The Hansen Family Grifters

Last week, Jim Hansen, the prince of Chicken Littles, was featured on one of NPR’s programs condemning farmers for contributing to global warming/climate change.  According to this doomsdayer, tilling soil is as evil as cow farts or humans breathing.  I couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

How can anyone take this man seriously?  Mr. Hansen has never been right about anything.  And how can carbon dioxide be a pollutant when it is essential for life on earth?  Only a priest from the church of global warming would have us believe this foolish notion. Here is one of his dire assessments reported by The Guardian:

Barack Obama has only four years to save the world. That is the stark assessment of Nasa scientist and leading climate expert Jim Hansen who last week warned only urgent action by the new president could halt the devastating climate change that now threatens Earth. Crucially, that action will have to be taken within Obama's first administration, he added.

Soaring carbon emissions are already causing ice-cap melting and threaten to trigger global flooding, widespread species loss and major disruptions of weather patterns in the near future. "We cannot afford to put off change any longer," said Hansen. "We have to get on a new path within this new administration. We have only four years left for Obama to set an example to the rest of the world. America must take the lead."

Calm down Hansen Little - calm down.

During the NPR interview, Mr. Hansen peddled a new technology that would suck carbon dioxide out of the air.  Of course, this would cost a lot of money and this disinterested climate expert didn’t comment on who would pay for this world saving device, but we all know who they’re eyeballing.  That’s right, the U.S. taxpayer.

Apparently, the Hansen family is full of grifters.  His granddaughter is a plaintiff in a lawsuit.  Here is an excerpt from Our Children’s Trust website:

Their complaint asserts that, through the government's affirmative actions that cause climate change, it has violated the youngest generation’s constitutional rights to life, liberty, and property, as well as failed to protect essential public trust resources.

The fossil fuel industry initially intervened in the case as defendants, joining the U.S. government in trying to have the case dismissed. On April 8, 2016, U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas Coffin recommended the denial of their motions to dismiss., and U.S. District Court Judge Ann Aiken upheld Judge Coffin's recommendation, with the issuance of an historic  November 10, 2016 opinion and order that denied the motions. When the defendants sought an interlocutory appeal of that order, Judge  Aiken denied the Trump administration's motions on June 8, 2017. The following day, the Trump administration filed a petition for "writ of mandamus" to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, seeking, again, to avert a trial. The Ninth Circuit has not requested the parties to submit briefs on the government’s petition, and could deny it without doing so

Sometimes I see the wisdom in the progressive era’s eugenics movement.

Liberal Hysteria at Defcon 1

Libtards have reached defcon 1 hysteria level.  This is beyond Bush derangement syndrome.  We have entered into a whole new dimension of stupidity and outright silliness that is beyond anything I’ve experienced or read in American history.

As of today, Democrats and their progressive masters in the media are manufacturing a narrative that President Trump, our commander in chief, gave away classified information to the Russians.  The very premise is absurd.  The President of the United States determines what is classified and what is not.  He was elected to dictate policy.  To state otherwise is to acknowledge that the Deep State exist and nameless, faceless bureaucrats are running the country.  If that is the case, I dare these loudmouths in Washington D.C. to admit it.  Do it!  I dare you!

Liberal hysteria goes beyond this Russian and James Comey nonsense.  Last week, I was listening to NPR and these people were absolutely hilarious.  According to these so-called intellectuals, Donald Trump has turned the United States into a kleptocracy verging on third-world status.  Oh, and by the way did I forget to mention he was fascist?

Isn’t it interesting that these people have conveniently forgot about the Stimulus Bill boondoggle that Obama’s bundlers fed off.  Now that was kleptocracy.  And if we’re going to discuss betraying a nation, how about Obama’s Iranian deal ?  This man colluded with the mullahs by funding terrorist organizations and ensuring a nuclear Iran.  How does it feel knowing an apocalyptic regime hellbent on destroying Western civilization will have the tools to bring about armageddon?   As far as I’m concerned that is treason.

No link between Trump & Russia No link between Assange & Russia But Podesta & Clinton involved in selling 20% of US uranium to Russia

And let’s not forget who the real Russian agents are.  Hillary Clinton brokered a deal that ultimately sold 20% of U.S. uranium to the Putin regime.  And we’re to believe the Trump administration betrayed American interest?

The media, Democratic Party and Washington D.C. establishment have shamed themselves.  Long gone are the days of Daniel Webster, John Quincy Adams, John C. Calhoun and Henry Clay.  Now we have the likes of Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and RINO’s who’ll sell themselves to gain favor from moral derelicts and malicious reprobates.

