Nancy Pelosi's favorite "Word"
Nancy Pelosi stated in a press conference that her favorite word was "the word." It was a surreal spectacle, almost unnatural. If I hadn't known better I could have swore she was referencing God, Jesus Christ, or the Bible without actually making a declarative statement. Surely, this couldn't be the case.
Princess Pelosi further elaborated that we must give voice to what that means in terms of public policy and that the "word" says it all for them. Now, I thought here it comes. They are going to finally out themselves. A banner of Karl Marx is about to be unfurled from the ceiling. But nothing happened
I began to think that we were all participating in a Harry Potter novel: He that can not be named. And that name or word of course was socialism. Again, she teased us by stating that "the great mystery of our faith"; but what was that faith? She just couldn't come out and say it.
My suggestion to the Princess is the next time you wish to expound on some sort of spiritual revelation, you might want to wear your Che Guevara t-shirt, so we know what you're talking about.
