DNC Pacts Primary Race by Endorsing Deborah Ross

Whatever republican primary voters have to say about the GOP establishment, we can at least give them credit for not having their national committee openly endorse a candidate during a primary race which is exactly what the DNC did in North Carolina.  The Fayetteville Observer reported the following:

One day after the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee announced that it’s backing former state Rep. Deborah Ross in the Democratic Senate primary, her primary opponents and national GOP leaders are critiquing the move.
The endorsement was a rare move from the campaign wing of the national Democratic Party, because Ross isn’t the nominee and must first defeat Durham businessman Kevin Griffin and Spring Lake Mayor Chris Rey in the March 15 primary

This is the same woman who declared illegal aliens were Americans too.  No wonder the DNC wants her in office.

Good News for North Carolina: Deborah Ross Resigns from General Assembly

Good news out of the North Carolina General Assembly.  Democratic legislator Deborah Ross has decided to resign.  She has found greener pastures with Triangle Transit.  Ross is a huge advocate for illegal aliens that reside in the Old North State.  Maybe she can provide them with “free” passes so they won’t feel persecuted from those mean Americans.  Oh, I’m sorry Ms. Ross, ‘North Americans.’

Citizenship isn’t exactly her strong suit.  We’ve come to expect this kind of self-loathing from a former lobbyist for the American Civil Liberties Union
Ms. Ross is good at throwing temper tantrums, especially when she doesn’t get her way.  Being a democrat, it usually comes in the form of phantom persecutions and ridiculous ravings of perceived rights.

Here is an example of Deborah Ross' view of special rights as reported by the Winston-Salem Journal

Once a top lieutenant to then-House Speaker Joe Hackney, D-Orange, Ross is the latest member of his team to leave the General Assembly. She has spent the past 2 1/2 years in the minority party trying to block GOP legislation that she and other Democrats view as reversing gains made by her party over the past several decades. Ross spent Wednesday morning in a judiciary committee unsuccessfully trying to mitigate a bill that would prohibit sex-selective abortions, which she ultimately voted against.

At a rally for women's rights in March, Ross said an abortion bill was part of a larger war on women and families in North Carolina that includes rejection of federal dollars to expand Medicaid and a proposal to require photo identification for voting. Both issues affect women disproportionately, she said, adding that the photo ID especially affects older women, who are less likely to drive.

"Why are they afraid of these older women?" she asked then. "It's because they are the women who have fought for rights. They are the women who care about family issues. ... They're doing everything they can to keep us quiet. But we're not going to be quiet."

I’m sure you won’t.  Not even a scold’s bridle could shame your special brand of stupidity.

N.C. Democrats Claim Redistricting Suppresses Women

Democratic women in North Carolina are complaining about the newly redrawn districts. They believe it’s about gender warfare, where they are the victims of an evil plot to suppress their voice.

“The Republican redistricting plan was another assault on women,” said state Rep. Deborah Ross in the video. “More women were put in a double bunking situation — which means either they were put with another Democrat or they were put in with a Republican — than we’ve ever seen.”

“There’s six women who serve in the Senate, three of us have been double-bunked,” said state Sen. Linda Garrou. In the House, of the 20 Democratic women, six were “double-bunked.”

“We’re losing half of the women who represent us,” bemoaned state Rep. Susan Fisher.

“All of these women were targeted and that’s disturbing,” added state Rep. Earline Parmon
.

Of course that is absurd. If anything this is an ideological battle and they lost. North Carolinians are sick of having the highest tax rates in the southeast and state budget that is a basket case, thanks to decades of democratic rule.

Here is an example of the stupidity of one of the complainers in the above video and one of the reasons why North Carolina overwhelmingly voted republican this past election:

N.C. State Legislator: Illegals Are Americans Too!

North Carolina has a sizeable illegal population, and they are trying to gain legitimacy through the use of Mexican Matricula Cards. The General Assembly’s judiciary subcommittee passed H.B. 33 which prohibits the use of these cards as a legitimate form of identification.

Deborah Ross, a representative of N.C. District 38, voted against this measure. She believes that anyone who was born in the Western Hemisphere is an American. Borders and citizenship mean nothing to this woman. You ask where in the hell is District 38, and who are the morons that voted this self-loathing American (or should I say North American) into office? That’s right Wake County.

Is it any wonder that this state has a $2 billion budget deficit when you have people like this running the show? Thank God the citizens of North Carolina, (not the Americas) threw the Democrats out of the majority this past November. If the people of Wake County value their citizenship, they will get rid of Deborah Ross in the next election.
