Democrats Scheme to Silence Political Opponents

How petty and corrupt are Democrats?  If they don’t like what you have to say, they’ll use the full force of the federal government to shut you up.  They’ve already used the IRS on the Tea Party; however, they need something a little more powerful to take on established organization and people who have resources to defend themselves.  Democrats need to change the First Amendment.  The Daily Caller reported the following:

The proposed amendment, sponsored by Democratic Sen. Tom Udall, would give Congress broad power to shape campaign finance laws. It would effectively overturn the Supreme Court’s 2010 ruling in Citizens United v. FEC and 2014 ruling in McCutcheon v. FEC, which struck down laws restricting when corporations and unions can spend money on elections, and how much individuals can donate to candidates in a two-year period.

This is “the most important issue to Americans in years,” added Sen. Bernie Sanders. “If people think this is some kind of esoteric issue, not related to jobs, the economy, and wages, and women’s rights, and income and wealth inequality, and healthcare and global warming, you are deadly wrong.”

“Why do people like the Koch brother’s spend hundreds of millions of dollars?” he continued. “If you understand what they stand for, and that is to end, do away with social security, do away with medicare, do away with medicaid do away with the concept of the minimum wage, do away with the environmental protection agency — that is the struggle. They have an agenda.”

Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse also pointed to the Koch Brothers as a reason for amending the Constitution, and accused them of coercing Republicans into giving up on climate change legislation. Before Citizens United, the Republicans had a candidate for president willing to have a climate change plan, he said, and brought a carbon regulations bill to the Senate floor. But now “the Koch brothers, the biggest polluters in this country have gotten together, and they’ve silenced them.”

Silenced them?  More like exposed them.  I’ve got a solution if people really want to get money out of politics and especially out of Washington D.C.  We should repeal the 17^th Amendment and let States’ legislators decide who represents their interest, as was intended by our founding fathers.  The progressive experiment has proven to be a failure; it’s time to right this ship before Democrats turn this country into a totalitarian hell hole.

Senator Kay Hagan's Boogeyman

Libtards are always railing against their dreaded boogeyman, the Koch brothers.  According to them, it’s not their party’s policies that is responsible for our crappy economy, or the paternalistic attitude that irritates a free people; or, the applauding by our elected representatives for a lawless commander-in-chief.  And let’s not forget the biggest power grab in American history, Obamacare.  No it’s the Koch brother under their bed that threatens a Democrat’s electoral chances in 2014.

 Senator Kay Hagan of North Carolina is pulling the bed sheets over her head along with the rest of the know nothings that infest her party.  The Daily Caller reported the following: 

Vulnerable Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan shrugged off the massive amounts of money being spent in her race by a group backed by the Koch brothers, saying her state’s residents will stop them from trying to “buy” her seat in the Senate.

“The people in North Carolina are not going to let the billionaire Koch brothers buy this seat,” Hagan said on MSNBC’s “All In with Chris Hayes” on Wednesday night

“My state, as you said, is being flooded with millions of dollars, funded by outside interest groups,” Hagan said. “They’ve opposed the bipartisan farm bill that is extremely important to the agricultural sector in my state. They opposed the bipartisan budget bill that turned off sequestration. At the same time, they’ve gotten tax cuts for the wealthy and put that burden on 80 percent of the middle-class families, increasing their taxes. These are not policies that North Carolinians want, and they’re not going to be fooled by this outside money.”

A key part of the barrage against Hagan and other Democratic senators that Republicans perceive as vulnerable in 2014 is tying them to Obamacare, something Hagan defended.

“The people in North Carolina have the fifth-highest signup on the exchanges, after Florida, New York, California and Texas, it’s North Carolina, so they’re very interested in this,” Hagan said. “We want to show that the Affordable Care Act is something whose time has come. It’s going to really change how the cost of health care will not have these huge increases that we’ve been seeing every year.”

 Hagan also referenced the “war on women” theme pushed by Democrats.

“You know what my opponents want to do? They want to personally get involved in the health care decisions, especially of women,” Hagan said. “Every one of my opponents to date has said that the state has the authority to ban contraception. I can guarantee you, that’s what women will not want to have to hear.”

I’ve got news for Senator Kay Hagan.  The reason conservatives in North Carolina opposed the farm bill is because it’s laden with pork.  Sequestration was the only law that actually cut federal spending in decades.   And as for tax cuts for the wealthy, I have no idea what you’re talking about.  The U.S. Senate and the presidency belong to your party.  So, if a law was passed granting tax cuts to the wealthy, your party was part of it.  And as for banning contraception, that is another lie.  The taxpayers of North Carolina should not have to pay for others irresponsible behavior.  You want an abortion?  Pay for it yourself.

I do hope you continue running on Obamacare, because that law is a declaration of war on small businesses and the middle class.  Oh, and should you be reminded, women also own businesses as well.  See you in November.
