerous times when Barack Obama was president.  Now when it matters, he voted to keep it alive because he wanted “bipartisanship.”  Democrats have to be  laughing behind his back, and do doubt exclaiming, “What an old fool!”

Senator John McCain didn’t just vote with Democrats to save Obamacare; he also lambasted patriotic Americans who had the audacity to speak out against a law that affects everyone except those in Washington D.C..  Here is an excerpt from his speech:

Our system doesn’t depend on our nobility. It accounts for our imperfections, and gives an order to our individual strivings that has helped make ours the most powerful and prosperous society on earth.  It is our responsibility to preserve that, even when it requires us to do something less satisfying than "winning." Even when we must give a little to get a little. Even when our efforts manage just three yards and a cloud of dust, while critics on both sides denounce us for timidity, for our failure to "triumph."… Stop listening to the bombastic loudmouths on the radio and television and the Internet. To hell with them. They don’t want anything done for the public good. Our incapacity is their livelihood. Let’s trust each other. Let’s return to regular order. … The Obama administration and congressional Democrats shouldn’t have forced through Congress without any opposition support a social and economic change as massive as Obamacare. And we shouldn’t do the same with ours.

Democrats shouldn’t have, but they did and will do it again and again and again.  These progressives have an ideology that transcends our constitution and country.  Senator McCain has been in office for 30 years and yet he hasn’t learned this simple truth.  How pathetic.

Should we really be surprised that this old fool is incapable of learning from the past?  Senator McCain took office in 1987 right after the Simpson-Mazzoli Act was passed.  This man is well acquainted with this colossal failure; yet, he and the Gang of Eight proposed the exact same bill in 2013.  Did he think the outcome would be different?  Only a fool would think so.

We all know Senator McCain served in Vietnam.  Did he learn from our mistakes?  Apparently not, because there isn’t a conflict in the world where this man doesn’t want to stick our noses in and sacrifice the lives and treasure of American citizens.

I could go on and on about Senator john McCain and his foolishness.  I didn’t even touch his colossal 2008 presidential run.  This man couldn’t beat a Marxist?  How pathetic.

Senator McCain stated our system accounts for our imperfections.  However, I doubt that our country can survive decades of foolish old men.

Republican Senator to Flush Out Single-Payer Commies

Senator Steve Daines of Montana (R) has a plan on flushing out the Marxist turds in red states.  He is proposing an amendment that would introduce a single-payer healthcare system which is similar to Rep. John Conyers.

The Conyers bill, with more than 100 Democratic cosponsors, proposes to create a program the legislation describes as "Medicare for All." According to the bill's language, "all individuals residing in the United States would be covered." To pay for the program, Conyers proposes raising income taxes on the top 5 percent of earners, plus hiking taxes on payroll and self-employment income, unearned income, and stock and bond transactions.

Come out, come out, wherever you are commies!  The problem is progressives hide who they are until it really counts.  Republicans have the same problems with the likes of Sens. John McCain, Susan Collins, Lamar Alexander, Rob Portman, Lisa Murkowski, Shelley Moore and Dean Heller.
