Nancy Pelosi's "Idiocracy" Talking Points

God forbid, the Democratic Party wins the House of Representatives during the midterm.  If that comes to pass, Nancy Pelosi will once again become Speaker.  It’s bad enough we have a clueless nimrod in the White House, but to have the complete legislature resemble the movie “Idiocracy” once again is intolerable.

I laughed out loud when the Botox princess stated that this country doesn’t have a spending problem, and that investment in education is what brings revenue into the treasury.  Here is an excerpt from the Hill:

The Democratic House leader said she backed a “big, bold proposal,” that targeted ending subsidies for large oil companies and eliminating loopholes in the tax code.
"It isn't as much a spending problem as much as it is priorities," she said, arguing that tax subsidies were a better target than additional cuts that could hit programs such as education.

"Nothing brings more money to the Treasury of the United States than investment in education of the American people, so we have to recognize that," she said. "Cuts in education, scientific research and the rest are harmful and they are what are affected by the sequestration."
This woman is out of touch.  83% of the American people believe the federal government has a spending problem; but the princess doesn’t want to hear that.  Instead, she sticks to the same old talking points.

The supposed subsidies the congresswoman accuses the oil companies of having is no different than what other businesses get:  deductible business expenses.  But because they deal in oil, they can easily be demonized.  And as for education, how are those degrees going to add to the treasury when no one can get a job?  Answer that one princess.
The business owners I’ve met are those whom learn a trade, and later in life decided to go on their own.  They then hire others as business expands.  A piece of paper had nothing to do with it.  But I’ll tell you what does affect these entrepreneurs: relentless taxation and warrantless red tape from government bureaucrats.  But you can’t tell that to a person who believes food stamps are good for the economy.

Charlotte Observer "Presents" Themselves to Obama During Mt. Holly Trip

The Anointed One made a stop in North Carolina, and the slavish sycophants obediently dropped their drawers and presented themselves to his Majesty – Barack Hussein Obama. The editors at the Charlotte Observer couldn’t wait to bend over and wiggle their butts for their lord and master, as he lectured us on energy and our “overuse” of oil:

President Barack Obama's appearance Wednesday in Mount Holly featured the usual election year fare - swooning crowds, pokes at Republicans and other solid applause lines. But the president's speech also brought something of substance, though small, to our country's fight to wean itself from foreign oil.

In a speech given at the Daimler Trucks plant, Obama proposed tax credits of up to $10,000 for advanced vehicles that run on alternative fuels, plus a $1 billion grant program for communities that pave the way for broad use of those vehicles.

It was not a particularly grand proposal, but rather a step in the marathon this country faces in changing its energy culture. And while many presidents and presidential candidates have mouthed the right words about eliminating our dependence on foreign oil, Obama has offered the most well-rounded plan to get there - albeit with some stumbles in execution.

Well-rounded plan? Stumbles in execution? This administration has wasted billions of taxpayer monies on his buddies and campaign bundlers. This is one of the most corrupt administrations in American history. The Disturber would have us believe that only a few “green investments” didn’t pan out, when in fact a slew of them went down in failure. And let’s take a look at the $10,000 tax credit for hybrid vehicles; who can afford these vehicles besides the rich, and why are we giving the One Percent a tax break? Where are the Occupiers on this absurdity?

In the meantime gas in reaching $4.00 a gallon, while the Anointed One lectures us on conservation and our dependence on oil. This asshole hasn’t worked an honest day in his life. He hasn’t owned a business. He’s never met a payroll; yet he deigns to lecture everyone on how to run THEIR businesses. What chutzpah!

We Americans made a terrible mistake when we allowed the Progressives to circumvent the Constitution by making the executive branch the manager of our economy. It’s time to restore our founding principles and put little dictators like Barack Obama in their place.

Democrats Propose Another Windfall Tax on Oil Companies

The Wizard of Oz’s lost munchkin has once again proposed a windfall tax on oil companies. Rep. Dennis Kucinich (understudy to the lead lollipop kid) wants a government sponsored board to monitor gas prices, and determine what constitutes a just profit:

The Democrats, worried about higher gas prices, want to set up a board that would apply a "windfall profit tax" as high as 100 percent on the sale of oil and gas, according to their legislation. The bill provides no specific guidance for how the board would determine what constitutes a reasonable profit.

The Gas Price Spike Act,
H.R. 3784, would apply a windfall tax on the sale of oil and gas that ranges from 50 percent to 100 percent on all surplus earnings exceeding "a reasonable profit." It would set up a Reasonable Profits Board made up of three presidential nominees that will serve three-year terms. Unlike other bills setting up advisory boards, the Reasonable Profits Board would not be made up of any nominees from Congress.

I believe citizens in individual states should establish a council to determine a windfall tax on politicians and their beneficiaries who profit from taxpayer largess. Barack Obama and the Democratic Party have profited handsomely from campaign bundlers, who in turn have received federal government guaranteed loans.

Solyndra is a fine example of government sponsored venturism, and the graft known as green energy. The waste involved in this bankruptcy case is a testament to state sponsored coercion.

So why is a bankrupt company that owes a fortune to creditors, including American taxpayers, throwing away millions of dollars worth of assets?

Solyndra is not commenting. But court documents reveal the company received permission from the bankruptcy trustee to abandon the high grade glass, the court agreeing that it was of “inconsequential value” because the cost of storing them exceeds their value.

An employee for Heritage Global Partners, the company in charge of selling Solyndra’s assets, told CBS 5 they conducted an exhaustive search for buyers but no one wanted them.

But how exhaustive was that search? The tubes were never included on the list of Solyndra assets put up for sale at two auctions last year.

If they were, David Lucky told CBS 5 he would have bought them. “We certainly would have bid on them, yes,” Lucky said.

Lucky owns several large warehouses near Las Vegas. He buys and then resells manufacturing equipment and components all the time.

“Our company has bought a lot of stuff over the years. Truck loads and warehouses full of inventory that companies were just ready to send to the dump, because they don’t want to take the time to find markets for it,” he said.

We currently have over a dozen government sponsored green energy companies filing for bankruptcy. You’d think that would’ve been enough for Obama and the Democratic Party; but you would be wrong. They are now doubling down through the Department of Agriculture:

President Obama's Department of Agriculture (USDA) called for applicants to receive the $25.4 million in funding flagged for rural green energy loan guarantees and grants, even as Obama's campaign released an ad defending the Solyndra loan.

"This funding will assist rural farmers, ranchers and business owners to build renewable energy projects, providing opportunities for new technologies, create green jobs and help America become more energy self-sufficient," Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack said today in a statement.

The $25 million available today comes through the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP), and "will support at least $12.5 million in grant and approximately $48.5 million in guaranteed loan program level awards."

Since Barack Obama took office, gas prices have doubled. You’d think that would be a consideration for the implementation of the Keystone XL Pipeline; but apparently, it didn't even raise a blip on the radar. It makes you wonder what kind of an agenda this president has.