Make no mistake, our republic is in danger but it’s not from President Donald Trump.

Central Planners Want Health Care Cost Controls

'

Last week, I listened to a couple of central planners on NPR discuss Obamacare.  I can’t remember their names.  It really doesn’t matter.  All of us have heard their excuses before about the failures of the website, not to mention how stupid and unappreciative us plebeians are for losing our “substandard” policies in lieu of their mandated “superior” insurance that we can’t afford, or the provisions which we’ll never use.

What made these commentators different than the rest is their advocacy for government “ price and cost controls.”  Now, anyone with a small degree of knowledge of the not too distant past can attest to the failures of this policy.  Hell, all we have to do is look to Venezuela.  Their president seized a chain store declaring confiscatory prices:

The president, who took over from Hugo Chávez in April 2013, appeared on state television Friday calling for the "occupation" of the chain, which employs some 500 staff.

"This is for the good of the nation," Maduro said. "Leave nothing on the shelves, nothing in the warehouses … Let nothing remain in stock!"

The president was accompanied on television by images of officials checking prices of 32-inch plasma televisions.

Daka's store managers, according to Maduro, have been arrested and are being held by the country's security services. Neither Daka nor the government responded to requests for comment.

Maduro has long blamed the opposition for waging an economic war on the country though critics are adamant that government price controls, enacted by Chávez a decade ago, are the real cause for the dire state of the economy.

With such a shortage of hard currency for importers and regular citizens, dollars sell on the black market for nine times their official, government-set value. Prices, at shops such as Daka, are set according to this black market, hence the government's crackdown.

Chávez often theatrically expropriated or seized assets from more than 1,000 companies during his 14-year tenure. This, among other difficulties for foreign firms, led to a severe lack of foreign investment in the country which, according to OPEC, has the world's largest oil reserves.

"This is more like government-sanctioned looting," said 42-year-old Caracas-based engineer Carlos Rivero. "What stops them going into pharmacies, supermarkets and shopping malls?

Do we really want to become Venezuela?  Many Americans apparently do.

NPR's Misguided Insight Into the Boston Marathon Bombings

Whenever an atrocity takes place, liberals are quick to blame "rightwingers."  And as usual they're wrong.  But that never stops them.  They just slither away, hoping and praying for another massacre and maybe next time, a Tea Partier will actually commit a crime.

NPR is a class act.  This is another reason to take away our tax dollars from these Democratic Party propagandist.

Rep. James McGovern: Another Clueless Libtard

And here we have another clueless libtard. Rep. James McGovern (D-Mass) goes on a tortuous apologetic rant defending NPR. Of course, facts mean nothing to liberals. They are about as shameless and casual with the truth as Bill Clinton is with a box of cigars.

Rep. McGovern proposed a bill that would stop any funds or advertising from the federal government to Fox News. What does that amount to? Nothing! Better yet, why don’t we get rid of all federal subsidies to any company that has an interest in the media, period? That would be a body blow to those leeches at General Electric. What do you say to that Mr. McGovern?

Hold onto your power libtards, because a tsunami is coming your way in the next general election.

Rep. Anthony Weiner is a Clueless Class Warrior

Rep. Anthony Weiner is the epitome of a clueless class warrior. Notice in the above debate that it is he and the federal government that is entitled to the fruits of others labor. Patronage is what motivates politicians, and without taxpayer money their power is diminished. It is the equivalent of throwing water on the Wicked Witch of the West; they fade away.

Even the admission by NPR executives that they would be better off without federally funded dollars isn’t enough for the Weener.  No, he has to elevate his rhetoric to preposterous proportions:

We are witnessing the desperations of a grasping elitist.  The Weener is having problems coping with his impending relegation as an inconsequential incompetent.

NPR Isn't Biased?

NPR isn't biased? Why don't we ask senior vice president Ron Schiller what he thinks about tea partiers and the conservative movement:

— "The Tea Party is fanatically involved in people's personal lives and very fundamental Christian — I wouldn't even call it Christian. It's this weird evangelical kind of move."

— "Tea Party people" aren't "just Islamaphobic, but really xenophobic, I mean basically they are, they believe in sort of white, middle-America gun-toting. I mean, it's scary. They're seriously racist, racist people."

And here is something we both can agree upon:

— That NPR "would be better off in the long run without federal funding,"

It's time to defund NPR!
