Medicaid was established to help the poor. But as usual, Beltway courtesans aren’t
content with a government program’s original mission. No, they have to subject everyone to the wonders
of bureaucratic red tape by turning it into an entitlement.
Middle-class families, who once proudly were able to
afford private health insurance, are now forced to go hat in hand to a federal commissar
for a government handout. Mind you, this
country is $20 trillion in debt with $200 trillion in unfunded liabilities. Take a look at the graph below and tell me
this is sustainable.
If you think healthcare is expensive now, wait until
it’s free. Venezuelans have universal
healthcare. I wonder how that’s working
out for them.
