California Democrats Scheme to Steal Federal Tax Relief

Democrats are incapable of reforming themselves.  They’re incorrigible spendthrifts who, in the face of adversity, will double down on greed and stupidity.  Even when their theories have been proven wrong, their self-righteous attitude will not allow them to accept the obvious.

And what is the obvious?  The Republican tax plan has been a windfall for companies and their employees.  Big businesses have disproved the progressive myth that the fat cats will divide the profits amongst themselves and their shareholders while emaciated workers plea for a spoonful of gruel.

The middle-class are the main beneficiaries of the Republican tax plan. Sure, SALT has been reduced, but this should be considered an opportunity for state and local governments to reform themselves.  Of course, the more obstreperous regions refuse to accept fiscal responsibility; instead, they’re looking for alternative ways to fill their coffers.  Who’ll be the scapegoats?  Why the usual suspects, of course.

SACRAMENTO — California lawmakers are targeting the expected windfall that companies in the state would see under the federal tax overhaul with a bill that would require businesses to turn over half to the state.

A proposed Assembly Constitutional Amendment by Assemblymen Kevin McCarty, D-Sacramento, and Phil Ting, D-San Francisco, would create a tax surcharge on California companies making more than $1 million so that half of their federal tax cut would instead go to programs that benefit low-income and middle-class families.

“Trump’s tax reform plan was nothing more than a middle-class tax increase,” Ting said in a statement. “It is unconscionable to force working families to pay the price for tax breaks and loopholes benefiting corporations and wealthy individuals. This bill will help blunt the impact of the federal tax plan on everyday Californians by protecting funding for education, affordable health care, and other core priorities.”

What is unconscionable is theft through taxation.  The above attitude is why businesses and  Californians are leaving the “golden state” in droves.  I have news for these Sacramento Marxist:  You’re economic theories are a bust; have been and always will be.  While red state, America prospers, California Democrats can shelter their eyes from a homeless epidemic and wade through shit filled streets.
