Sen. John McCain Levels Charge of Incompetence and Corruption at Barack Hussein Obama

Finally, we have a handful of senators who’ve grown a pair and are demanding an investigation into this Benghazi fiasco.  John McCain stood on the Senate floor and stated the obvious:
“This president — this administration — has either been guilty of colossal incompetence or been engaged in a coverup, neither of which is acceptable to the American people. I speak as a friend of Christopher Stevens, I speak as a person who knows something about warfare, I speak as something of an authority — that this attack could have been prevented if the information on the ground had been taken into consideration.”

But this corruption also pervades through the upper chamber of Congress.  Senator Harry Reid refuses to allow just such an investigation.

WASHINGTON — The Democratic leader in the Senate is rejecting Sen. John McCain's request for a Watergate-style congressional committee to investigate the deadly Sept. 11 raid in Libya.

In a letter Friday to McCain, Sen. Harry Reid said he refuses to allow the Senate to be used as a "venue for baseless partisan attacks." Reid said several committees in the House and Senate are already investigating the attack that killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens.

McCain and two other Republicans had introduced a resolution this week calling for the special panel. Reid said the election is over, and it is time to end the politicization of national security.

Since when is an attack on one of our consulates, resulting in the death of four Americans a politicization of national security?  Let’s not forget the outright lie that a video criticizing the false prophet Muhammad was the catalyst.  These Democrats really believe the American people are stupid sheeple.  Well, maybe half the population is, after considering this past election.

And how is it that Senator Harry Reid can have so much power that he can thwart not only an investigation on Benghazi, but also not provide a budget in three years?  Maybe Senator McCain should level the charge of incompetence and corruption at the man from Searchlight, Nevada as well.
