Progressives "Reconstruct" Our Republican Form of Government

As a student of history, l can say with certainty that there has always been a faction in this country that strives to “Reconstruct” the citizenry into doctrinaires who’ll unquestionably accept their ideology. These fanatics believe they are endowed with superior intellect and we inferior beings must bend to their will. These people will do anything to achieve those ends.


The latest iteration of radicals, as we all know, are Progressives who’ll sink to any level to obtain power. Their latest tactic is to marginalize Article IV, Section 4 of the U.S. Constitution which guarantees every state a republican form of government by attacking state legislatures and their rights under Article I, Section 4.


George Soros, the devil incarnate, is funding the National Democratic Redistricting Foundation which is chaired by gun runner, Eric Holder. The sole purpose for this organization is to employ rogue justices who’ll force state legislatures to forgo their constitutional prerogatives by accepting predetermined districts drawn by Progressives. North Carolina can attest to this unrelenting wave of lawsuits that challenge every state, federal and judicial district. This is happening in red states throughout the country including Texas. With the help of hedge fund billionaire George Soros, the National Democratic Redistricting Committee hopes to wrest control from voters of congressional redistricting in 2021 when booming conservative states such as Texas will gain seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. All for the benefit of their special-interest donors.


That the first fundraisers for this self-described “super group” were held in San Francisco and Los Angeles reveals one of their goals: to reinstate Rep. Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House. But they aren’t stopping there.


Headed by former Attorney General Eric Holder, the tax-exempt 527 political action committee plans a three-pronged attack to flood state-level races with outside money, to leverage activist courts to wrest control of state redistricting plans, and finally, with the formidable community organizing prowess of former President Barack Obama, to fund astroturfed ballot initiatives in the guise of “fairness.”



Republicans had better wake-up and understand that we are in a political war and the stakes are much higher than obtaining an office at Capitol Hill. Our Republic is endanger and its time they fought back by dusting off and employing the Constitution of the United States.

The Republic of Coston's Complaint

Bill Whittle outlined what his small government republic would look like in the above video.  He is correct that states are sovereign except for specific limitations delegated to the general government in our Constitution.  We have a republican form of government, not a national one.  The central planners have done their best to eviscerate this basic premise.

    

I agree with some of what Mr. Whittle has stated.  However, I would like to give my vision as to what a Republic of Coston’s Complaint would be like. Let’s begin.  I would keep the U.S. Constitution with an emphasis on the following:

Congress shall not delegate their powers to legislate.  That means the 1946 Administrative Procedure Act will be null and void.  Regulatory agencies do not have the power to set rules or adjudicate.  That’s what Congress and the federal judiciary is for. 

The first eight amendments in the Bill of Rights applies only to the federal government as was intended by our founders.

The Supreme Court does not have judicial review and precedent shall not trump principles.  Too often we’ve witnessed the bastardization of a law through precedent.  The 14^th Amendment is a perfect example of what I’m talking about.  This amendment was designed to ensure ex-slaves and their progeny received due process of the law and were granted full rights of citizenship.  Furthermore, this amendment disenfranchised and punished Southerners who participated in the Civil War.  Now a days, it means anything an activist judge wants it to mean.  This amendment has no place in a republic.

A 10% flat tax shall be instituted to fund the general government.  However, said general government cannot tax citizens directly.  States shall be responsible for instituting and collecting taxes as they see fit.  It can be through a progressive tax system or a flat tax.  The federal government does not have a say.  The IRS will no longer be able to intimidate and harass citizens of this country ever again.

It is important that States’ legislatures have a say in the general government.  They are a vital check on federal despotism. That means repealing the 17^th Amendment.  If a senator refuses to obey the directives of his respective states legislators, that body has a right of recall.

The Republic of Coston’s Complaint takes pride in citizenship.  Anyone who aides and abets an illegal alien has diminished said citizenship.  The U.S. Constitution states Congress has the authority to set rules for naturalization.  States have an invested interest to see those rules enforced.  States can deny illegal aliens and their children access to our schools and public services.  Housing can be denied.  Any person or business that hires or houses an illegal alien will be fined, imprisoned and lose their business license.  You many not respect your citizenship, I’ll be damned if you disrespect mine.

Mr. Whittle touched on gay marriage.  As far as I’m concerned, States shall make that determination.  Personally, I don’t agree with it.  But in the Republic of Coston’s Complaint if you don’t like the way a State’s government is running at least you can change it or move to another.

Fareed Zakaria Calls Tea Partiers Anti-Democratic; Then Invokes Obama Dictatorship

Liberals cease to amaze me. Their hypocrisy is downright jaw dropping at times. Fareed Zakaria was on Anderson Cooper’s 360 Show. The son of a third world Imam blamed the tea partiers for holding our “democracy” hostage by not raising the debt ceiling. Now, this man was adamant that the demands of the tea party people were dictatorial and that THEY must compromise their principles, because to not do so would be “undemocratic.”

Fareed Zakaria is a naturalized citizen. I thought you had to have a basic understanding of our form of government, and pass a test before becoming a citizen. His insistence that we are a democracy, when in fact we are a constitutional republic, makes me wonder what the federal government is teaching these immigrants.

But the most appalling part of this interview, after he called the tea partiers “anti-democratic”, was his invocation of the 14th Amendment. He wants Obama to become a dictator and raise the debt ceiling himself. Now, I ask you who is “anti-democratic”.
